I am so rusty at writing that I hesitate to ever talk about writing things, because I almost never finish them, and even if I did, I'm not sure I would share anything publicly right now lol sob, but I'd still like to try to write something for the KPTS Prompt Fest. So I wish to once again use polls to make my decisions for me! (Thank u all for ur help in the tv poll btw; having a great time w/ Theory of Love & Little Women!)
Tl;dr: Help break me out of my decision paralysis and choose one thing for me to focus on writing! (Detailed prompts after the poll)

1. Vegas/Porsche arranged marriage:
Bonus points for Vegas resenting Porsche for being the son his father has always wanted (or in the version where Gun's already dead, for stealing his birthright), and plotting little schemes before their marriage to ruin him and the like, and Porsche disarming him the more they get to know each other. Extra bonus points if Vegas betrays him anyway, just like in canon, but the fondness is still real (for both of them), and makes it hurt more on both sides.
2. Vegas wakes up main family heir: Vegas goes to sleep wishing, not for the first time, that he'd been born to the main family. He wakes up in an alternate universe where his grandfather made Gun the main family heir, not Korn. Gun is not a better father in this timeline.
3. Vegaskinn arranged marriage: Korn strong arms the minor family into a marriage agreement to, he claims, ease the tensions between them, but actually because he would like to collect Vegas and Macau under his roof, like chess pieces or pokemon.
It would be fun if this were set after Vegas's big betrayal, as his punishment, instead of being blacklisted and going to the safehouse, but it can also be something AU/pre-canon.
The hilarious idea popped into my head of Korn having already arranged Tankhun/Porsche and Kim/Chay marriages long before he decided Kinn/blood-related nephew should happen. Alternatively, maybe Kim/Chay and Kinn/Porsche as preexisting relationships make Korn confident in his hold on the Kittisawats, and he assumes Kinn/Vegas will be a loveless Emperor/Empress marriage up against Porsche as Kinn's most beloved noble consort.
4. Porsche and Big bodyswap: Cue Big experiencing the exquisite pain of Kinn looking at him with adoration and want, but it's not actually HIM he's looking at, and fighting himself on what to do when Kinn wants to touch him. Cue Porsche having to get along with Ken and pretend he loves doing nothing but shittalking himself all day. Cue Porsche picking up on the fact that Chan is completely gone for him (for Big) after years of Big missing all the signals? Comedy, angst, any ships you want!
5. Tankhun and Kim start hearing each other's thoughts, and can't turn it off. It's actually worse when they're not in the same physical vicinity, they start hearing more of what the other is thinking and worse, so they have to start spending a lot of time together to keep the thoughts calmer and less invasive. This means Kim joining Khun for horror movie night, and yes, he does have to dress up, and Khun joining Kim…on tour? Can he do it? And what do they learn about each other when they are physically separated? What lurks in the deeps of their psychologies?

6. Vegaspete, puppyplay. Vegas makes Pete wear puppy ears and a puppy tail butt plug and bark. Totally up to you if it's noncon at the safehouse or consensual after that.
7. Vegas sex pollens Kinn:
Kinn is at a very important professional function surrounded by very important professional contacts when Vegas, who is also at said function, slips a drug with aphrodisiac properties into his food/drink/expensive cologne/whatever. Kinn valiantly tries to maintain his self-control, but he's only human, and before the end of the night someone — or even a team of someones — ends up having to somehow fuck Kinn until he cries while not giving any rival crime families any inkling.
(@vegaseatsass note: I would 100% write this as Vegas planning to leave Kinn alone to deal with his situation, hoping he will fail but counting on Kinn superhumanly outlasting the drug, and then getting possessive about it and rushing in to take control the second it looks like Kinn's going to capitulate to unworthy outsiders. Apologies in advance to the anon that I am a Vegaskinn sicko and not a Kinn whump sicko; I hope they get this filled by a gangbang connoisseur!)
8. Vegaspete handcuffed together: Vegas and Pete are kidnapped at the auction. They wake up naked and handcuffed together. Vegas makes the most of it.

👀 Do you have any WIPs that you would never let see the light of day? If yes, what are they about?
Soooooo. I there's only one fic that I've actually written up that won't ever see the light of day and that's the 4k or so of the initial ideas and concepts for the KimBig - Kim ended up coming across as more distrustful of Big than he is (because it's Big POV we dont get to see inside his head), and it ended up coming across as a little too "Vegas". While he's rude to Big in canon he isnt actually hugely distrustful; he's banking on Big serving Kinn over Korn to get information on Porsche and the potential mole(s).
I love the energy but it felt very 2-dimensional and I couldn't wrangle the context it to make it work. Plus I absolutely love the emotional vulnerability I've created in the KimBig 2.0 from Kim's perspective - it feels a lot more realistic. I realised if I wanted to use the first dynamic I'd definitely have to make it happen with someone Kim didn't trust at all (cue Ken).
So in short: The rework where it's KimKen - Kim suspects that Ken is the mole and goes all knife-to-throat femme fatale while accusing Ken of sleeping with Vegas. Which he is btw. But that's beside the point lol.
🌝 Who is one character you haven’t yet written for that you would like to?
Considering the rest of the content of my blog you absolutely could not guess this but yeah! Chan...........? the last few weeks I've suddenly been gripped with a bunch of swirling thoughts about his relationships with the three main family boys, with Big who also grew up in the household and how he's not allowed to pick a favourite bodyguard (big) or a favourite sibling (kim). Plus all the nuances of his loyalty to Korn and interactions with the minor household as well.
Chan + Vegas' dynamic particularly fascinates me! Vegas often uses english as a show of status: to include his family and exclude lower ranking bodyguards who are primarily thai speakers (eg. speaking english with macau at the dinner table, speaking english to Porsche and using weird idioms to throw him off balance). In ep 14 he pointedly says 'know your place!' in english to Chan. To any other bodyguard it would be another layer of pulling rank but Chan is acting on Korn's behalf and completely fluent in english so the effect is competely different, as is his response. There's a kind of implied superiority that Chan is immune to, both because of his proximity to Korn, AND because of his fluency in english. IDK if I've explained that well at ALL but there's something super interesting there ✨ Point being: Chan's english fluency vs Vegas' pointed use of english my beloved.
Also I joke about him and Gun giving "divorced" energy, but I feel like ChanGun has the exact same energy I love from KenBig but with even more hatefucking and complex ranks and loyalties. I am entering my Dilf4Dilf divorce era it seems. Rotating them in my mind as we speak.

I'm currently reworking the first chapter of my KimChay which starts with Tankhun and Chay bonding hours! Chay's trying to get Tankhun to let him learn self defence and Tankhun is deflecting.
“What-?” Chay says, momentarily distracted. Khun pounces.
“Yes! Robots, I helped him build them, you know! It was like a video game! No need to learn fighting when you can shoot with the computer or make explosions from the safety of your safe room! They were so helpful when- Owh. I don't want to talk about it actually.”
“When what?”
“I’m bored of this topic now, it’s not interesting to me anymore.”
“P’Khuuun,” Chay whines, hopping up onto the dresser and trying more and more ridiculous angles to lean himself into Tankhun’s eyeline as he dips and dodges around Chay’s encroaching face. Chay eventually gives up and grabs hold of his wrist, the way he does with Porsche, the way he did with-
Khun startles and tenses, wide eyed, milliseconds from snatching it away.
“Sorry-” Chay starts, removing his hands, but Tankhun’s arm stays frozen in mid air for a moment before he comes back to himself. Chay watches in the mirror as Khun settles his expression, when he’s satisfied he turns to look up at Chay. Level. His smile is soft but his eyes are blank. Chay’s seen that mask before.
“It's fine,” Tankhun says quickly, it sounds clipped and strange. His smile is bright as a camera flash and gone just as quickly. “Could you- in my closet-” He frowns, “You should swap the jackets. You forgot one. I picked it out for you and you forgot it and now your outfit is all wrong. Go and fix it-” he clicks his fingers “Pol. Help him fix it now.”
Pol nods, smiling at Chay and walking them back through the wardrobe doors. He beats Chay to the jacket and crouches to pick it up from where it was slumped on the floor. Chay reaches out to take it, suddenly desperate to leave and go back to Tankhun, to fix things, to apologise and tell him he was right and that the jackets do look better the other way around.
Pol doesn’t let go.
“Hold on, he needs a moment sometimes,”
It all ends up ok in the end! Tankhun is fine really!
In my mind Chay has very much latched on to Tankhun as a stabilising presence (which Tankhun has revelled in because very few people trust him that way). Tankhun is able to support Chay because he just inherently understands a lot of what Chay's going through, but because Khun is so overwhelmingly supportive, sometimes Chay forgets that the root of the understanding is that Tankhun is still traumatised too.
BUT it is fine. And crucially after he calms down, Khun doesn't let Chay shrink and go all apologetic and pliant the way he does when Porsche feels bad. Chay is allowed to feel bad for hurting Tankhun without that requiring him giving up all his autonomy and reasonable requests. I think that's a pretty important thing for Chay to learn - and that theme of autonomy becomes important in his conversations with Kim later!

How did u get an inspiration for your oc soojung?
Hi there,
This is a really good question btw. So the character Soojung comes from the idea of expanding characters in Fence a bit more; because we want to go in depths into the personal life of characters. I created Soojung as a character that would expand the life of my favorite character Sungchul. I planned her to also be the older sister of him as well. Designing ocs was one of my fav things to do when drawing you get to use imagination and try to blend it in to the work for creativity. Now for the inspiration, not only is Soojung is the older sister of Sungchul but also a kpop idol, so whenever I draw her I would look up for female kpop idols or generally pretty korean girls on pinterest that suited her visuals and style. One of the specific elements for creating Soojung is the hair (for elegance and uniqueness) the most recent and I would say common one I used is actually reference from my fav GL (girl's love) novel I used to read called (GAP: the series) and there is this character Khun Sam (the deutragonist of the book) who has really pretty hair and distinct visuals, which makes me think "Hey I am gonna use that for inspiration because it's frickin perfect." And here I am using that hairstyle for reference. So to conclude, I got inspirations from pinterest, images on google and characters from comics or novels.
Again this is a really good question, since I love talking about making OCs etc.

im far from being an expert on thai's language and culture, but i did do a lot of research on thai's pronouns and honorifics (it still doesn't mean that i won't make any mistakes though, so i already apologize if there are any) and i've actually already made a post about which ones i think jay and foei would use for each other (because im clearly SO normal about them sjkfgjdf)
to sum it up, i personally see jay and foei as being the same age, so in this case honorifics don't really come into play, or at least not as much as if they had an age difference. i do think foei would use 'khun' for jay at the beginning (so he'd call him 'khun jay' or 'khun gemini'), mostly because in the canon universe jay is still lian's business partner, so there's a certain amount of respect foei feels like he has to show him, and i think this works pretty well in the mafia!au too, because if jay has been in the business longer foei may think of him as having a higher status (even if jay is no longer part of that world)
on the other hand, i definitely think jay wouldn't use any honorifics for foei, not because he doesn't respect him or see him as inferior, but actually because he wants them to be equal and wishes for them to be closer (which is also why i think foei would drop the 'khun' once they get together, unless he is teasing jay)
anyway, the kind of honorifics they would use really depends on how you see them and their relationship, which may differ from how i see it. if that's the case (like for example if you think one of them is older than the other) and you still need the help, please let me know!!

As someone who initially found trusting people difficult, he is surprised when he finally comes to terms with his feelings for you. Though he may be cool and calculated at first, he’s loyal to a fault. if you want: fantasy (generic but hey) / a handful of interesting side characters / nice character designs (mostly) / story has potential but very weak here
Okay, actually? I liked “Tower of God”.
Indeed, it’s riddled with most of the nonsense I usually tear apart without any guilt whatsoever but I had 0 expectations for this. Most of the people who were disappointed by the anime seemed to have expected something. Oh not me, actually, based on the cover art I thought this was going to be as bad as most isekai stuff I review (this isn’t an isekai btw).
So, let’s state that as usual, the only thing interesting about the male protagonist is that he has 2 names for no reason whatsoever. See, this anime was based on a manhwa which is Korean and his name in that is “Bam” literally meaning “Night” in Korean. In the subs, that’s his name but in the Japanese dub he is called “Yoru” which also means night but in Japanese. This is confusing to me because unless I was hallucinating, I’m pretty sure one of the characters was referred to by a Chinese name which by the way isn’t even his actual name in the Manhwa.
My answer to all this is mostly “Eh, whatever” which is generally how I approached this whole anime. Sometimes, I do want to turn my brain off with non SoL and ToG didn’t frustrate me to the point of wanting to punch the screen (a few eye-rolls did happen though) so that’s why I can’t really pinpoint what was bad or good, it just was.
The main character of previously mentioned Bam is as basic as you can get. Short brown hair, has amnesia and has apparently been stuck in some cave the whole time after he regained consciousness. Yeah, he is the empty canvas with the plot armour and the very *convenient* powers he gets. His only place in the story is tha because he is “untainted” by the problems of the real world, all the others accept and flock around him because he is... positive??? I guess??
Anyway, cue the rest of the cast who actually carry the show. The plot of ToG is that people who live in some...other place in the tower (we don’t get any explanation to the outlay of the world this story takes place in) want to and are chosen to climb the Tower and if you reach the top it’ll be like... very cool. I guess? We get no explanation what’s there or how it works. So Bam encounters 1 smartie pants guy called Khun and a screaming giant alligator looking thing called Rak. Through *spoilers* the 3 team up and they are supposed to carry the first half of the anime exceptttt the only interesting among them is Khun. Rak is a comic relief and the MC is... yeah. After a certain test, the rest of the cast get more spotlight, some background story exposision dumps happen. It’s good enough and I did come to like some of the cast but the amount of comic reliefs was way too much. The most interesting characters are definitely Endorsi and Anaak from the participants and the test administrators. All 5 of these characters are closely tied to the Tower and its history itself which is probably why they’re more interesting than the bumbling buffoons who have no idea what’s going on 90% of the time.
There’re some plot inconsistencies that confused me, like how the first Test is a battle royal but then in another Test when one of the characters is threatening another with a knife, the test admin is really freaking out over it... why? It made NO sense. He must’ve seen countless participants slaughter each other, hell, they MAKE them do it so his reaction made no sense to me. But that’s looking deeper into the anime which you must NOT do under any circumstances if you wanna have fun!
The ending is... very frustrating. Like VERY. And considering that I don’t have time to read manhwa OR manga and I don’t know if they will make a follow up, I’m even more pissed. By the way, this anime is best binged. The episodes cut off at really random moments and the flow of it can really be disrupted if you just watch EP by EP.
Now, the technical stuff is very dependant on what you like. I personally really like this more simplistic art style with barely any shading which makes the colours pop more. I already liked the OP and EDs before I even watched this anime as they’re by a Korean boy group called Stray Kids. It’s a mix of pop and rap (as is SK’s style, just toned down a bit). I can’t recall the OST which means it was good and didn’t interfere with my experience.
Closing off, if you go into this not expecting ANYTHING and like fantasy, interesting character designs with motivations and can turn a blind eye to certaint plot inconsistencies and kind of unexpected behaviour by some of the cast, you’ll be able to chill like I did. But... I almost want to tell you to skip the final EP. Cause FU****

Okay but that whole battle, I think, was a HUGE turning point for Bam’s increase in abilities. The fact that we went from earthen-bound power titles to CELESTIAL ONES just upped the ante.
“Strength: bam!! obviously he is strong in terms of combat ability but mostly i think about this in terms of,, strength of character? the external pressures in bam’s life are very heavy but he’s not the type to run away, and he really does manage to stay “himself” even as he changes and grows. i think that’s incredibly strong and inspiring of him, i could never do that :’)”
I’m sure Bam never thought he could do it either. The thing is, he was forced to. He never had a choice. If you don’t have a choice, maybe you’d surprise yourself with how you grow as a person. ^^

OHHHH GOOD POINT. Khun reflects all of our feelings about Bam. Huh, that’s a good thing to reflect on.

SIU is AMAZING at foreshadowing stuff like this. He has a way of--even if he never quite thought of it before--making it seem like all of this was meant to happen in some way. Yes, no one tied to the tower meant for Rachel to be part of the story, but her presence was supposed to be from the very beginning, simply because SIU willed it.

Yihwa still thinks that Rak is a dinosaur.
Miseng asserts that she is older than Prince. But Prince refuses to tell her his age.
Khun has decided that the other ability of the White Heavenly Mirror is extremely 'dangerous', so he decided not to use it.

They knew each other in the family, Khun went and got Ran when he heard they were in the same floor. Ran is helping him because of their past. This will be revealed more in the Khun Family arc later.

Secret. But she will eventually show up soon enough.

Where did Khun’s Manbarondenna go?
Narae is taking good care of it when Khun left it with Isu’s team. She is still with Hong btw.
About the return date, I am thinking of July 21st. But it could be postponed until August 4th. About the wrist, I think I will have to carry this pain with me now. I could go indefinite rest until it goes away, but it will be bad for everyone. Still, I am lucky author, being able to go on.
Next arc will begin after a couple of chapters that is wrapping up the Epilogue we had. Unlike Workshop which is a long arc, it will be a ‘trilogy’ of arcs focusing on the Train and the Hidden floor. Also there is a Idol of Tower arc ready. And the unfairness of the Tower will be told. Meanwhile the ugly secrets of the Great Families will be revealed. Some personal stories, mainly Khun and Rachel will be there too. I hope you all enjoy what new things I attempt to do.

So I'm watching Kiss the Series and I hate half the characters. (I'm on ep13 out of 16 btw.)
There are some characters I like:
Sandee (I love her very much),
Thada (he's cool and a good guy, and I love his tattoos. Dang boy.),
their friends,
P'Chacha (? Is that his name? Sandee's brother figure) (next to Sandee, he's the best character on this show. I love him to bits),
Sanrak's friend whose actor also plays Green from 2Gether (he's great and I wish him all the best. I hope he gets a boyfriend in this series),
Sanrak's immediate supervisor - what's her name. Khun Jane or something. She's awesome.
Thada's tattoo artist friend - no idea what his name is. But he's a good friend and has good advice.
People I really hate:
Sanrak (she's DUMB personified. She annoys the crap out of me)
Sanrak's boyfriend P'First
Nong May (WOW she's got some screws loose - but it kinda makes sense knowing her backstory?)
P'Na's (ex)girlfriend. I hate her with a passion.
P'THEW!!!!!!! I disliked him from day one and it only grew the more pushy/clingy/expectant/stalkerish he got. Woooooow! He expected a lot from Sandee!!
And I'm gonna pencil in P'Na here. I don't mind him but he's also not my favorite.
P'First's side thing Cat. I don't like her but she's honestly not even the worst.
Those are literally all the characters I can think of right now.
So at this point, I'm skipping over pretty much everything to do with Sanrak and just watching Sandee's story. Thada is awesome. And I'm so curious about what's going to happen with Nong May! She's kinda terrifying!

God fucking right? It’s because these are a bunch of people who thrive on the idea that it’s because of their intelligence that they don’t get any good things instead of realizing that what Kun fucking did with the octopus was SURPRISE what intelligence actually looks like? ? ? ?
