People think being self aware cancels out mental illness. That when you realise your thoughts or behaviours are irrational you just stop having/doing them
Instead what happens if you're extremely self aware and mentally ill is that you just think in a resigned kind of way "I'm being really fucking crazy right now" while being very loudly mentally ill
Sometimes you are able to tell the people around you "oh, you can ignore me rn. I'm just being extremely mentally ill rn. It will eventually pass" and then continue your erratic behaviour. But mostly it's just privately thinking: "well this is embarrassing but I can't turn it off so just gotta deal with it I guess."
It's infuriating honestly

Ok chat. Question.
What demon features/how prominent of demon features do we think Taylor got after hitting Demon Puberty.
Wings? Tail? Horns? Fangs? Claws? Flaming hair? Markings? Etc Etc?
He's only technically half demon(?) but he's also... He's the son of the Prince of Hell? Unsure if that makes the demon blood more likely to come through? Also Nicky himself likely isn't a full demon because Morgan is human so maybe demon blood/living in Hell is just that powerful.
Personally, I don't imagine Taylor or Glenn with wings canonically ( but I've considered for aus/for fun art reasons) but Nicky and Jodie do have them. Hermie is tricky bc he's a bunch of playdough mixed together to resemble a person but I think him developing extra limbs/horns/wings whenever necessary is part of his charm.

question. so me and my friends (not all) when we see someone who’s pretty we go ‘key sounds!!’ kind of as a way to be like WOAHH COOL PRETTY PERSON!! And most of the time its a feminine presenting person since the people in my friendgroup who say that are people who like women(sapphic btw)
and my friend (who’s a guy and is straight-to our knowledge) said thats the same as guys objectifying women and i need ya’lls opinions on that
we also say ‘muffins!!’ when we see a gender envy person since we like to come up with words for some reason idk

Hi I'm ATMODpilled rn and I wanna talk about my Robert headcanons
I think the reason he has the least amount of starting sanity is because he was the only grandparent who made contact with the Doodler prior to the crew meeting on the Blue Planet set and he actually had a similar thing to the Oaks where the Doodler "merged" with him slightly ( but not nearly as significantly as the Oaks/Hildy)
Robert has had chronic insomnia ever since the Doodler attacked him and drowned his parents. He has a difficult time falling asleep on the best of days + often gets paranoid and anxious at night. His stress dreams usually are flashes of the incident + of the ocean in general
Robert has a deep fear but also a deep fascination to the ocean and is drawn to it in art/fiction despite the uncomfortable feeling he gets.
Both Robert and Sally are artists; Sally is more experienced and teaches Robert how to draw during picnic dates. Both are fans of en plein air works, but Robert dabbles in portraits of his cats and Sal.
Robert is nose-blind but uses colognes that he knows Sally likes; he can accidentally go overboard at times to the point where the cologne on his coat will rub off on other's jackets when on coat racks or in closets.

God, was relistening to the ‘Fortnite’ arc and like brain blast…
what if Cern actually killed Darryl with the rock? Like seriously crushed him.
Like thinking how the other three dads would deal with the lost, Grant dealing with cause seeing his dad die would for certainly cause him to change into another person so nulling the blood pact.
Maybe Grant would want to kill Cern and the other dads dealing with the choice of killing or not with Cern as well. Cause this isn’t a stranger, this is someone they travelled with and did cause horrible pain of losing his children.
And since Darryl would be dead, the Purple Robes would be able to get Grant and wouldn’t make sense as he was always the backup plan and the only kid without any real connection to them.
But maybe they would take something anyway…
Cause spells bring back the dead work in the Forgotten Realms.
So the rest of the story would be three dads and a boy on mission to get the other kids back.
