long haired seonghwa just making me feel things, looking so damn pretty and all..

lately seonghwa let his hair grow and you were more then delighted to help him manage it, so like every day for the past months, you helped him style his unruly mane.

he requested to curl his hair, wanting to look pretty, as he said. so here you are, curling and styling his hair for him while he sits on his chair and builds his last piece of lego.

humming you section his hair, pinning the part that isn’t needed right now away. „do you want bigger curls this time, hwa?“ he just slightly nods, too concentrated on his own task. with that you take your trusty curling iron and start with the first section.

while holding it for a few seconds, you can’t help for your thoughts to wander.

that seonghwa is handsome, it’s known but lately he just got even more handsome, dare you say even pretty. whenever you two go out, he always makes sure to wear his best clothes, wear makeup and style his hair prettily.

As you take another strand you tell him; „lately you became so pretty, especially with your hair like this.“

after you pulled the iron away to hold his cooling curl in your palm he turn to face you. a pink hue on his cheeks that suits him so much, his small shy smile thats only ever directed at you.

„it’s true but i‘m not really trying to change. i just wanna look pretty for you. i know you like when i‘m cute.“ he said, gazing up at you.

you humm, smiling as you stroke his cheek. so all this effort he puts on, is just for you? you can’t help but lean down to pull him into a sweet kiss.

you truly were so lucky.

For the Laicion nation (aka, me and three other people)

I had this illustration commissioned (a big thank you to @lunehowls) for my werewolf AU Laicion fic (still a WIP).

The general pitch is as follows :

AU in which Laios never got to meet his sister again, putting his life on a whole other path, a more desperate one. A military deserter with barely a coin to his name, Laios hitches a ride on a boat to one of the elven continents, where he learns about magical tattoos that binds one’s soul to a wolf’s, effectively making them artificial werewolves. Illegal magic be damned, this feels like the answer to… everything.

In the process, he learns about the existence of an illegal fighting ring in one of the elven cities, where beastmen gladiators gather. Freshly tattooed and without anywhere else to go to, Laios decides to head there, where he meets Lycion, an elf and artificial werewolf gladiator. If they first bond over a simple shared meal, by spending time together (sharing the same room in the barracks, maybe the same bed? gasp) they find that they have a lot in common, notably a shared distaste for the body they were born in, a dysphoria partially remedied by becoming a werewolf.

First Kiss with Drayton || Drayton x Reader

With how casual and lighthearted Drayton is about everything, it's kind of hard to tell that he's flirting with you in the first place. You basically had no idea he liked you that way until he kissed you for the first time.

It was past school hours, and everyone was heading out for the day. You stayed behind to help Drayton with his League club work, as Lacey had assigned him an absolute PILE of paperwork to do.

At one point he got pretty tired and started to drift off, so you kept doing the paperwork as he went to sleep. You were humming to yourself when you glanced at his sleeping face.

...Cute. His face looked so peaceful.

As you turned back to your work, you felt a hand suddenly grab yours-- Drayton's lips pressed onto your lips. It stunned you, you barely had time to react before he was already pulling away.

"Wha... D-Drayton?" You said quietly. Your face was getting warmer by the second.

Drayton just smiled and chuckled. "You gotta be careful what you say out loud, Y/N."

You buried your face in your hands, too embarassed to speak. Did you just call him cute out loud?! How did that happen?? Your embarassment got another chuckle out of him as you groaned and sunk further into a ball in your chair.

Lacey came back an hour later to check on Drayton's progress, only to see both of you snuggled in the corner of the room on a giant bean bag chair, fast asleep.

Bonus: Don't expect him to let go of you anytime soon if you wake up before he does. He's got quite the grip on you!

being in a long distance relationship wasn’t originally what you planned, but after meeting yunho your whole life seemed to change.

you never were much of a social butterfly, frankly you hated going out and into places with lots of people. you loved being a homebody, enjoying calmness and quiet but even when that was your life, one you were pretty content with…there still was something missing, or rather someone.

so you went out of your way and downloaded an app, hoping to meeting you someone special and that you did.

it didn’t take long for you to fall in love with yunho, his charm and humor was something he pulled you in with.

everyday you woke up to good morning, baby! did you dream sweet? and everyday you fell asleep to good night, my love. i love you.

you even met his best friend, his other half mingi, which you quickly became best friends with too. he often messaged you, sending you silly pictures of your boyfriend or letting you know what he’s up to if yunho’s too busy to do so himself and for that you were truly thankful.

because lately yunho has been quiet, he barely text’s you, always busy with dancing class, well, thats what he says and of course you believe him! he’s an active person so it’s not abnormal but it does hurt a little bit, you miss him a lot.

you miss him, you want to be part of his daily life but you can’t, not fully at least. but mingi sent you a pic of yunho one night, fast asleep on his desk, looking like he worked on something for some time. you can’t really tell on what though, it’s blurred. mingi wrote underneath “he’s been stressing about this for so long, he even forgets to eat and drink. don’t worry tho! i’m reminding him (:”

you didn’t exactly understand what he was referring to but it must be very important. with that knowledge you could calm down and sleep better but also worry a bit about your yunho, as he clearly overworks himself..

after two weeks you suspected that he might be working on your birthday present, your birthday that was just around the corner, especially because he was pretty secretive about it too and even after bothering mingi, who also acts kinda suspicious you let it drop.

two days before your special day yunho calls you, smiling so bright you could swear he’s brighter than the sun. he tells you “babe, are you excited for your present?” of course you were, he treated it like a government secret after all. “you know i am but i’ll be patient, promise.” after that his smile seemed to grow even more and he tells you, how the wait is gonna pay off.

you wondered what he made you and if it will arrive on your birthday or a few days after.

so imagine the surprise when your present ringed your bell, standing only one feet away from you with a box and spread arms, waiting for you to jump into.

and that you did, with tears streaming down your face.

“happy birthday my love, may all your wishes come true” he whispered. and god, they truly did.

I'm just thinking about the evolution of Sebastian's vernacular from when the contract is first made to present day. Specifically in the change from him referring to Ciel as ごしゅじんさま ("goshujinsama") or "master" to our beloved 坊ちゃん ("bocchan") or "young master."

I'm not fluent in Japanese, but I see this as a change from a very formal title to almost a title of endearment, while retaining respect and honour. Perhaps the use of "goshujinsama" was early Sebastian's way of mocking his new master's smallness and pathetic nature in comparison to the masters that came before him. But the switch to "bocchan" is Sebastian acknowledging how young Ciel is while simultaneously acknowledging the weight of his title. That his young master wields great power despite his age and stature.

If I'm remembering correctly, Claude only refers to Alois as "goshujinsama" rather than "bocchan," perhaps implying a less-emotionally-attached bond between the two of them to contrast to Ciel and Sebastian.

I would love any input on this from folks who are more familiar with the Japanese language.

Also...just a related thought, one of my favourite things about the official English translation of Kuro is seeing how Yen Press maintains the effect of Sebastian's keigo (hyper formal speech) by writing Sebastian's dialogue as never including contractions (i.e., "can't" becomes "cannot"). It's one of my favourite details to include when writing Sebastian in fic — adds a certain uncanny, inhuman formalness to him, I think. And I'm a slut for tiny details like that.

I should have clarified, by "early Sebastian" I meant Sebastian at the beginning of the contract, not at the beginning of the series.
