She'll have no regrets either because her mood is currently rock bottom. "I'm just...going through a rough patch, okay? I deserve sympathy points, not judgement."

What’s the meaning of this?

A/n: I looked up uncommon girl names for the sister and picked Nerissa so if that’s your name no it’s not.
Yandere Aemond X Fem! Reader, Aemond X Your sister (For a brief moment)
You had been in your private chambers done with lessons and duties for the day having the thought to relax before going out to the gardens to read or talk between your sisters, seeing a maid come in only to take the letter from her and started reading it seeing such details from Aemond Targaryen which only confused you all more even if the words were sweet but didn't think much as you stood up going to offer it to the sister you figured it was meant for instead. Your beautiful younger Nerissa sister took the letter and began reading it. The first paragraph sent her cheeks blushing as it described in beautiful words how much Aemond desired her, but the ending confused her as Aemond went on to say that he had not meant to write the letter for her, but for her beautiful older sister...you. The words were incredibly flattering, but the fact that they were not meant for her left a pit of disappointment in her stomach. As if it had been given to her by mistake as she stayed quiet.
You noticed the confusion on your sister's face and was about to ask about it until you heard a quick thank you then watched as your sister quickly walked away with the detailed letter in hand without  a second thought before shrugging your shoulders, going about your business even as you mentioned it in passing but still didn't think much about it even as the maid followed Nerissa closely and quietly asked as she tilted her head toward the younger girl not knowing your sister was going to lie and attempt to marry prince Aemond instead "What are you doing? That letter was meant for lady Y/n."
Nerissa nervously looked behind herself to make sure the maid was not watching before turning back and whispering to her. “I know, but I have always loved prince Aemond. He doesn’t know it yet, but we are meant to be together Now go on, don’t say anything to anyone, ok?” She smiled as the prospect of marrying Prince Aemond started to seem more and more real. It would be a beautiful story for her and no one would dare to question it in the face of such obvious bliss.
The maid slowly nodded her head in understanding even if she knew that the letter was in fact for you but figured it really wasn't any of her business as she watched your sister walk away with a love-struck look in her eye before continuing on with her duties, you were out in the garden choosing to enjoy some fresh air as you read a book having forgotten all about the heavily detailed letter from Aemond as you truly thought it was mistaken that it was delivered to you but was happy that your sister would be cared for and happy in what you figured would be a happy marriage.
Your sister was beaming with pride as she ran off with the letter. She had successfully tricked the maid and now all she had to do was convince Aemond. She went back into her room and began writing her own letter back to Aemond. In the letter she would confess her own feelings for him and try to convince him that a marriage was in the cards for him and her. She knew he would be shocked, but she was an attractive woman and knew she could charm him as well as anybody could even as she signed it the same way you would.
She wrote of how she had always had a crush on him from afar and had wanted nothing more than to be his wife. She talked about how similar they were and how much she admired him and looked up to him. She even threw in a bit about his attractiveness and how much she thought they could both be happy together. At the end, she included a bit about how her sister had made a small mistake but it was nothing to dwell on, and that perhaps they should start courting immediately. She finished up the letter by saying that a marriage between them was a perfect match and that she would be forever grateful if he agreed and that she wouldn’t allow him to marry anyone else if he didn’t. She also mentioned how wonderful of a husband and father he would be, and said that even if he hadn’t had feelings for her before, this would certainly change things. She sealed the letter and sent it off, hoping for a response and even more so, the prince’s agreement.
During the next few days You had been smiling to herself seeing just how happy your sister Nerissa was about getting to be with Aemond, standing outside with your other sisters and mother as your father and Nerissa got ready to leave as you hugged your sister tightly before looking at her still fully unaware that the letter from Aemond was for in fact meant for you "I hope he sees just how lovely you are same as how he wrote." Nerissa was glowing with the anticipation that Aemond would soon be her husband. She embraced you and laughed, telling you how lucky she was. She was about to tell you everything that she had been hiding and about her plans to marry the prince but decided that the surprise would be even more sweet. She got in the carriage next to her father and smiled at you, thanking you once more for allowing her to fulfill her life long dream. Soon after Nerissa and her father arrived in King’s landing which caused her excitement to sky rocket especially since she could see the Targaryen/Hightower family standing outside, stepping out after her father as Alicent greeted her kindly before she looked to Aemond only to see the confusion on his face since he didn't see you anywhere even as Nerissa smiled at him speaking with the sweetest tone she could muster due to her nerves "Hello prince Aemond I hope we can become close before the wedding." Aemond was shocked and taken aback. He knew that his letter had been intended for another, but he didn’t think one of your sisters would appear before him as he had been excitedly waiting to see you. But he did know one thing. The woman in front of him was not the woman he had written that letter to. He was not interested in marrying Nerissa. Still, Aemond did not want to cause a scene and so he welcomed Nerssa into his home and offered her a drink, all while she still had no idea what was going on in his head.
Aemond decided to play along with Nerissa for the evening. He didn’t want to ruin the surprise and reveal that he had actually meant the letter for someone else more specifically you. He listened to her talk for a while, making conversation and even offering to play a game of cyvasse. His focus was on keeping the night light and cheerful while still trying to get to the bottom of why exactly she had replied to his letter. He would figure it out eventually, but for now, he could pretend things were alright.
Aemond tried to enjoy his night with Nerissa even when deep down he knew he was leading her on without trying too. But he couldn’t help but notice how much she had grown to resemble you. Her facial features were similar and her sweet smile was almost identical. It was almost as if Nerissa was imitating her sister, but he knew that couldn’t be true. Aemond’s mind was racing with possibilities for the rest of the night as Nerissa continued talking to him in her sweet voice. Nerissa continued to try and act like you since at least she knew your letter was meant for her older sister and not her even as much as she prayed to the gods you would like her better or even try to change your mind so you could instead wed her like she had been hoping for, taking a drink of the wine before she looked at the tall blonde as if she could envision what life could be like for the two of them and couldn't help herself as the words tumbled out of her mouth with a small slur due to the drinking "That letter you had sent was very sweet and romantic."
Aemond’s eyes widened as Nerissa’s words hit him. She knew the letter was meant for you and yet she had gone through with her plan especially since she had been acting like she was going to be his wife. Aemond was almost impressed by how bold she had been in her actions, but he was still upset that she had tricked him. He had no intention of marrying her and knew he had to find a way out of that situation. But he kept a smile on his face and thanked her for the compliment as he poured her another cup of wine. Nerissa felt her eyes widen at her own words and felt stupid for bringing it up but cleared her throat as she smiled that he didn't seem to notice or at least she thought he hadn't and hoped that would be the end of it, thanking him softly as he poured her some more wine even if she was curious as to why he seemed to keep her drinking only setting down her goblet when she felt the wine really start to kick in after she noticed it seemed like the room was spinning.
Aemond couldn’t help but take delight in seeing Nerissa’s cheeks flush as she drank the wine. He knew he needed to keep her drinking if he wanted to get her to say exactly what was going on, but he was starting to feel angry for her trying to use him in such a way as if the love he held for you was nothing. Still, if what he had suspected was true then Nerissa would have deceived him as well not just his family, and perhaps their conversation would provide the answers he was looking for. Aemond had been listening for some mention of the contents of the letter from Y/n but as the wine flowed and the hours passed, Nerissa became more and more intoxicated. As she began to slur her words more and her head became woozy, Aemond took notice. He decided to ask her directly about what he knew was happening. “My lady, I know that you received the letter that I had intended for your sister. Why is it that you kept that from me?” He asked, hoping to learn more.
Nerissa was blinking slowly as she processed his words before she started giggling feeling like she understood enough even in her state "Y/n didn't believe it was for her and she gave it to me, I've admired you and wanted to be your bride for so long that I just agreed with her besides why would you even want her?" She spoke carelessly as her hand lightly started fanning her face that had a flush. Aemond was shocked by Nerissa’s confession but she had confirmed his suspicions. You had given away the letter without thinking through the ramifications while Nerissa had taken the letter and pretended that she was the intended recipient, perhaps thinking that she would have a better chance with Aemond.
Aemond’s eyes narrowed at Nerissa’s words as her giggling filled the air. He couldn’t believe her about knowing it was intended for you his sweet love and attempting to marry him instead like it would cause no issue, and his anger began to boil over. He stood up and went over to Nerissa, grabbing her face and forcing her to look at him. “Why would I want you? I wrote that letter for Y/n and you knew it! What exactly do you think you are doing?!” Nerissa couldn't help that her lips pouted out once he roughly grabbed her face as she looked up at him "Because I'm better than she is and I'm going to be a better wife then Y/n could ever dream of being", Placing her hand on his wrist as she tried to stand up from her seat no matter how dizzy she was "Why do you even want her so badly anyways I could be so good for you more so then her."
Aemond’s eyes widened at Nerissa’s words. She actually believed that she could be better than you? The girl was delusional. Aemond’s grip on her face tightened as he stood over her. He was starting to become incredibly frustrated and angry at her stubbornness to stay with her plans. “No! You are lying to yourself and you know it. Y/n is beautiful and sweet and would make me a perfect wife. She is infinitely better than you.” Her words only infuriated Aemond even more. It was clear that Nerissa was not going to change her mind about the situation.“Why, oh why, would I want a wife like you when there are far better options!” He shouted at her, squeezing her more tightly. He had to find a way to get her to give up on her plans, and fast. He couldn’t have you marry someone else. It would devastate him even with him having stopped your previous almost marriages not wanting to see anyone else make you happy like he knew he could.
Aemond was livid at Nerissa’s words. He had no doubt that you would have been an incredible wife, but even if you weren’t, he would never marry Nerissa. It was true that she was rather beautiful but there was nothing about her that compared to you. “I already made it very clear who I intended the letter for! You knew that it was for her.” Aemond yelled, his hands growing tighter on Nerissa’s face. Nerissa tried to pull away from him once the pain started to settle in and she could actually feel it, shaking her head as she looked up at him with furrowed brows as she placed her hand on his chest and tried to push him away from her "No you didn't you never said a name only pet names and you have to admit we'd be perfect together just try to see that and you’ll see I’m better for you."
“You knew very well the letter was intended for Y/n and you intentionally fooled me!” Aemond yelled, still keeping a firm grip on Nerissa. “I don’t care if we would be perfect together. I care about what I want, and I want to marry my Y/n.” Aemond growled, the anger building up inside him. Nerissa closed her eyes tightly as she turned her head to the side hearing his voice grow louder in her ear as she couldn't pull away yet, still feeling the wine which caused her emotions to run higher as tears stung her eyes as she finally ripped herself away from him and glared up at him acting huffy as she spoke before she walked away "Too bad we're meant to marry soon enough and even when Y/n is here she won't choose you like I would."
Aemond wanted to go after her and forcefully drag her back to him just to scream and carry on. But he knew he couldn’t in this situation, at least not without making a scene in front of the rest of his family who wouldn’t understand since Nerissa seemed lovely to them. Instead, he decided to try another tactic. He sent word to you and asked you to come to him as quickly as possible. He had something very important to tell you. He sat back down in his seat and poured himself some more wine, hoping that you would arrive soon while his thoughts couldn’t seem to slow down ‘What if she was right and Y/n really would choose to marry someone else? Would he be stuck with Nerissa?’ He sat back and downed his entire cup of wine in one shot as he wrestled with the possibilities knowing everything he’s done this far just for you wouldn’t be done in vain.
During the next few days after he had sent a letter to you without telling anyone about it especially Nerissa who had become more sure of herself and her idea to marry him, Nerissa smiled to herself as she walked beside the blonde male through the gardens thinking he must've thought over her words and knew he would come around that she would be a much better fit for him even as she looked up at him "Isn't this nice my prince? Just imagine all the nice times we'll be spending together even when we have children of our own." She spoke happily at the thought of having your children and you being happy with her beside you.
Aemond listened to Nerissa talk about their future together and did not seem to mind it at first. But then Nerissa started talking about having children and suddenly, Aemond’s face turned cold as ice, he did not intend to have children with her and the very idea of her being pregnant with his own child made him feel sick to his stomach. He could not hide the disgust in his voice as he replied to her “I can see that you are very excited to marry me, my lady. But I must remind you that our marriage has not yet been approved.” He spoke as he kept his eye off of her not even wanting to look at her as he held his arms behind his back not attempting to hold her close since he saw it as wrong since it wasn’t you.
Nerissa pouted at his words but tried to take his hand regardless as if she was sure she would get to marry him, you looked around once you stepped out of the carriage having only come over when she got a letter from Aemond claiming he needed you for something desperately, letting a servant lead the way toward the gardens as you smiled seeing your sister not knowing of anything that was going on between Aemond and Nerissa especially the night before, you curtsied toward the prince as you spoke kindly thinking you would just be there for support or even helping plan the wedding "Nerissa and Prince Aemond." Aemond looked beyond his “betrothed” and took notice of you standing there breathtakingly beautiful as ever. You had always been the person he wanted to marry in the first place and now that he knew his wish could still come true, he did his best to keep his anger as hidden as possible, you were more radiant than he remembered and your sweet voice sent chills up and down his spine “Lady Y/n.” Aemond said, bowing before you as he extended his hands towards you as if he wished to embrace and kiss you much like each time he was around you.
Nerissa noticed the certain crazed look in Aemond’s eye once he caught sight of her sister and felt annoyed that she no longer held his attention as she now pouted while crossing her arms over her chest even if she figured it'd be back on her soon enough, taking a small step closer as you gently placed your hands in his larger ones as you looked up at him and slightly tilted your head hoping to get more information "I got your letter stating you needed my presence?". Aemond kept his attention towards you as he grabbed your hands and kissed them lovingly looking at you as if you hung the sun, moon, and stars just for him. “Yes, my lady. Thank you for coming.” Aemond looked at you with a smile as he remembered how much he had craved you before Nerissa had gotten in the picture thinking she had a chance. Now, he would finally get the chance to make you his wife “Come, I wish to speak with you.” Aemond led you away from Nerissa not even speaking to her anymore nor did he want to give you a moment alone with her knowing she would twist the story and ruin this for him, his hand gently brushing against yours as he walked with you. You nodded your head as you looked down at the ground feeling shy and flustered because of the soft affection he was showing you even if you tried to act natural since she wasn’t meant to marry you, nodding your head once more thinking this must have something to do with your sister Nerissa but thought it only to be something good as you followed along until far enough away from your sister as you looked up at him "You didn't say much in your letter other then there had been a misunderstanding of some kind." Aemond took a deep breath before finally coming clean with you. “My lady, when I sent that letter, I fully intended it to go to you.” Aemond held your hands more firmly in his and looked you in the eye feeling as if he could get lost in the beauty that wwas your eye color “Your sister Nerissa stole it and read it. Knowing that it was intended for you, she decided to use it to her advantage and tricked me into agreeing to marry her instead.”
Aemond was waiting for your reaction, eager to see how you would respond as he explained things thinking you would just as angry as him since he figured you loved him just as much as he loved you “I know that I agreed to marry Nerissa, but she was not meant to receive that letter. She stole it and tricked me into giving her my affections. I do not love her like I do you, my lady. Please, I still want us to be together.” Aemond’s eyes looked into yours as he continued to speak and he begged that you would understand his perspective and help him get out of the situation with Nerissa. You had never noticed how crazy he was over you or how often things would fall through due to his hand having played a part in it like how you could've married sooner but something going wrong each time, looking into his violet eye as you listened to him before you tilted your head at how he made it sound like you and he were together not able to help looking at him confused "I apologize my prince but I don't believe I understand,"
Aemond could see your confusion which caused him to smile at you thinking you were the cutest but also how much you needed him to look out for and protect you and decided to explain things even further as he realized how much you truly didn’t know or understand “When I sent the letter originally, it was meant for you. I thought that you and I were going to be married, so I made a mistake in being so vague that it could have been addressed to anyone.” Aemond shook his head as he took a step closer to you, his hands resting on your hips as he looked at you with his piercing eyes. “But I never wanted to marry anyone but you.”
You slowly nodded your head in understanding as you tried your best to keep up with the words he was telling you even if it wasn’t the full story, still fully in the dark about how “in love” with you he was as you gave him a gentle smile and shook your head thinking this was nothing and that it might just pass "But I'm not much special unlike my sisters I'm sure you'll have a nice life with Nerissa, besides why would you even write such a detailed letter to me? especially with such...detailed intimate things of what'd you would do give the chance." Aemond watched as you shook your head in confusion, his eyes growing wider as he wondered how you could be so oblivious to how crazy in love with you he was. He couldn't believe that you didn't realize just how much he cared for and longed for you. And you clearly didn't understand just how far he would go to have you in his arms once again.
Aemond’s hands went to your face as he brought you closer to himself as he felt something inside of him snap. You truly didn’t understand the depth of the feelings that Aemond had for you. He could not marry your sister, not when he had been obsessed with you for as long as he could remember. “I don’t want a nice life with Nerissa. She stole a letter from you and tricked me into courting her, and I don’t want her at all. My lady, I must be frank with you. I have never wished to marry any other woman than you. And I would do whatever is necessary for us to be together. Please. You need to understand how much I crave you. You have been what I long for with every breath I take. I desire you above all else. I need you above all else.”
Aemond put his hands on the back of your head as he tilted it up towards him before he kissed you passionately. His hands moved to your hair as he pulled you closer not caring if Nerissa or anybody else saw him be passionate with you before he broke the kiss and placed his hand on your cheek. “I can’t live without you, my lady. You need to be mine.” You couldn't understand what you were feeling as you listened to him talk as if you were the very air he was breathing and shook your head again trying to deny what he was saying, only to gasp softly once you felt his lips on your own then panted softly when he pulled away again as you held onto his clothes in between your fingers not used to such affections and shook your head as you tried to think of a way to gently let him down "I'm sorry I caused this mess for you but...I truly believe you'll be happier with Nerissa beside you rather then I.”
Aemond shook his head as he felt you try and break away from him. He pulled you close once more and spoke softly to you acting as if your sister was no longer there which she wouldn’t be soon enough if she didn’t stop her shenanigans. “You’re not listening, Y/n.” Aemond grabbed you by the arms firmly as he looked into your eyes. “You need to listen to me. You were not the cause of this mess. Nerissa is at fault here, and you could not have done anything to prevent it. You need to realize the truth, you are the one I need by my side.” Aemond couldn’t believe that you were still trying to deny him of your love when he knew you could be so much more happier with him. He had to make you see the error of your ways and that he was the right choice for you. “No. I can’t be happy with Nerissa. I never loved her, and I never will. I only ever meant to be with you.” Aemond leaned in for another kiss as he once more kissed you sweetly. When he pulled back, he stared deeply into your eyes once more as he whispered to you.
“You belong to me, no one else.”

Something I’m in the middle of writing !!!
Word Count: 1175!!
Warnings: Still proofreading so maybe some mistakes! Also my first Wizarding world fic so its probably not accurate ._. This also will be a smut but I’m just plot building :))
Oh!!! And seizure warning!!
Birdie looks herself in the mirror for the fourth time. Was her dress too short, too tight? She can't breathe, so she loosens her ribbons...for the third time. Maybe a muggle designer wasn't the brightest idea, but it's too late. Birdie can feel her friends, Nerissa and Imogene, growing impatient waiting outside in the Slytherin common room. They never have troubles getting dressed for these types of things. They're the exact same body type, if it looks good on one of them it'll surely look good on the other.
Birdie looks one more time. A green plaid slip dress, and shiny Mary Jane platforms  Final decision.
Birdie takes a swig of the smuggled in firewhisky as her and her fellow Slytherins make their way to the Gryffindor common room. The burn is dreadful but nostalgic nonetheless.
Birdie listens to her friend's talk but doesn't give them a second thought. She feels guilty of course. She had ignored their letters all summer holiday scared they would've known what she was up to. Scared they knew what her Mother had done. She didn't even sit with them during the sorting ceremony. In fact, she hid in the toilets when the food had come out. But they found her and cornered her asking if they had done something wrong. She denied it and just blamed it on an upset tummy.
Someone in the front of the line of students does the secret knock making the fat lady creek open. The students move through the silenced, glowing green, stone tunnel into the common room full of students. Birdie takes another swig of the fire whiskey before it's swiped by Imogene.
"Pace yourself Birdie." Nerissa says as they find their designated corner to stand in. Imogene throws her sandy Blonde hair behind her tiny shoulders before taking a hefty sip. She screws her face as the burn leaves her throat.
"Fuck's sake Birdie! They weren't kidding when they named this shit." Imogene rasps out. The three girls laugh before taking more tiny sips each.
Birdie floats towards the dance crowd as muggle hip hop blares through the speakers, her friends following closely behind her. Birdie throws her arms up along with the firewhiskey as she yells along to the lyrics of Rump Shaker. Birdie shakes her ass to the beat and occasionally drops to the floor as she's sandwiched between the two girls.
The crowd cheers as the song ends. Birdie opens her eyes that she hadn't realized were shut tight. The room spins beneath her feet as she makes her way towards a group of people sitting on the floor in a circle.
"What is this? huh, some kind of prayer circle?" Birdie snorts out. Birdie hates being seen as a mean girl but it's what people expect from her.
"It's kiss or drink." A gravelly voice from below her says. Birdie looks down at the familiar voice that she usually has great talent in ignoring to see none other than Fred Weasley staring back at her. He smiles up at her before blowing out the smoke from the joint he held between his lips. "We'd ask you to join us, but I'm sure you wouldn't want to tarnish that niminy-piminy attitude you keep up."
Birdie's jaw dropped. Her first thought is to take her bottle she has clenched in her hand and smash it against his head. But instead she sits where she stood inbetween Fred and some nobody sixth year. She keeps her eyes straight ahead ignoring the stares coming from the rest of the group.
Hannah Abbot, a geeky blonde girl leans forward and spins the green translucent bottle that sits in the middle of the circle. The groups hoops and howls as it lands on Neville Longbottom. Hannah giggles as she crawls across the circle closer to Neville before feverishly locking lips with him. Birdie bites her tongue trying desperately not to gag at the sight of the spit string between them as they part. Neville spins the bottle awkwardly fast.
Birdie takes the last swig of her fire whiskey instantly regretting it for it finally sent her over the tipsy versus drunk threshold. She wipes the dribble from her mouth before putting the bottle down between her thighs. She looks at the bottle in the middle to see who it landed on and it's of course her. Birdie looks up to see Neville moving towards her slowly.
"Take the drink Longbottom." Birdie says through her teeth. Neville nods defeatedly before throwing a shot from the bottle back. Birdie rolls her eyes before clumsily leaning in to spin the bottle. She looks around the circle to see if there's anyone worthy enough to kiss but sees no one she actually cares to kiss. Which works out for her for the bottle lands on herself.
"Well I can't kiss myself." Birdie picks up her shot.
"It's on Freddie." George cheekily says. "You have to kiss Freddie!" Birdie looks back down at the bottle. Certainly it's slightly pointed to the left, straight at Fred.
"Just let her take the shot! I told you she's too priggish to kiss anyone here." Fred sneers. Birdie slams her shot glass down and gets on her knees. She throws her arm around Fred's neck and the other hand on his cheek. Pushing him closer to her face until their lips finally meet. Soft and innocent first until Fred dips deeper snaking his arm around her body pulling her closer and slipping his tongue against hers.
Birdie breaks first scooting back on her knees leaving Fred's body cold next to her. She takes the joint from his hand whilst standing and stumbling away to find her friends, leaving the the small circle speechless
"Well" George says breaking the silence. "I don't know how we could continue after that."
Birdie finds her friends in the corner with their arms crossed staring back at her. She takes a hit of the joint and offers it to her friends in which they partake.
"What the hell was that shit, Missulena?" Nerissa says blowing the smoke into the air.
"It was hot!" Imogene says. Birdie shrugs lazily.
"She's pissed. We should get back to the dorms before she gets sick." Nerissa says gesturing them towards the door.
Birdie follows behind her friends before feeling a sharp pain it the middle of her forehead. She shakes off the pain before searching for her friends in the crowd. Birdie stumbles forward but before she could catch her balance she feels her legs give out beneath her making her fall straight on her back. Her arms become stiff against the sides of her sides as her back arch towards the ceiling. Birdie's eyes rolls eerily to the back of her head as her gaped mouth lets out a ghostly howl.
Nerissa and Imogene push pass through the crowd surrounding as Birdie's body rattles violently against the old rug beneath her body. Birdie looks up at her friends through her tear filled eyes. Until her eyes finally closed.

so we all voted for mister w.i.t.c.h. 2023 and cedric got his long felt needed revenge, and now it seems strange not to have a MISS W.I.T.C.H. ELECTION as well, so let’s do it!
now this is NOT a shipping game and you should vote irrespective of the other poll, BUT since i have to sponsor someone and cedric won the other poll may i remind you that orube is among the nominees
i know i left out notable ladies like yua, halinor, kadma, cassidy, elyon’s mother, MS RUDOLPH… please use the bonus vote and express your preference in the tags!
no before you ask phobos is not eligible as miss w.i.t.c.h. because otherwise there would be no fair competition, he plays on a league of his own
aaaand please reblog for bigger sample size!
also just a little disclaimer for my own peace of mind which i forgot in the other poll - we all know that the w.i.t.c.h. girls are minors (just like some of the boys in the other poll were), but i could not leave them (or the boys) out of the vote. use common sense and vote for whoever you think is the aesthetically best designed female character, don’t be a creep!

The Blackthorns are the true masterminds fr
ANDREW — started it getting with Lady Nerissa (not just some common fair folk, but a high fae lady of the courts!!!) And having Helen and Mark who on their own could be high members of the court if they chose to (they’re shadowhunters of course but the potential is there)
HELEN — Is in contact with Nene and possibly some of her other cousins. Leads the LA institute, yes but she could become a Lady of the Courts if she chose to
MARK — On his own Mark has the support of the Wild Hunt on his side and he could be a member of the Seelie Court if he wanted to. Then he also has The King of the Unseelie Court who would do anything for him (and Cristina ofc)!! And then of course the Rosales connection and they can come and go from Faerie as they please.
JULIAN — you may be like Julian isn’t part faerie or in love with one BUT my man tricked the Seelie Queen AND he is with the wielded of Cortana (which can break the most ancient faerie blade!!!)
TY — obvi,, Kit would literally do anything for him and once Kit realizes the full extent of his powers, I have no doubt he’ll be unstoppable. The First Heir (whether Kit likes it or not) has immense influence over faerie. But also Ty on his own is def a threat, he’s incredibly smart and fast and willing to do what needs to be done.
DRU — I have no doubt that our Prince of the Seelie Court will be down bad for Dru. Will do anything for her. Also she has her own strength combined with the influence of all her older siblings, she is a menace. I have no doubt she can navigate faerie. Not to mention she and Ty both have immunity in the Unseelie Court bc Kieran wouldn’t let anything happen to Mark’s siblings.
TAVVY — tbd but He’s def gonna follow after his older siblings,, he doesn’t wanna be left out. Plus he is raised by Julian and Helen. And he could prob travel all throughout faerie by the time he comes of age and be protected bc that’s the youngest Blackthorn that no one can touch
In conclusion the Blackthorns have a monopoly on Faerie so no matter what ends up happening in TWP they come out on top

This is the start of a one-shot for @nixdragon. It contains an OC from The Prayer that will be introduced later. Her name is Jourdynne and she is paired with Gwaine.
Tumblr media
With her lady preoccupied, Jourdynne took the time to wander about the forests of Camelot.  A bit of fresh air always seemed just the cure to whatever ailed her.  Not that she truly had much that ailed her.  The biggest thorn in her flesh wasn’t a what, but rather a who. And a rather large who at that.
There were times when Jourdynne missed her life in Gaeafel.  Things there had seemed much . . . simpler.  Her lot in life never in doubt.  Life in Camelot was much more . . . complicated.  She didn’t regret her position in Camelot.  In fact, she rather enjoyed life away from the sea principality.  Well, aside from that dratted thorn in her flesh.
Truth be told, Jourdynne wasn’t sure what to think of him.  Yes, it most certainly was a him.  A tall, handsome, brave, and witty him.  A him who seemed relentless in his desire to court her.  But it just wasn’t done.  A lowly ladies maid and a dashing knight? Unheard of.  But Gwaine just wouldn’t seem to accept her rejections.  Rather, it was as if he saw each rejection as a challenge.
Perhaps it would be best to simply let him believe she relented and then avoid him at all costs.  But Jourdynne had a sneaking suspicion that Princess Nerissa whole-heartedly approved of the match.  And therefore with the princesses approval, thus gained that of the prince.  Drat it all.
So, lost in thought, Jourdynne nearly missed the sound of twigs snapping and leaves crunching in the distance.  From the pocket slit in her skirt, Jourdynne reached for the sgian-dubh strapped to her thigh.  It wasn’t usual for a woman to know how to handle weapons, but that was one way life in Gaeafel had differed from everywhere else.  Girls were trained to know how to defend themselves.  Jourdynne had many weapons hidden upon her person.
Jourdynne stopped for a moment and listened.  The snapping and crunching noises seemed to have stopped.  She narrowed her eyes and glanced around at her surroundings.  Twirling the sgian-dubh in one hand she shouted, “I’ll have you know I’m not afraid to defend myself.”
Silence.
She rolled her eyes in annoyance. “You should also know that I’m Princess Nerissa’s ladies maid and should something happen to me, you’ll likely face Camelot’s wrath.”
Still more silence.  Jourdynne turned to look behind her only to find a rather tall figure draped in a red cloak standing directly behind her.  How hadn’t she heard their approach?  She glanced up to see who it was that had followed her.
Jourdynne rolled her eyes and gave the knight a shove with her weapon-free hand. “I could have killed you!” she hissed.
“You look rather pretty all riled up like that,” Gwaine teased her, hardly budging from her shove.
She glanced at him rather incredulously.
He continued. “I mean it.  You’re beautiful enough in your own right.  But seeing you like that . . .”
Jourdynne shoved him once more for good measure and to keep him from finishing his statement. “What do you think you’re doing sneaking up on me like that?”
Gwaine shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, but the grin on his face told her otherwise.
“You’re the most insufferable man of my acquaintance,” Jourdynne retorted, shaking her sgian-dubh at him, for it wouldn’t be proper to return the blade to its rightful place with him able to witness the event.
“An honor I shall wear proudly,” Gwaine responded with a slight bow.
Her eyes widened in horror. “It’s certainly not an honor, I assure you.”
“Is there another man more insufferable than myself?” Gwaine paused and then grinned at her when she didn’t respond.  “Seems not, so it is certainly a badge of honor.  For you have never bestowed such a grace upon me before.”
He bowed once more and Jourdynne rolled her eyes at him before drew his sword from its scabbard while he was distracted.  Gwaine seemed to stiffen slightly before he stood upright to find Jourdynne directing his sword and her sgian-dubh in his direction.  He grinned once more.
“Do you truly have a death wish?” Jourdynne scoffed at him.
His wicked grin widened as he stepped toward her with his arms stretched wide. “I’d gladly allow you to be the death of me.  Although, there are much more pleasurable ways you could see to my demise.”
“There is something seriously wrong with you.”
“Aye,” he laughed, stopping just short of his blade that she wielded. “You.”

Tumblr media
He's laughing at her! Dude, get off her back i am barely keeping her alive here
Tumblr media
Everyone is excited for the baby
Tumblr media
They spent so long out here
Tumblr media
She's fucking fine. The game is such a drama queen
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh it's happeningg
Tumblr media
And there she is! Little Nerissa Gossamer. I gave her Oberon's last name because i like keeping different last names around. I am going to change their eye colours and give them different rare ones to really lay into that elf-fey thing they have going on
Tumblr media
Aww, they are cheering for the baby it's so cute
Tumblr media
Oberon is such a good dad
Tumblr media
uhm... what? hmm maybe. Let's see how Nerissa turns out and I might get you guys to bone with purpose again. I also plan on giving them longer lifespans because fey creatures.
Tumblr media
Anyways back to Puck since he's not working he has time to get out of the house but it is slim pickings at the arcade
Tumblr media
So we're back at the house and Titania is feeding little Nerissa
Tumblr media
They rarely have time or skill to cook in this house
Tumblr media
oh cool cool. They can use the money. I have been trying to fix the many weird things in this house. I know it's supposed to be a theatre and a stage and it's a Shakespeare reference etc. It is a bloody nightmare living in this house
Tumblr media
sooo, Puck had a wish to throw a party and I said cool let's do it. And Beatrice just came and kissed him! Stole his first kiss just like that!
Tumblr media
And then Miranda came and finally got that 1st kiss. You guys remember the kiss I tried so hard to get her in their round. All this time she was just waiting for Puck xD
Tumblr media
And then Hermia came to hold hands with Puck. Girl, up your game. This boy just stole the first kisses of two other ladies.
Tumblr media
It looks like he's going to steal more
Tumblr media
just look at all those kiss memories xD I'd like to point out even though he and Hermia have crushes they haven't kissed. They don't have great chemistry either

I guess since I'm doing this OC thing I'm going all out so I answered some OC questions I found (One Piece OCs)
here here here here here here
I ended up picking only the questions that fit in their "universe", so there's bits and pieces from all of these questionaires.
How did you come up with the OC’s name? Neri: When I was young there was an australian show about a girl living in the ocean and her name was Neri. I took that and assuming it comes from Nerissa, it's the name of a nymph. Then I took the name Sirena from the Mako Mermaids show and her last name Kaiyo means ocean/sea Kaiyo Neri Sirena therefore sounds like a good name for a mermaid.^^ Niara: I wanted mostly names that could be associated with the ocean since this is a pirate show. Kaito means "the one flying over the sea" and Niara means "bright, clear water". Azura: Nagisa means seashore and Azura means sky blue. Cordelia: Cordelia means daughter of the sea. Yes, I looked up possible ocean themed names for all of them. Lady X and Lady Y don't have names yet. Lady X was called Vilandra in the first draft but I really don't like it. If she ever gets a name, I want it to be a longer one and kind of mysterious sounding... How old are they? (Or approximate age range) Neri: 18 Niara: 18 Azura: 30 Cordelia: 24 Lady X: no age yet but she would be the oldest Lady Y: maybe early twenties?
Do they have any love interest(s)? Neri: Zoro Niara: Law Azura: undefined Cordelia: undefined Lady X: maybe? Lady Y: maybe?
What do they do best? Neri: swimming Niara: generally just having fun with whatever she does Azura: sword fighting Cordelia: flirting, rolling her eyes, sarcasmn Lady X: telling the future Lady Y: I want her to either have a really cool power no one sees coming or a really cool fighting style
What do they hate to do? Neri: Wearing shoes Niara: cleaning, following the rules Azura: wearing cheap clothes, cheap jewelry and cheap everything and being in dirty, messy surroundings Cordelia: dealing with Buggy the Clown (she came across him in one of the stories my friend and I wrote and she did not enjoy it!) Lady X: knowing something bad would happen and not being able to stop it Lady Y: no answer yet
What is one of your OC’s worst memories? Neri: losing her entire family Niara: being forced to join the navy and then leaving her entire family behind to pursue her own dreams of freedom Azura: her parents being killed Cordelia: living in the streets as a kid on her own both Lady X and Lady Y have sad backstories too but they are not developed that much yet
Is their current design the first one? Neri: I think she had green eyes at first but then I decided on brown eyes. Actually, I couldn't decide on a design forever. Niara: Her hair is still long but not as way too long as it was in the first draft. Her hair went from ordinary brown to a lighter/slightly reddish maybe version (but still brown overall) and the newest addition are her freckles. Azura: Pretty much kept her design. Cordelia: Also kept her design. Lady X: I think she was a blonde at first. Black hair was also considered, then white, then grey, now it's maybe a really really pale blonde/maybe pale grey/white... idk something very pale though Lady Y: was still a blonde yesterday, now I'm thinking oooh but I have every haircolor now except red... xD Also, recently I accidentally added a scar on one of her picrews, so now I want her to have scars?
How many sibling does your OC have? Neri: it is mentioned that she had quite a few siblings since I image that fish people clans are quite big? She did not grew up on Fishman Island (because she was created before I started to read the Manga), so this probably was a separate community in the East Blue (where she met the Strawhats after being the only survivor after humans captured her entire family) Niara: I initially started with four or five but reduced them to three later on. At some point, Rear Admiral Hina was turned into an older sister of Niara XD Azura: She's an only child Cordelia: unknown since she doesn't remember anything and was found wandering around on her own, stealing from people as a kid Lady X: unknown, probably an only child Lady Y: unknown
What is the OC’s relationship w/their parents like? Neri: I imagine her bond with her parents was very close. Niara: She was close with her late mother but does not have a good relationship with her father at all. It didn't take him long to put a bounty on her head when he learned that she had become a pirate. Azura: she was close with her parents Cordelia: unknown Lady X: unknown Lady Y: unknown
Do you ever see yourself killing off the OC? Honestly, I never want to kill my OCs. The only one I could see dying is Lady X for noble reasons but it's highly unlikely that I will end up actually killing a character of mine
has there been any part of having this oc (designing, writing, drawing, etc...) that was difficult? Neri: she was the first One Piece OC so creating her was the hardest. I just didn't feel anything was right for her. Until bamm, all the puzzle pieces just fit. Niara: actually, she was the easiest Azura and Cordelia: not many problems Lady X: she hasn't even gotten a name yet Lady Y: she hasn't gotten a name or much of anything else really so...
Nickname? Neri: Nixie, although nobody called her that so far Niara: Nia, Nini Azura: - Cordelia: Cordy Lady X: lol she's not even named yet Lady Y: same here^^
Devil fruit power? Neri: - Niara: plant fruit Azura: - Cordelia: can create barriers Lady X: I might change that but so far her power is not a devil fruit power Lady Y: undecided
Biggest goal in life? Neri: she just wants to be happy with her friends (who are her new family) and never wants them to be apart from each other for long Niara: to have adventures and see the world and be free Azura: to see the world government burn Cordelia: to figure out her own past Lady X: something to do with the future/secrets of the past perhaps Lady Y: undecided
What was your OC's childhood dream? Is that still their dream? Neri: to see the human world (she lives in it now but still has to much to see and experience) Niara: to be free and have adventures (she does that now but there's still so much to see and do) Azura: to be rich and powerful (those ambitions killed her parents, now she just wants to take those down who killed them) Cordelia: honestly, she was just trying to survive another day (now she wants to find out where she came from) Lady X: to be "normal" (now she embraces being different for the sake of a higher calling - and she would want to save the world - or maybe she's selfish and just want to see the ones she loves being safe) Lady Y: undecided
Were there expectations placed on your OC when they were growing up? Have they lived up to those expectations? Neri: stay away from humans (she failed...) Niara: join the navy and make a name for yourself, have a successful career and take down many pirates (she failed) Azura: marry rich and live a wealthy life (failed) Cordelia: she had no one when she was little Lady X: people were hoping to gain something from her powers, so she ran the first chance she got (another fail) Lady Y: undecided but will be a fail also

*Newspaper article on the Davy Jones Gazette*:
"Duke Vephar Brutally Slain by Mysterious Assassin in The Night"
In a shocking turn of events, Duke Vephar, a prominent and highly revered member of the Ars Goetia demon family, was brutally murdered in the dead of night. The fiendish aristocrat, known for his influence and power within the underworld, fell victim to an unknown assailant who wielded an angelic blade, leaving the Ars Goetia family reeling with disbelief and fear.
Duke Vephar, renowned for his cunning intellect and formidable strength, held a position of great importance among the demon hierarchy. His sudden and violent demise has sent shockwaves throughout the infernal realm, raising questions about the stability and security of demonkind.
The circumstances surrounding Duke Vephar's murder remain shrouded in mystery. Two servants inside the palace report hearing the distinct sound of a rattlesnake tail coming from their master's bedroom before the deadly attack occurred. The use of an angelic blade has fueled speculation and fear among demons.
Authorities within the Envy ring have launched a full-scale investigation into the heinous crime, but progress has been slow as they struggle to identify any leads or suspects. The lack of tangible evidence has only deepened the sense of unease and paranoia gripping the underworld.
As the investigation into Duke Vephar's murder continues, demons across the infernal domain remain on edge, wary of the lurking danger that now threatens their once-secure existence. The brutal slaying of such a revered figure serves as a chilling reminder that even the most powerful among them are not immune to the perils that lurk in the shadows of Hell.
Duke Vephar, husband to Lady Nerissa and father of two children (Calypso and Nireus), commanded twenty-nine legions of demons, wielding authority over the vast expanse of the waters and the ominous depths below.
Great Duke Vephar's dominion over the seas was legendary, his influence extending far and wide as he guided armoured ships laden with ammunition and weapons through treacherous waters. With a mere gesture, he could transform calm seas into a maelstrom of fury, conjuring storms that would strike fear into the hearts of even the bravest sailors.Yet, amidst his powers of destruction and chaos, Vephar possessed the ability to inflict agonizing torment upon mortal flesh.
With a mere whisper, he could sentence humans to a gruesome fate, causing putrefying sores and wounds to fester and breed with writhing worms, ensuring a slow and agonizing demise that stretched over three harrowing days.
Indeed, the passing of Great Duke Vepar leaves a void in the infernal realm that will be felt deeply by all who knew of his power and influence.
He will be missed.

“I Won’t Say I’m In Love...With Her”
Tumblr media
Summary: Aemond is still over you or the fact he’s supposed to marry your sister, trying to be ever the gentleman toward Nerissa until he caves to his true desires and attempts once more on making you his

A/n: Part 2 of What’s The Meaning Of This
Aemond could not stop thinking about you. His world felt like it was crashing around him without you beside him. Aemond had been spending most of his time in his room, unable to sleep and hardly eating. His thoughts would wander to you often, imagining what it would be like if you were his wife and how different things would be. He had loved you for so long and had finally lost you, and he knew that your choice to have him marry Nerissa would only lead to more heartbreak for himself. Aemond’s days were spent wallowing in his grief and his nights were spent dreaming of you. He couldn’t bear to be apart from you anymore. One night, after spending hours imagining what it would be like to hold you in his arms, he made a decision. Aemond had to be with you, even if it meant doing something drastic. He knew what he had to do, in order to be with the person he truly loved.
Nerissa had been going around once home with you about how well everything went and how excited she was to marry the prince, you continued go about your business thinking all would be well once he actually married your sister but didn't know he was still planning on trying to win you over and talk this out since your family wasn't listening thinking that Nerissa was a good match for him. Aemond had hoped that Nerissa’s constant bragging of their future marriage would make you see just how wrong your decision was. It was clear that Nerissa did not deserve to marry Aemond and he wanted nothing more than to make that clear to everyone. The last thing he wanted to do was go to your home and try to sort this out with Nerissa, but he knew there was no other choice. He arrived at your family home and knocked loudly on the front door.
Clara the maid had been busy cleaning before she opened the door and froze in her spot seeing the tall prince wondering why the king's son was here or if he had chosen to wed Nerissa like the young girl had claimed, snapping out of it as she quickly bowed to him and allowed him to come in to the home as she lightly tilted her head "Your majesty how can I help you?". Nerissa was in her chambers brushing her hair as you were outside in your small favorite hiding area since you were a child where you could simply be by yourself without thinking too much. As Aemond entered the home, he noticed Clara. He was well aware that she knew of the arrangement between Nerissa and him that he wished to break. He hoped to convince you to change your mind, but he knew the odds were against him. He would have to use a more delicate approach to win you back.“I wish to speak with Lady Y/n. Will you please call her for me?” Aemond made sure to be polite with Clara, as he didn’t wish for her to tell Nerissa about his visit.
Clara gave a small smile as she shook her head answering him "She's not in at the moment, but Lady Nerissa is", Not getting the chance to alert anyone since Nerissa and the parents were talking as they walked before Nerissa saw Aemond and happily walked over to him as she wrapped her arms around his tall frame and kissed his cheek not noticing him pulling away "Hello my darling missed me?". Aemond was not expecting Nerissa to be the first person he saw as he entered the house. He quickly regained his composure as he pulled himself away from her. He put a hand on Nerissa’s shoulder and tried to give her a polite smile as he replied to her question.“Good afternoon, Nerissa. As a matter of fact, I have been missing you.” It was a lie, but there was no need to hurt Nerissa’s feelings.“May I have a word with you in private?”.
Nerissa grinned at the words as she truly thought he must have come around to the idea of marrying her and living life with her beside him, nodding her head as she heard her parents speak up about having a chaperone with them both as they chose Clara to follow after them both. Nerissa took Aemond’s hand in her own as she started walking with him outside still smiling as Clara followed behind both quietly feeling awful since she could see what Nerissa didn't want to. Aemond walked with Nerissa as Clara silently followed behind. He knew that Nerissa was expecting him to be her future husband, and he didn’t want to ruin that image of him for her. But, he wished to convince her of the truth, in order to be with you. When they both eventually came to stop, Aemond took Nerissa’s hands and looked at her with his violet eyes.“Nerissa, there’s something important I need to tell you.”
Nerissa continued to hold his hands not used to there being so much quiet that she didn't seem to like but smiled as she stood up straight hearing his words, looking down as he took her hands and felt special before she looked back up at him as she nodded her head curiously as to what he needed to speak of "Is this about the bedding ceremony? I'm sure it'll be fine darling....And if it's about if I've been with anyone I haven't but I'm happy it'll be you." The words Nerissa spoke were nothing more than a hammer hitting Aemond with its full force. He felt his heart sink at her words and felt the urge to tell her the truth. But he couldn’t do that to her. He would have to play along.“We aren’t speaking about the bedding ceremony. I just wanted to ask you about the letters we had been sending each other.”Aemond stared into Nerissa’s eye, trying his best to hide his sadness and contempt towards the arrangement of their marriage.
Nerissa brightened at his words as she laced their fingers together feeling excited that he seemed to like her better now, nodding her head in understanding before she tilted her head having pushed away any thoughts about feeling bad that now she had Aemond even if at first he had wanted you but gave him a sweet smile "What about them darling?". Aemond looked down at the interlocked fingers and tried his best to keep up with Nerissa’s excitement. But, no matter how much he tried, he simply could not ignore his true feelings. He knew that he did not want this, but he also knew that he needed to keep up the guise in order for him to achieve his goals with you. “I just wanted to know why you stole my letters. I wrote those to Lady Y/n, not you.”
Nerissa rolled her eyes as her smile dropped before she pulled her hand away from his, crossing her arms over her chest, she looked up at him shaking her head gently before she spoke no longer holding excitement in her tone "Aemond I thought we were over that? You have me now, you do not need my sister now be happy about this, otherwise I'll make Y/n never comes near you again." Aemond could feel his temper flare as Nerissa spoke to him so condescendingly. This woman was so delusional and thought that she was the one for Aemond, when in fact it was you who he wanted. Aemond didn’t know how to hide his frustration at that moment and could only stare back at her with a cold expression on his face. Aemond was taken aback by the sudden shift in Nerissa’s behavior, and he wasn’t sure why she was being so harsh towards him all of a sudden. He decided to ignore her words for now and continue to play along with the deception. “Nerissa, you do understand that I intended to marry Y/n, but I am happy. I just did not think we needed to rush things like our marriage.” This was all a lie, but Aemond hoped Nerissa would believe that he still cared about her. Nerissa continued to stare up at Aemond as her eyes narrowed while she took in the words letting them process, slowly nodding her head before smiling once more as she wrapped her arms around his and leaned in close to him before she looked up again "I suppose your right, this will be a grand affair it does need to be perfect." Leaning up as she kissed his cheek "But bring up Y/n or changing your mind and I'll make sure Y/n knows what kind of man you are" She spoke sweetly as if seeing no problem with her words but gently started dragging him back to her family house.
Aemond didn’t like what Nerissa had threatened to do if he brought up you again or refused to marry her, but he continued to play along with the arrangement as they walked towards the family house. He hoped to be able to convince you of his true feelings for you, but with Nerissa’s threat, that plan was in jeopardy. As they walked, Aemond tried not to think about all that had happened, and instead chose to focus on his current situation. Nerissa continued on walking before going and telling a servant to set up a room for the prince for the night, knowing it would be scandalous if he shared a room with her even if that's what she truly wanted she knew soon enough such things wouldn't matter. Clara was cleaning once back inside before looking over as she noticed Nerissa leaving and slowly walked over to Aemond giving him another bow before she looked up and spoke quietly "My prince I do apologize for how things happened, Y/n didn't believe your first letter was for her but I should've spoken up sooner. If you do wish to speak with Y/n she went out to her favorite spot just outside where the trees are it's hidden but she should still be there."
Aemond felt his heart sink as Nerissa left and as he turned towards Clara. She was trying to help him, but he worried that Nerissa would find out. But he knew that it was important for him to speak with you, and he didn’t have many options to find you. He nodded towards Clara and spoke as quietly as he could. “Thank you, Clara; I appreciate the information.” Aemond made his way outside to the small clearing where you liked to spend time. Clara gave him a small smile as she nodded her head happy to help and try to make things better, "I'll say you went to look around the land" watching him leave through the door as she sighed before she went back to cleaning acting normal as possible. You had been out in a small clearing that was surrounded by trees and flowers often out here on a small soft blanket with snacks and water while you read whatever new book you got but had slowly fallen asleep.
As Aemond approached the clearing with you, he could see that you were peacefully asleep. He knew he should wake you up, but he couldn’t bring himself to do so. He walked over and sat down next to you and looked at you. Your beauty was unmatched by anything he had ever seen before and he felt his heart ache at the sight of you. He was filled with love for you and he wished for nothing more than to spend his future with you. He slowly laid down on the blanket to enjoy the moment with you. You turned over in your sleep leaning closer against Aemond as your book closed, not fully awake as you barely opened your eyes as you looked up at him thinking his being right there was a part of her dream "Aemond? What are you doing here?". Yawning softly but closed your eyes not thinking much about this. Aemond smiled as he felt you lean closer to him and close your eyes again. He was still not sure whether he wanted to wake you and convince you that you could be together once more. He leaned in and kissed your cheek gently as he felt his heart racing faster in his chest. In order to see his true intentions, he decided to act based on his emotions rather than thoughts. He wanted you, and he was going to get you. He hoped to convince you that you were in fact meant to be his.
Aemond knew that you would soon have to wake up, but he didn’t want to ruin this moment. Aemond placed a gentle kiss on your cheek and responded to your question.“I came to speak with you.” He didn’t know how much longer he could allow you to believe that the marriage with Nerissa was still happening, you needed to know how he truly felt about you. But, he couldn’t take away this moment. You let out a soft hum as your eyes stayed shut but laid your head on his shoulder letting a light smile on your face, still sleeping as if nothing was wrong but wasn't aware to how much things would change by the time you would wake. Aemond felt a moment of bliss as he felt you laid your head on his shoulder. Your hair was soft and your warmth was cozy. He was content with this moment for now, and he hoped that once you woke up, he would be able to convince you to run away with him. Aemond knew that it was a ridiculous idea. He was the crown prince and you were just a lady, but he still had to try. Because you were the only thing that mattered to him at that moment.
Only a few short days later Nerissa happily read another letter from Aemond even if it confused her, telling her family that he invited everyone but figured it was just to get to know everyone as everyone got ready Nerissa ready to pull you aside and tell you whatever lie Nerissa came up with about the prince. Once they arrived his mother Alicent welcomed them stating rooms were prepared for them all even if she didn't understand the problem her son was in with the whole marriage. Aemond’s mother, Alicent, was confused by his invitation, but she was pleased with the idea of bringing their two families together. As Nerissa prepared to talk to you to keep things in her favor, Aemond began to think of whatever lie he could come up with to get out of the marriage with her. Aemond wasn’t sure if Nerissa would believe the lie, but he hoped that you would. You needed to, if he had any chance of running away with you.
Aemond felt a chill go down his spine as he heard that the family would all be gathering together. He knew that Nerissa was going to talk with you and he was scared that she might ruin his plan. But, he still had to go along with the arrangement to keep up a public front. He made sure to be polite with everyone at the gathering. But, he still hoped to be able to convince you of his true feelings for you and to avoid the marriage with Nerissa at all costs. It was a tough spot for him to be in. You got settled into your temporary chambers before stopping in your tracks as you noticed sparkling gems and jewelry, looking closer as you saw all different beautiful colors and cuts before getting ready for dinner with everyone, then started speaking with Nerissa about what you saw in your room to hear her that she didn't get anything like that and wanted to switch rooms with you thinking it was an accident. Walking into the dining hall seeing Aemond and his family before seeing all of your favorite foods and even fruits that are difficult to get as you sat down in your seat seeing Nerissa lean close to him with a pout on her lips as she whispered "None of these are my favorites darling."
Aemond noticed that you had entered the dining hall and looked up at you as you took your seat. He then looked over at Nerissa and saw that she was pouting. He knew that Nerissa was trying to make him look bad to her sister, but he ignored her comments for now. He tried to stay focused on you and your happiness, and he continued eating his dinner. His heart continued to ache at your beauty and his love for you. He was so glad that he brought your the food you enjoyed. Aemond felt his chest sink when he saw Y/n’s reaction to the items he had prepared. But, he still wanted to convince her that he still cared for her. He looked over to Nerissa, noticing her pout as she leaned in close to him. He spoke through a forced smile, trying to seem happy about everything even though it was just an act. “Nerissa has been helping me in all my preparations. The food is in honor of her favorite things.”
Nerissa looked at the table with disgust before she looked over at Aemond once more as she shook her head, "No I didn't these aren't even my favorites, these are Y/n's-" Cutting off her own sentence as she narrowed her eyes at him with anger as she clenched her teeth and spoke "These are Y/n's favorites" Crossing her arms over her chest not caring about the tension she was causing feeling it was all his fault for it. Aemond couldn’t help but smile a little at Nerissa’s sudden outburst, as it proved that she had been paying very close attention to all the details. “Nerissa is right.” Aemond said with a smile. He couldn’t help but feel a little satisfaction at seeing Nerissa get jealous. He continued to speak with a soft voice as he looked over at the entire family and explained. “All the items on this table are specific to Y/n’s tastes.”
You had already been putting food on your plate before looking up hearing your name and looked at everyone who was already looking at you, "What? what I'd do?" Tilting your head slightly before looking over at Aemond and Nerissa in surprise but smiled brightly at them both "That's very kind thank you both" Waiting until prayer was over to start eating but didn't notice the juice from the fruit dripping down your lower lip. Aemond felt his heart fill with joy at your words. You had been the only one who didn’t seem to notice that he had purposely chosen your favorite items. And the way that the juice from the fruit dripped on your lower lip made you even more attractive to him. He couldn’t wait any longer. He wanted to tell you everything, but he didn’t know how. He knew he needed to find a way to talk to you alone.
Aemond felt a moment of relief as you seemed to respond kindly to his gifts and the dinner, but he was slightly surprised that you didn’t seem to suspect anything. He was just glad that you seemed to be enjoying the food. “You’re very welcome.” Aemond said with a smile as he began eating his own food. You gave him another kind smile as you continued to eat listening to the small talk going around the table, looking over at the oldest Targaryen sibling Rhaenyra and gave her a kind smile as you spoke softly "I simply adore your necklace princess, it's gorgeous." Aemond had to force himself to be engaged in the conversation with the rest of the families, but he still kept his eyes on you. He felt a small moment of pride as you noticed Rhaenyra’s necklace.
Aemond knew that he was trying his best to get everyone to see just how much he cared about you. He was doing this all out of love. “I see that my love is not the only one who can appreciate your sense of fashion but my sister as well.” Aemond said to you no longer attempting to look at Nerissa. Aemond felt his heart lift a little at the sight of you giving Rhaenyra a kind smile. But, he didn’t want to take any chances. He tried his best to sound as sincere as possible when he spoke.“Y/n’s taste is truly marvelous.” Aemond said with a smile. He hoped that you would be able to catch on to the fact that he was paying much more attention to you than any one else at the table.
You gave Aemond another smile before looking down at your plate feeling shy due to his complimentary words, soon enough you had finished dinner and was excused then started walking down the long hallways as you started to walked back to the private chambers given to you to get ready for bed and take some time for yourself. Aemond finished his dinner as well, knowing that this was the perfect time to speak privately with you. He quickly excused himself from the table ignoring Nerissa and made his way towards your chambers as well, as he walked, he felt his heart racing as he thought about the fact that he was going to speak with you about wanting to marry you and about your true feelings. He was filled with doubt and fear, but ultimately, he knew that he had to go through with it.
You had changed out of the clothes you had been wearing and put on a nightgown before looking through the oddly specific books that were in the room, softly smiling to yourself almost feeling at home in the room but knew it was probably nothing and went to open the door slightly when you heard knocking on the door "Yes?". Aemond saw the shy look on your face as he entered the room and he hoped to make you feel at ease. He looked at the books he picked out thinking you would enjoy and that you seemed to be reading and he couldn’t help but feel a little sad that he was marrying Nerissa instead of you. “I asked to speak with you because…” Aemond started. He stopped, his heart racing and his mind racing as he decided how he wanted to approach this. It was all or nothing at this point.
You nodded your head as you sat down with the prince watching as he tried several times to form the words, giving him enough time to think about how to say whatever was on his mind before he seemed to finally started to talk telling you of an odd dream he had about a very familiar clearing with trees and flowers. After training, he was so tired, that he went to take a little nap, and he had a very funny dream. He dreamed of a beautiful field, with a big tree, and about singing birds, certain foods and just relaxing enough, he dreamed of the pleasant noise of trees and grass which caused your jaw to drop in shock before clearing your throat. Aemond felt a moment of relief as you understood the reference to the clearing that he had “dreamt” about. But now Aemond faced an important question. Should he tell you the truth about his feelings for you, or continue to pretend that he still wished to marry Nerissa? He knew that you had to know the truth and that the longer he let this lie continue, the worse it would be for both you and him. Aemond took a deep breath before speaking. “Nerissa is not who I want to marry.” He spoke with conviction.
"Aemond… who is it you wish to marry then?" You looked at him anxiously. As if you already knew the answer especially after the last time you both spoke one on one, the only question that matters now is the ‘why’. "You surprised me, Aemond. You have always expressed fondness for her, if not love." Your face was a mask of curiosity. But there was hope in your voice, as you wanted to hear him say, what you wanted him to say. “I wish to marry you.” Aemond spoke nervously, not knowing how you would respond. His heart was in his throat as he feared that you would reject him, but he knew that it was something that had to be done. “I have never felt such a strong connection with anyone the way I do with you. I can’t imagine being married to Nerissa. I want to be with you.” Aemond took a deep breath as he took in your response, waiting to be rejected.
Your heart skipped a beat as you heard his confession. You never thought that Aemond felt such a strong connection to you. But now, all the pieces clicked in place. Aemond’s kindness, his words, his actions and attention he paid to you. You didn’t even need to think twice and your response came swift like thunder in the storm. "Aemond- You're serious?" Your voice was soft as rain and you were lost in his eyes now. Aemond felt a huge rush of excitement as he heard you confirm that he was serious. He felt a smile spread across his face as he knew that the feeling between you both was mutual. He nodded his head to your question. “More than serious. I love you.” He couldn’t believe that he had just confessed his feelings to you, but he was happy to finally say the words that he had harbored for so long.
Feeling your heart pounding in your chest as Aemond confessed his love to you. "You love me?" Your voice was filled with joy and a little bit of disbelief. You didn’t see that coming. You placed a gentle hand on Aemond's face and a soft kiss to his lips, as sweet as the song of the night. You felt tears of joy fill your eyes as you finally heard that Aemond loved you and you didn't need to worry he was going to marry your sister. "I love you, Aemond. I always have." You said breathlessly, leaning into the kiss. Aemond felt the hair on his body stand up as you put your lips on his and he couldn’t help but feel a rush of butterflies. He felt his heart rush at your tender touch and his mind felt free of all of the stress that he had felt for so long even as a prince. As you continued to kiss Aemond, he kissed back, enjoying every moment of it. He couldn’t believe that he was finally free from this secret, but he couldn’t wait for the future with you to begin. You slowly pulled away with your eyes closed from the kiss still reveling in the moment, slowly opening your eyes looking at him before a sudden feeling of guilt as you stood up pacing the floor running your fingers through your hair as well as tugging on the roots. Muttering to yourself that this wasn't right he was marrying your sister and he should be in love with her but couldn’t help feeling awful for kissing Aemond and shook your head ready to cry.  Aemond felt his heart sink as he saw you stand up and pace the room, and he could see the worry and guilt behind your eyes. He couldn’t let this moment end like this. So, he stood up and went over to you, taking your hands in his own as he turned you towards him.“Please… listen to me.” He spoke in a soft but firm voice. “I do not love Nerissa the way we both know I love you. I want to spend my life with you. Not with her.”
Aemond could see a few tears start to fall and he leaned closer so that he could help you any way he could. “What’s wrong?” Aemond asked, with genuine concern in his voice. He placed both of his hands on your shoulders to keep you from pacing or hurting yourself. “Tell me what’s wrong, Y/n. You can trust me.” "I feel guilty, Aemond, I feel guilty." You confessed as you wiped your tears. "I shouldn’t be doing this with you. You are already promised to my sister." A tear rolled down your cheek, your voice trembling with fear and shame. "Nerissa is my baby sister. If she found out… she would be heartbroken. Her pure and innocent heart would be shattered." You said, your voice full of agony for the girl you would hurt. Aemond wanted to comfort Y/n, but he didn’t want to do anything that might upset her. He couldn’t help but feel guilty about Nerissa as well. “You’re right. We shouldn’t be doing this. It’s not fair for Nerissa.” Aemond said with a disappointed look on his face. “But…” Aemond didn’t want to say the words that were in his mind, but he knew that he had to. “I can’t marry Nerissa.” Y/n was startled by Aemond’s confession. She was confused and hurt by his words. Why he couldn't marry her sister? When the agreement was already sealed by their parents. The words of her parents echoed in her ears. But she was relieved Aemond was not marrying her sister just because he had to. Maybe he really had feelings for someone. "Why?, Why you can't marry Nerissa?" Y/n asked with a broken voice, as her words had the taste of ash. She tried to look into his eyes but tears had blurred the world for her.
Aemond knew that the truth would be painful for you to hear. He felt guilty that he was the reason that you were crying. But he knew that it was important that he be honest with you.  knowing that what he was about to say could be quite controversial. He felt his stomach turn into knots as he gathered the courage to tell you the truth. “I… don’t want to marry Nerissa. I never did.” Aemond said it with a calm demeanor, but there was a lot of emotion boiling inside of him right now. “I want to marry you.” You wiped the tear which was flowing again on your cheek as you heard Aemond’s confession. You felt joy, happiness, and hope. But there was a big BUT, Nerissa was still promised to him. That’s something even he couldn't change now, even if you wished. "But Our parents promised you to my sister, remember? Don’t you understand what is going to happen to her when she finds out about our affection? What will it do to her?" You started to sob as the tears were running without control as if you had lost. For a moment you believed your ears were playing tricks on you and that it was not what Aemond had said at all. It couldn’t be true, right? He was marrying her sister after all it just didn’t make sense. But the truth was there in his eyes and you felt a warmth and happiness settle in your heart. "Are you- Are you sure, Aemond?" You finally found the words to speak, but there was still a hint of doubt in your voice. You were scared of being broken again.
Aemond felt a sense of relief as he heard the happiness in your voice. However, he also felt a bit conflicted as you mentioned the promise that your parents had made, he couldn’t help but feel apathy that Nerissa would be hurt if you both defied your parents but kept trying to be gentle. “I know it sounds absurd… but we don’t need to hide our feelings anymore.” Aemond insisted. “We are both adults and we know what we want. We don’t need to do as our parents say.” Aemond’s heart sank as he heard you response. He couldn’t believe that he had caused you this much pain when after everything he’s done was for your happiness. He felt his eyes fill with tears as he saw how heartbroken you were to hear the truth from his own mouth. But Aemond couldn’t help but speak his mind. “I couldn’t marry anyone else but you” He tried to reassure you. “We could figure everything out, I’m sure of it.” Your mind was filled with a thousand thoughts at the same time, as you struggled with all the emotions you were feeling. You were happy for yourself because you might just marry Aemond after all. But at the same time, you felt guilty and hurt for your sister. You couldn’t break Nerissa’s heart. She didn't deserve it. She didn't deserve all this pain. "Aemond, I don't want to have to choose between you and my family," You said, with fear in your eyes. "Aemond…" You whispered, as you moved closer to him and placed your hands on his face.
Aemond noticed the way that you moved closer to him and placed your hands on his face. He felt his heart skip a beat as he looked into your eyes. He placed his own hands over yours and he spoke to you softly. “I don’t plan on marrying anyone else but you. I told you, we can figure everything out.” Aemond pulled you in for a hug, unable to hold back his feelings for you any longer. Aemond’s eyes went wide with surprise as you moved closer and placed your hands on his face. He felt his mind race as he saw your face. He didn’t know what to say or do, but he liked how close you were to him. He placed his hands on top of your hands to lock them onto his face. He didn’t say anything at first, as he let this moment of silence sink in before slowly speaking.
“We need to tell Nerissa about us.”
