Caring for your Pokemon: Farfetch'd/Sirfetch'd
This is going to be a bit interesting as I'm focusing on both versions at once and going to be noting differences between them.
When it comes to a kantonian Farfetch'd, the stalk they carry can hold many different forms of use. Some use it for nests, some use it as a weapon, some use it as emergency food. The one's that use it as a weapon are slightly rarer, as most Farfetch'd consider the stalk to be important, so defending it is a top most priority.
Now as for Galarian Farfetch'd, they use the stalk primarily as a weapon, so defending it is not the upmost priority to them. However, it is still important to them to keep the stalk in good care so they are not defenseless.
Sirfetch'd keeps their stalk in the most care compared to it's previous and kantonian forms, as this stalk is one that they have used in many battles and means that it has expert knowledge on how to attack correctly with it. When this stalk retires, so does it. A Sirfetch'd finding another stalk to use is possible, but very rare. If you have a Sirfetch'd that's retired from battle, keep it comforted as it may miss those days. Don't try to rush it back into battle or try to force another leek upon it. These things take time.
Keeping the leek in perfect condition, I advise getting some sort of grass type as a way to help keep it in better form. A Torterra would be useful with it's back, or a Meganium with it's breath.
Sirfetch'd cares about honor and respect, take care of it and it will take care of you.

Did you know that the Farfetch'd from the Galar region are brave warriors? Wielding thick, tough leeks in battle, the stalks of leeks are much larger than those found with its Kantonian counterparts. Farfetch'd that adapted to these stalks took on a unique form!

#0083: Galarian Farfetch'd
Galarian Farfetch'd has a similar look to Kantonian Farfetch'd. Its plumage is now a darker shade of brown, its leek is significantly bigger, and the black V-shaped marking on its forehead looks more like eyebrows now. Also, it has a four-feathered crest on its head instead of a three-feathered one. Its underbelly is still beige, and its beak and feet are still an orangish yellow color. Also, it has a tuft of feathers on its chest. Galarian Farfetch'd has a cooler design than its Kantonian counterpart, so I like it a little bit more. Its darker colors look pretty nice on its design, but its palette is still pretty uninteresting to me. The colors themselves are nice, but it's just a duck.
Shiny Galarian Farfetch'd isn't very interesting, either. Its plumage is now a lighter shade of brown, and its underbelly is more yellowish. Nothing else changes. It's an improvement from Kantonian Farfetch'd's shiny palette, but it's nothing exciting. The colors look alright, but they're not any better than the regular palette.

Is the population of Kantonian Farfetch'd dwindling or increasing? I know that people love to eat their meat and their leek, and Farfetch'd are pretty rare this days due to almost being in the brink it extinction.

Thanks for the question.
We’re actually pretty concerned about the Kantonian Farfetch’d because you are absolutely right about their near extinction status as well as the reasons being food related. So far the Kantonian government has been pretty resistant to any safeguards or proper legal restrictions… we’re more than concerned that Team Rocket has some shadow influence in the region.
Until some concentrated breeding programs and protected species status is granted to Farfetch’d it’s going to continue to be up to us as every day citizens to keep it safe. For the time being we actually feel as though this particular species is safer being battle trained and used by trainers because at least that way they’re not being eaten, which buys us some time.
There’s going to be some really difficult conversations ahead of us if we want to avoid an extinction for this species.

As an aspiring Ranger, Clover loves learning about regional variants! While travelling around the world, she'd take notes on the counterparts of all Galarian forms. Here are some of her thoughts and observations:
Clover is less scared of Unovan Stunfisk because they shock their prey with electricity, whereas Galarian Stunfisk act more like bear traps.
She's glad that Corsola outside of Galar are so lively. Although, she does feel bad when Mareanie hunt them for their branches.
Clover is surprised that Kantonian Farfetch'd, Kantonian Mr Mime and Hoennian Linoone don't evolve.
She is shocked that Kantonian Meowth and Unovan Yamask evolve into different pokemon altogether.
She likes to make comparisons between all forms of Slowpoke, Slowbro and Slowking.
Unovan Zen Mode Darmanitan fascinates her. Clover finds their stone statue like appearance very interesting because it's so different from Galarian Darmanitan's bouncing snowman form.

Chapter 5 - How it all Began

"Arceus, Harley, when- when did you get so fast?!" Ace gasped for breath as they stumbled to a halt, resting their hands on their knees.
"I didn't get faster, you're just slow because you've got that big coat on." Harley teased, one hand on their hip as they gestured to the large fur-lined coat Ace wore like a cloak around their shoulders. "Or are you just slowing down in your old age, eh?"
"Oi! Shut your gob, I'm only 25!" Ace swatted them lightly across the back of the head, earning a laugh in response. "Come on, we shouldn't leave your friends waiting any longer, should we?"
"Yeah. Need a hand up the stairs?" Harley grinned cockily, running up the stairs to Hammerlocke with an offended Ace on their tail.
Harley had been to Hammerlocke more times then they could count, but the city never failed to amaze them. The gigantic stadium with architecture like wings scraping across the sky was awe-inspiring. Maybe if they got lucky, they'd get to meet Raihan.
"Look who finally decided to show up, hmm?" A lilting voice called from nearby, and Harley spotted his friends standing by the door to the Pokemon center. Lydia and Owen, both enjoying pastries they'd probably bought from the Cafe nearby.
Lydia was a tall, slender girl, a year or two older than both Owen and Harley. She had brown hair with a streak of bright green running through it, tied in a ponytail. Her Farfetch'd was seated comfortably on her shoulder, munching on a berry he'd been given. She'd had him for years now, but Onion (as she named him) still hadn't evolved. Perhaps he just didn't want to.
Owen was about the same height as Harley, give or take an inch. He was gentler than he looked, though his rather piercing gaze made him a little more intimidating than his personality was. He had a Kantonian Meowth perched on his head, wearing a cozy little vest warning people not to pet him because he was a service Pokemon. Mao certainly looked tough, with claws and fangs, but he had never hurt a soul in his life.
"I hope I didn't keep you guys waiting too long." Harley chuckled guiltily as they jogged up to their friends.
"You didn't," Owen assured him with a grin. "But you left us thinking you were going to be late to your own birthday celebration, mate."
"We were so close to just opening your gifts ourselves." Lydia laughed, moving Onion off one shoulder and onto the other. "Happy birthday, by the way."
"Ha, thanks, Dee. You guys didn't need to get presents for me!" Harley started, but was quickly interrupted by Ace setting a hand on their shoulder.
One of the reasons that Harley, Lydia and Owen had clicked so well was the fact that the two didn't lose their minds over seeing Ace or finding out that they were related. Everybody else they'd met had immediately jumped onto the idea of being able to meet the champion, not being their friend. Harley was eternally grateful for that fact.
"Shush, Harley. Let your friends be your friends, yeah?" Ace patted their back. "I'm going to go run by the stadium and check up on everything. Try not to cause too much chaos, yeah?"
"No promises." Harley replied with a shrug, and Ace rolled their eyes before leaving.
"So, did you get your first Pokemon?" Owen asked, leaning forward so much Mao almost toppled off his head. It was almost as if Pippa was summoned, because she emerged from Harley's bag with a wide yawn.
"Ooh my goodness!" Lydia gasped, clapping excitedly. "Finally! I was wondering when you were going to get one!"
"The Professor let me take her." Harley grinned, giving Pippa a pat on the head. "Her name's Pippa, she's a Slowpoke."
"I forget there are Galarian Slowpoke sometimes," Owen admitted. "I'm so used to the Kantonian ones back home."
"I've never seen a Kantonian Slowpoke before. What do they look like?" Harley's eyes lit up, but Lydia cleared her throat.
"We can continue our deep slowpoke discussions later. For now, birthday time!" She pulled a box out of seemingly thin air, holding it out to him with a grin.
"Oh, Arceus, guys-" Harley started, but Lydia shushed him.
"Just take the present, Harley."
"Alright, alright, you win." Harley took the box, prying the lid off and looking inside. Inside was a comically sized Wooloo cushion, with plush white wool and a neatly-sewn face. It was almost a perfect replica. "Ohhh my- Oh! OH!"
Owen laughed as Harley positively beamed, giving the cushion a test squish. It was absolutely perfect.
"We both chipped in to get it, since we know you love these sorts of things." He explained, scooping Mao off his head and cradling the Meowth in his arms. "Mao got it off the high shelf for us."
"Mmrow!" Mao confirmed cheerfully, golden coin glittering in the sunlight.
"Thanks, you guys! You're the best!" Harley laughed gleefully as he stuffed the cushion back into the box, tucking it under his arm. "What're our plans for today?"
"Up to you." Lydia set a hand on her hip. "What about we go to the battle cafe? Maybe you can give Pippa some practice in battle!"
"Ooh, that sounds cool!" Harley grinned, glancing at the slowpoke. "You want to kick butt?"
"Po-poooke." Pippa affirmed with her best dopey smile. The group of kids went down the street to the cafe, naive to the future that lurked ahead.
Ace was standing in the middle of the empty field, pacing back and forth along the lines as Raihan spoke to them. The great tamer of dragons had kept his place even all these years later, though he'd discarded his old hoodie years prior after a particularly nasty sandstorm tore it apart. He had simply resorted to tearing the sleeves off his gym uniform, wearing the tattered remains of his jacket around his hips.
"So, what you're telling me is all sorts of Pokemon are just - turning up? Raiding the city?" Ace rubbed their chin. "How come I haven't heard about this?"
"The first real situation happened yesterday." Raihan explained, crossing his arms. "Right after those tremors, remember those? A whole flock of Corviknight from the taxis went nuts, started attacking their cabbies out of nowhere."
"Was anyone hurt?"
"Not badly, no. A few are scratched up, but the others managed to chase off the things 'til I got there. The Corviknight seemed fine after a quick trip to the Pokemon center, like they hadn't just gone absolutely mad."
Both were quiet for a moment, Raihan the first to break the uncomfortable silence.
"Doesn't this remind you of anything, champ?"
"Yeah, when the old chairman tried to bring the Darkest Day about. But it couldn't be that again, could it? Leon's running Macro Cosmo now, and he knows better than anyone else how stupid of an idea that is." Ace scoffed. "I'll go chat up some of the other gym leaders, see if they've had similar experiences… make sure you keep an eye out, call me if something else happens."
"Aye aye." Raihan saluted with a mocking grin, giving Ace a thump on the back. "Remember you owe me a rematch."
"How could I forget?" Ace rolled their eyes in response, prodding Raihan's side. "Alright, I've got to go."
"See ya," Raihan waved, and the two went their separate ways. Ace's mind was abuzz with thoughts, theories, any thread they could grasp and hold on to.

Knight type (Fakemon type)
This is the concept of Knight type in my possible future fan made Pokemon game (Also known as Fuchsite & Kunzite). Fuchsite & Kunzite not only has Wind, Elastic, Aura, Monster, Sound and Cosmic types but it also has Knight type as well, Fuchsite & Kunzite will have seven new types (Wind, Elastic, Aura, Monster, Sound, Cosmic and Knight types) which has more new types than Gen 2 and Gen 6 combined. Some of the older Pokemon so far will have Knight in part of their typings, Kantonian Farfetch'd will be Knight/Flying type, Galarian Farfetch'd and Sirfetch'd will be Knight/Fighting types, Smeargle will be Normal/Knight type, Gallade and Mega Gallade will be Psychic/Knight types, Samurott will be Water/Knight type, Escavalier will be Bug/Knight type, Cobalion will be Steel/Fighting type, Terrakion will be Rock/Fighting type, Virizion will be Grass/Fighting type, Keldeo and its Resolute form will be Water/Knight type, Chesnaught will be Grass/Knight type, both Budew, Roselia and Roserade will be Grass/Knight types, Oranguru will be Knight/Psychic type, Passimian will be Knight/Aura type, Corviknight will be Flying/Knight type, and Iron Valiant will be Fairy/Knight type.

i actually had some mons planned out for them! not full teams, between 1-3 each, and i started drawing it but i never finished :') (story of my life lol)
they all serve a specific purpose to the OC's personality/job of course

Yukure had Riolu, Sylveon, and Meganium (since he's a therapist)
Riolu to help gage his client's emotions, Meganium to help relax the patient, and Sylveon for worst case intervention.
His Riolu hasn't evolved yet, because Yukure usually works nights and hasn't gotten around to training him in the day. (rip lol... incidentally, if you were to draw Yukure as a Pokemon, Riolu or Lucario would be the go)

Ranzatsu focuses on being gaudy and beautiful since he deliberately stands out so as not to be forgotten.
Going with the dragon theme, he has Milotic, Gyarados (Shiny), Dragonair (Shiny), and maybe a Spritzee just to be obnoxious. (Yukure won't let him keep it in the house)
(If you were to draw Ran as a pokemon, the Shiny Dragonair would be the best match to his powers)

April obviously has a Meowth (Kantonian), front and center. Maybe even a Persian. (if drawing her as a pokemon, Meowth would be the pick)
She also has a Nickit (helps steal stuff with Meowth), and Carbink (One of their prizes). She really wants a Gholdengo, but hasn't gotten enough coins yet, so her Gimmighoul stays home in her attic.

Lyle and Arcelia specifically are tricky, because they are kind of inseparable, I honestly need to work on them more to know what mons they'd have.
Arc herself has a lot in common with Gardevoir, but idk if that means it would represent her, or if she would have one. The logical conclusion then would be that Lyle would have/be represented by Gallade, which isn't a bad idea, but hey.
I could see Lyle having a Jolteon and Arc having an Arcanine though, cuz Lyle borrows Arc's needle powers/under the cool facade he's an emotional wreck, and Arcanine for Arc because Arc is also a fluffy doggy that can eat u :) (Also maybe a Houndoom for Arc, but that's spoilers)

Falke has a Magnemite (holding his tools), Cubone (serves as a ground when working with electiricity + they're both lonely af), and Cinccino (resistant to static electricity, helps keep things clean)

Mirale has a female Pyroar (always kinda associated her with Pumas in general), Haxorus (she primarily uses axes), Galarian Farfetch'd (Mirale is a fighter and can use any weapon in a pinch!), and Aegislash (spoilers).
Also at some point a Golurk given to her by Freya

Tomasso is the chef, so he has Delibird (food storage), a male Combee (sweetener + somewhat reflects Tomasso's backstory), and Slurpuff (to smell and see if ingredients are still good)

Freya is mostly spoiler reasons, but she has a Reuniclus (could use powers, but instead just smashes if forced to fight), Mawile (looks cute, can annihilate you), and either a Shaymin or an Enamorous (maybe both)
