i’ve been questioning octopi species for a long long time and i have just confirmed the large pacific striped octopus (also known as the harlequin octopus)!!!!!

that’s me :)

Kinfirming Dragonkin!

I am Kinfirming that I am a dragon, it’s interesting because I never really were interested into dragons, but it just goes to show you don’t have to like the creature in order to be it. Same thing with my Coyote theriotype.

However, I am a fur dragon not scales. I’m not sure if there is a name for a fur dragon. If so, please let me know.

Guess who just changed their theriotype again!

Well, not really changed, but confirmed. For years now I’ve just assumed I was some kind of wolfdog- like a wolf, but much more tame. I’m smaller, I’m much more playful and excitable than a forest wolf, and I know I’m darkly colored. Which was always strange to me, because darkly colored wolves live in cold areas, right? But I never had any dream-shifts in cold areas, always near rivers or water and in wet, mossy or rocky areas. I’ve always loved fish and I’m actually a pescatarian, which was a little strange because I never had a taste for red meat and I know many wolves do.

Well today I was scrolling on tiktok (yeah, of all places) and someone named off “sea wolf” as a possible theriotype/kintype. Obviously I was like, wtf is a sea wolf? So I went down a rabbit hole of research and guess what!! I totally am one! Sea wolves can be darkly colored, they dwell near the coast and eat lots of fish and play in water, and are generally smaller/more energetic wolves!

So, I don’t have many followers but I still think this is important enough to post about :)

I am public about being a dog therian, but for the past 4 years (yes, that is a very long time) I’ve also known that I am fictionkin. I know one of my IRL friends is wondering why I never said anything, so I’m mostly making this for them.

My fictotype of 4 years is Miles Morales from Spiderman Into The Spiderverse. The first time I watched that movie I felt something very, very strong about Miles. Nothing good or bad, just strong.

I have been obsessed with Spiderman since I was only 5 years old. Every comic, dvd, action figure, poster, toy, I had to have it. At first, it seemed like a regular childhood hobby or even a hyper fixation due to my mental health.

When I was around 10, I knew for a fact I was a dog therian so by the time Spiderverse came out, I was already aware of fictionkin and what they were.

After some extra research, rewatching the movie, and thinking about my Spiderman-centric childhood I “kinfirmed” that I was Miles Morales.

This was 4 years ago. Now that you have the backstory, I need to explain why I have not said anything until now.

I’m not actually sure I have a good explanation. I honestly just never thought about it. The Spidermen have been the main focus of my life since toddlerhood and I have no doubt they will be until I’m a senior citizen. Being one of the Spidermen is such a basic thing for me, that I don’t even think about it. It’s like breathing, it’s natural and happens without constant thought.

I know it’s not the best explanation but it’s the only one I have. Just remember, I love you guys and if you ever need saving, I’m here for you. ~Love, Miles
