It wasn't that long since I started reading Korean manhwa/webtoons besides Japanese manga, and recently I got into the historical-fantasy genre webtoons/manhwa where out of all of them, The Fantasie of a Stepmother (A Stepmother's Märchen) is my No. 1 fav in the list. I just love the story and the characters and more so than that, I'm in love with the main male lead of the story, Norra Von Nurnberger.

(The greenest of the green flags and I'm a simp for him now!!!)

honestly I think there three simple types of people in the Necromancer Survival fandom:

those who have read the novel and are mostly having the greatest and scariest time of their lives 🤗❤️

the manhwa readers probably part of a Lackey Appreciation cult, and still confused about the “we hear your thoughts” thing or have excused it to bad translation 😎👍🏼

Finally, those who have read both, who are living the full experience happily, but are maybe having a hard time seeing the shortcuts of the manhwa and have a different love for characters depending on the format 💃✨

I will master this family spoilers (?)

I'm a little upset that the artist/s did not illustrate the part where Shananet held Firentia's hand when Dr. Estira stitched the injury she got from helping Lulak. It was so cute. Tia's nails dug into her auntie's palm because it was painful, and when Tia noticed, she tried to pull away but Shananet held her niece's hand tighter. After that, Tia apologized, and Shananet, known for her honest personality, told her she was a strong girl 💓 I loved that scene so much.

But still, I'm so excited for the next chapters. I was overjoyed at the check counterfeit scene.

"Other than being a woman, is there anything you're better than me at?"

Dumb Viese thought that his sister's divorce w/Vestian is a 'weakness', but she retorted back: "I didn't do anything wrong, so I am not ashamed." and "If I'm the joke of the family, then what does that make you?"

I LOVED THAT CHAPTER IN THE NOVEL, AND THE ARTIST/S CAPTURED IT AS I IMAGINED IT.

Super excited at the part where Tia says "It's a trade secret." to Shananet. I think Shananet was amused as Clerivan said the same thing before.

Nothing much happened in this chapter but when cheol and Mi-ae arrive at the school event (it's some srot of orchestra or classical music event) cheol notices that there are a lot of kids form other schools and stars to feel uncomfortable because of the stares. But then Mi-ae pulls him beside her and starts walking with confidence while looking for their friends he stops being worried and kind smiles to himself (it was really cute, I know he knows that he stoped feeling uncomfortable because Mi-ae was with him awwww :') then they find their friends from charm school and start taking. Inside the opera house (I don't know how it's called sorry 😔) Mi-ae falls asleep and starts drooling, she wakes up and cheol is looking at her pointing at his cheek/mouth and she gets embarrassed hahahaha and kinda mad at cheol for pointing out her drooling. The chapter ends with Mi-ae encountering Jisu outside.

I love...

MLs who glare at their rival/trash over their beloved’s shoulder as they kiss them, MLs who threaten their enemies/their beloved’s enemies and their face grows so dark only the glow of their eyes can be seen.

MLs that grow so furious, it shows outwardly as they shout for the guards to find them, to bring them to him- so he can tear the people who dared to take their lover away from them- limb from limb, but only after his beloved is safe by his side being peppered with kisses and loving words.

Bonus points if the ML gets slit pupils, fangs when he opens his mouth to yell, or gets angry veins on his jaw and neck as he begins the hunt for his loved one.

MLs who are always elegant and composed but becomes a rabid wolf when their beloved goes missing, MLs who lose their heart and soul when their beloved dies in their arms and burns the world down with angry tears running down their face.
