Friko is yet another young indie band out of Chicago. Horsegirl, Lifeguard, Kara Jackson, Sharp Pins. And here comes Friko with their full length debut LP, "Where we've been, Where we go from here".
Austin Town Hall stated that they had a hard time pigeonholing the band. Agreed. Bands from Black Country, New Road to The Lemon Twigs to The Strokes, to some of the above mentioned Chicago bands can all be heard.
