I’m watching “For Love”, a documentary about First Nations people and exploring how more than half of all kids in foster care in Canada are Indigenous, and delving into the history of First Nations people getting their children taken.

It just made me think of one other documentary (whose name escapes me) about how this young boy wanted to go back home from residential school, because he missed his grandfather. The priest tricked him and made him pack up and get ready for a visit and then locked him in a shed for a week.

The thing that absolutely broke me was how this 70 something year old man said “I don’t understand why they did that to me, just because I was lonesome.”

So many of our children have been taken and never returned and I don’t think enough people know about this.

but like i was fucked up about it yesterday then today i feel numb enough to talk about it, then tomorrow i just get to keep living my life. how the fuck is pauline supposed keep getting up in the morning for the rest of her life now

New here. Never use Twitter! Elon and cronies had a hissy fit. Truth is the freedom of speech Elon does not want. I relied on social media for: explaining the heinous injustices to myself and who the 'untouchables' are (and what Organization they are also of); reach out to public for funding for justice; and focus my attention in educating people about a network of nepotism which today is still even snatching children to commting war crimes.

My threads were highly informative; most recently I was drawing out a road map for people to investigate themselves how an Organization has funded/created: present Nazi Ukraine; ISIS, MeK and Taliban; NATO, Nazi Germany, fascist Italy, and even bolshevik and Soviets. Unfortunately photos from Twitter have been wiped from available tweets so even tweets with photos about Mike Comrie's bad habits are not avaible in sample tweets below.

My info is valid and I will now get more specific and personal at a local level (hillbilly Alberta which even angrily suggests Justin Trudeau himself isn't a tarbaby heir of ESSO/Standard). I feel kind of shitty because I know someone who joined the military and he wants to build a gun which will be effective in Arctic climates for the military. I have tried multiple times to make him understand how disproportionately this will be used against Northern native communities and how, by creating this, he will be aiding and fueling genocide because one can logically see that the RCMP will be assigned these rifles and kill arctic natives. But he refuses to see and even tried to call me racist and blinded by history, which like excuse the fuck out of you privileged white boy but we're still here and we're still enduring genocide. I feel bad because I know he's traumatized, grew up in a military family, and is probably on the spectrum, but that's no excuse to build a weapon like that or to refuse to acknowledge the damage he'll cause by creating it. I feel like an ass but at the same time, idk what else I could have said because it's not ok and he's unwilling to listen - he always lets another person speak but doesn't actually listen to what they're saying if it goes against what he thinks is true, even if they're more qualified on speaking about it than he is. I'm just really mad and sad right now
