I will find a way to play it eventually but it frustrates me so much because it was the only distracting joy I've been looking forward to, I haven't been able to enjoy any videogames or other hobbies of mine because I am too depressed hearing daily about my friends and acquaintances in Ukraine getting bombed and having their electricity and water cut!!! I can't do shit about this war, P*tin has destroyed my indigenous culture and land and is now taking on other places and I've been pushing against him for years for zero results and I can't even have a single moment of joy in my life because it's all in vain!!!!! I absolutely love Star Trek's sci-fi nonsense and diplomatic missions but my favourite episodes have to be the ones where they're not in the correct genre.

Things like going to the wild west, playing baseball, getting forced into a small child's fanfiction of a bedtime story, a twink with an accent acting like James Bond, an android and his pal becoming Holmes and Watson. Oh also nerds writing oc fanfiction and pretending it's a movie.

Also the time-travel episodes. Like when DS9 fucked around during the Tribble episode on TOS. Or when Spock and Kirk ran away from cops in the 1930's. Or when 3 fuckers get transported to Roswell.

It's fun. It's funky. It has the potential to be very goofy. Also seeing a bunch of scientists and diplomats being forced to play weird hopscotch is way too fun of a concept not to love.
