Charlie's Angels rewatch - The Seance (Ep. 11, S. 1)

Story

The Angels investigate a case where valuables are vanishing from a rich old lady's house. No strange fingerprints on the safe.

Sabrina finds accompanying the old lady a rather exhausting job. Kelly and Jill go undercover as a rich heiress and her secretary looking into the medium that the lady consults.

Unfortunately the medium's secretary is into hypnotism...

I think the Beemish backstory conflicts with the orphanage backstory we got in Target Angels. Or maybe she later changed orphanages?

Did Sabrina move out of her apartment? And what's with her interior decoration?

Bosley as a chauffeur is a lot of fun.

Don't think hypnosis works that way. Neither does trauma.

Still the car scene with Jill and Kelly was chilling, Jaclyn Smith really sells it.

And Kelly's performance at the end was stellar.

Redfield, Valentine, and the Munroe Sisters

The story behind this Resident Evil/Charlie's Angels crossover art is an interesting one. Origin of this artwork underneath.

For the past year, I'd been getting well-versed into the video game franchise Resident Evil, and after completing one of the games in late December, I searched PlutoTV on a whim to look for something to watch.

Back then, Charlie's Angels had its own channel and I decided to check it out; I enjoyed the franchise (I'd seen the 2019 movie - one of my top 3 films of the year, the 2011 TV show, and Full Throttle), but the most I'd seen of the original TV show was the pilot movie in mid-2020. (It was great!) The episode just starting when I selected the channel was season 3's "Mother Angel". Unfortunately, I didn't pay attention to it because I was too busy alerting my Resident Evil Discord servers that there are two characters in the episode who are related called Jill and Kris. Who'd ever think something like Charlie's Angels would have two characters with the same names as Resident Evil's police duo Jill Valentine and Chris Redfield? (They found it hilarious, by the way.)

So, to celebrate both sides, here are Jill and Chris/Kris swapping outfits. For RE's Jill and Chris, they're wearing the outfits seen in the "Mother Angel" episode, and I gave the Munroe sisters Chris and Jill's SWAT STARS uniform from the first game. The art style is CG Boost's Cubic Worlds and was made in Blender.

Some Scream/Until Dawn crack no one asked for.

Kirby Reed and Samantha Giddings are each others multiversal counterpart/equivalent. Due to some No Way Home shenanigans, their places get swapped.

With Sam caught up in Scream 4's events - having the most plot armor second the Mike, and Action Girl cred second only to Emily - she catches the knife in Charlie's hands and leaves him trapped. When Jill tries her luck, it just escalates to a slug match. And with Sam's plot armor, when Jill is hospitalized, the injuries are not self inflicted.

On Kirby's side, she's genre savvy enough to pick up on Josh's revenge "prank" early on and pretty much dismantles before it gets rolling. When she finds out what they're really up against on Mount Washington, she goes out and catches a least weasel as a "Plan B".

I'd have Kirby as an FBI agent as per Scream VI, and just lead an investigation that eventually gets Blackwood Pines declared "No Man's Land"...but then I remembered Until Dawn is set in Alberta. The FBI wouldn't have any kind of pull.
