i’m tired of people thinking that chay is some innocent uwu baby boy. here’s why:

1.) he’s a fanboy, do you know what goes down in fandom spaces? if you don’t, pls take a look at the kinnporsche ao3 😭

2.) he’s genz. all of us were exposed to the internet when we were wayyyy too young. he’s deffo seen some shit. there’s no way he doesn’t curse, at least in his head, and he knows what sex is. don’t pretend he’s stupid.

semi-au where chay doesn't show up at Kim's place to sing to him so when Kim meets up with him after tasking him with writing a love song and asks to hear his progress chay looks him in the eye and chirps 'sure p'kim!'

and then proceeds to sing sara bareilles' Love Song

Kim rolls his eyes and figures he'll stop after the first chorus but no, this pain in the ass keeps eye contact as he sings the whole. damn. song.

and then he grins at Kim like the little shit he is.

'well p'kim? did you like it?'

it's at this point Kim realises two things

1. chay is a gremlin

2. Kim is so gone for him its raced past funny and straight into terrifying

Kim doesn't get a chance to speak before there's a knock at the door and chay flounce off with an unmistakable air of smugness. Kim doesn't even take a second to panic before looking around for something to write his excuses on before he ghosts his way out of chays life just as quickly as he'd entered it.

I am a Kim apologist. Do I think he loves Porschay? No, not yet. But I DO believe he is falling for Chay. I think he struggles to feel worthy of being loved and this utter ball of sunshine is completely devoted to him and that scares the man.

But you cannot deny his actions in this episode. He might not have been able to SAY "I love you", but his actions definitely - at the very least - says "I care enough about you to come save you.

He's not ready to accept his feelings, and is probably going to hurt Chay. But, I think Chay was also okay with it right now because he understands this is all a lot more recent for Kim.
