Saw Adore last night. She was amazing and extremely sweet. I got to meet her before the show and it was unreal. The meet and greet was right next to the merch stand and I was up next when they announced it was starting. I paid for my stuff and turned and - BOOM, there she was with the first couple of people. I walked over, got in line, and tried to calm myself. Then I got my turn and several things: 1- SO taller than me. I’m 5′2, so I was chest level with her.

2- I gave her the gift bag with the drawing I did above, plus other goodies, in it and she said it was like valentines.

3- I told her I was excited and nervous and trying to calm the butterflies in my stomach. She said to stay calm and eat some oatmeal when I get home. I laughed.

4- I hugged her twice. She gives amazing hugs.

The show was amazing, too, and I took tons of pics and videos. Surprised to hear her do “Negative Nancy” and so happy she did “I adore You”, “Pretty Boys Cry”, and “I can’t Love You”, all four are some of my favs, plus an awesome rendition of “Creep” and “I Put A Spell On You”. So much that it nearly killed my phone’s photo storage limit. I may upload some of it tomorrow and cull the photos on my phone to fix storage.

Hello hello! Been a while since I've posted my art on tumblr, (though I HAVE still been lurking the whole time) so I figure I'll start by posting some of the sonic covers I like the most from the main ongoing comic series! I've been pushing my character proportions to feel more like the rubbery sa1 proportions for the past year and a half, so lately I've been more satisfied with how I'm drawing everyone.

I've just finished making these ancient Roman inspired "laurel wreath" crowns out of jewel beetle shells and preserved 17 year cicada wings. I've done three of the jewel beetle ones, so one is in my Etsy (link in bio), the cicada wing one is one of a kind so far so I haven't listed it yet. I'm really happy with how these came out!
