🀋 𓎆 𓂃𓂃Makes sure you aren't overworking yourself
Boyfriend!Sunoo is the most kind and generous boyfriend when he wants to be. But when it comes to you taking caring of yourself and your mental health he doesn't play around. He doesn't like to see you suffering so he won't hesitate to step in when he notices this sort of thing happening. He won't hestiate to be harsh on you either because you aren't being harsh on yourself and trying to take care of yourself. But just because he is being harsh doesn't mean he doesn't want the best for you because he does.
🀋 𓎆 𓂃Tells you that you're beautiful
Sure there are times where he likes to mock you and poke at you for fun but most of the time it's him telling you how pretty you are. Boyfriend!Sunoo is a simp for you at this point. No matter the time or day he will tell you that you're beautiful. Because that's what you are to him and that's what you should be to everyone else around you. If no one else can see your beauty then they shouldn't be in your life. Because to him you are beautiful without trying and that's something he admires of you.
🀋 𓎆 𓂃Does the things you want to do
Sunoo gives me the vibes of a boyfriend who would willingly participate in anything you want to do. You want to get your nails done he would be right beside you getting his done as well. Heck you guys would even get matching colors if you want to. Facemask and movie night he would gladly join you if it meant you two would be spending some much-needed time together. Overall whatever you do he will be right by your side to gladly participate in it if you want him too.
note! I will not be uploading tomorrow. so here is a post for today!

summary- Sunoo unexpectedly erupts a wave of sensation to someone who can’t handle it
________________________________________________________
Sunoo was the new student that took the whole campus by storm. He was involved with everything school related, wherever people were, you were bound to find Sunoo not far behind.
For you, you had heard about the infamous new student but you didn’t think too much of it. New students always rolled in, so what was different about this one? You should’ve chosen your words carefully, because when you finally caught a glimpse of him, Sunoo already took your life by the wind just by his mere presence.
Kim Sunoo was a wave that you could never sick of, but you knew better to steer clear from him. But you keep finding yourself being drawn to him.
You simply wanted to lose yourself in the sea of Sunoo even when you know your body wouldn’t be able to handle it.
When you arrived at school, you adjusted your mask slightly to make sure it was secured on right so that there were minimal smells.
You didn’t like having to wear the mask but you knew you needed to. Without it, you could lose everything you’ve tried so hard to keep safe.
You were young when you were first diagnosed with a sensitivity condition. At first, it was mild, only soft sniffles here and there and small coughs. But as you grew older, the worse the sensitivity became and before you knew it, you had to wear a mask in order to protect your sense of smell.
You found yourself rather unfortunate having this condition, but you didn’t want it to overrun your life. So you walked onto campus, the bottom half of your face covered with a mask. People greeted you with smiles and you happily waved back towards them, you were making your way through the campus.
But when Sunoo was walking in the opposite direction of you, you felt your mind malfunction as you admired him from afar. He noticed your gaze on him as he gave you a bright smile and wave which you happily reciprocated.
You first met him when he first transferred but you both only said mere greetings to each other before you had to distant yourself from him.
Sunoo was like a meadow of sensations that you could feel yourself get lost in. But you couldn’t handle it, your sense of smell went over the edge and you were stuck in the first aid office trying to bring your sense of smell back.
That’s was the first and possibly the last time you could even get near Sunoo. You were upset as you wanted to me the transfer student but you knew if you wanted to protect yourself, you needed to keep your distance with him.
As you walked away, Sunoo’s curious gaze followed you until you were out of sight. He couldn’t deny that he had always been curious about you, ever since he met you. Sunoo wanted to get to know you more but it seemed like you wanted nothing more to do with but keep a friendly distance.
He respected that only saying mere greetings, but he couldn’t deny the wonder of you that filled his heart. There were times where he could be rather inpatient but whenever it came to you, he never minded having to wait.
Your breathing was heavy, you could feel your mind filling to the brim of Sunoo with how close the two of you were.
It was supposed to be any regular day but here you were trapped in a small room with Sunoo, who you simply couldn’t handle. He apologized endlessly for causing you both to get locked in the room as he didn’t realize the old door locked from the outside.
You tried to brush it off and reassure him you both would be found soon. You tried to keep your distances from Sunoo but the small room didn’t allow it. With every turn you took, Sunoo was there with a bright smile and you could feel your heart pounding out of your chest, and you were fearful he could hear it too.
You adjusted your mask to make sure no smells could override your senses, especially when Sunoo, the person who you’ve tried to steer clear from because you always found yourself drawn to him was not even five feet from you.
“Why do you wear a mask?” The question made you freeze for a moment before turning to face Sunoo, who’s eyes spilled with curiosity
“You don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. I don’t want to make you uncomfortable” His tone was soft when speaking to you and you could feel yourself falling hard, you were happy the mask covered your bright smile
“It’s to protect my sense of smell” Your answer was simple and vague, even though you were intrigued by Sunoo, you were still very wary of telling people
“Why protect it?” You could tell Sunoo became even more curious by your answer, the way he leaned in even closer and you found yourself mesmerized by him
You swallowed the lump in your throat, but it didn’t last long because when you could get a smell of Sunoo, you shoot yourself back away from him.
His smell was filling your body, you could feel him consuming your whole being and you couldn’t handle it. You started sniffling loudly, closing your eyes tightly trying to get rid of the smell that intoxicated you.
Sunoo witnessed with wide eyes, he felt guilty. He saw the way you tried to adjust your mask even tighter but your hands were shaky making it difficult for you.
His hands rose to the side of your face, where the strings of your mask were, his moves were hesitant, he was scared of hurting you just by being so close to you.
You didn’t realize his actions until you could feel his hand hovering the side of your face. You looked to see him and his eyes were practically screaming at you with need and wary.
“Can I help you?” You didn’t even know his tone could become even softer but it did, he didn’t want to make the situation worse than what it already was
Your shaky hands moves from the strings, allowing Sunoo access to help you readjust them. Your eyes never leaving his and his never leaving yours, you softly nodded your head.
When you felt the feather like touches as he adjusted the strings. His gaze focused on adjusting your mask, while you looked at him, you could feel the shiver up your spine.
Sunoo tried to put as much distant as he could but it was inevitable that he would be so close to you. You closed your eyes, trying to ignore his smell that filled your body but you could feel your body become weak to it.
Your heart thumping harshly against your chest, his touch was soft afraid if he put a little more pressure you would crumble before him, and he didn’t want to lose you.
“Is that good?” You opened your eyes and we were mere inches away from Sunoo, you swore you heard the thumping of your heart
“Yeah” You doubt Sunoo heard your answer but his smile said other wise
“Thank you for helping me” Sunoo shook his head, dismissing your gratitude as he brightly smiled saying a small ‘of course’
“I wear the mask to protect my sense of smell because I have a sensitivity condition, meaning most smells can cause irritation to my body”
“So the mask helps me from smelling as little as possible, but it’s recommended for me to slowly expose myself to light smells to see if it could help” You explained and Sunoo listend to every word, he wanted to understand you
When he gave you a warm smile, that was when you knew that you were in trouble from this point on in your life. His smile was the sense of sensations that your body craved but could never have, or so you thought.
To Sunoo, the events in the small room were the turning point of yours and his “friendship”. He started to see you more often and instead of the mere greetings, he would ask if he could accompany you no matter how far the walk is.
You thought it was strange at first but decided to not dwell on it. You and him continued to keep your respective distance to not have your sensitivity affect you so much.
But it seemed that no matter how much effort you put in, Sunoo continued to affect your sense of smell in a way you never thought was possible. He didn’t realize the affect he had on you, but you were finding yourself in a spiral.
Today wasn’t any different than the other days. Sunoo was walking you home even though his place is on the other side of the area. No matter how much banter and arguing the two of you had, Sunoo always managed to win every single one of them.
As you were reaching your place, Sunoo slowed down his pace. When you realized he wasn’t walking along side you, you turned around to see him nervous which was something you weren’t use to.
“I have a proposal” You tilted your head in curiosity
“Let me help you. You told me that it’s recommended that you’re introduced to light smells in order to help, I want to be the one that helps you”
“There’s many lovely smells that make you swirl and I want you to be able to experience them without a problem” Sunoo was determined to help you and you felt yourself falling harder, the look in his eyes told you that he wanted, he needed to help you but why? You don’t know
“Will you please let me help you?”
Sunoo’s plead to help you almost seemed like a dream, something your mind had created in order to mess with you. But when you spot a happy Sunoo knocking on your front door, with a basket with what you assumed to be different fragrances. You realize he wasn’t lying in the slightest, he really was going to help you.
He sat in front of you in your living room, the table filled with all kinds of different fragrances. You overwhelmed eyes looked over all of them, you could feel the nervousness settle into your heart.
You wondered if you’d be able to handle all of these smells. Yet, you were knocked out of your daze when you felt a soft hand grab onto your fidgeting ones. You turned to see Sunoo next to you, with the same bright smile that brings warmth into your heart.
His faint smell makes your head dizzy, wanting to rip your mask off but you knew better than to jeopardize your sense.
“We’ll start off with the ones that don’t have any smells at all, just to get you use to smelling things” Sunoo explained as he grabbed two of the fragrances from the pile, you were going to be in for a long day
Many hours passed by and you were surprisingly going strong, you were only exhausted having to smell so many different fragrances but neither of them had affected your sense badly.
You were on the last one, it’s what is to be the strongest out of this bunch but still has the faint smell. When you took a whiff of it, you were greeted with the smell of flowers, you felt as if you were in the meadow with Sunoo.
It brought you comfort and you could feel yourself leaning into the smell. This has to have been your favorite smell out of the all the ones you’ve smelled today.
When he pulled the vial away from you, you caught a whiff of Sunoo’s smell and there it was. The same flare of desire creeping into you, you began to sniffle loudly and even letting out dry coughs.
Sunoo’s eyes widen when he heard you and immediately grabbed your mask that you seemed to have forgotten within time. He helped place it back onto your face but you were still coughing.
Sunoo was sending waves of sensations throughout your body, craving to be surrounded in the smell of Sunoo, no longer caring about the consequences that could come with it.
You could feel yourself getting drowsy. Your head was falling until it met Sunoo’s shoulder who tensed but relaxed a second later.
Your mind was clouded, not being able to think properly. Your body was being overrun by Sunoo and you were allowing it without any complaints.
He didn’t say anything, he simply allowed you to rest your head on him. You closed your eyes for a moment but what shocked you was when you unconsciously began to remove your own mask, Sunoo was quick to grab onto your wrist when he realized.
But it didn’t stop you from fully removing it. You practically ripped off your mask and that’s when all sorts of smells filled your mind, you felt even more dizzy. Your head reeled with so many thoughts but what became your main focus was Sunoo.
The smell that was always overwhelming soon faded into a comfort that you never had before. Something seemed to have clicked into your mind and before you knew it, Sunoo felt like a bubble of home.
You could feel yourself losing yourself in the bubble but you didn’t mind. You seemed to have lost all other senses than your smell.
Sunoo on the other hand felt like his heart was going to pound of his chest at any moment. He wanted to check up on you but for the first time he saw you at ease, your eyes closed as your head rested on him.
Why would he ever want to leave this moment? He wouldn’t and he wasn’t going to risk having it slip through his fingers.
He simply stayed there and let you drift off in his arms, he smiled at you. You looked pleased, happy, satisfied and his heart swooned at the scene. He knew what the swooning meant, he didn’t realize he had fallen for you
After the session, whenever you and Sunoo were together, you always took off your mask. You wanted to get used to different smells, you hated having to worry about your sense of smell.
You wanted to be able to experience life to the fullest.
So whenever you did this, Sunoo was worried about you, he wasn’t one to imitate physical touch with anyone but whenever he was with you that changed. He would hold your hand whenever you took off your mask to catch you just in case anything happened.
So everytime you both were together, the first thing he would do would be to grab your hand into his and then greet you. He doesn’t think he could ever get used to feel of your hands in his.
There were times some smells were bothersome to you but the squeeze of his hand, and the sweet smile he would give you. You stayed where you were, by Sunoo’s comforting side.
Today wasn’t any different, you were walking under the stars and moonlight. The two of you had spent the whole day together, yet neither of you wanted to let go of the day just yet.
Sunoo’s hand held yours as he was walking you home. Your mask was long forgotten as your sense of smell was slightly better that day. You were laughing at something Sunoo had said, completely oblivious to the gaze he had on you.
He was smiling adoringly at you, the stars reflected in his eyes. When you stopped laughing, you turned to him only to find him smiling and looking at you.
You coughed slightly and looked away as you tried to walk away but was softly pulled back by Sunoo. When you faced him, you felt your heart pounding against your chest. You could feel the shivers running up your spine as he didn’t say anything only looking at you.
“What happened Sunoo?”
“I want to admire you a little longer”
His words struck you like an arrow, you couldn’t say anything and stared at him with wide eyes
He realized your shocked expression and chuckled, his smile sending your heart into a frenzy. You could feel his thumb rubbing against the back of your hand.
“Thank you for allowing me to help you”
“I feel accomplished to know that I helped you, even though it’s small steps, to me they’re the biggest milestone”
You could feel the corner of your lips rising, with the smile plastering on your face. You didn’t want to let go of this moment, it seemed almost too perfect.
“To me, meeting you was my milestone” Now it was Sunoo’s turn to be shocked at your words, he nervously gulped feeling his heart thumping in his chest
“Sunoo, you showed a new side to my life that I never thought I would ever be able to experience. I feel beyond happy to know it was you who helped me”
You had to say everything now, if you didn’t, you would never forgive yourself.
“I fell for you Sunoo”
“I don’t know when I did, but I know when I first saw you I found myself in a daze of you that I couldn’t get out of”
“When we got stuck in the room, that’s when I knew I was in danger because of you. I knew my infatuation would only seize to grow from there on until I fell for you”
“So I started to accept my faith of falling for you so when I did, I wouldn’t shocked or surprised. I was happy to know that it was you that I fell for” You had a bright smile on your face as you said your confession until you were brought into a tight hug by Sunoo
Sunoo held you tight, afraid that he was going to lose you if he let go. He had the brightest smile on his face and you could feel it radiating off of him. He sent a wave of sensation throughout your body but this time it wasn’t unbearable.
You found yourself used to Sunoo and you smiled to yourself. It was what you always wanted.
“You don’t know how happy you just made me. I fell for you too, I knew the moment we met, I was bound to spend all of my time with you”
“I love you too”
Those four words whispered into your ear made the nervousness fade away into a bubble of love, when he pulled away from the hug, his smile never left his face
You placed a soft peck against his cheek before letting go out your intertwined hands and happily walking away from him. Sunoo was stunned, his mind trying to process what had just happened.
So when he was out of the daze you put on him, he was quick to go after you. You were happily laughing when he caught up to you, his hand quick to wrap around yours.
He pulled you back into his arms and this time was the one to place a soft kiss on your cheek. You giggled as he chuckled as well, the moonlight shinned above you both as you looked at each other.
The smile soon faded as you both found yourselves leaving in. Sunoo held your free hand into his free hand, and when your lips met with each other, fireworks went off.
The smell of Sunoo no longer overran your mind but rather settled into your heart as a sign of comfort that only he brought you.
The kiss was a soft, the way your lips felt against each other made it seem like that they were made for each other.
When you pulled away from each other, Sunoo let go out of your two hands in order to pull you into a soft hug.
“Are you okay? It wasn’t too much right?” His question softened your heart more and you shook your head
“It was just right”
You never expected being able to be with someone without your mask. But Sunoo changed your life, he was the wave of emotions and sensations that you need in your life to flip it upside down.
Sunoo didn’t know you would have such a big part in his life, yet here you were taking over it but he didn’t mind. If it came to you, he wouldn’t mind anything as long as he had you.
“Thank you for being my sensation”

Tumblr media
You weren't anything more than a teen going to and from high school every day for the past 11 going on 12 years of your life. Why would you change anything about the way you've been living just because someone told you to? Especially not in your very last year of high school. Plus what exactly did you need to change? Your life was perfect. If that's what you want to tell yourself.
Pulling up to the school you couldn't help but groan laying your head on the steering wheel. You just had to wake up this morning? Didn't you?! You wanted to bang your head against the steering wheel and knock yourself unconscious just so you wouldn’t have to enter this building. Minutes had gone by but not enough minutes to go by that you hoped school was already over. It would be hours until then. Casting your eyes down on the phone in your lap, you sighed deeply, at the amount of missed calls and text messages you had received.
Among them, you noticed a series of notifications from your grandparents and a few from him. Tossing the phone in the passenger seat, you let out a frustrated sigh and tried to gather your thoughts. Getting startled by a knock on your window you bumped your head on the steering wheel, causing a sharp pain to shoot through your skull. Rubbing your forehead, you glanced out the window to find him, Seon Woo, or as you liked to call him Sunoo, peering in with a concerned expression.
Sunoo's concern only added to your frustration. You rolled down the window, trying your best to hide your annoyance. "Hey," you said, trying to sound casual despite the throbbing pain in your head. "Why aren't you in school?"
Sunoo's worried expression softened a bit as he looked at you. "Are you okay? You didn't respond to any of my calls or texts. I was starting to get worried about you."
You glanced away, trying to avoid Sunoo's gaze. "I'm fine. Just a bit sleepy that's all.” You spoke plucking your backpack from the backseat. Sunoo couldn't help but narrow his eyes at you. As he was about to open his mouth to say something he and you turned your attention to his name getting called from the steps of the school. The cheerleading squad of course. You couldn't help but roll your eyes. Sunoo turned back to you capturing a glimpse of the expression on your face.
Turning to still see him leaning against your car, you sighed. “Why aren't you joining them? Shouldn't you be with your cheerleading squad?" you asked, trying to change the subject and steer the conversation away from yourself. Sunoo could only shrug taking a step back as you finally exited the car. "I was waiting for you," he replied simply, lacing his hand with yours. Trying not to seem too giddy about the situation you let your curls fall gently over your shoulder, trying to hide the small smile that tugged at the corners of your lips. "Well, no need to wait anymore. Let's go then," you said, giving Sunoo's hand a reassuring squeeze.
As you both walked towards the school entrance, Sunoo couldn't help but keep glancing at you with concern in his eyes. "Are you sure you're okay? You seem a bit off today," he said, nudging you playfully.
You didn't want to burden Sunoo with your feelings, especially when he seemed so happy to see you. "Yeah, I'm just a little tired. Didn't get enough sleep last night, that's all," you replied, trying to sound as nonchalant as possible.
He seemed to accept your explanation for now, but you could tell that he wasn't entirely convinced. Sunoo had always been attentive to your emotions, and it was both comforting and annoying at times. You appreciated his concern, but right now, you didn't want to delve into the complexities of your mind.
As you entered the school building, you were greeted by familiar faces and the usual high school chatter. Some students waved at Sunoo, and you saw a few envious glances directed your way, which you tried to ignore. Your relationship with Sunoo had been a topic of gossip for a while now, and while it didn't bother you too much, it did add an extra layer of pressure to your life. You two came to a stop in front of your locker, and you began to mechanically dial the combination to open it. Sunoo leaned against the lockers beside yours, still looking at you with a mix of concern and curiosity.
However, once again he was called yet again by his cheer squad, who was getting ready to head to a morning meeting with their coach. Sunoo sighed and looked back at you apologetically. "Sorry, I have to go," he said, giving your hand a squeeze and placing a small kiss against your lips.
As Sunoo pulled away, you couldn't help but feel a pang of longing. You wished he could stay with you a little longer, but you understood his responsibilities as a member of the cheer squad. With a smile, you nodded understandingly.
"It's alright, Sunoo. Go ahead, I'll see you later," you said, trying to sound as supportive as possible. You watched as he hurried off to join his squad, blending in seamlessly with the energetic group of cheerleaders.
Turning your attention back to your locker, you opened it and began gathering the necessary books and supplies for your first class. As you did, your mind drifted back to the missed calls and text messages you had received earlier. You decided to check your phone once again, hoping to address them before the day got too busy.
Unlocking your phone, you scrolled through the notifications. The messages from your grandparents caught your attention, reminding you of the family dinner they had planned for the weekend. Something that had bugged you since they had told you last weekend. It meant that you would be seeing your parents at the dinner, and the thought made your stomach churn. Your relationship with your parents had been strained for years, and you had been trying to keep your distance from them as much as possible. The idea of being in their presence, pretending everything was fine, felt like a heavy weight on your shoulders.
You sighed and set your phone aside, deciding to deal with the messages later. Right now, you needed to focus on getting through the school day. As you closed your locker, you took a deep breath and tried to push the negative thoughts aside.
Walking to your first class, you couldn't help but feel a sense of isolation. The hallways were filled with the usual hustle and bustle, but you felt disconnected from it all. The smiling faces and cheerful conversations seemed distant, as if you were observing them from a different world.
Taking your seat in the classroom, you tried to concentrate on the lesson, but your mind kept wandering. You felt a restlessness within you, a yearning for something more. The thought of following the same routine, day after day, felt suffocating.
You glanced at the clock, realizing that the school day was just beginning. Hours stretched ahead of you, filled with classes, assignments, and social interactions that you weren't particularly eager to engage in. The feeling of dread settled in your chest, and you wished for an escape.
As the day progressed, you found yourself going through the motions. Participating in class discussions, exchanging small talk with classmates, and trying to maintain a façade of normalcy. But deep down, you knew something needed to change. The monotony of your life was becoming unbearable.
During lunch break, you decided to find a quiet spot outside to clear your head. You walked outside the school building, feeling the warm sunlight on your skin. The familiar courtyard provided a momentary respite from the bustling hallways. Finding a secluded bench under a tree, you sat down and let out a long sigh, allowing the weight of your emotions to settle.
You reached into your backpack and pulled out your phone, deciding to address the missed calls and messages that had been piling up. Opening your grandparents' text message, you read their reminder about the family dinner. They seemed excited about the gathering, but the thought of seeing your parents made your stomach churn once again. The strained relationship and unresolved issues between you and your parents had taken a toll on your well-being.
You knew that avoiding them indefinitely wasn't a sustainable solution, but the idea of confronting them and pretending everything was fine felt like an impossible task. As you pondered your next move, a new message notification caught your attention. It was from Sunoo.
Curiosity piqued, you opened the message. Sunoo had sent a simple text asking if you were free to meet after school. With the faintest smile on your lips, you quickly typed a reply, agreeing to meet him. The thought of spending time with him brought a glimmer of excitement to an otherwise dull day. Maybe a bit too much excitement as you caught yourself smiling. Shaking your head you buried your face into your hands as you waited for his response. Within moments, your phone buzzed with another message from Sunoo.
"Great! My house?" his message read, accompanied by a smiley face emoji. "Sure, your house sounds perfect," you replied, feeling a sense of anticipation building up inside you. Spending time with Sunoo always managed to lift your spirits, and today, you needed that more than ever.
The school day dragged on, but knowing that you had plans with Sunoo after school helped you push through. As the final bell rang, signaling the end of the day, you gathered your belongings and made your way to the school entrance. Not many cars were left in the parking lot besides yours and a few others which meant Sunoo had already headed home.
As you walked towards your car, thoughts raced through your mind. The events of the day, the reminder of the family dinner, and the desire for change all swirled together, creating a mixture of emotions. As you unlocked your car and got inside, you took a moment to collect yourself.
As you started the engine and pulled out of the parking lot, you couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. The school day was behind you, and now you could focus on spending time with Sunoo. The drive to his house was relatively short, and as you approached his neighborhood, a familiar sense of comfort washed over you.
Arriving at Sunoo's house, you parked your car and took a moment to compose yourself. You wanted to be present, to enjoy the time you would spend together. Taking a deep breath, you stepped out of the car and walked up to Sunoo's front door.
Sunoo greeted you with a warm smile, his eyes filled with genuine happiness at seeing you. You couldn't help but feel a surge of affection for him. He opened the door wider, inviting you inside. As you entered his house, a sense of familiarity washed over you. Sunoo's home was always a place of comfort and acceptance, a sanctuary from the outside world.
Sunoo led you to his room, a cozy space filled with memories of your time together. Posters of your favorite bands adorned the walls, and a soft glow from fairy lights added a touch of magic to the atmosphere. You laid on his bed, side by side as quietness filled the room. The silence between you and Sunoo was comfortable, allowing you both to simply enjoy each other's presence.
After a while, Sunoo turned to you, his eyes filled with curiosity. "Is everything alright? You seemed a bit distant today," he said softly, reaching out to gently brush a curl of hair away from your face. You sighed turning to face him. “I love you, you do know that, right?”
Sunoo's expression softened, and he nodded, his thumb gently caressing your cheek. "Of course, I know that," he replied, his voice filled with warmth. "And I love you too, more than words can express."
A small smile tugged at the corners of your lips as you leaned into his touch, appreciating the comfort and reassurance he provided. "I'm glad," you whispered, your voice barely audible. "Today was just... overwhelming. Remember when I told you about that dinner my grandparents were throwing?"
Sunoo's eyes filled with understanding, as he nodded pulling you closer, wrapping his arms around you in a comforting embrace. As you snuggled closer to Sunoo, finding solace in his arms, you continued sharing your thoughts and concerns. "I'm dreading seeing my parents at the dinner. Our relationship has been strained for so long, and I've been trying to keep my distance.
But avoiding them indefinitely isn't a solution either but all they seem to want is to change me.” You paused taking a deep breath, you continued, your voice tinged with frustration. "They don't understand that I'm happy with the way I am. They keep pressuring me to conform to their expectations, to fit into this mold they have for me. But I don't want to change who I am just to please them."
Sunoo listened attentively, his hold on you remaining firm and yet soothing. He understood the struggles you faced with your parents and the weight it carried in your life. "I know it's tough," he said softly. "But remember, you don't owe anyone an explanation for who you are. You're perfect just the way you are, and your happiness should always come first." Hearing his words made you smile. Sitting up you sighed. “I hate that you know me so well.”
Sunoo chuckled, his eyes sparkling with affection. "I can't help it. I've spent so much time with you, and I pay attention to the little things. Your happiness is important to me, and I want to be there for you."
You leaned forward, placing a gentle kiss on Sunoo's lips. Deepening the kiss, you lost yourself in his warmth and comfort, basking in the sensation of his soft lips against yours. As you pulled away, Sunoo was left breathless. A blush spread across his cheeks as he gazed at you. "How do you do this to me?"
A smirk tugged at the corners of your lips as you laid back down beside him. "It's your fault, really," you replied, a playful tone in your voice. "You're just too cute."
You couldn't help but enjoy the way Sunoo's cheeks grew rosier, a mixture of embarrassment and adoration in his eyes as he looked at you. His hands found their way to your waist, as if he couldn't help himself from touching you. You took a moment to admire the sight before you, your heart fluttering in your chest.
"You really are amazing, you know?" you whispered, your gaze fixed on his face. Sunoo seemed confused by your comment, but you could tell he was trying to keep his composure. "Am I?" he asked, his eyes filled with hope and wonder.
You couldn't help but chuckle as you leaned in to kiss him again. As you pressed your lips to his, he reached up, his fingers playing with the end of your curls. He wrapped his arms around you, pulling you close to his body, allowing you to feel his warmth. Your bodies were so close that you could feel his heartbeat, quick and fluttery.
You broke away from the kiss, meeting Sunoo's gaze. He was breathless and red faced, his chest rising and falling as he tried to regain his composure. A content sigh left his lips as you leaned in, pressing your forehead to his.
"I love you," you whispered softly, a tender smile on your face. You felt Sunoo's arms tighten around you, holding you close.
"I love you too," he replied, his voice barely audible.
As you lay there in Sunoo's embrace, you felt a sense of warmth spreading through your body. The tension you had been carrying all day melted away as you let out another content sigh. The evening passed quickly, the time slipping away from you two as you lay tangled in each other's arms.
As the evening grew darker, your phone buzzed with a new message notification. You glanced at your phone and sighed, realizing that it was getting late. You had to return to your home soon, but the idea of leaving Sunoo's house and leaving him was daunting.
You looked up at Sunoo, his face soft and peaceful. You wanted to stay in his arms forever. You didn't want to leave this bubble you had created together. As you reached up to run your fingers through his hair, Sunoo's eyes opened slowly. You froze, suddenly feeling awkward at waking him up from his nap.
Sunoo blinked his eyes open, a sleepy smile spreading across his face as he looked at you. "Hey," he said, his voice still filled with the remnants of sleep. "Did I doze off?"
You chuckled softly, your fingers still entangled in his hair. "Just a little nap," you replied, your voice filled with warmth. "But I think it's time for me to head home."
Sunoo's smile faded slightly, replaced by a look of longing. "I wish you could stay longer," he said, his voice tinged with disappointment. "I hate saying goodbye to you."
You leaned in, pressing a gentle kiss against his lips. "I hate it too," you whispered, your voice filled with sincerity. "But we'll see each other soon, I promise."
Sunoo nodded, a glimmer of hope returning to his eyes. "Okay," he said, his voice soft. "I'll hold you to that promise."
You both reluctantly untangled yourselves from each other, sitting up on the bed. As you gathered your belongings, you couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. Leaving Sunoo's house meant returning to the reality of your life, with all its challenges and uncertainties. But knowing that you had someone like Sunoo by your side gave you the strength to face whatever came your way.
Sunoo walked you to the front door, his hand intertwined with yours. "Take care, okay?" he said, his voice filled with genuine concern. You smiled and nodded, squeezing his hand tightly. "I will, I promise."
With one last lingering look, you stepped out of Sunoo's house, feeling a pang of sadness in your chest. The night air felt cool against your skin as you made your way back to your car. As you drove home, your mind was filled with thoughts of Sunoo and the comfort he brought to your life.
Arriving at your house, you took a deep breath and prepared yourself for what awaited you. You knew that your grandparents were probably worried about you since you hadn’t exactly told them where you were or the fact that you were with Sunoo for the past few hours.
As you entered your home, you were greeted by your grandparents, their faces filled with ease upon you finally making it home. “Sorry, I lost track of time," you said, offering them a sheepish smile. "I was with Sunoo."
Your grandparents exchanged a knowing glance, and your grandmother spoke up, her voice filled with warmth. "It's alright, dear. We're just glad you're safe. We were getting a bit worried." Hugging you tightly, your grandmother continued, "Your parents called earlier, and we let them know you'd be joining us for the family dinner tomorrow."
Your heart sank at the mention of your parents. The dinner loomed over you like a dark cloud, threatening to ruin the peace you had found with Sunoo. You forced a smile and nodded, not wanting to burden your grandparents with your inner turmoil.
"I'll be there," you replied, your voice filled with a determination you didn't feel. "I'll try my best to make it a pleasant evening."
Your grandparents exchanged another glance, their concern evident in their eyes. Your grandfather spoke up, his voice gentle but firm. "Sweetheart you know you don't have to attend the dinner if you're not comfortable.” Nodding your head, you smiled at your grandparents. “I know but I feel like I should. I’ll be there tomorrow, I promise.” You spoke, clasping their hands tightly before excusing yourself to bed.
The next day arrived, and as the evening approached, you found yourself sitting in your grandparent’s garden. Your eyes closed, hands clasped, letting the wind blow through your curls. Hearing the faint sound of cars pulling up in front of the house, you knew that the dreaded family dinner was about to begin. You took a deep breath, trying to steady your nerves and prepare yourself for what lay ahead.
As you entered the house, the familiar smells of home greeted you. The sounds of laughter and conversation drifted from the dining room, where your grandparents and parents were already gathered. Your heart raced as you made your way towards them, trying to maintain a composed demeanor.
As you took your seat at the table, you couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. Your parents were polite, exchanging pleasantries and engaging in small talk, but the tension between you was palpable. You focused on your plate, picking at your food, not wanting to engage in any unnecessary conversation.
Throughout the dinner, you caught glimpses of Sunoo's encouraging smile in your mind. It gave you strength, a reminder that you weren't alone in this. You knew that no matter how difficult things got, you had someone who loved and supported you unconditionally.
As the evening wore on, you found yourself engaged in conversations with your grandparents, grateful for their presence and the sense of stability they brought to your life. They seemed genuinely interested in your well-being, asking about your hobbies, your plans for the future, and your dreams.
In those moments, you allowed yourself to forget the strained relationship with your parents and the pressures they had placed upon you. As the evening progressed, you realized that the family dinner wasn't as unbearable as you had anticipated. The atmosphere had softened, and even though the underlying tension remained, you managed to find moments of genuine connection with your grandparents.
Your parents seemed to be making an effort as well, trying to bridge the gap that had grown between you over the years. They asked about your life, your interests, and even though it felt forced at times, you appreciated the effort they were making.
During a lull in the conversation, your grandmother turned to you with a warm smile. "You know, dear, your parents love you. They may not always show it in the right way, but they do care about you."
Your heart ached at her words, the weight of years of misunderstanding and hurt settling in. "I know, Grandma," you replied softly. "I just wish they understood me better, accepted me for who I am."
Your grandmother reached across the table, gently squeezing your hand. "Sometimes it takes time for people to change, to grow. Perhaps with patience and understanding, you can find a way to bridge that gap."
Her words resonated with you, reminding you that change and growth were not limited to yourself but also extended to those around you. It wasn't an easy path, but it was worth considering.
As the dinner drew to a close, you felt a mix of emotions. Relief washed over you that the evening had gone better than expected, but you also felt a sense of exhaustion. The emotional weight of the night had taken its toll. Looking towards your grandma she smiled at you, “Go ahead and go.”
With a grateful smile, you excused yourself from the table, thanking your grandparents for the dinner and their support. As you made your way toward the front door, you took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of relief and weariness as you grabbed your keys.
As you stepped outside, the cool evening air provided a momentary respite. You glanced up at the darkening sky, the stars beginning to twinkle overhead. It was a reminder that there was a vast world beyond the confines of your family dinner, a world filled with possibilities and choices.
You walked towards your car, the familiar routine grounding you. Unlocking the door and sliding into the driver's seat, you took a moment to collect your thoughts. The evening had been a mix of emotions, and you needed time to process it all.
As you started the engine and began the drive to the school. So part of you hoped you would still be able to see Sunoo perform halftime for the football game. Something you had promised him months ago but never really got a chance to do it.
You drove to the school, the streets now quiet and the familiar sights passing by in a blur. The events of the family dinner still weighed heavily on your mind, but you knew that spending time with Sunoo would help ease your thoughts and emotions.
Arriving at the school, you parked your car and made your way towards the football field. The crowd was already buzzing with excitement, and the sound of cheering and laughter filled the air. You spotted Sunoo on the field, clad in his cheerleading uniform, leading the squad through their halftime routine.
As you approached the stands, Sunoo caught sight of you and flashed a bright smile. His eyes sparkled with delight, and the sight of him brought a warmth to your heart. He waved at you, and you waved back, feeling a sense of joy wash over you.
Finding a seat in the stands, you settled in to watch the performance. Sunoo's energy was contagious, and you couldn't help but feel a surge of pride as you watched him dance and cheer with such enthusiasm. His talent and passion were evident in every move, and it was clear that he loved what he was doing.
As the performance came to an end, the crowd erupted in applause, and you joined in, clapping enthusiastically. Sunoo made his way to the edge of the field, where you were seated. He was slightly out of breath but had the biggest grin on his face.
"Did you see that?" he exclaimed, still full of adrenaline from the performance. "It was amazing!"
"You were incredible!" you replied, your own smile matching his enthusiasm. "I'm so proud of you, Sunoo."
He leaned in, pressing a quick kiss against your cheek. "Thanks for coming to watch me," he said, his voice filled with genuine appreciation.
"Of course, I wouldn't miss it for the world," you replied, feeling a sense of contentment settling in as you gazed at him. Being with Sunoo had a way of lifting your spirits, making you forget about the challenges you were facing. His presence was like a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
As the football game continued, you and Sunoo enjoyed each other's company, cheering on the team and reveling in the excitement of the event. The tension from the family dinner slowly faded into the background as you immersed yourself in the moment.
After the game ended, you and Sunoo decided to take a walk around the school grounds, finding a quiet spot to sit and talk. The night sky was clear, and the stars shone brightly above you. It was a serene moment, and you felt a sense of peace settling in.
Sunoo wrapped his arm around your shoulder, pulling you close. "I hope today wasn't too overwhelming for you," he said softly, his concern evident in his voice.
You leaned into his embrace, feeling comforted by his presence. "It was tough, but being with you helped me get through it," you replied honestly. "You always know how to make me feel better."
He smiled, his eyes locked with yours. "I'll always be here for you," he said, his voice filled with earnestness. "Through the good times and the challenging ones."
"I know," you replied, feeling a swell of admiration for him. "And I'm so grateful for that, Sunoo. You mean the world to me."
He leaned in, pressing his lips to yours in a gentle kiss. As you kissed him, a feeling of comfort washed over you. In his embrace, you felt like you could conquer anything that life threw your way. Especially when you had your cheerleader by your side.
