it’s so important that people stand up for palestinians and the genocide that they’ve been experiencing for multiple months now, and i’ve been doing so in any way i can since october. boycotting, reblogging posts, familiarizing myself with what’s going on, etc.
that being said, i js wna know.. what’s a week long strike of not posting tlou fics gonna do? i’m not at all against the idea, i’m genuinely asking, because first and foremost, it’s looking like not a lot of people knew about it. neil is not profiting off of the fanfiction YOU write. i feel like if anything, people should be boycotting the game (including the remaster), merch, etc. anything that puts money into the pockets of neil drukman. i bet tons of people bought the remaster, (whether or not you did is between you and god i guess.) the genocide began in october. the remaster came out in january.. that was last month. i’m sure plenty of you knew of the genocide, but now it’s boycott tlou?? with the remaster sitting in your ps5 library??????? 😭 i’ve seen people talking about how neil’s a zionist in the ellie tag, so it’s no way some of y’all didn’t know.
after this, y’all are gonna go back to posting tlou content, which is fine, but it makes me wonder what the goal truly is here. is it just a single week dedicated to spreading awareness? because you should be doing that just as much either way. realistically, if you were striking the “right” way, you’d stop posting fics/tlou content until the genocide is 100% resolved. if you had been constantly spreading awareness about what’s happening in palestine in the first place just as much as you are now, the exact same way you are now, while simultaneously posting fics or whatever the hell else, would you REALLY need a week? again, genuinely asking. and before you get mad, let’s really think about it. advocate for palestine the right way.

It’s so disappointing watching people post about tlou when there’s a whole nother strike(Feb 18-25) going on to bring more awareness to the genocide that is currently happening with Palestine. A/N: Whiel i love the trope of masc!abby x fem!reader, gotta say I'm more towards the masc side so I had to write this
sharing! CLOTHES
im sorry but can you imagine!! like you can borrow her clothes and shirts and she can borrow yours
personally i have a jacket that looks realy similar to her WLF one so most people can't tell who's clothes you're wearing at any time
depending on your style, you def end up slightly improving hers
she gives vibes that she wouldn't really care how she dressed as long as it was suitable and appropriate
if you dressed to the dark academia, prep for her stealing your sweaters, if you dress punk, yea you're never seeing that jacket again
i feel like she would be the type to go for femmes (or men if she wasn't gay yet) then you fucking showed up at this party, dressed to the nines in a black button up and trousers with chains and rings, charming as hell
and then you startt alking to her with that sweet smile, innocently putting your hand on her arm
she realized then and there that you are more charming and sweet than any man she could ever date
"Nice to meet you..." You trailed off, putting your hand forward for a handshake, lopsided smirk on your face as you waited for her to finish your sentence with her name.

"abby, my name is abby." She said in a lower tone of voice, clearing her throat. She winced immediately when she grabbed your hand with more strength than she thought, seeing your face change.
"Pleasure." You said, trying not to grin at the obvious effect you were having on her, the pain in your hand becoming dull as you watched her fumble.

What the fuck man?
Hi, so I know there's a lot of atrocities happening in the world right now, I'd just like to temporarily bring your attention to another one.
Yesterday, in one of the busiest streets in Dublin, Ireland, a man stabbed 3 children, a woman and another man. A woman and a man disarmed him and the perpetrator was then beaten. He was arrested and then shortly taken to be treated for his wounds.
The victims were treated for their injuries, the worst of the injuries was a 5 year old girl who spent the night in the intensive care unit.
The man was verified to be Algerian, and despite having lived in Ireland for the past 20 years is being flagged as "an irish attacking immigrant." (these facts have been passed through grapevines and articles, if someone has more accurate facts I'm more than happy to change this post).
This then led to riots against immigrants taking place in city centre. For context, the anti immigrant riots have slowly escalated. 3 years ago, there were monthly protests. 1 year ago, there were weekly protests.
Yesterday, busses, trains and cars were burnt.
Stores were looted.
Hotels/Camps where refugees were staying were attacked.
Police were assaulted.
Students were forced to take shelter in their friends homes or in college for the entire night.
Today, there have been rumors of these same anti-immigrant groups attacking bus/train stops in order to, and I quote: "Kill all immigrants, just kill 'em all."
Tomorrow, there is a protest planned in city centre against all immigrants in city centre.
This incident is just the beginning, everyone has seen this story before. This is not a new story. Please raise awareness and do what you can. If you know someone in Dublin, please pass this information on.

Update: Thankfuly, they didn't go through with the 7am attackings of bus/train stops. Not many people went into college, I'm a POC so I stayed home, and I'm planning to do so for the next day or so.
There have been rumors of more riots all day, thankfully nothing has happened so far. There's an pro-immigrant protest happening on Monday and employers and companies are being encouraged to attend this to "put the far right back in their place"

College!AU, you're at a bar with your friends, Abby is at the same bar with like, Owen and Nora and a few others. There's a song coming on and you fuckin love it, for my own pleasure let's say it's girls girls girls by FLETCHER.
You instnatly try dragging your friends but they're "busy with their drinks". You turn around and see this 6ft tall tank trying to do the same with her friends but they don't agree. and she's been eyeing you all night.
So you make the first move and go over to her and ask her somethin cheesy like: "Hey since neither of us can convince our friends to come dance with us, do you wanna go dance?"
this girl is a goner.
You go on the dance floor just when this bit comes on:
