Star Trek: Voyager
That's five series cast pieces down! Some of the more challenging characters to capture were in this one. B'Elanna and, believe it or not, Seven Of Nine were the most difficult.

My brain can't comprehend a romantic Seven / Chakotay so the way it fixes it is after a few dates and kisses Chakotay figures out Seven heart isn't in it. They talk. Come to the conclusion that Seven has preference for women isn't sure what she is yet. But isn't ready to come out.
They Platonically date instead because both are lonely. It isn't romantic or sexual but fun. Eventually, they get married. After all why not? A marriage between friends to help fight off being lonely, built on trust and non romantic love is just as worthy as one with romantic love.
The rest of the crew doesn't know Seven sexuality. Not even Janeway. So as far as they concerned their marriage is a romantic one. It isn't. But they are happy. Then Seven dies.
And Chakotay is angry.
Angry that more of Seven life was spent as Drone than an individual. Mad that she was often isolated on Voyager and never comfortable enough to reveal her truly sexuality.
A rage that can't be tamed. Everyone tries to help him from Tuvok to Janeway but no one can get through to him.
He has lost his best friend. In that grief he does a terrible thing. Chakotay draws the Borg to that planet. That species. A new species to add to the collective.
And they do. The Borg assimilate them in days.
Chakotay is left with guilt and rage. It destroys. He helps get Voyager home. Because he promised. But once back he dies. No one can find a medical condition or reason why. It's like his heart just stopped.

So, I watched Omega again and then noticed this:
Harry was Six of Ten and then Seven demoted Harry to Two of Ten. It seems like for the Borg or how Seven at least interprets it.
But also, in her Unimatrix this means she's actually the higher rank?
This just confused me more. There's no hierarchy but there is someone coordinating for the Borg collective?
I do like having the Borg Queen but I am confused.

I feel like watching voyager (I believe I'm on late season 3 at the moment) is a bit like russian roulette. Let me explain, I think some episodes are awesome. We have the Borg appearing! Tuvok and Neelix having that relationship crisis (well, what do you want me to call it????), and the doctor going a little bit insane - I love seeing stable-ish characters lose their sanity just a little! So in short, some of the episodes I've watched recently are amazing.
But then there's some.... others. Look, I get it's a brilliant idea - "oh, looks like harry kim's not a human! He knows some really specific stuff!" - but the execution of that idea, with a planet whose female population seemed to have been snatched from Risa, just.... Stuff that makes me feel like I'm in year 9 media studies class learning about what the male gaze is and seeing a textbook definition of it. I feel like the "harry isn't human" plotline could have been so much more interesting and well developed, but it just became uncomfy to watch.
Harry was definitely one of the episode's redeeming qualities, I love him and his little rolling around the place. Also he's very clever!! And Tom is amazing too, harry and tom definitely compliment eachother :)
In summary I watched 3 × 19 "Rise" and 3 × 20 "Favourite Son" and wanted to share my thoughts :)
