(content warning: hobi’s enlistment)
“Yoonmi,” Hoseok poked his head into the kitchen to find her focused on cooking them dinner, “you know that this is all unnecessary, right? I would have been fine with just takeout or something.”
The younger girl looked up at him, face scrunched in a mix of mock anger and offence, “No, you’re getting a nice home cooked meal for dinner and for breakfast tomorrow, and you’re not gonna go to your camp alone tomorrow.”
“My manager is driving me.”
Upon her sharp look, Hoseok just raised his hands in surrender and chuckled. He made his way to the sink to wash the dishes he knew she wouldn’t need anymore. It was quick, since Yoonmi was efficient with the materials she used for cooking, so he set the table for the two of them as well.
Even then, he finished just as she started grilling the meat and plating the kimchi fried rice. She put her complete focus and care into fixing up food for him despite the fact that she was in the middle of her midterms.
“Oppa, please stop staring at me,” she came to the dining table to place the dish of grilled beef in front of him. “I feel like I’m under a microscope.”
He chuckled and got up to carry the—much heavier—big bowl of kimchi fried rice for her, “Just taking you in, makdungie. I finally get it when Jin hyung said his last day before entrance was a day he’ll vividly remember.”
He came back to find her giving him her own solid stare. He laughed at her and poked her forehead, just between her eyebrows, as soon as he set the fried rice down on the table. This made her huff, which led to more of his laughter in return.
“I have to,” he defended himself while sitting across from her, “because you know how we can’t really check up on people outside camp for the first few weeks.”
One of her hands slipped from the table, tugging at the ends of her hair while he scooped some rice onto her plate. He gave her a pointed glance, silently telling her to stop the habit.
“You’re coming to my graduation, though,” she moved to place meat on his plate instead to keep her hands busy, “right?”
Hoseok smiled at her. “I already got the appropriate timing and method to file a leave from Jin hyung. All seven if us will be there, makdungie. Don’t worry.”
She smiled at him, gesturing to start eating. “I’m holding you to that. I love you, don’t forget.”
“I love you more, makdungie.”

Survivor Narrative Structure
I know a lot of writers discuss various story structure, but a lot of it is trapped in this small bubble of Western styles that don't take into the full breadth of the diversity of story structures. This article by Kim Yoonmi touches on some other styles: Worldwide Story Structures. It's worth a look. You can read it here. For this short essay, I wanted to talk about a lesser known but often used story structure that I see crop up in television shows, movies, books, and various other media. This structure sometimes overlaps with others, but there's key differences that I think makes it distinct. I call it the Survivor Narrative.
A good example of the Survivor Narrative is Legend of Korra. Each season is structured around a movement/event that can devastate the people within that place/area/society. Korra and her Krew then must untangle the truth of what is happening, and it causes great trauma when they have their big confrontation. They survive and must then heal.
I also found several Marvel movies followed an adaptation of this story structure. For an example, see Moonknight; it's is a story that deconstructs the protagonist's mental illness, while the protagonist and his wife deal with a pressing issue that impact many societies at once. Each step of the Survivor's Journey was touched upon in the show.
Let's take a look at the narrative, shall we?
Introduction of players. Within this stage of the structure, we meet our protagonists. Survivor Narratives often rely on a group dynamic to be most effective, so it's rare for it to be a single protagonist (even in MoonKnight, its technically a duo or should I saw quartet if we include the multiple personalities, which all played a specific role in the group dynamics). The world itself is also introduced as a player within this story, and the antagonist(s) are revealed indirectly. The biggest key point is after the main introduction of players, we are given a glimpse of the issue/problem that is impacting the society, antagonist(s), and protagonists. This is where the stage is set for the following steps.
Untangling and/or investigating the causes of disturbance and harm. In this stage, the issue that is harming the society/community/group has become more visible and intense. The protagonists then investigate to try to understand the issue and seek a resolution. In this stage, investigation and/or infiltration is commonly used, but direct confrontation or political machinations can also appear. This stage has a lot of diversity in how the investigation is portrayed to be honest.
Reveal of the antagonist(s)' "Solution" to the issue/problem. This is the turning point of the narrative, where the antagonist(s) are fully revealed often with their "solution" to the issue/problem. This digs into the antagonists' philosophical views and why they are doing what they're doing. There is always an element to the antagonist(s) concerns and reasons that have a valid point that troubles the protagonists, where they wonder if they are really on the "good" side for "opposing" the antagonist.
Counter to the antagonist(s) "solution." Here our protagonists will encounter either another group of people or an individual or will discover in themselves a counter to the antagonist's "solution." It's a glimpse into an alternate way to solve the original issue that is causing harm to the community/society/group. The protagonists may even try to enact their solution before the antagonist (in this case a 'race against time element may appear as a side arc).
Failure to counter the antagonist. In this stage our protagonists fail at countering the antagonist's solution. If our protagonists attempted to enact their own solution first, they will always fail to do so in time. The antagonist always stays one step ahead. The antagonist(s) will begin to initiate their "solution" at this point.
Final Confrontation. Here is the moment of realization and full impact of the antagonist(s) solution on the people of this society/world/group and on the protagonists. This tends to lead to a confrontation whether directly or indirectly between the protagonists and the antagonist(s). At this point, very little can stop the antagonist(s)' enactment of the full layers of their "solution" to the issue/problem facing the larger society/group/world.
Defeat of Antagonist OR Retreat of Protagonists to Try Again Another Day. For this stage, it can go two ways. The protagonists can, through great trauma and pain, manage to defeat the antagonist, but doing so has a very, very high cost. The impact of the antagonist(s)' "solution" will still be reverberating through the world/group/society, which is a collective trauma that the protagonists then must aid in repairing. OR the protagonists fail and must retreat, upon which this entire narrative will repeat itself in the next attempt at resolving the original issue. If the protagonists retreat, they will end up with more than just the original issue to resolve, because now they must contend with the consequences of the antagonists' "solution" and any collective trauma that resulted.
Recovery period. This is perhaps the most crucial stage of this entire narrative. The protagonists deal with the heavy consequences of their fight to resolve the harmful issue and stop the antagonists' "solution." Trauma is part of that heavy cost, and a healing arc is often introduced in this part of the narrative. That healing arc will enter into the Survivor Narrative as an additional issue when the cycle repeats itself for the aftermath/impact of prior stages and/or for any new issues/antagonist(s).
So those are the main stages of the Survivor Narrative. I find that most stories that utilize it seem to hit each of those eight parts fairly consistently.
As an example, Legend of Korra follows this narrative fairly accurately, even in the individual character arcs, in particular Korra's and Asami's character arcs -- follow this same format, though for them their "issue" or "problem" relates to the core of their identity, the trauma they've gained from the larger story, and their fears/weaknesses/flaws that impact their healing. To overcome and heal from their trauma and stay true to their core, they undergo the survivor narrative, where they face both an external antagonist and/or event that causes and/or exacerbates their trauma and an internal antagonist that can sabotage their healing journey.
Let's take a look at the larger story to see how the Survivor Narrative fits into Book 1 of Legend of Korra. Note that some of these stages of the narrative overlap in episodes, and that's perfectly fine. Multiple stages can happen in parallel, just as individual character arcs can also happen in parallel:
We are introduced to Avatar Korra, Republic City, Tenzin and his family, people in the city who struggle against a complicated and painful issue that impact their lives, and the start of Korra's "Krew." We see indirectly the antagonist and his promises of a "solution" to the problem/issue of inequality between benders and nonbenders.
After we get to know the characters a little better, the Krew starts to investigate the problem and the antagonist's "solution." This is sped along when Bolin goes missing. We see the flyers the Equalists have put out, we see some of the tensions between the nonbenders and benders, we hear from the homeless in the city, and we see a glimpse into the rich strata and bender council.
The Reveal of the Antagonist's "solution" happens during the episode where Mako and Korra race to save Bolin from this "reveal." This is also when the tensions between benders and nonbenders begin to escalate in painful ways. We also are give a new addition to the Krew with Asami Sato, whose father plays a major role in the "reveal" of the "solution."
Several "counters" to the antagonist's solution is put forward by the Bender Council, by the homeless population of Republic City, and by Asami's role within the Krew. Aang's solution also appears within Korra's past life visions.
The failure of all counters to the antagonist's solution devastates Republic City, and the Krew is on the run. The city is imperiled, the antagonist is now leading a revolution, and all benders are in danger of of the genocidal "solution" that Amon touts.
The Krew has a Final Confrontation, where Republic City's navy is devastated by the antagonists, where Asami and Bolin confront Asami's father, where Korra and Mako confront Amon. Great trauma and hefty consequences hit all of our protagonists during this confrontations. Asami is nearly killed by her own father, leaving her with lasting mental trauma. Korra loses her bending to Amon's "solution." Republic City loses majority of their naval force and many of their districts are damaged, and a large segment of their populace "purified" by Amon's "solution."
Defeat of Amon, Hiroshi Sato (Asami's father), and the Equalist movement in large succeeds, but it is at a great cost. Nonbender and bender relations are heavily stressed, there's great damage to the city, Korra has lost her bending, Asami's has lost her family, a lot of benders have lost their bending.
The Recovery phase is when the Krew head South for Korra to seek Katara for healing. Here Korra is confronted with the full agony of her condition, and while she contemplates suicide, her past lives appear to offer her healing and a path forward. This is a very compressed healing arc (but we'll see a much longer healing arc for Korra after the events of Book 3, which is another Book that follows this narrative to a teeth). Book 1 ends with the recovery phase going on in earnest for Republic City, Asami, and the other characters. It's not till Book 2 that we will see the full extent of how this recovery goes.
Yes, I simplified the analysis above as I did not cover the individual character arcs, but I believe the above works well enough to illustrate how to apply this particular storytelling narrative.
In my opinion, I find the Survivor Narrative to be an extremely powerful and moving story structure when written well.
I also feel like the Survivor Narrative is often misunderstood because Western Media pushes the Hero's journey and/or were trapped in this idea that there was only one way to write conflict (often seen as a triangle diagram, Freytag's pyramid). This can cause friction with material that doesn't use that structure, where people claim it's "bad writing" or "too confusing."
But if we take a step back and look at these stories from a different perspective, to examine their structure through a wider lens, we see that they make perfect sense. There is a solid and good structure there, and the writing often is really good (yes, there's always exceptions but still).
The Japan's story structure of Kishotenketsu often is fused with the Survivor Narrative to add further depth to the protagonist(s), antagonist(s), and the place (setting, society, group in general that is impacted by the issue/problem). This fusion of narratives shows up in Legend of Korra, but also in a lot of Japanese Anime and Manga.
There is lovely diversity in how this narrative structure is applied, partly because one can partner the Survivor Narrative to various Non-Western (and even Western) story structures, where the fusion creates a more interesting tale. That is also why I love it so much. People's creativity and how they layer this narrative style with other styles of story structures makes the Survivor Narrative fairly unique and moving.
Let me know if you all have questions. I hope this write-up helps inspire some of you to explore this type of narrative structure!

Hi Kim. Interesting page. I would like to contribute on story structure with Edgar Allen Poe and his Philosophy of Composition. It's an article and can be read in full text on the net. (couldn't post a link here). All the best Joachim Bergenstråhle
Honestly, I can't help people who think that "Kim" in a Korean name is somehow their given name. lol Do you think Kim Jong Un's given name is also Kim? Probably explains things like "Eleanor and Park" by Rainbow Rowell and "Katana" by Cole Gibson which had a JAPANESE character with the given name of "Kim".... lol But seriously, think a bit harder on this one. Why are people so preoccupied with "Kim" no matter where I put it, and can't type Yoonmi. So many Kims in Korea. lol our surname is a retcon grift, though, mostly to kiss Royal Lee's butts.
Thank you for the tip off. But the research for that era is complete and I'm not that invested in White cishet men (Poe was not abled), in general. I wanted to answer a question, which I did. That question was the shift from morality in Shakespeare's time, to emotionality during the rise of the Gothic Novel, to conflict later--what caused it and when and who.
And I answered that hands down: Aristotle(Morality)->Shakespeare (Morality)->John Locke (Emotionality)->(Kinda) Freytag (Emotionality)->Percy Lubbock (Not het, but tried to pass until people found out and tried to retcon him out of existence with mostly Barthes, because homophobic assholes).
Poe is trying to not talk story structure, if you read carefully, but about Short story and what a "singular" effect was, which is in line with other short story writing manuals, which to be clear came before novel writing manuals. (He, as expected, argues for emotionality as the story driver, not conflict. No big surprise, it's in line with what Lucy Worsley argued and everyone else from that era.) A singular effect in novels was argued against readily by A Study of a Novel by Selden Whitcomb and also Virginia Woolf, etc. Rowe messed that one up by plagiarizing. "Rules" for writing didn't so much exist in the 19th century as such. The closest we get to early on rules is the debates about morality tales, naturalism, etc.
I'm currently working through 1970's-1980's author writing books--ones that actually had impact based on later surveys of writing books that referenced them.
Kinda interesting.
One side: Men are in love with structuralism, a whole ton and there is increased literary importation from France compared to previous eras (I can't find why and no one seems to know enough history to find out why) Mostly people are copy-pasting from Barthes and importing French texts from the 1960's on literary theory.
On the other side, minorities are trying to argue hard for "development" as a story driver. (This includes women and PoCs).
This argument is a continuation, BTW, of the one between Lubbock v. Forster/Woolf. The Modernists v. Structuralists, if you will. Kinda also, I should note, why White (Mostly Western) European and European Diaspora lit has this really odd split between super technical writing and genre which is absent in other regions.
My question, beyond the obvious is why did men win for "genre" fiction--was it really about commerciality only and suppression (I think Hayes codes had a lot to do with it) and the Modernists win for Literary. I'm thinking it's mostly hinging Barthes, who also argued for the need for Comparative Lit. Also from the era, women are doing feminist things like asking why Women's writing (And other minorities) has been historically suppressed and called "Wrong" (irony here).
So with my question answered and I have a pretty good picture of the 19th century with the diversity of Story structure and story drivers, meh to more cishet white men.
1990's--I've read a lot of the seminal writing books from that period from white cishet (mostly abled) men. But yeah... by then the split between "genre" and "Literary" is codified, so I'm trying to find when did it codify and why did women's voices (at least the white ones) lose so severely before then? BTW, White Cishet men finally get in around the early 2000's-about 2010's and start mentioning women in the writing advice books and PoCs. I think Globalization had a large effect and also 3rd and Fourth wave feminism loosened things from the stringent 1980's gender ideologies.
I appreciate the rec, but moving on. I also figured out (most) of the history of East Asian Lit on the 4-act and a few others which coincides with history.
Once I move, I'll resume elucidating both in the Youtube series.
BTW, this is why Death of the Author can be destructive--if you don't go over Literature history, you stand to lose it to retcons.

Yoonmi’s Relationships with BTS
(updated as of february 2024) (mentions of hangouts are all indicating before the members’ enlistments)
Tumblr media
JIN (Kim Seokjin)
Tumblr media
Since Yoonmi had become an adult, Seokjin had taken to treating her like an equal and rarely using his “oppa” card, which is a stark difference from when she was younger. Yes, she still goes to him for advice, and he is the one who still helps her with adult matters such as bills and taxes and lifestyle, but he also becomes a friend that she can mess around with like she’s with other friends around her age. In his mind, she still is a baby, but he understands that she’s matured, wants to be seen as more mature, and that she’d still see him as a parental figure no matter how old she gets. He likes to think this is her finally acting out since she’s always been a good kid.
Jinmi in ARMYs’ eyes: They enjoy witnessing how Seokjin always “cries” about how she’s grown so much. The shift in their dynamic was over the pandemic, and suddenly everyone could see that Yoonmi was more comfortably roughhousing with Seokjin, and he was responding more like he would to Jungkook rather than his previous shrugging off and fond smiles. Seeing them become more like similarly-aged friends really made ARMY realize how she had grown.
Iconic Moment: It was revealed through the BTS documentary on Disney+ that Yoonmi was the one who initially started cutting his hair off. She was given the shears by her stylist, and she was so hesitant while Jin just kept encouraging her with “How will I know if I look okay bald unless you start?”. So she cut his hair, only getting distracted a small bit when Yoongi and Jungkook came, then listened attentively as their stylist carefully explained what to do with the electric razor. She, with assistance from the stylist, evened out Seokjin’s shave until she stepped back, staring at him. “It looks good.” “Of course it does, look who you’re talking to”. The video cuts there, but the next of her seen in that context has teary eyes and is gripping tightly onto Yoongi’s hand.
SUGA (Min Yoongi)
Tumblr media
Yoongi is still very much her dad, that never changed The only thing that changed over the years is how they both actually address the fact that Yoongi is her father figure, second only to her adoptive father, and on level with her adoptive brother. Even the other members sometimes address Yoongi ad “Yoonmi’s dad” at this point. Yoongi and Yoonmi remained each other’s silent comfort person, the person who takes their side and hears them out first, and the person who they can go to when they feel overwhelmed. He’s there to hold her hand when things go wrong, and she’s there to give him a hug when things don’t go as planned.
2yoon in ARMYs’ eyes: Yoongi and Yoonmi is everyone’s comfort duo. When they’re together, there’s an air of warmth and calm, so everyone feels better after a long day when they watch 2yoon content. They find Yoongi’s care and the way Yoonmi looks up to him to the point of taking after him endearing, especially knowing Yoongi is the one Yoonmi never fought after their mysterious conflict in 2018.
Iconic Moment: Yoonmi went to all three days of the D-Day Tour finale. She, of course, did her feature on ‘Seven’ for Jungkook. During the ment where he kept them with him on stage, he thanked and praised Jungkook for ‘Burn It’ and ‘Seven’ before turning to Yoonmi. “And our princess, my daughter. She has something coming out this month and surprisingly didn’t want to spoil it—” “Surprisingly?” “— so she had a special request. As you all know, our Miya did the demo vocals of one of my previous mixtapes. I got to perform this song with our vocal line, but never with our princess. Until today.” So they performed ‘So Far Away,’ and the proud look on Yoongi’s face by the end as he looked at her made every ARMY feel like their troubles all disappeared.
J-HOPE (Jung Hoseok)
Tumblr media
Hoseok and Yoonmi treat each other like their own personal powerbanks. They could be tired, but, once they’ve spent time together, their energy levels go up. Yoonmi says that’s why she gravitates towards Hobi when drinking, because she’s usually a sleepy drunk. They like to escape together, as well, hanging out in the practice room or either of their studios where they experiment with different styles, genres, or just mess around to fuel their creativity. Of course, Hobi never stopped seeing her as his little prodigy, teaching her old school hiphop and openstyle dancing and watching her proudly while they learned new styles together.
Homi in ARMYs’ eyes: The two sunshines, that’s what they’re known as. Hobi brings in bright energy while Yoonmi makes everyone smile, making them everyone’s favorite duo to turn to when they want to laugh and get a pick-me-up. ARMYs love seeing Hobi treat Yoonmi like the little sister he’s never had but always wanted, too! Everyone knows both Hobi and his noona see Yoonmi as their youngest sibling at this point, which is why she even got Yoonmi to sing in her wedding reception.
Iconic Moment: Yoonmi vlogged her Lollapalooza experience, so some behind the scenes were uncovered there. Hoseok got Yoonmi to rehearse Chicken Noodle Soup with him while they were waiting for Becky, and the two ended up having so much fun that the band kept vamping the song, making it longer so the two could enjoy their mini cypher. “Oh, Yoona, you haven’t forgotten your basics!” “I have the best teacher!”
RM (Kim Namjoon)
Tumblr media
It used to be just Namjoon sitting to absorb and analyze the way Yoonmi’s mind works when they’re together. Now, she does the same to him, curious about his inner thoughts. They spend a lot of their time together having deeper conversations, whether it be about life, work, music, or just their thoughts. On the other side of things, they’re both clumsy dorks who geek out over their recent reads or watches together, actively showing interest in each other’s preferences because Namjoon wants to stay as someone who understands her almost best and Yoonmi wants to stay someone he can be proud of. Especially with Yoonmi, she wants to make her leader proud of her.
Joonmi in ARMYs’ eyes: Though ARMY initially thought they were awkward, that image disappeared. ARMYs see Joonmi and see a little sister looking to her older brother for validation, and him happily giving her that validation. ARMYs also enjoy the fact that these two together can go from 0 to 100 real quick, on any end of the meter. From just having lunch they can either go to talking about their plans for the future to being stuck in a laughing fit on the floor over a plastic utensil they’ve broken.
Iconic Moment: During the live with just the five of them, Yoonmi was a lot quieter compared to how she usually is. Namjoon kept glancing at her and tapping her leg to get her to talk. At some point, he bent to whisper something to her, then, when Taehyung opened his mouth, Namjoon quickly pushed a piece of pizza there. In his efforts to do so, he knocked over three cups. He looked at Yoonmi, who was now laughing, and he just nodded at himself in satisfaction.
JIMIN (Park Jimin)
Tumblr media
Yoonmi has not changed in Jimin’s eyes in the way that she’s still his youngest Busan Baby. Whenever she tells him she’s an adult now, he always pouts at her and goes on a spiel about how she’ll still be his baby even when they’re in their 80s and beyond that. He invites her over to his apartment a lot, or he just stays at her’s (partly because Jungkook and her niece are usually there as well) because he genuinely enjoys her company and being able to sit with her. He also takes every opportunity he can get to give her princess treatment because he believes she should always be treated like Bangtan’s princess (even though she’s trying to shake off the delicate image that had somehow formed over the years)
Minmi in ARMYs’ eyes: Minmi are both very very affectionate, with their habit of holding onto each other unknowingly. ARMYs have so many compilations of them sharing the tightest hugs or exchanging the softest forehead kisses, naming them the mythical siblings due to the way they treat each other. Everyone also loves how these two speak either in pout or in giggles, no in between!
Iconic Moment: Nobody thought Yoonmi would be able to make it to Jimin’s fanmeet due to her solo promotions, but, while he was going to take a photo with the attendees, the “staff” who came on stage removed her padded long coat, revealing Yoonmi. ARMY started cheering while Jimin’s jaw dropped, then he rushed up to hug her really tight. “Yah, how long have you been here?” “The past hour? I had this in my schedule, oppa. You didn’t think I would miss your documentary screening, did you?” “You’re really something else, aegi.”
V (Kim Taehyung)

Taehyung and Yoonmi both matured a lot more visible than the other members, so their dynamic shifted a little bit from overly-doting big brother and complying baby sister to a pair of siblings more along a similar wavelength. While they’re still quite playful and he still dotes on her, their age gap isn’t as prominent in their actions. It’s clear that they both see how each other have grown, and it’s something they like to just observe when they’re with each other. They’re proud of each other’s growth, but more proud of how they managed to keep their friendship completely intact despite both of them changing over the years.
Taemi in ARMYs’ eyes: Taehyung and Yoonmi started posting more content together, which everyone enjoyed since they used to keep their off-screen friendship mostly to themselves. Now ARMYs enjoy seeing their posts when they meet up to go to jazz clubs, have coffee, or just do anything together. ARMYs also love seeing how they shifted from over-excitable kids to more mature youths who support and take care of each other.
Iconic Moment: An ARMY saw them in a jazz club together. Allegedly, there were a few cocktails on the table, and the two of them seemed to be exchanging stories the entire time they were there, never once letting there be dead air. Apparently Tae also tried to play the saxophone and let out a really out of tune note, but Yoonmi just cheered him on. The ARMY was able to take a picture with them, saying that they were both happy to see her yet politely asked to not post anything while they were still there. She promised, and the two were said to have continued their night of stories and jazz music.
JUNGKOOK (Jeon Jungkook)
Tumblr media
If anything can describe these two, it’s the phrase ‘ride or die’. Yoonmi and Jungkook would drop everything if the other called them and said they were in need. Almost thirteen years of friendship and growing up alongside each other really molded them into being two peas in a pod, especially since they both hit their twenties. They would see each other every other day and talk to each other at least once a day. Jungkook had gotten less overprotective (especially now that she has a boyfriend), and he has increased his role as the main mythbuster of Yoonmi’s delicate image. Yet, even with all their bickering and squabbling, they remain each other’s support systems and hypemen, connected in a way where they can work with and around each other without even needing to talk. Their friendship is further solidified by their matching tattoos (aside from the group’s matching 7 tatts) which they successfully kept between themselves for over a year. (The only people who saw these right after they got them were Mark and Namjoon. The tannies found out by accident)
Jungmi in ARMYs’ eyes: Ever since Bangtan first debuted, Jungkook and Yoonmi’s friendship has been something so many people, whether ARMY or not, have admired and set as a standard or wish for in their own best friends. ARMYs specifically love how they’re not afraid to roughhouse or bite back at each other but still have each other’s backs no matter what. Also Jungkook biased ARMY all have Yoonmi as a bias wrecker or vice verse because of the amount of content these two have and the amount of time they spend together. Everyone already knows when either of them get married Yoonmi would be Jungkook’s best man or Jungkook would be her Maid of Honor.
Iconic Moment: Jungkook hosted one of his early morning Weverse lives from her kitchen, cooking himself something to eat. At around four AM, the sound of a door opening and closing made him look to the side where he froze and smiled brightly. You hear her go, “Oppa, again? When did you get in my house?” and he just, “Three hours ago. Ramen?” “I’ll just grab some water and go back to sleep. Don’t wake Yoonseol.” And everyone was surprised. It was common knowledge that they went to each other’s apartments often, but they just revealed Jungkook goes to her place just whenever he wants because either he knows the code or has his fingerprint in her lock.
