When she first started at school Genevieve wanted to be liked and find friends more than anything, so much so that she got caught up in gossip and knowing other people's business. Sure Greer was nice to her but wouldn't ever really give her the time of day. Genevieve felt a bit of rejection in that and found no matter what she did to try and put herself out there, the attention was almost always on Greer, especially over her.
