Can we just talk about how badly lit and rushed the kissing scene between Kat and Adena was?
Watching the series finale of The Bold Type we got to see all the heterosexual pairings getting their final kissing scenes that were well lit and not as rushed. But for Kat and Adena’s final kiss it was so dark I could barely make out anything! I know I shouldn’t be too upset because The Bold Type writers have treated Kadena like absolute crap/secondary characters since the beginning. But I am still hurt that is all we got. It’s so disheartening to get crumbs from the best couple on the show.

things i want for kadena in S4
• i want to see them vulnerable
• intense stares across the room
• trying to act like the other half isn’t in the room
• cyberstalking
• being forced to work for a project together so they “have to” spend time together while they were trying to avoid each other (maybe a behind the scenes of a photoshoot for Kat to share on social media) [ends up with them starting to talk again]
• compliments about each other’s work and then sad smiles
• Adena staying away from Kat for a while because of her trying to focus on herself, but then slowly making steps to turn the awkwardness into friendship
• Kat getting the mental rest she needs and then putting effort to win Adena’s heart
+ bonus: it’s always been Kat to ring up Adena’s door to admit her feelings. i want the other way to happen next time. like maybe Kat implicating she’s ready for a relationship, but Adena being pressured by work so she needs to “think about it” and then end of the episode rings up Kat’s door to make it work
