Qualche settimana fa ho veduto per la prima volta «On the Milky Road - Sulla Via Lattea (On the Milky Road)» (2016) di Emir Kusturica, dove il regista recita insieme a Monica Bellucci. È stata l’occasione perché qualcosa di inconscio si muovesse mettendomi in cerca di «Underground» (1995) e facendomelo rivedere, oggi, per la prima volta dopo ventotto anni. Entrambi, con «On the Milly Road» a livelli fotografici, interiori, mi hanno fatto provare una cosa che è quanto di più vicino alla poesia abbia vissuto in questi ultimi mesi. Per questo regista mi vengono in mente le parole della motivazione con cui venne assegnato, nel 1997, il Nobel a Dario Fo: «... dileggia il potere restituendo la dignità agli oppressi».

E' anche una cosa un po' pericolosa, credo, perché personalmente io vado a periodi, ci sono dei periodi in cui... È come coi libri: qual è il tuo libro preferito? Boh, che ne so? Dipende da quello che ho appena letto e da quello che mi è piaciuto. E anche quei film. Ci sono dei film che mi lasciano, mi fanno un grande impatto appena li vedo, poi però non è che mi rimangano per anni e anni, per decenni. E invece poi ci sono degli altri film che mi rimangono, anche se magari sul momento quando li ho visti non hanno avuto questo impatto emotivo. Poi cosa vuol dire impatto emotivo di un film? Un film che fa piangere? Un film che fa ridere? Film che che provocano la risata, proprio la risata bella di pancia, da tantissimo tempo che non ne vedo, anzi veramente non ricordo neanche quale sia l'ultimo film che ho visto che mi ha fatto ridere ahahahahahahah. come si dice a crepapelle.
