… … Whoops. I started countin’ out loud outta habit.

I just can’t get over the feelin’ of bein’ Captain and soundin’ out the count during warm-up, even when I’m doin’ stretches by myself, huh~ ♪

5, 6, 7, 8… …

(Sound of the door opening.)

Madara: Yo~, Kuro-san. You’re going aaall out for practice today~ ♪

Kuro: Oh, Mikejima, huh? This is rare. Are you here fer a workout, too?

Madara: Yup. The scope of my idol activities have been reduced enough as it is. If I don’t show up for Circle activities every once in a while, my existence would really be forgotten, riiight?

Besides, I don’t have anything better to do right now~. It’s not a bad idea to play to my heart’s content while I still can.

… … That’s how it is, Kuro-san. Since you’re stretching right now, how about pairing up with me?

We’ve been training buddies for quite a while now. It must’ve been especially lonely for you when I wasn’t around, right? ♪

Kuro: It’s not like I particularly missed ya or anythin’, but whatever. I’ll accept yer offer of some easy company.

Would ya mind stickin’ close to my back? I want to give my back muscles a real good stretch.

Madara: I don’t mind at aaall. Ready, and go… …

Kuro: Ohhhh~, that feels terrific as hell. Just as one would expect from a big guy, like, yer real stable. I’m able to stretch without havin’ to worry.

(Sound of door opening again.)

Tetora: This is terrible, this is just SO TERRIBLE!

Kuro: Hm, Tetsu?

Tetora: AH! Taisho, Mikejima-senpai! It’s great that the both of you are here!

Have you seen this flyer that’s been posted outside the dojo?

Kuro: Nope, I didn’t notice anythin’ like that… … What’s gotten you so upset about it?

It can’t be anythin’ that bad, even if it says the Circle’s about to be shut down or somethin’. You don’t have to go gettin’ upset over somethin’ as trivial as a flyer.

Tetora: Th-that’s true, but errrm… Please take a look at this!

Madara: What’s this… …? [Recruiting Those With Pride In Their Strength! A Search For The Strongest Man In ES]... …?

The P-Association should be the ones in charge of putting up this ad. It seems to be a job offer of some sort.

Tetora: Yes, that’s right! And the content of this job recruitment is obviously aimed at us from SHIN; in other words, it’s a letter of challenge! We have no choice but to accept it, right?!

Madara: U~mmm. I’m not feeling any attraction whatsoever towards the title of ‘The Strongest Man’, though.

Tetora: Please don’t say such a thing! The entire pride of SHIN is at stake here, you know~!?

The martial arts Circle SHIN must definitely be the one to win the title of ‘The Strongest Man’! Taisho, you must think so too, right?

Kuro: Me? I ain’t particularly interested either, but… …

Well. Since Tetsu feels so strongly about it, it wouldn’t hurt to go and just hear ‘em out, I guess?

Tetora: Hooray! As expected of Taisho, you have such an open mind! ☆ And, if you don’t mind, Mikejima-senpai, you definitely have to come join us, please!

I’ve been hearing so much about you from Morisawa-senpai for ages now, but we’ve never had much opportunity to work together. I’d absolutely love to have a chance to do that now!

Madara: Hmm? Aren’t you being unusually pushy about this?

But since you’ve gone and put it like that, I guess there’s just no helping it. If you were to ask me again by saying, “Mama, please~!” in a reeeally sweet voice, perhaps I’ll respond favourably to your request after all?

Kuro: Oi oi, what the hell’s that? Yer ain’t a Mama, yer just ‘playin’ house’, aren’t ya? What’s more, Tetsu’s pride won’t ever allow him to ask fer help like—

Tetora: Mama, please~!

Kuro: that—OI!

Tetora: Fu~fu~fu~. For the sake of discovering ES’ Strongest Man, I’ll grin and endure doing this much at least!

Hiyori: Jun-kun, Jun-kun, come take a look at this!

Jun: Hmm? “Recruiting Those With Pride in Their Strength”~?

Ohiisan, did you really come all this way to the Training Room just to show this to me?

Hiyori: Yes, yes! I would never be caught dead doing anything as stinky and sweaty as muscle training. I’m already fit enough from normal lessons as is!

Jun: That’s easy for you to say, but Ohiisan’s actually a pretty chubby guy, you know?

Hiyori: Seriously? How rude of you to use the word ‘chubby’ to describe me! A more appropriate way of expressing it would be ‘possessing moderate muscle tone’; but you don’t know anything about being polite with your words at all, do you, Jun-kun?

Jun: Well, if Ohiisan says so, I guess.

But then~, ‘Those with pride in their strength’, hu~h… I don’t know what this project is about, but it smells pretty darn fishy.

Hiyori: Haha! You’re worrying way too much about it, don’t you think? This isn’t the Reimei Academy of old, after all. This job is offered by the P-Association, so isn’t it likely that Anzu-chan will be in charge of this?

Jun: Ah~... … I get it now. So, this project is Anzu-san’s doing, huh?

It’s kinda surprising, but that girl’s into well-built bodies and stuff like that for some reason. She says and does pretty weird things sometimes, too.

When we bumped into each other here the other day, she actually said that she wanted to feel my muscles.

Hiyori: Hmm? She must definitely have been very tired.

Anyway. How about it, Jun-kun? Do you have what it takes to become ‘The Strongest Man in ES’?

Jun: Huh? Why are you talking as if it’s already decided that I’m gonna be part of this?

Hiyori: Because it’s interesting, that’s why! And I would also like to see Jun-kun’s muscles actually be useful for something for once ♪

Jun: Man! This guy’s honestly always making unreasonable demands of me… …

How do you plan on explaining this to Ibara in the first place?

You know how he is; He’ll probably say, “You’ll ruin the image of Eden,” or “Don’t go working for Anzu-san as you please,” and stuff like that.

Hiyori: Oh, there’s absolutely no need to explain anything at all! We’re blessed with the tools of modernity after all, so we can check in with each other on our smartphones instantly ♪

And so you see, I’m going to use ‘HoldHands’ to send a message to Ibara! And I’m going to say, “Jun-kun is interested in this flyer!”... … like this~ ♪

Jun: AH~! Wait a damned minute, Ohiisan! What are you doing—

(Phone buzzes.)

Hiyori: Ohhh. Just as one would expect from Ibara, he’s always so quick to reply! What does he say… …?

“It seems interesting, so you may proceed as you wish. It has been my long-cherished wish that Jun’s useless muscles be useful for some kind of work too.” There you go~ ♪

Jun: That bastaaard~... …!

GODDAMN! This conversation’s progressing way too smoothly, dammit! There’s nothing more annoying than two people who’re in cahoots with each other… …!

Hiyori: Fufu~! Are you going to protest this decision that’s been sanctioned by both Ibara and myself? If you think you can do it, then go ahead and try!

Jun: Really? This guy is just too stubborn, that’s why… …

Since there’s nothing I can do about it, I’ll approach this job offer with an open mind. I’ve only worked with Anzu-san a few times before this, and there’s probably still a lot I can learn from her.

Hiyori: Yes, yes! Very good! I'm not too fond of the expression ‘approach with an open mind’ because it sounds too much like something that Ibara would say, but—

—It would be a good experience to work beyond the boundaries of the agency and the unit every once in a while, don’t you think? That’s what I call fine weather… …! ☆

Someone hitting you in front of him.

Once again it is a request from our beloved @ijustloveshingekinokyojin

Including Umemiya, Sakura, Suo, Kiryu and nirei

Umemiya

You guys were just together looking for some item you've seen online and you really wanted them.

Seeing you so happy Umemiya heart couldn't help but to felt his heart melt.

Without you noticed Umemiya went into the store.

After a few second an unknown men went to meet you. Starting to talk to you.

Even though you told the guy to leave you alone he started to scream at you and even took your arm.

At the exact moment Umemiya cameback.

He didnt have the time to make a move that your fist meet this guy face.

When He tried to replicate you felt a hand on your waist and an important presence behind you.

That was of course your boyfriend. He's coming to help you.

"What do you think you're doing? "

Seeing the firing uniform the man left quickly.

When you asked Umemiya were he was he looked at you with adorable eyes showing you the product he bought that you guys came originally for.

Sakura

You guys were outside you went with Sakura and his friend on a patrol. You weren't used to go with him but you had nothing to do and you really wanted to spend time with him.

Sakura and you were behind everyone talking and stuff. You even manage to take his hand in yours. His face was slightly red but not that much noticeable.

When a men approached you and talking to you in an appropriate way. Telling you stuff you really didn't like and after all you are here to spend time with your boyfriend and to see how a Furin patrol is.

Sakura couldn't even say a thing before you jump on that guy to rip him apart. No thought needed just action. Your body moved before you could think.

The fight started and well obviously you won. Women supremacy. The men left running his tails between his leg. Not very brave for a men who went talk to you and even tried to flirt with you in front of the furin.

When you turn back everyone was looking at you. Such a pretty lady fighting like that. Quite impressive. The mouth were open not really know how to react or even what to say. But what did they expect you are Sakura 's girlfriend.

But honestly even him didn't know you could do that. The guy didn't even touch you once. You were so cool.

Sakura looked so proud like have you seen that? That's my girlfriend look.

"You can fight? Fight me. "

Bro now want to fight with and against you.

Suo

Walking hand in hand with your boyfriend he was listening to you while you were talking about your last interest of the moment.

It was such a cute moment everyone could tell you were loving bird.

That nice moment were cut off by a bunch of men who came by you

Without a thought suo put you behind him to protect his significant other.

Unfortunately the guys wouldn't let you off so a fight start.

Suo was doing as always amazing but he didn't see one of the guy approaching you.

It was only when you sent him fly to another guy suo was fighting that he turn around to see you angry.

Seriously it was a nice afternoon, the weather was nice but no people pissed you off.

You went by Suo to be behind him again. Sure you know how to fight but you don't want to.

After that you guys went by an item from your interest of the moment to cool you off.

Kiryu

Can we take a moment to appreciate how cute he looks on this image?

You guys were on a date in the arcade laughing and having fun playing.

It was such precious date to you since you could enjoy a passion in common but also cause let's not lie you beat every record on the arcade born.

After beating another record Kiryu told you he will comeback in a few and to just wait for him.

So here you are now trying to escape a boring conversation with a men who clearly want to take you home.

You wish your boyfriend would comeback soon but unfortunately it seems that he will take some time.

When you nicely said the men you didn't wish to speak to him and you already have someone he began to be more aggressive.

He took your arm begining to drag you closer to him. You couldn't do much since he has your arm so you hit him with you head on the nose.

He startind to bleed when his lift his hand to slap you.

You raise you arm ready to block him. But before you could a hand stopped him.

Kiryu came back. Finally. You were clearly not a princess in danger but if you could avoid fighting even though you know how to its better.

Kiryu was clearly really pissed off by this men. His pressure on the guy hand was strong and he didn't want to let go. Who do this guy think to touch you?

The guy otherwise did not let go to. They started to fight before a manager came to the situation and make everyone leave.

Kiryu look at you before giving you a plush he won while he was not with you that's why he left. Finally you guys ended up at his house playing game with the plush between your arm.

Nirei

You guys were walking on the street heading to a meet up with the other.

It was a nice day you actually came cause the meeting was called kinda late and you really wanted to meet your boyfriend's friend.

So here you are walking listening to Nirei talking about how Sakura tried to again started a fight and how he tried to stopped it while Suo encouraged it by his sarcastic comment.

At some point a guy came by you stopping you on your walks.

Dude tried to poorly rizz you when Nirei told him you weren't interested and then HE was YOUR boyfriend.

But the guy didn't like that his fist up he tried to hit Nirei when you stopped him and hit his elbow with your knee. Bam you broke it.

The guy left crying how much it hurts. Nirei was so impressed by you he even asked you to teach him how to do that.

You looked at him laughing when you slowly realise his friend was behind him. With all the sound the fight did obviously furin came to see what happened. And they saw everything.

And that is how you met you boyfriend's friends.

I sometimes get so sad when I remember how Kiryu lost literally everyone that he'd ever loved in the span of a few days. Shinji, Reina, Yumi, Kazama, Nishiki—all of them died right before his eyes and he couldn't do a damn thing to stop it. He was so depressed by the end of Kiwami, ready to throw away his life, not caring if he ended up behind the bars for life.

Who did he even have left that he could go on for?

Date gives him a reason. The girl who looked a little too much like Yumi. And that sparks something inside him, something so unfamiliar it almost wreaks him from inside out. He couldn't save her mother, but he will die trying to protect Haruka. Because she's the only one he was living for anyway, right?

Who else did he even have?

Except, he had Majima too. He had always had him. Right from their first meeting in the hazy, glittering streets of Kamurocho in '88 to the violently ritualistic run-ins with him in the winter of '05, Majima was the only person who was a constant, grounding presence in his life, no matter how fluttering. This man waited 10 years for Kiryu to get out of prison, was tempted to follow him right in because fuck it, at least they'd be in that shithole together.

Majima is the only person still alive that Kiryu knows from before. And that's a big fucking deal. Majima knew Kiryu Kazuma before he was the "Dragon of Dojima". He knew him as the punk kid with ideals too lofty for their lawless world. In a way, they came of age together, and grew increasingly disillusioned with the Yakuza lifestyle, also together.

Today, Kiryu has more people he loves and more reasons to live than he did back in '05, but no matter how close they get to him, no one will ever get to see that part of him that long since got permanently buried in the rubble of the millennium tower.

No one but Majima, who knows and understands. God, he understands Kiryu so much. That's why, whenever they meet, they don't need to talk all that much. One glance, one fight and a couple of drinks later, it's like no time has passed and they're right back on that fated, glittery night at Tenkaichi, clashing for the first time ever.

Kiryu has spent his entire life protecting those he cares about. But Majima is different. Kiryu knows he doesn't need his protection. He knows that Majima wouldn't be killed simply because he had the misfortune of being associated with him. And so Kiryu subconsciously depends on Majima the way everyone else in his life depends on him. It's not entirely fair, maybe also a bit selfish but Majima indulges him, every single time, without asking anything in return.

So yeah, Date was right when he said that Kiryu had something precious to live for. Haruka, yes but also this crazy bastard of a man who would refuse to leave him alone for the better part of 3 decades.

And Kiryu loves him, goddamnit. There's just no simpler way to say it.

Hello! How about some fluff? Neko cafe date h/c with the boys! 🐱

As someone who has a pet cat, hell to the yea we can do this. I visited a lot of cat cafes in college too before I got my cat and I love them! I even live near a bookstore with live in cats hehe, so yes you may have cat headcanons. Thanks for ur patience, mwah.

Kazuma Kiryu

Pretty reverant when it comes to animals and kind of lets the cats come to him. Can't get enough of seeing how happy you are to be here though. More than content to just sit back and smile as he watches you play with the kittens.

Majima Goro

Zero clue what to do around pets, ever. Doesn't matter what kind of pet. He's not scared of animals but he just doesn't know what they like or dislike. Gets pretty giddy when an animal responds positively, saying something like "Ah, ya like chin scratches do ya?" when a cat starts to purr, looking at you proudly.

Saejima Taiga

Very gentle and respectful of animals and pretty decent at reading their body language. Nothing is as cute as seeing Saejima sit gently holding the tiniest kitten in the whole cafe in his lap, lightly petting its head and smiling.

Akiyama Shun

Fond of fluffy cats in particular and will coo at them about how beautiful their long fur is. Kittens are iffy for him, he's kind of worried he'd step on them? For some reason? Loves watching you play with them though.

Tanimura Masayoshi

Loves animals, especially the kittens. Engages with the string or stick toys a lot and makes little mews back at the kittens when they talk to him. Would even get down on the ground just to be at the cat's level.

Ryuji Goda

More of a dog person but the ice starts to break once a kitten tries to clumsily climb its way over his broad shoulders. He's annoyed for a split second before seeing how happy the moment makes you. From then on, he's steady as a mountain as the kitten fumbles its way from his right shoulder to his left. Maybe he can get into this cat thing after all?

Nishikiyama Akira

Kind of follows your lead, although he does love to give the cats treats. He does this cute thing where he'll pick out two cats that are most like the two of you.

Daigo Dojima

Didn't have pets growing up so he's pretty unfamiliar with what to do around cats. It's quite adorable to see the sixth chairman of the Tojo Clan gingerly hold his hand out for a curious cat to sniff, eventually gently scratching behind the cat's ears and gently smiling to himself.

Mine Yoshitaka

Not much of an animal person but he does love to admire the elegant appearance of a cat. Doesn't really go for kittens much and won't do much playing but does like to find a nice spot to sit next to a calmer adult cat, especially one that's sleeping, and just gently stroking its fur in silence.

Tatsuo Shinada

Something about this man just attracts kittens. They'll just kind of swarm him the second he sits down. Maybe it's his jovial attitude but they just want to play with him from the moment he walks in. He kind of just laughs through it, amused by their little meows.

Ichiban Kasuga

Literally love at first sight with every cat he sees. Adores animals and thinks each one is a precious angel. Would forgive a cat for biting him on the face, actually. Out of all the boys, he's the most likely to suggest a neko cafe date himself.

Tianyou Zhao

Likes to just sit and bap a ball around on the floor for the cats to chase. All smiles throughout the date, just has a grand time in general. Would give each cat a little kiss on the head if he could.

Joon-Gi Han

Has known about cat cafes for a while but never really got to go to one, mostly due to his line of work. Just kind of takes it all in, watching the cats play and enjoying a warm drink all while smiling a little to himself. This is nice. He could get used to doing things like this with you more often.

It was rare for InariHimari to be live on a Saturday. When the channel was first created, the creator only streamed on Sundays since that was the only day off she had between her weekday job as a hotel concierge and her Saturday gig as a cabaret club hostess. For five years, she worked herself to the bone and only found solace and relaxation in the low-key ‘studying’ streams she did at first. Even now, barely a month since she officially retired from both jobs and became a full-time streamer, she still didn’t go live on what can arguably be considered the best day of the week to livestream. Weeknights full of games and Sunday study sessions, but nothing on Saturdays.

And yet here was Himari sitting at her gaming setup with her LED fox-eared headphones and streaming for the approximately two hundred people that made up her audience. It was microscopic compared to the Twitch powerhouses advertised on the website’s front page, but Himari didn’t care. This was her crowd, her people, perhaps even her friends. Individuals who took precious time out of their lives to spend up to multiple hours with her just because they found her entertaining. She would forever be grateful to all of them and can only strive to get better at this so that they can be proud of her.

“Alright!” Himari said with a quick clap of her hands. “I want to try a new game to spice things up here. Do you guys have any suggestions?”

Almost instantly, the chat flooded with game suggestions. Himari had to lean in to read each title as it crawled up the screen. A majority of them seemed to be games that have just been released, which meant they would cost a pretty penny.

“Let me rephrase that.” Himari chuckled. “Do you guys have any cheap game suggestions? Not trying to go broke over a game I may or may not like.”

Her clarification made the suggestions slow down (most-likely due to viewers searching for potential titles to fit the criteria) until the chat was back to its low-speed scroll. It wasn’t long until one message from one of the channel moderators caught Himari’s eye:

cosmomemory: You should play Pocket Circuit LIVE! cosmomemory: It’s free and all you need is an online account to play

“’Pocket Circuit LIVE’?” A low whistle followed as she leaned back in her chair. “I remember when those little cars were popular back in the eighties. Damn. Now I feel old.”

The chat erupted in shocked and angry-looking emojis, along with a plethora of messages:

fanguu: EXCUSE ME???? brahkest: ma’am you are FORTY looneyzune: HIMARI FORTY ISNT OLD tabbitha44: i know this woman did not just say she was old baybee_bat: boo kokokub: oh no better get granny hima to a nursing home

Himari couldn’t help but laugh at the response. “Alright, alright. I take it back. It just makes me feel slightly older than I really am.”

brahkest: yeah thats what we thought looneyzune: THIN ICE HIMA! tabbitha44: >:(

Another chuckle escaped the streamer before she finally looked up Pocket Circuit LIVE. It took about twenty minutes in total for her to make a new account and download the game to her computer before finally booting it up.

“Oh wow!” Himari gawked at the vibrant colors of the menu screen. “This is really starting to remind me of the original toys…”

It wasn’t much longer until she was officially starting the game. The tutorial was easy enough to understand, but once she really started getting into the races with other online users, the true complexity made itself known. The embarrassment of losing her first four races on the easiest speed setting had very much sank in by the time Himari looked over at chat.

Himari didn’t have to look at her face-cam to know her face was a sheepish red. You’d think someone who’s been somewhat playing games professionally for five years now would at least figure out how to play a game as simple as Pocket Circuit LIVE, right? This was a game mostly played by kids! How could she of all people not get it?

After a couple more seconds of reading the mix of supportive and teasing messages in the chat, Himari took a deep breath and sat up straight.

“Alright,” She said, giving her face-cam her best confident smile. “I’ll try one more race. If I lose again, we’ll just cut our losses and play something else. Deal?”

Just then, a chime played through her headset’s speakers just as a pop-up message appeared on the screen layover at the same time as an identical message appeared in the chat:

JudgementKazzy has raided you with a party of 243 viewers!

Himari’s somewhat-false confidence melted away as a rush of shock flooded her and her eyes widened at the notification. She sat there frozen for what felt like a while before slowly blinking her eyes.

“That’s not…” Her voice trailed off as she swallowed. “That’s not real, is it?”

Just to be sure, she glanced at the chat.

brahkest: WHAT looneyzune: HYLDJGOFD looneyzune: HI UNCLE KAZ!!!! fanguu: WHAT IS UNCLE KAZ DOING HERE?!?!? cosmomemory: I LOOK AWAY FOR TWO SECONDS AND cosmomemory: UNCLE KAZ SHOWS UP????? aquaortus: lmfao he sensed the pocket circuit baybee_bat: omfg hi new people!!

“Holy shit.” Himari blurted out before holding a hand over her mouth, still very much in shock and/or disbelief as the chat continued to unravel.

fishki_nyama: Good evening, Hima-chan! ;) brahkest: NISHIKI!!! fanguu: HOW THE FRICK IS NISHIKI HERE??? looneyzune: IS THIS ACTUALLY HAPPENING? looneyzune: ARE WE ACTUALLY WITNESSING THIS?? brahkest: APPARENTLY cosmomemory: N I S H I K I ? ? cosmomemory: himari you gotta win now deerstalker28: watch shes gonna win five in a row now that the king of pocket circuit is here aquaortus: @ deerstalker28 lol we can only hope

That was as much of her regulars’ messages Himari could read before the chat got flooded with greetings and emoji spams from the new viewers. She was still barely wrapping her head around the sudden raid from one of her favorite streamers of all time. Was Kazuma Kiryu really watching her stream right now? Did he actually bring his viewers to watch her?

What do you mean he knows she exists?

“Oh, wow.” Himari managed to say before attempting to clear her throat. “Hey there, newcomers. I’m… Geez, this has really took me off guard.” She let out a breathy awkward chuckle. “Erm… Okay so, hi. I’m InariHimari, but you can call me Himari or just Hima. I… damn, this is really throwing me for a loop! I’m honestly speechless, I can barely introduce myself.”

As if on cue, another chime played and Himari looked to see a different pop-up:

JudgementKazzy has donated $10.00!

“What the-“

“I heard you were trying out Pocket Circuit LIVE for the first time.” The automated voice of the Text-To-Speech played out over the stream audio. “My chatroom and I wanted to come and show our support.”

If Himari’s face wasn’t red from the embarrassment of the earlier losses, the fact that her favorite streamer is not only in her audience right now but has also donated ten dollars to show support was more than enough to turn her face as bright red as a tomato. She could only stare wide-eyed at her computer monitor (which was still displaying the post-match summary screen from the race she lost ten minutes ago) while chat continued to go wild over what was unfolding in real time. Thankfully, she was able to snap out of it in time to see a few new messages appear in chat:

JudgementKazzy: In order to win a race, you might want to customize your racer with the best components for the race you plan on doing. JudgementKazzy: Body, wheels, etc. JudgementKazzy: It might not seem like it, but these really do affect the outcome if you are new to the game. JudgementKazzy: As you currently are ;)

Himari would have blushed at the playfulness that last message seemed to imply had her face not already been so flushed already. Instead, she cleared her throat and adjusted her posture for the second time that night.

“Alright, then.” She said, placing her hand on her mouse and clicking off the summary screen to open a new race.

Through the delayed speed of the stream’s chat, Kiryu gave simple and helpful advice as Himari took baby steps in customizing her car. It was ridiculous to an extent, a grown woman playing an online racing game while being instructed by a man the same age as to how to best customize the digital car in order to win the digital race. But who cared? She was having fun and so was her audience! Wasn’t that what streaming was all about?

And besides, if this was the only way for her to interact with her favorite creator, she was gonna do whatever she could to make it last as long as she possibly could.

Sure enough, taking Kiryu’s advice paid off as Himari won the next five consecutive races, earning herself a few gatcha pulls that in turn won her a few rare items that would make her race better in the future.

“Sweet!” Himari pumped her fist in the air. “That was really fun. I can see how people can get real addicted to games like this.” She then turned to look at the chat. “I think now’s a great place to stop for now. Don’t wanna get too lost into it, you know?”

Sure enough, there was a few messages from Kiryu a few moments later:

JudgementKazzy: You did great, Himari. You’re picking up on it really quick. JudgmentKazzy: Hopefully I’ll be able to tune in for your next Pocket Circuit stream?

Himari grinned at Kiryu’s messages. “That… That would be awesome, Kiryu. You’re always welcomed here with me and my chat. Hope you have a great night!”

JudgementKazzy: Same to you! Have a great stream! JudgementKazzy: :)

And with that, Himari logged off of Pocket Circuit LIVE for the night and moved on to play a visual novel another chat member recommended.

But the whole time, she couldn’t get rid of the lingering feeling of butterflies in her stomach.

Listen y’all I just woke up and had the most cracked yet self explanatory headcanon

Goto Ryuji and Lim Tae-Gyu are relatives, and even so are either brothers or cousins separated at early childhood.

That’s literally coming from me mistaking them first time I read SL BUT BEAR WITH ME OKAY I HAVE GOLDFISH MEMORY SPAWN

ANYWAY

Consider them both being born in Japan, and after boys were born their parents broke their marriage and while Ryuji stayed with his father in Japan, mother took Fuuka (aka future Tae-Gyu) with her to South Korea for her new future husband. Since she married into new family, she changed her name as well as Fuuka’s hence Lim Tae-Gyu appeared.

Years roll by and it’s first proper meeting with Japanese S ranks, Tae-Gyu knows what they all are saying without translator because for some reason his mother knew Japanese perfectly for some reason and was hell bent on him also knowing it as second language also for some reason, but he never bothered to inform anyone.

And then Goto Ryuji himself enters the scene, and oh suddenly it becomes too quiet as everyone just stare at two men with uncanny levels of resemblance.

Tae-Gyu is just confused why everyone is suddenly so quiet and staring, and he’s especially unnerved by Ryuji’s really intense stare that has usual levels of threat in it but also searching, almost painfully hopeful.

Apparently Ryuji knows he had a brother because he remembers him vaguely and his father always told about him. Tae-Gyu has no proper memories of his early childhood and his mother never really spoke about her previous marriage either, only small specks of Japanese here and there which confused Tae-Gyu.

All Ryuji says after a really long uncomfortable silence is

‘Fuuka’

and Tae-Gyu instantly tenses, starting to glare at Ryuji in return because only his mother ever called him this name at home and it was so precious and personal it IS offending to hear it from a complete stranger even if it’s said with equal undertones of shared understanding and intimacy.

‘Fuuka, did mother allow you to keep Kiryu?’

And oh, that one was a low blow for Tae-Guy because Kiryu - a really old, clearly clumsily child-made plush dragon toy was one of the few things he had from his early childhood and was really attached to, for some reason. He deduced it was probably a gift from someone really important to him back then, because no matter what mother always made sure it’s taken care of and he always had a childish sentiment for it.

‘… How— How do you know about this—‘

And oh, he didn’t even notice slipping to perfect, not accented Japanese. Honestly? He doesn’t care at the moment, because fearsome Goto Ryuji knowing your other name and about your childhood plushie is disturbing.

Lim Tae-Gyu né Goto Fuuka, is confused and disturbed and angry but also terrified and somewhat hopeful. He doesn’t know why man before him knows such important, personal details no one knows, and it scares him.

Goto Ryuji is conflicted, both happy and disturbed. Here, before him, stands his long lost brother whom his mother took away to different county and wasn’t heard of ever since. There’s such a giant void between them, and Ryuji doesn’t know how to cross it and mend relationship with his brother without appearing like a creep with absolutely unbelievable story.

Everyone on side silently watch two stone faced men, who look almost like a mirror reflection, have a silent inner mental breakdown.

Being Shu's gn sibling💛

• Being Shu's sibling you both are either really close or really separated. But in this case, you guys are close, like separation anxiety close.

• Since Shu was bullied, he had no other friends to share his feelings to so he trusts you a lot (before meeting Kiryu). But after becoming friends with Kuro, Shu introduced him to you. You just stood there behind Shu, with your head peaking out from the side as you stared at the stranger.

• Shu is protective of you because he is afraid that you would leave him and he would be alone. His behavior made you develop a difficulty in socializing with others so you just stayed by his side.

• When Shu first met Mika he was reluctant to introduce you to him. So he didn't(you got mad at him for that) but you soon found out about Mika when he first came to Yumenosaki. You guys are basically in the same class.

• You really like Mika and he likes you too, you are like a sister to him. Its a surprise that you both got along since like I said before your social skills aren't good. Whenever Shu is being mean to Mika you would approach his frowning figure and give him a small candy. His bright smile just made your day.🍬🍭

• You were probably the one who requested Shu to let Mika join the Valkyrie as a back-up dancer. Took a lot of convincing for Shu to accept Mika as a member in Valkyrie but once he did you were literally jumping up on him.

• That's when Shu realized how much you adore Mika and it honestly made him kinda worried. So he kept an eye on Mika for a while until he trusted him.

• When Shu was being harsh on Nito and Mika during the war, you would make them small snacks in an attempt to cheer them up. I can see you caressing their hair as they lay down on your lap, this calms them down.

• After the war is over and Shu was in his depressed phase, you and Mika took care of him. That was the time when Shu started to actually care for Mika and that really made you happy.

• Shu trusts you in Mika's hand. He's more considerate of Mika now, asking for his opinion when making a new outfit, waiting for Mika before you and him go home, or just including him in small conversations.

"What do you think of this colour, Kagehira?" Shu asked

"Ngh!, yer're asking me oshi San?"

"who else would I ask," Shu annoyingly said

• During shopping for fabrics, you and Mika would hide behind Shu when someone comes and tries to intimidate you both. Shu came running to you guys from the other aisle to save the day. He would scold the stranger until they went away and then allow both of you to cling to his arm.

• Shu loves to make you cute little outfits that fits his aesthetics and whenever he sees you wearing them he would proudly announces it to anyone who decided to converse with them.

• You like to make accessories during your free time for Shu and Mika. When Shu found out you not only made these small gifts for him, he got jealous. Shu would include those accessories in his outfit while Mika would usually put it in his treasure box with all the other accessories you made for him.

"Kagehira! What do you think of my outfit today?" Shu said with a proud smile.

"Ya add the gift that Y/N gave! Look they gave it to me too! Just in a different colour hehe" Mika was excited because now you, him, and Shu can be matching.

"humm, but mine was obviously made with better quality and the details are much more intricate than yours!" Jealous Shu is a mean Shu

• Overall Shu is just a brave, protective, and loving brother to you and you, as his sibling, he feels this need to care for you. You are his precious little brother/sister and he love you lots. Mika on the other hand is like your best friend. He too, cares for you even without Shu's orders. He sometimes sees you as his sibling too since he is staying in the same mansion with you.

• You love them lots and couldn't think of a day where you would leave them.♥️♥️
