WHAT IF I STARTED CRYING. WHAT THEN. LOOK AT THEM THEY'RE SO PERFECT. UGHHH, the dress Vastra is wearing is so perfect, and the lil stars sprinkled all over! The matching necklace and earrings for them! Their scrunkly blushing faces! They're so close, HUAHHHHH! HAVE I MENTIONED JENNY'S HAIR!!! Gosh it's so fucking gorgeous, Roz! It's so bouncy and looks so soft <3 Vastra's scales!!!! Holy fuck, the level of detail in themmmmm! Also the blue of Jenny's waistcoat and the red of Vastra's dress!? Mwah <3 Also. Mistletoe. Mistletoe kiss. I am such a sucker for it, yes it's cliché, no I don't care. it's GORGEOUSSSS! I love everything about this and I am sobbing I love it T_T Thank you so much, Roz! (also, go commission them, they're like. really, really skilled. As you can see. They're amazingggg)

i didn’t come to terms with being gay and shit from watching dr who and seeing capn jack just for people to be asses and say that its too woke

anyway just thinkin about an au where jenny ends up getting turned into a vampire during a case and now she gets to spend forever with vastra(YAY) but now she and the gang also have to hide the fact jenny is now a vampire and ya know stuff happens idk wacky hijinks ensue and jenny and vastra kill lots of bad guys and make out a ton

are you kidding me deep breath was the last episode with jennyvastra+strax? we’re never seeing them again? they only just showed up! i swear jack had fewer appearances than this trio and he got his own spinoff. i need to watch a series about this lizard lesbian her working class wife and their pet murderous potato expeditiously. they’re canonically the prototype for sherlock and watson they are always going on about the cases they’ve cracked offscreen it’s practically begging for a separate show consisting of their adventures right?? (before anyone tells me about big finish i am aware. it’s just not the same as the hypothetical spinoff that i’m envisioning in my mind’s eye)

talk about untapped potential. you finally show these gorgeous characters sharing a life-saving kiss onscreen just to give them up forever 5 minutes later. bring the dykes BACK they’re out here keeping victorian london safe

Does anyone remember when Steven Moffatt was the showrunner of Doctor Who and Sherlock at the same time and he introduced a married lesbian couple in Doctor Who who were supposed to be a genderswapped Sherlock and John, but he kept saying that the actual Sherlock and John he was writing in Sherlock weren't gay and would never be gay and the audience was reading into things too much, but said in an interview he would never make gay jokes for no reason without an endgame planned because that would be homophobic? And also one of the lesbians was a lizard? That was kinda weird, right?

Not the lizard part, though, that part ruled.

LOOK AT THEM. GOSH. Jenny in that coat and bodice!? She looks more beautiful than I could have ever imagined. HER HAIR!??? The boots!!! And Vastra's happy face, she's just completely overjoyed. As am I, seeing that beautiful art! The embroidery on her skirt is so cuuute 🥺Also hELLO THE SHIRT!? THE ALGAE AND BUBBLES, AND HER ARMS!? Her beautiful shifter necklace!? Gosh, and her position looks so playful and graceful all the same! It's just. I love everything about this. Also, the orange background contrasts SO nicely with the other background for the first art piece I commissioned for Turn Loose the Mermaids!
