More TKT questions : Can you explain how Kinn's bondmark got on Porsche? Why didn't it grow on Kinn? or why wasn't it posible for it to be transfered to Kinn ? I get that Kinn's seed is a no go for growth, but what about the rest of his body?
Do KinnPorsche get to experience soul recognition now that there are two bondmarks? Porsche is the one that felt Kinn's vine grow so …can Kinn even feel the vine at all?

DISCLAIMER: I may not be able to explain this in a way that makes sense outside of my head.
Think of soulmates as being connected by a metaphysical tether.
Soulmarks (or seeds) are like a window that grant a very small, limited view into that metaphysical connection or tether.
The removal of a seed is basically like filling up the whole damn room with concrete to block the window. This doesn't break the tether. NOTHING breaks the tether. It just means the view of the tether is completely cut off.
There is no do-over for this. A seed can't remanifest.
See, the window is only blocked from the inside. It still exists on the outside, and by outside I'm referring to OUTSIDE the physical body, in the metaphysical world. (For all intents and purposes in the physical world, the seed has been removed. The physical manifestation is destroyed, and it becomes an ashy-looking scar.)
When a seed is destroyed, the bondmark will still grow when the soulmates come into contact, but only on the metaphysical plane.
Here's where it gets fun.
Some plants? Are very good at spreading. Like vines. And mosses. (Somewhere, scientists are screaming.)
The rangoon creeper bondmark that should have grown on Kinn grew along the connecting tether all the way back to Porsche and crept through his seed (reminder, it's not a literal seed, more like a window) to creep up the ratchaphruek. The rangoon creeper started growing behind the trunk of the tree, which was why they couldn't see it at first.
And before anyone asks, no, this "backgrowth" (as I like to think of it) wouldn't happen as long as the mark could manifest on the intended bearer. Bondmarks are a wee bit like the One Ring? They want to be found seen.
Do KinnPorsche get to experience soul recognition now that there are two bondmarks?
No, they can't experience soul recognition.
As a reader, I get frustrated with "easy outs." In life, there are consequences to actions, losses that cannot be undone, and I want my writing to reflect that. I feel like with TKT, I found a good balance between consequences and rewards.
Porsche is the one that felt Kinn's vine grow so …can Kinn even feel the vine at all?

kinda love that in my last 3 years of being on tumblr i went from “it’s ok to ship chengxian because they are not *technically* brother” to watching kinnporsche and thinking that korn telling porsche, who was totally fucking horrified after hearing that his mother was korn’s sister (you know, korn, the father of his boyfriend who he’s in love with and who he recently sucked off on a helicopter), that “it’s actually ok, because she wasn’t my sister by blood, she was adopted, so it’s fine really, nothing to worry about” is the stupidest shit in the world cause
a) this does not make it ok that you hid this fact from them in the first place like that’s some important fucking info
b) does not make her not his sister, therefore this does not magically make porsche and kinn not brothers*
c) doesn’t necessary make them brothers too but that’s another conversation for their fucked up family to have some other day idc
d) all of the above does nothing to stop me from shipping them obvs
e) does nothing to stop them from still being together and fucking obvs
f) they’re fucking brothers (fucking brothers and fucking brothers wink wink) how the fuck saying this would make it okay to hide this from them shut the fuck up dude

i’ve never seen a more clear and clever way to show a character giving away their heart. this comes right after tay told kinn to let his heart go, to uncage it. so kinn sneaks out of the hospital to give porsche his lucky gun aka his heart
i just. it’s so fitting and perfect that his gun, a thing of violence and explosiveness and the very symbol of kinn’s life, is also the symbol for his heart. he’s giving away his protection, leaving himself somewhat vulnerable, which is how he feels giving his heart away—especially after whatever happened with tawan
i don’t know if i’m making total sense since i just finished the ep at 5am, but i haven’t stopped thinking about that scene since
