Fernando 2012 Chair Lore (source: me)
So I've been thinking a lot about Fernando sitting in this particular chair in the Ferrari garage in 2012 for [redacted] reasons:
Originally I just wanted to find more pictures of it for reference, and then went down a rabbit hole of 2012 pictures, trying to figure out when exactly the chair came to be. There's so many pictures of him in it, and it's so funny to me to imagine them hauling this super villain chair all around the world for him. And so now I'm obsessed with the evolution of it:
Pre-Chair - Australia to Bahrain:
He just had this little stool, well I should say big because it somehow still manages makes him look small. Clearly not comfortable; to paraphrase @sweatyflytrap, it's not conducive to his inner Shakespeare villain monologues
The Chair Appears - Spain
He suddenly now has this, aforementioned, super villain chair. Several things, why is it like this. It looks like a sim chair almost ngl. And then the weird plexiglass support is confusing me, like where did they get that. It furthers my narrative they just had this chair that they couldn't put in a car so they put that clear bottom on it. Anyways yes good, now he has somewhere to brood
The Chair Evolves - Silverstone
Look!! They gave him a booster seat!!!
The Chair is Now Here to Stay :)
I downloaded a truly horrible amount of pics him in this chair, so now you all must also look at them >:)
*he still had the chair in 2013, but I think they took it away from him in 2014 :( Is nothing sacred in this world??? I hope he got to take it home hahaha

Happy Turkey Day!
This was me smiling yesterday. I was happy because all the babies and all the being mommy time with all 5 of the littles.
Today I’m pouting.
I just begrudgingly cooked everything except the Turkey. I hate living in a damn shack omg. My kitchen makes me want to stab ppl when I attempt to cook…which is literally never now (well except today when I’m obligated to).
I wanted to make the Turkey. I bought one at my BFs request. And then last minute his mom wanted to make a Turkey and he went out and bought another one. I’m literally going to throw this one away bc my kids won’t eat it whats the damn point. I don’t have money to spend on this stupid holiday. I DO want to make his kids feel special and happy and thought of though…. bc their mom fucking abandoned them after giving birth to them. But like my kids? They don’t care. 😩 molly eats like 4 foods and Turkey ain’t one of them. Junior would eat a little but it wouldn’t even make a damn dent. I was so grumpy y’all. Grummmmmpy
But it’s ok. I turned on Latin music and danced and cleaned and cooked and my bad mood was little bit lessened.
I know I should be thankful today but I’m just fucking pissed at the earth for being so unfair💙💁🏻♀️✨

stumbled across some of your posts about a code lyoko ttrpg
i am interested please tell me more 😭
ive been wanting to run code lyoko dnd for so long but i dont have the smarts to change dnd to make it feel code lyoko
Hey there! I'm super excited that someone's interested in this because it's such a passion project of mine haha, I'm sorry in advance if this answer is more than you bargained for!
To give you the rundown, I ran a very brief and experimental dnd 5e hack for Code Lyoko a couple of years ago for some friends. It was a lot of fun, but the system was SO badly Frankenstein'ed that we ran into a lot of technical issues, especially regarding the Lyoko/reality split and how it effected different builds. The old guide for that hack can be found here for free, but please take note that it is very informal and poorly optimized!
Recently though, I've been experimenting with non-dnd systems and building my own tabletop games, which is where Warriors of Xanadu comes into play. (This might get lengthy so feel free to skip to the TLDR.)
Warriors of Xanadu is a code-lyoko/garage-kids inspired system that I'm working on myself with the help of a few more experienced friends. It's built off of the Apocalypse World framework (basically a 2d6 system–if you've played Monster of the Week, Masks, or Avatar: Legends, think something like that) specifically designed to work well with the world and story CL provides. That means all the gameplay mechanics are inherently relevant to running code-lyoko-inspired adventures and there's no extra work to be done on your part. It's also a lot easier to teach/learn than something like DnD. (Even the character sheets are designed to be accessible so players could technically make their character with just their printed-off sheets and no additional resources! Much easier than dnd.)
Each non-GM player plays as a "Hero" and chooses a unique combination of a playbook (centered around academic character tropes like cool kid, geek, class clown, etc.) and a class sheet (how they appear on "Xanadu," with options like rogue, mage, warrior, etc.). Then, In-game, heroes go through episodic challenges where they encounter problems in reality caused by "the Virus," and must transport themselves to Xanadu to combat it. There's also a handful of original mechanics relating to social/academic rapport, corruption from the supercomputer, etc. The health/harm system and combat is inspired by Apocalypse World and Monster of the Week, and is meant to inspire a more survival/horror element than what something like dnd would provide. (Essentially the goal is not to engage in and "win" lengthy combat encounters, but to stay alive and usually avoid enemies when possible.)
I feel it's also important to note that it's not 1:1 Code Lyoko; it's very transformative and a handful of ideas are heavily abstracted to be more fun in a ttrpg setting. It's open-ended and customizable enough that you could technically run an unrelated story with it. That also means that there's some fun surprises for folks familiar with Code Lyoko, though, and you could still run something close-to-canon if you wanted.
The first draft of WoX is about 60-70% completed, I just need to finish the GM-heavy parts of the manual, finish some of the moves, and actually put together fillable playbooks/class sheets. I'm hoping to have it completed and ready to playtest by the end of the summer, but that's a loose deadline. Once I've done some playtesting and gotten feedback from others, I'll probably release the first public version on drivethru rpg and/or itch.io as a free or PWYW sorta deal.
TLDR; Warriors of Xanadu is a powered-by-the-apocalypse style trrpg system I'm working on. It's made from the ground up to support a Code Lyoko inspired campaign. I'm almost done with it but still have some work to do!
If you're comfy coming off of anon, I'd be happy to make note of you and send you the playtest version when I'm done with it, or answer any additional questions! (Same goes for anyone else reading this!)

Holly what’s wrong with horror movies
i just can’t with them, my imagination is too vivid even if i know it’s not real; my friends forced me to watch annabelle 2 and despite a) predicting the entire film within 2 minutes and b) not looking at the screen for 3/4 of the film, i was not having a good time ㅠㅠ
also i’m pretty sure i still haven’t recovered from watching some kind of grimm fairytale film (i’m pretty sure it wasn’t even supposed to be scary) where a horse spun in a child like a spider and swallowed it whole… i think that still haunts me

When my brother Jacob and I (1 year apart) were kids we made up some parkour shit and he named it Jacobtricks but he wouldnt let me do Maddietricks. We would also build bunkers in the big basement room with all our toys and whip Lincoln logs at each other across the basement. He also convinced me to be a boy for a week and wear his clothes and I went by Charizard. Was relentlessly bullied for that. We also had a fat little Asian looking baby doll we happened to name Chingy. We would go outside and throw him in the air as high as we could and that went on for years. We would tape pokemon cards to the bar of our bicycles so the spokes would hit it to make an obnoxious sound. Because he was all into ricer cars. When we had bedtime, we would sneak on our DSs and just play Animal Crossing. My dad worked in computers so we always had the most recent Macs. Jacob had a big blue eMac in his room. All we did was make dumb songs on GarageBand and Jacob would use iTunes gift cards to find the most obscure trance music and we would watch it with the visualizer. He just moved back up to Ohio from Florida and we have been hanging out every weekend. He's getting his own place soon and I am happy to sit there and watch YouTube videos of our favorite concerts.
