I don’t know why but I just love any glimpse of what Peter’s siblings are upto especially as adults and I have to ask have you ever consider them wanting to find Peter after Elias sent out those wedding invitations? Maybe they don’t go tho the wedding like Clara but they all become very curious about this man their brother married and start stalking him and they all become very concerned because to them it seems like their little brother is a sugar daddy? Stella and Judith are extremely concerned while Aaron thinks his sisters is freaking out over nothing because he’s the only one who can tell it’s not a sugar relationship. This has kinda become a prompt but I just think the adult Lukas deserve to have some silly hijinks as a family together. And I just love your expansion of the Lukas family cinematic universe, and I just can’t wait for more.
First of all!! This is super cool and sweet and i am always a sucker for talking about the Lukas siblings! Also feel free to throw me prompts! I enjoy working on them. I just have lots of feelings for this disfunctional family and their relationship or lack of, its just so interesting with what little we know and i already love all of them!!! Ahh.

I am thinking perhaps expanding on the idea of all of them crossing paths eventually for the post wedding experience. Also the concept of Stella and Judith thinking Elias is taking advantage of Peter is just very hilarious to me and i love it dearly so know that you made me laugh.

I saw a movie that I’d like to suggest - “Down Low” starring Zachary Quinto. I rented it on Amazon Prime. But it will probably be on a streaming service later.
The movie is a little raunchy, quirky with many twists and turns, a few of them very dark. But on the whole I found ite funny (and I even got teary eyed at the end).
Quinto plays a divorced man. He broke up with his wife of 25 years when he confessed to her he was gay. At the opening of the movie he has hired a masseur with the prearrange agreement he would receive a happy ending at the end of their session.
The masseur is played Lukas Gage. Gage appeared in the first season of “The White Lotus”. He was the kid seduced by the hotel manager. In a now infamous scene, the manager rimmed him and they both got caught!
Gage also co-wrote the script. I won’t say his masseur is an airhead because he’s too smart for that. But he’s odd and a little campy and maybe a little nuts.
The massage and happy ending get interrupted, then a series of events occur that get more and more complicated and outrageous. (Some of them fueled by illicit drugs).
Judith Light plays Quinto’s neighbor. It took be about 5 minute until I recognized her. Simon Rex plays someone who arrives to help them with a problem. I recognized him in about 2 minutes. New actor Sebastian Arroyo plays an important role which drives most of the plot.
I started this post by saying I wanted to suggest the movie… depending on your taste, you might not enjoy some of the dark humor. A link to the trailer is below BUT personally I think the trailer reveals too much. I think some of the twists need to be experienced in ignorance.

Just some observations about MAG 159.
So Peter had two sisters that moved away before Peter could learn their names or know much of anything about them other than that they were a disappointment.
Since they moved of their own volition rather than being sent away like Peter’s other siblings, it can be inferred they reached adulthood/an age old enough to leave home while Peter was still a child.
His other siblings - Aaron and Judith - may have been removed from the home when they were still children as a result of this failure, because they weren’t going to waste their time on children that were going down the same path as the two sisters.
Ironic that he talks about his mother not being a cruel woman while also describing the fear and isolation his siblings would have gone through from being uprooted, and also openly admitting his childhood was abusive enough that he and his siblings would have been taken by child protective services.
‘For children that age’ makes them sound very young when they were sent away. Peter was probably an ‘only child’ from a reasonably young age.
He says their mother stopped conceiving because her husband drifted away, but it seems unlikely that was the only reason, since they definitely weren’t together out of love. I imagine she was getting too old to conceive more children by the point her husband drifted/withered away or just didn’t want to deal with marriage/the associated intimacy anymore.
The Lukas’ only marry to propagate the family line, but it seems like some Lukas’, like Peter’s father, aren’t cut out for that kind of cold, loveless marriage. I also get the impression that propagating the family line is considered a family obligation, which doesn’t surprise me because this is very common in cults, which the Lukas’ clearly are. It seems to be an obligation Peter avoided since he spilled his entire life story and never mentioned children, and considering how much he hates connection/intimacy, I imagine he made a deliberate effort to avoid it (kind of hard to push someone into an arranged marriage if they’re out at sea!).
(I also like the idea that part of it is because he’s gay, but tbh that’s very hc territory and I imagine Peter just isn’t interested in people in a romantic/intimate fashion.)
Very surprising she’s still alive, especially considering the frequency of funerals in the Lukas family.
All things considered (his mom being alive, Peter still being a child when his two older sisters left home, growing up with television, and barely having known Jonah as James Wright despite the Lukas’ connection with him and the Institute), I think 44 for Peter makes sense. Which would make his mom 84 in my hc.

Waktu lagi buka-buka instagram, nemu sebuah story yang lewat.
Bener-bener merasa relate banget karena tahun 2023 adalah tahun yang aku jalani dengan meminimalkan drama perasaan. Banyak yang terjadi di 2023. Awal tahun dibuka dengan penelitian TA dan dapat giveaway nonton show stand up comedy Abdur Arsyad yang bertajuk "Pahlawan Perlu Tanda Jasa," lalu pertengahan tahun sibuk dengan seminar dan sidang yang mungkin bagi sebagian besar orang penuh dengan drama dan air mata, tapi bagi aku enggak. Terus tahun 2023 benar-benar idgaf sama percintaan dan pertemanan, kaya no hard feeling aja dengan kedatangan maupun kepergian orang-orang. Nggak terlalu excited tapi juga nggak terlalu sedih. Terlebih banyak waktu di 2023 dihabiskan dengan para "thinker" yang membuat aku kebawa logis dan nggak baperan. Kek ya udah lah, kalau mau drama ini bukan waktunya lagi. Tipis banget energi aku tuh cuy.
Terus di 2023 aku menemukan versi diri aku yang lain. Aku tau, aku memang gak akan pernah kembali ke setelan defaultku ketika sebelum terluka 100%. Pada dasarnya dulu aku memang baperan dan memberi makna terlalu dalam pada banyak hal, tapi tahun ini tuh rasanya kaya damai aja jadi pemerhati yang tidak banyak pakai hati.
Bener kata di story itu bahwa luka batin sangat membentuk aku. Dulu pas lagi luka-lukanya doa aku cuma satu, "jangan sampai dari luka ini tidak tumbuh apa-apa." Lalu beberapa tahun dari luka itu, aku mendapatkan keseimbanganku kembali atas izin Allah. Bener kata Judith Chung, "Luka mengubah manusia, entah menjadi lebih buruk atau menjadi lebih diam. Karena menyadari bahwa manusia yang bersikap buruk kepadanya adalah manusia yang mungkin tengah terluka."
Orang-orang mungkin melihat aku adalah orang yang "love yourself" tapi aku justru setuju kata Mas Wisnu Suryaning Adjie. Aku nggak repot-repot musingin about love myself dan nggak masalah kalau jadinya nggak romantis ke diri sendiri kaya di novel-novel atau kisah inspiratif. Alih-alih self love, justru aku lebih percaya self-contentment (pemenuhan kebutuhan/keinginan utk mencapai suatu taraf kepuasan tertentu dengan takaran yang cukup).
Ini sebabnya kata beliau, kemampuan membedakan kebutuhan dan keinginan jadi penting banget. Di tulisanku sebelumnya, tahun ini bagiku adalah tahun yang minim akan keinginan. Definisi hidup cuma memenuhi kebutuhan aja, nggak muluk-muluk. Aku juga nggak mau ngejudge hal ini buruk atau baik buat aku, aku hanya memandang ini sebagai proses, sebuah keniscayaan. Ini mungkin nggak akan relatable ke orang-orang yang hidupnya terstruktur penuh rencana. Tapi buatku, ini seni menjalani hidup. Semoga seseorang yang nanti bersamaku mau memahami caraku yang terlalu let it flow ini dan bersama-sama menjadikan cara hidup satu sama lain sebagai penyeimbang.
Luckily, setelah wisuda aku mulai terhubung dengan beberapa teman yang lama sekali tidak berkabar. Lalu bersama-sama menyadari bahwa kita punya keresahan yang sama soal sesuatu.
Banyak yang aku pelajari dari luka lama. Keyakinan bahwa aku harus jadi yang paling melindungi diriku sendiri dari luka apapun pada akhirnya membuatku membagi porsi-porsi kepada orang-orang yang nantinya akan aku tempatkan di hati.
Semuanya harus secukupnya.

his full name is joseph izaiah hart.
joe's father is a bible salesman and supports a very large family on his sales skills. joseph is the oldest of seven children. his other siblings are paul (19), edith (17), judith (17), mark (14), solomon (10), benjamin (5). joseph was often in charge of caring for his siblings, which he did with great care and attention.
joe is studying theology and actually hopes to become a reverend at some point. he was raised in an evangelical household, but as he has been exploring the world and himself, it is actually the episcopal church that is attractive to him.
his minor is social work, which is what interests him and is what he would do if he weren't able to find a congregation to lead.
he is bisexual but is struggling quite a bit with that in combination with his faith.
he is very scared of losing his family, and he is actually quite sure he'd be alone in the world, save for maybe two of his siblings, if he ever came out. it is very clear in his family that homosexuality isn't accepted.
he often volunteers at the local episcopal church events as well as other charity work (animal shelter, homeless charity) and will invite anyone and everyone.
his guitar is named elijah.
he has always loved to sing but his family's quite closed-off nature has made it impossible for him to ever join any type of extracurricular activity before. he has been in writing class ever since he started, just to do something but this year he has decided to try his hand at singing and so, he chose to audition for the new directions. the diverse group attracted him, and he hoped to find a place there that would help him accept himself for who he is.

Musical streams are back! We’ve taken 5 weeks off, but now we’re back! Last time we streamed for 39 weeks in on Kosmi, this time I’m streaming them directly in my europeanmusicals Discord server. This change in streaming platform is because Kosmi didn’t accept a lot of video types and so I couldn’t stream certain musicals, but I will be able to stream those musicals through Discord.
Streams take place on Saturdays at 9pm UK time (BST/GMT depending on daylight savings). Some may be postponed by a week if I’m away. Not all have English subtitles so check below. More musicals may be added. Any updates will be posted on Discord. We are watching musicals that we did not watch in the first 30 weeks.
