Brook had a team of music loving Pokemon. They all died together. When Brook's soul returned to his body, he found a group of ghost Pokemon on the ship. Their devotion to Brook and faith in his return granted them second life as ghost types. Even after 50 years together, ghosts still spook him. He made a promise to return to a baby Wailmer, which is now a ginormous Wailord.
This is just my opinion and for fun!!!
Kricketune is Brook's oldest companion. He takes great pride in his moustache. He became a Jellicent after death. He can no longer make music with his arms, now he conducts.
Chatot is a tea enthusiast so he wasn't displeased when he became a Polteageist. Though he greatly misses his mimicry ability, he finds a new joy in hiding in Brook's tea.
Maractus loves to dance and make music with her body. Now a Gourgeist, her body produces eerie wailing when she dances instead of joyful maracas.
Altaria loves perching on Brook's afro. She still does as a Drifblim but her ever floating body tends to carry his light body away. Her hums were once beautiful, now they sound like a whisper carried by the wind.
Primarina was the pearl of the Rumbar pirates. Her songs would match the atmosphere perfectly. As a Froslass, her once heavenly voice is haunting and blood-chilling.
Jigglypuff is a shy singer who can only sing when everyone is asleep. His once gentle voice that gave sweet dreams now causes nightmares as a Gastly.

So I have this idea swimming around in my head for either a oneshot or a short story about Present Mic (Hizashi Yamada) coming across a child reader who’s quirk is ‘death song’. Basically the child loves music and keeps trying to sing unaware of the effect they’re having on the people who are near them. The sound frequency that the child admits when they sing vibrates the skull or some other important part of people’s heads that causes them to shatter like glass.
The biggest issue is that their singing also draws people closer kinda like a siren’s song. (The kid is gonna be like a Jigglypuff, they sing but don’t understand the effect they have on people but still wants to find an audience). Basically the police and pro heroes are thinking it’s a villain doing this and are trying to find the culprit. Present Mic ends up hearing the singing and uses his own quirk to cancel out the vibrations. After tracking the movement of the suspected perp, Hizashi comes across the kid crying.
Thinking the kid got hurt by the perp’s quirk he asks them if they’re hurt only for them to tell him that no one ever listens to their singing. People always end up ‘falling asleep’ before they’re finished and they’re really sad. Upon talking more with the child, Mic realizes that the kid is the one who’s causing all this and decides to take the kid in and teach them how to control their quirk after learning that they accidentally killed their parents because they couldn’t control their quirk/didn’t realize that they were using it.
After some time, the two of them become like father and child and they spend lots of time together. But due to the kid’s quirk being unstable they have to wear quirk canceling gear as they grow. So because the kid can’t sing without potentially hurting someone Hizashi decides to teach the kid to DJ.
Should I turn this thought into something or leave it as is?

Paradox PokeDex Redux: The Scarlet Book
So, since the Scarlet and Violet PokeDex entries for the Paradox Pokemon are a bit…underwhelming from what I’ve seen, I’ve decided to go ahead and make a bunch of fake PokeDex entries for each of the Paradox Pokemon that give them a bit more value than just “hey this is a Pokemon from the past, and also it’s been mentioned in an occult magazine, crazy!”
We’re starting off with the Scarlet-exclusive Paradox Pokemon, since those are the ones that interest me, and are from the game I actually got. You’re welcome.
Violet Book entries found here
Great Tusk
“An ancient ancestor of Donphan, this Pokémon rushes headlong at opponents with its full weight. It is believed this method of combat eventually evolved into Donphan’s signature ability to curl up and roll into its foes.”
“This ancient ancestor of Donphan lacks the capability to curl its body into a ball—rather, it relies on its superior hide and unwieldy tusks to combat would-be predators.”
Brute Bonnet
“An expert ambush hunter, this ancient ancestor of Amoongus can effortlessly blend in with the forest foliage of its home. Once hidden, it lures in unwitting prey with the its swaying arms.”
“Lacking the toxic spores of its descendant Amoongus, this Pokémon appears to have been far more aggressive and actively hunted prey by ambushing them from the shadows.”
Sandy Shocks
“Ferromagnetic dust clings to its body, grounding it and giving it an aggressive demeanor. It does not appear to have the control of its magnetic properties that its descendant Magneton possesses.”
“Scientists theorize that the incorporation of the metal dust that clings to this Pokémon’s form is what gave its descendant Magneton its hardy nature and ability to freely float.”
Scream Tail
“Rather than lulling would-be opponents to sleep with a song, this ancient ancestor of Jigglypuff instead wards off predators with a deafening scream that can cause permanent hearing loss to anything within fifty feet.”
“Scientists believe that when intimidation wasn’t enough, this Pokémon began attempting to lull its opponents to sleep—the descendants that did so became Jigglypuff.”
Flutter Mane
“The flapping of its flowing locks mimics the sounds of a giant flying Pokémon, striking fear into the hearts of its victims. Like its distant descendant Misdreavus, it seems to do so for its own amusement.”
“A vindictive Pokémon, it appears that it lost its flowing mane and instead began to wail in the night to better terrorize humans as its descendant Misdreavus.”
Slither Wing
“An ancient ancestor of Volcorona, this Pokémon appears to have used its wings as a sail to absorb energy from the sun, regulating its body temperature and giving it the strength to challenge even the fiercest of foes.”
“Its wings are designed to soak in sunlight to store as energy. Scientists believe this stored energy was eventually repurposed by its descendant Volcorona to be its own sun.”
Roaring Moon
“The ancient ancestor of Salamence, this Pokémon was a truly ferocious creature in ancient times. Modern Salamence can only ever brush against its ferocity through a strange phenomenon from another region.”
“Due to its feathered features, agile body, and ferocious reputation, some speculate this ancestor of Salamence was the inspiration behind Flutter Mane’s mannerisms.”
Koraidon
“An ancient ancestor of Cyclizar, this Pokémon has been referred to as the Winged King. This is in reference to its feathered plumage, a mark of pride and power—the larger the plumage, the stronger the Koraidon.”
“It has been hypothesized that as humans succeeded in taming Pokemon, the more aggressive features of Koraidon were bred out, until the domesticated Cyclizar was born.”

Random First Class Trio + Zack Headcanons #3: Crack Version
Angeal:
His favorite workout song is "YMCA" by Village People.
He's definitely knocked out Wutai soldiers like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Somebody once mistook him as Zack's father due to similarities in their features. He didn't even try to correct them.
His sneeze is louder than the Krakatoa explosion.
Rickrolled everyone by singing "Never Gonna Give You Up" by Rick Astley at a company gala while he was drunk. (Sephiroth and Genesis didn't speak to him for a month. 💀💀)
Makes terrible dad jokes that even Zack cannot stomach. (He's definitely done that "Hi, hungry! I'm dad!" shit with Zack. 😂😂)
Genesis:
He is a big Fergie fan and knows her songs by heart. He can also rap that part in "Fergalicious."
He did an iconic dance number to "Umbrella" with Andrea Rhodea at the Honeybee Inn like this:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He also likes Lady Gaga and blasts "Bad Romance" every time he and Sephiroth spar with each other.
He hates horror movies. He's the loudest out of the trio when watching them (he's either screaming at the characters or at the monsters/ghosts).
Aside from LOVELESS, he also quotes "Mean Girls" on the regular. (Guess who he quotes the most... 😉😉)
Totally has a blog for Shinra blinds just because (basically who's dating or fucking who, juicy stuff on important Shinra officials and staff, etc.). He once published a blind on Rufus defacing one of President Shinra's statues with a drawing of a dick. No matter how many times Shinra has gotten it shut down, Genesis somehow manages to keep on reviving it. Recently, Kunsel and some members of Red Leather have joined his team.
Sephiroth:
Can't stand spicy food. He avoids it as much as he can. Eating spicy foods will cause his eyes to water and his nose to redden like this:
Tumblr media
(Genesis managed to snap an unfortunate photo of him dying from the spiciness of the curry and sent it to the Silver Elite fanclub with the caption, "IS THIS YOUR KING???" 🤭🤭)
Somehow, he has the most wins in UNO and Monopoly.
Catwoman is his favorite DC character; Black Cat is his favorite Marvel character. (Gee, I wonder why... 🤔🤔)
Whenever he goes outside, a horde of cats just mysteriously flock to him. Genesis and Angeal find it both amusing and creepy. (My aunt is actually like this. Wherever she goes, cats mysteriously gather around her, it's so freaky! 😭😭😭)
He can actually do the lazy eye trick, and loves to freak Genesis out with it.
He once dressed as Sadako/Samara Morgan from "The Ring" for the Halloween costume contest... and WON.
Zack:
Has sung "Jenny" by The Click Five using a shortened version of Genesis's name to annoy him. ("I'm standing still, Genny!" "Be quiet, you overgrown mutt!" "You got me on my knees, Genny!")
(This ends up with Genesis summoning Ifrit on Zack's ass 😂😂)
He and Kunsel quote Vines all the time, usually around any of the First Class Trio or Lazard just so they could revel in their confused faces.
Zack and Kunsel: *to Angeal* You are my daaaaad! You're my dad! Boogie woogie woogie!!!
Angeal:
Tumblr media
Once, after getting drunk during the SOLDIER game night, he and the lower-class SOLDIERs thought it was a good idea to go sledding down the building stairs, so they brought mattresses from their dorms to use as makeshift sleds. Needless to say, the infirmary reached full capacity that night.
On April Fools' Day, he somehow managed to hijack Shinra's PA system and started playing "Careless Whisper" on full blast.
He's a massive Pokémon fanboy and knows the Pokémon Theme Song by heart. In fact, he has his contacts named after Pokémon: Angeal is Machamp, Sephiroth is Mewtwo, Genesis is Charizard, Tseng is Umbreon, Aerith is Jigglypuff, Cloud is Pikachu, etc.
Threw an apple at Hojo and left a shitload of Legos all over his lab for subjecting Sephiroth to a particularly painful physical test.

A/N. Oneshot inspired by me and this guy. From the jigglypuff plush to the lego bouquet, this whole story is inspired by what happened to me except for the ending. He was the only guy I've ever experience pure love with, too bad I was fucked in the head. He's still one of my friends to this day I guess but not so much. Hope you enjoy.

In the heart of a vibrant summer, Y/N and Iwaizumi were inseparable friends, finding comfort and laughter in each other's company. Their bond was unique, deeper than mere friendship, and though they hadn't vocalised their feelings, it was evident to those around them that they shared something special.
One scorching day, they visited the bustling amusement park. The air was filled with the scent of cotton candy and popcorn, and the sounds of laughter and exhilarating rides echoed through the air. Y/N's eyes sparkled with excitement as they roamed the park together, trying every ride, indulging in treats, and making unforgettable memories.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, Iwaizumi surprised Y/N with a cute Jigglypuff plushie from one of the game stalls. "For you," he said with a bashful smile. "So you always remember this day."
Y/N hugged the plushie tight and thanked him, a blush creeping up her cheeks. It was a moment of silent acknowledgment of their feelings, a connection that words didn't need to express.
As summer days turned to warm autumn hues, the bond between Y/N and Iwaizumi only grew stronger. They shared laughter and tears, supporting each other through thick and thin.
The autumn leaves fell down on Y/N and Iwaizumi as they sat under the shade of a large tree in the park, enjoying the view of the colourful leaves around them.
"Can you believe it's only 2 months until Christmas?" Iwaizumi remarked with a playful grin.
Y/N laughed, shaking her head. "It's still so far away, but I can't wait! I love everything about Christmas—the decorations, the music, and especially the presents!"
"I knew you'd say that," Iwaizumi teased, nudging her playfully. "So, what do you want for Christmas this year?"
She thought for a moment, a mischievous glint in her eyes. "Hmm, I think I want a Lego bouquet. Wouldn't that be cool?!"
Iwaizumi chuckled, charmed by her idea. "That's unique, Y/N. I'll see what I can do."
“You're lying Iwa,” She giggles, “You're not even going to remember.”
September turned into November and then December approached. The days grew shorter as the holiday season approached. Y/N and Iwaizumi continued to share their excitement for Christmas, but she had completely forgotten about her playful wish for a Lego bouquet.
On Christmas morning, they exchanged gifts in Iwaizumi's cozy living room, surrounded by twinkling lights and the warmth of the season. Y/N eagerly tore open her presents, unwrapping each one with delight.
As she reached the last gift, her eyes widened in surprise. It was a beautifully wrapped box with a tag that read, "To Y/N, from Iwaizumi."
Curiosity piqued, she carefully removed the wrapping paper, revealing a Lego bouquet—the one she had playfully mentioned months ago in the heat of autumn.
Y/N gasped, tears welling up in her eyes. "Iwaizumi, you remembered!"
He smiled, a blush spreading across his cheeks. "Of course, I did. I wanted to give you something special, something that reminded me of the bond we share."
Carefully holding the Lego box in her hands, Y/N felt a rush of emotions. It wasn't just about the gift itself; it was the fact that Iwaizumi had listened, remembered, and put so much thought into it. It was a testament to the depth of their friendship and the love he held for her.
With a heartfelt smile, she looked up at Iwaizumi. "Thank you. This is the best Christmas gift I could have asked for."
He leaned in to give her a gentle hug, the warmth of their friendship enveloping them. "Merry Christmas, Y/N."
"Merry Christmas, Iwaizumi," she replied, cherishing the Lego bouquet in her hands and the memory of an autumn day when she had casually mentioned her wish.
Y/N and Iwaizumi's friendship was a beacon of pure, unwavering love. From the moment they had met, they had shared an instant connection that went beyond words. They were kindred spirits, two souls that seemed destined to find each other in the vastness of the world.
As they grew older, the bond between them only strengthened. They were each other's confidants, sharing their dreams, fears, and hopes without judgement. Their love was pure and unconditional, free from any romantic expectations. Yet, it was unmistakable that they were both so in love with each other, even if they never uttered those words aloud.
Iwaizumi would go to great lengths to see Y/N smile. He knew her favourite ice cream flavour, the songs that made her dance, and the movies that made her laugh until her stomach hurt. He knew when she was lying, when she was nervous or when she was scared. He would surprise her with small gestures of kindness, like leaving a heartfelt note on her desk or baking her favourite cookies when she was feeling down.
Y/N, too, would do anything for Iwaizumi. She was his fiercest advocate, his number one supporter, and his sounding board for any challenge he faced. She knew his dreams and aspirations, and she would encourage him to chase them relentlessly.
The love between them was like an unspoken melody, ever-present in their hearts, but never explicitly acknowledged. But despite their unspoken feelings, they found comfort in the knowledge that their connection was strong enough to withstand anything.
Iwaizumi's willingness to do anything for Y/N knew no bounds. He would drop everything to be by her side during her darkest moments, holding her hand and whispering words of encouragement until the storm passed. He cherished her laughter, her smile, and the way her eyes sparkled with joy. He would defend her fiercely from anyone who sought to harm her, and he would lend her his strength when she felt weak.
Y/N, too, was always there for Iwaizumi. She celebrated his victories and comforted him during his defeats. She understood the weight he carried on his shoulders, and she offered him a safe haven where he could be vulnerable and free from judgement. Their love was like a lighthouse in the stormy sea of life, guiding each other safely to shore.
In their hearts, they knew that their friendship was something extraordinary, something that came once in a lifetime. And while they may have yearned for something more, they were content to savour the sweetness of their pure love and the magic of their unbreakable bond.
And so, they continued to walk through life hand in hand, knowing that no matter where their paths led, their love would endure. Their friendship was a testament to the power of love in its purest form—the love that needed no labels or definitions, the love that simply was.
One evening, they sat on the swings at their favourite park, the air turning chillier with each passing day. Y/N absentmindedly swung back and forth, her thoughts burdened by her struggles.
Iwaizumi noticed the change in her demeanour. "You've been distant lately, Y/N. Is everything alright?"
She hesitated before answering, her voice slightly shaky. "Iwaizumi, I... I've been going through a tough time. My mental health hasn't been great, and I've been having these dark thoughts."
Concern etched across Iwaizumi's face as he gently grasped her hands. "Y/N, I'm here for you. You don't have to face this alone. Let me help."
Tears welled up in her eyes as she looked into his caring gaze. "I’m so tired of feeling sad all the time. I don't want to hurt you, Iwaizumi. I care about you deeply, and I don't want to drag you into my problems."
He wiped away a tear with his thumb, his voice soft but determined. "Y/N, you don't have to worry about that. I care about you too, and I want to be here for you, no matter what. We'll face this together."
"But I don't want you to," Y/N said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I don't know how long it'll take for me to get better, and I can't bear the thought of holding you back."
Iwaizumi gently cupped her face, making her meet his gaze. "Y/N, you're not holding me back. We'll take this one step at a time, and I'll be patient. Just promise me you won't shut me out. Let me be the support you need."
Y/N's heart ached at his unwavering love and support. She leaned into his touch, feeling the warmth of his hands against her skin. "I promise," she whispered, tears cascading down her cheeks.
In the following weeks, Iwaizumi stood by Y/N's side, offering a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, and a heart full of compassion. The weight of her struggles was still present, but knowing she had Iwaizumi by her side made it bearable. Their friendship blossomed into something deeper, and Y/N found herself falling for him even more.
One evening, as they strolled through the winter wonderland of twinkling lights and festive decorations, Y/N mustered the courage to express her feelings. "Iwaizumi, I... I love you," she said, her breath visible in the cold air.
He stopped in his tracks, his eyes widening in surprise. Then, a tender smile graced his lips. "I love you too, Y/N. And I meant what I said before. We'll take this journey together, no matter how long it takes."
For a moment, hope flickered in Y/N's heart, but the weight of her mental struggles still lingered. She couldn't help but wonder if she was being selfish, wanting Iwaizumi to wait for her. The fear of being a burden weighed heavily on her mind.
As the days passed, Y/N found herself withdrawing into her own thoughts, contemplating what would be best for Iwaizumi and her own happiness. The joy of the season and the love she felt for him were overshadowed by her doubts and insecurities.
Finally, on the eve of her departure abroad, she mustered the courage to meet Iwaizumi one last time. Snowflakes danced around them, softening the edges of the world as they stood together in the park.
"Y/N," Iwaizumi said, concern evident in his voice. "Why are you leaving? Is it because of us?"
Tears glistened in her eyes as she shook her head. "No, Iwaizumi. I'm leaving because I don't want to hold you back. I want you to be happy, and I can't bear to see you wait for someone who might never be completely whole."
He reached out to touch her cheek, his eyes full of sorrow. "Y/N, you are worth waiting for. You're worth everything to me. I don't want a life without you in it."
"I'm sorry," she whispered, her voice breaking. "But I can't do this to you. I love you too much to see you unhappy."
With a heavy heart, Y/N turned and walked away, leaving Iwaizumi standing there, heartbroken and confused.
Years passed, and Y/N returned home, her heart heavy with regret and longing. She couldn't help but wonder what could have been if she had stayed and allowed herself to be loved by Iwaizumi.
The winter wind howled as Y/N stood alone on an ice-covered bench in the park, her breath visible in the frosty air. She had returned home after spending years abroad, hoping to find some closure and perhaps a glimpse of the life she had left behind. The memories flooded her mind as she looked around, and a hint of sadness lingered in her eyes.
Suddenly, the sound of footsteps approached, and her heart skipped a beat. She turned, and there he was—her old friend, Iwaizumi. His once unruly hair was now neatly trimmed, and he had grown into a man with an aura of quiet strength. Time had been kind to him, but it also served as a reminder of the years they had spent apart.
Their eyes met, and for a moment, neither of them spoke. There were so many things they wanted to say, but the weight of unspoken emotions kept them silent.
"Y/N," Iwaizumi finally broke the silence, his voice tinged with a mix of surprise and warmth. "Is it really you?"
She managed a small smile, the emotions threatening to spill over. "Yes, Iwaizumi. It's me."
He stepped closer, uncertainty flickering in his eyes. "Why did you leave, Y/N. We were best friends, and then one day, you were just gone."
Y/N looked down at her hands, the guilt resurfacing. "I thought it was for the best, Iwaizumi. I didn't want to hurt you, and I thought it was the right thing to do."
He gently lifted her chin, making her meet his gaze. "You didn't have to leave like that. We could have faced everything together, just like we promised."
"I know," she whispered, a tear escaping her eye. "But I was scared, Iwaizumi. I didn't want to hold you back. My mental health was in shambles, and I felt like I couldn't be the person you deserved."
His expression softened, understanding shining in his eyes. "You never had to be perfect for me, Y/N. I loved you.”
The past tense echoed in her mind, hitting her like a wave of melancholy. The love she had always sensed, the connection that had bound them together, had been real, but now it felt like a distant memory, a love that had slipped through her fingers.
Her heart ached as she searched his eyes for any glimmer of hope, hoping against hope that she had misheard him or misunderstood his words. But the truth lay bare in his gaze—he had loved her, and perhaps he still did, but the timing had never aligned for them.
Iwaizumi's hold on Y/N tightened for a moment before he gently released her. He looked into her eyes, his expression a mix of coldness and sadness.
Iwaizumi took a deep breath, his heart heavy with the weight of unspoken words. "Y/N, I'm married now," he stated simply, trying to keep his emotions in check.
Her eyes filled with sadness, and she nodded, accepting the reality of the situation. "I see. Congratulations," she managed to say, a forced smile on her lips.
The silence between them was deafening, and Y/N struggled to find the right words. She wanted to tell him how much she regretted leaving, how she longed to be with him, but the guilt of her past actions held her back.
"Iwaizumi, I'm sorry for everything," Y/N finally whispered, her voice barely audible over the gentle falling snow.
He looked at her, the hurt evident in his eyes. "You left after everything, Y/N. Do you have any idea how much that hurt me?"
Tears welled up in her eyes, and she tried to find the right way to explain. "I was going through a dark time, and I didn't want to drag you into my struggles. I thought leaving was the best way to protect you."
"I loved you, Y/N," Iwaizumi's voice wavered. "I loved you, and you just left without a word. It felt like you didn't care at all."
"I did care," she choked out, the pain of her actions finally hitting her. "I cared so much, and that's why I left. I thought I was doing what was best for you."
Iwaizumi's jaw tightened, trying to hold back his feelings. He took a step back, needing to distance himself from the woman who still held a special place in his heart. "I hope you find happiness, Y/N. Just like I did."
Y/N's heart broke at the finality of his words, knowing that she had hurt him deeply. She wanted to reach out to him, to hold him close, but she knew it wouldn't change the past.
"Iwaizumi, I'm sorry," she repeated, her voice trembling. "I hope you have a wonderful life."
Without another word, Iwaizumi turned and walked away, leaving Y/N standing alone. She watched him disappear into the distance, her heart heavy with regret.
Y/N felt her heart shatter into a million pieces. It was as if time had slowed, and every step he took away from her felt like an eternity. She wanted to call out to him, to beg him to stay, to tell him that she still loves him, but the words caught in her throat. Fear and doubt held her captive, and the overwhelming pain of losing the one real thing she ever knew paralyzed her.
She clutched her heart, hoping to somehow keep it from breaking completely, but there was no relief from the ache inside. The realisation that she had let him go, that she had lost him, was like a knife twisting in her chest.
The world around her blurred as tears filled her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. And so, she watched him fade into the distance, a part of her soul leaving with him. It was a pain she had never known before, a void that nothing else could fill. The realisation that she had lost the one real thing she ever knew was like a dark cloud looming over her, suffocating her with regret and longing.
She knew that from that moment on, life would never be the same. She had let the love of her life slip away, and she could only hope that she would find happiness, even if it meant it wouldn't be with him.
As the first snowflakes settled on the ground, Y/N felt a mix of emotions overwhelm her. The last glimpse of him disappeared from sight, she finally allowed the tears to fall, a torrent of emotions pouring out of her. She had found him, but their reunion had only brought pain and longing. The snowfall intensified, creating a soft, white blanket over the park bench where they had once sat together in happier times.
Y/N whispered to the winter breeze, knowing he couldn't hear her, "I'm sorry for hurting you, Iwaizumi. I'll always cherish the memories we shared, even if they were fleeting."
With a heavy heart, she turned away, her steps faltering as she left the park behind. The weight of their unspoken love bore down on her, and with each step she took, it felt as though she was leaving a part of herself behind.
The first snow of winter continued to fall, its delicate flakes creating a serene and ethereal atmosphere around her. As she walked, each snowflake seemed to mirror the tears that silently escaped her eyes.
She couldn't help but look back one last time, hoping for a fleeting glimpse of Iwaizumi, but he was nowhere to be seen. Her heart ached at the thought of him walking away, just like she did all those years ago.
In that moment, she realised that the love they had shared would remain a silent melody in their hearts. A love that would never be openly acknowledged, but one that would forever be etched in the deepest corners of their souls.
With a final tearful glance at the park bench where they had once laughed and dreamed together, she turned her gaze forward and continued on her path. The first snow of winter gently blanketed the world around her, leaving her with a bittersweet sense of closure.
As she walked away from the park, she knew that she would always carry a piece of Iwaizumi with her. He had been her anchor, her source of strength, and her first love. And even though their paths had diverged, the memories they shared would forever hold a special place in her heart.

~🪻Lavender Anon
you sure can!!

Perhaps you're the music teacher at the academy, a choir director, a band director, or perhaps you're just a dear friend of Clavell that he holds dear. Whatever your origin, he has a deep fondness for your voice. Whenever you sing, he listens with the focus of someone attending an opera, applause and "bravo, encore!" included.
If you don't work for the academy, he does his best to get you to visit and help the more musically inclined students. Teach them some strategies to grow in their field how you have. It's also his way of subtly bragging about you. He's (very professionally) hyped you up to all of his colleagues and students, and when they finally see how amazing you are, he's thrilled.
Clavell has some musical abilities of his own. He plays guitar, and will happily play a song for you to sing too. Though he doesn't always play the best, since he's so distracted by his admiration of you. Look him in the eyes while you sing something particularly romantic, and watch him fumble the strings. It hurts your ears, but it's cute to watch
Should you ever serenade Clavell, he's a mess. He can hardly sit still, caught between looking away to hide his blush, and marveling up at you. He's very touched that you would put together and practice a song just for him, especially if you're the kind to write your own songs. He peppers you in kisses afterwards, and has the dreamiest smile on his face the rest of the day.
He does look into singing or music-related Pokémon for you, should you not already have one. A Chatot maybe, or a Jigglypuff? He inquires about your preferences, and tries to see what he can do. He even requests the aid of some of his students too, and with their help scours the academy's resources to find the best match for you. After that, he catches you the finest Pokémon he can find, and presents it to you with a bashful smile. He just wants you happy.

i hope you like!!

after COUNTLESS minutes of research i have devised the perfect pokemon team for shoplifting
first, jigglypuff.
Tumblr media
an obvious pick for any criminal. busy store? boom, after one song all the security and any witnesses are knocked out. why don't any of the criminal teams use jigglypuffs?!?! second, gengar.
Tumblr media
consider this.
Tumblr media
gengar can "appear almost anywhere" GENGAR CAN TRAVEL THROUGH DIMENSIONS gengar can go to the back room and steal shit that hasn't even been STOCKED ON THE SHELVES YET i could send gengar in and it could LITERALLY appear ANYWHERE IN THE SHOP. it's like a teleporting chaos gremlin. this is only true if gengar has a corporeal form however, which i have found IS TRUE
Tumblr media
gengar has SEVERAL physical moves like sucker punch and lick, which would mean it HAS to have a physical form and can indeed shoplift shit. OH AND GUESS WHAT TM GENGAR CAN LEARN
Tumblr media
YEAH. PERFECT SHOPLIFTING BUDDY this isn't even considering the potential for fast-travel. if gengar can pick up stuff and bring it with them through their multidimensional travel, they are ALSO the PERFECT getaway driver. police running at me? GRAB ME GENGAR AND TELEPORT ME TO THE WOODS. the last two are two that i think would synergize very well. while gengar is my main shoplifter/getaway driver and jigglypuff is my distraction, greninja and meowscarada are respectively my demolitions expert and my backup
Tumblr media Tumblr media
greninja is, first of all, a literal ninja. stealth is NO issue. second:
Tumblr media
THEY CAN MAKE WATER SPLIT METAL. LET ME REPEAT. THEY CAN MAKE WATER. SPLIT METAL. iphone chained down? no problem!! greninja fucks that shit up. lockdown happens and walls come down? my PRESSURE WASHER FROG CAN FUCK THOSE METAL DOORS UP meowscarada is also a master of stealth, having reflective fur. AND GUESS WHAT
Tumblr media
IT CAN MAKE FLOWER-SMOKE BOMBS. WHAT BETTER COMBINATION IS THERE THAN A SMOKE-BOMB THROWER AND A FUCKING NINJA???? in conclusion, if i was ever in the pokemon world every tesco, walmart and hungry jacks around the world would fear me. i would be the shadow of corporations. i would be UNTOUCHABLE and i would eat shoplifted marshmallows with my happy poke-gang in the woods every night

Hi! I've been reading your fics about Arven and you just make me fall in love with him harder than I am in. You write so beautifuly I really envy you! Very good job, this is my first request, and I hope I don't bother you with it. I love music, and I like to sing a lot, I imagine my MC who also loves singing and music with a beautiful voice, I would like to request a fic with a reader (can be gender neutral) singing to comfort Arven because he is sad, with Masbostiff joining them. (Both have a established relationship and around 20-22 years old)
Thank you!
Hello! You've come to the right place for this one lolol my masters degree is in voice performance and i've literally sung opera in different continents for the last several years.

Growing up in an empty house as he did, Arven never really listened to music. Sure, he's heard some of the top 40s hits that play over the radio in shops and stores over the years, and he's heard songs that students used to play in the halls when he went to the academy. Thing is, he wasn't exposed to music as a kid, so he didn't really ever seek it out as he gained autonomy.
When he started traveling with you after graduation, it was the first time you both had started spending significant amounts of time together. Sure you'd been casually dating, but you were both busy with your respective pursuits. Your time together was usually spent eating, holding hands, maybe watching a movie, cuddling, and doing other typical, couple-y things. You didn't have time to just exist with one another, which is part of what made now so special.
Because of that, Arven is a little gobsmacked to hear you one evening as you sit with your recently caught tinkatink, singing softly as you brush through her hair.
It's nothing special or over the top, you're just singing something gentle and calming, trying to lull your new pokemon into a comfortable state as you build your relationship with her, but Arven is utterly enamored. Truth be told, he feels almost voyeuristic listening in on the two of you, but he can't bring himself to move away.
When you're done with tinkatink, you move onto your scream tail who receives a similar treatment of a brushing with its bath, but this time the tune is more jovial, and Arven swears he thinks the scream tail is trying to sing along with you, though its voice isn't nearly as relaxing or sweet as a modern day jigglypuff's (or yours, he thinks).
Arven doesn't say anything that night because, truth be told, he isn't quite sure what he can, could, or should say. Do people usually sing like that? Is that a normal thing? Is complimenting you on your singing a normal thing to do, even?
As it turns out, you sing to your pokemon fairly frequently. Skeledirge often joins in with you in low, brassy tones, adding a bizarrely haunting quality to whatever it is you sing. Sometimes, 'Raidon curls up behind you, making you a nice little throne from which you sit as you sing to your pokemon during their mini grooming sessions between baths.
Arven never really joins in, but he silently loves the concerts. He starts to learn some of the tunes and words; he finds himself humming along to you sometimes. When he's alone, he even whistles one once. He didn't even realize he could do that! Sure, it was probably discordant and the wrong key (whatever that means...) but he whistled!
The two of you are walking through Socarrat Trail one day when the urge to sing strikes you, so you just...let'er rip. It's a folksy tune, perfect for crispy cool days on mountain trails, and your voice echos among the stones in an entertaining way.
You're not screaming or anything, but you're singing loudly enough for the wild pokemon to take notice. They turn, and the sudowoodo have the sense to high tail it immediately, as they would anyway. A few toedscool also seem to sense danger in the noise and decide to run away on floppy looking legs. For the most part, the other pokemon seem not to care much. Once they see that the source of the noise isn't trying to make a run at them, they go back to ignoring you.
Arven though? Arven has stopped in his tracks, eyeing you like you've just set off a bomb in the woods.
"What are you doing?!" He hisses.
"Singing?" You reply with a laugh. "I don't see a problem with it. It's not like we're bothering anyone. No other people are around, and the pokemon would've been disturbed by us, regardless."
"Y-Yeah, but... It feels wrong..."
You flush a bit, feeling embarrassed suddenly. "Oh... Sorry. I'll, uh. Stop, then." You imagine Arven wouldn't shush you like that unless the singing was bad, right? Oof, that's a faux-pas.
You spend the rest of the walk in silence.
Arven for his part, feels bad for being the one to silence you, but he isn't quite sure why. Like, you shouldn't sing in public, right? That's weird, right? Sure the song was great, and your voice is lovely, but... But that wasn't...wasn't normal, right?
Fuck, and now you're being quiet, and he isn't quite sure what to make of that, so he stays quiet, too.
That evening, Arven is eventually the one to suggest you both stop to have dinner and set up camp for the night. You only nod to his suggestion and get started on setting everything up for yourself and your pokemon. He gets started on dinner as you work on the tent and getting everyone cleaned and healed up from the day's battles.
Your pokemon, of course, notice the change in you, sensing that you're much more down than usual. Both tinkatuff (no longer tinkatink!) and scream tail both try to cajole you into a song, and skeledirge also chirrs lowly, but you quietly hush them, watching Arven's back carefully. You'd rather not embarrass yourself further by singing in front of him anymore. It hurts to think that he doesn't like your singing voice, but...well you think you like him more than you like singing.
As it turns out, Arven's pokemon also pick up on the difference, too, and Mabosstiff is quickly by your side, snuffling against your hands and side in an effort to get you to interact with him.
"Hey, bud..." You whisper to him softly, petting his sides. Mabosstiff boofs loudly twice, and you try to hush him some. "Hey... Let's be quiet for now, yeah?" Instead, Mabosstiff doubles down, baying like a smeargle. You wince and look to Arven, but he doesn't seem to mind the noise the pokemon are making. You smile and ruffle Mabosstiff's fur as he keeps singing, then you return to setting the tent up.
Like clockwork, Arven has dinner on the table as you're finishing up with the other preparations. You wait for him to finish filling the pokemons' bowls and for him to sit down at the table with you before you start eating.
It's delicious, as always, and you want to tell him as much, but you just don't have it in you to break the silence after so long.
So, Arven does.
"I... Uh, I think I messed up."
You give him a confused look, and with a mouth half full (covered by a hand, of course!) you say. "The food tastes fine?"
Arven groans, pinching the bridge of his nose. "No, no. I mean, thanks, but no. I..." He sighs. "Did...Did I mess up? Or, like? Hurt your feelings or something today? I didn't mean to."
"Oh!" You look back down to your food. "Uh... I mean... I guess? You didn't mean to, but yes? It's okay though. I'm sorry you didn't like my singing. I feel bad, you know? Like it must have been really grating these last few weeks--"
"What?" He interrupts. "N-No! That's not it at all! I love your voice! It's beautiful! Like you! I-I mean. Uh..." He goes red. "I really like your voice. A lot. I...I just...well, I wasn't expecting for you to break out into song in the woods today. It caught me off guard, and...I dunno. It seemed weird?"
You bristle. "Weird?"
Arven winces. "I-I dunno! I just...wasn't expecting it, and...I dunno. I'm sorry, okay? I didn't mean to hurt your feelings, and... I dunno, it was...sad...today...without the sound of your voice..."
You feel your face heat up at his confession. "So you don't mind when I sing to the pokemon?"
"No! I really like it. I...I didn't get to listen to a lot of music as a kid, so this probably doesn't mean anything, but... You're my favorite singer ever."
So singing becomes a welcome nightly ritual, not just one that Arven feels he can observe from afar. He's never quite comfortable enough to join in with you, save for maybe humming along softly with something he knows particularly well, but you don't force the subject with him. Singing is an incredibly personal thing, after all.
Arven and you have to spend a week or so apart not long afterward. You've been called away on League duties, and he decides to busy himself with some post-graduate study at the academy with Saguaro. When you meet back up at the lighthouse on Poco Path, you can immediately tell something's wrong.
After graduating, Arven turned the old lab into a makeshift apartment for himself between journeys, and he usually keeps the place as spotless as his old dorm. Currently though, the shutters are all closed with no natural light getting in, and the usual smells of deliciously cooking food are nowhere to be found. You find Arven curled up on the sofa, Mabosstiff whimpering at his side.
"Hey...What's going on?"
"Hey...Just uh..." It's clear from the sound of his voice that he'd either been crying or is actively holding back tears. "Found some stuff...from the professor..." By the way he says it, you know he means his parent. He gestures to a notebook, left open face down on the coffee table.
You sit down next to your boyfriend, pick up the book, and scan the page. It seems Arven found a passage written about him...about how one of his parents had walked out on the other not long after he was born... He was referred to as "the boy" the whole passage... Just reading it makes your blood boil. You click your tongue disapprovingly, and Arven hiccups a silent sob.
You put an arm around him, coaxing his head into your lap. "Shh..."
"I...I must've done s-something wrong...right?"
You run your fingers through his hair, pushing away that one tuftthat's forever blocking off half of his face. "Absolutely not," You soothe in soft tones. "You were only a baby... You couldn't have done a thing... They were both just...bitter people..."
"No... No, don't say that..." He says, turning a bit into your top.
"I'm sorry... But none of this was your fault, okay?"
He nods against you, digging his fingers into your side.
You keep petting his head, doing your best in the moment to soothe his aching heart. Mabosstiff similarly stretches out, putting more of his weight onto Arven, assuring him of his presence.
There as you sit in the quiet, with Arven trying to steady his breathing and swallow down the lump in his throat, you start to sing. It's hushed, like a lullaby, but with a melancholic longing. There's catharsis in singing music like this through a broken heart. Arven lets his tears fall silently as you sing to him. Between the sound of you, your touch in his hair, and Mabosstiff's weight on him, he stays tethered to the earth, present and safe and loved.
