Recommend a fic with an unusual/original headcanon or characterisation that you loved
I'm going to go with this one. Because ... Look, as a parent, I have issues with the way people treat Marion, Veth, Yeza.... and especially Deirta. I cannot stand her being just a monolith of abuse. Essek is perfectly capable of making shitty, selfish choices, and being his evil little twinky self without it being his mother's fault.
Sure, sure, he found love (platonic and romantic) and it fixed him, whatever. But Deirta is literally hundreds of years old. She's a religious leader, she has a spouse, and likely had many children. She's 'perfect', for whatever that means in Kryn society.
It drives me mad to just have "Deirta is evil and bad" with no depth, no thought to her role in society, and how awful it could be to love, and love and love, in a society that sees death as only another transition to return from in years. Elves dont' measure in days or months - they live hundreds of years/!?
So yeah, this is one of a few fics that I really, really enjoyed. Maybe I should write Deirta sometime.
Recommend some fanart of an uncommon character, place, or event
You know I always like to hype our cake shop friends. Cylin's orym hime, piranya's ashton, etc etc. But none of those feel rare enough for an ask from you? They're campaign favourites, even if they're rare-r. Plus, you've seen them.
So I'll give you an npc i really like by someone who isn't afraid to commit to scarring. @zmeess did an absolutely stunning Astrid Becke.
Give kudos to someone who deserves recognition for their contributions to the fandom (event mod, server mod, creator of rec lists, etc.)
I'm going to give you three. @lookoutrogue, as an event mod and server mod. The witcher fandom has absolutely no idea how much they owe this quiet account.
Also, @hungarianbee and @thirstyforred together get noted for the sheer amount of lore, knowledge, and support they offer. The witcher fandom as a whole would be the lesser without them.
And of course, @continentcakeshop as a whole. Everyone in there makes an effort to encourage each other, to share in joy and pain and words and art. To be silly together, to support each other when sad. It hasn't been only a fandom server in a bit, so I'm kind of cheating. But otherwise I'd have to list everyone, for their support, their stories, their pictures, their kindnesses, their understanding. It's just a wonderful group of people that span a wide range of fandoms, but we just really like hanging out together.

14. If you could see one of your fics adapted into a visual medium, such as comic or film, which fan fic would you pick? (the writer's ask)
OMG, thank you for this question, but it's horrible to ask me this 馃槀 Because while writing I already imagine each scene as a comics panel or movie frame. Actually, as a teen, I really wanted to be a comic book writer and I try to sort of paint the scene just with words.
But just a few:
"beautiful moment" would be a great short comic, maybe with the additional challenge of trying to fit each scene on a single page
"Sublime" is in my mind a crime tv series (I'm still working on it, I swear, it's not dropped), I mean it's heavily inspired by Hannibal and I would love to see it being given such detailed and nuanced show
"The Devourer of Suns" I think would be a beautiful black, white & red comic book, tieing all together blood and rowan trees, and fire
I would love to see "Midi holiday chaos with PrinceAns猫is [FULL SAGA]" actually recreated as a series of TikToks 馃槍
"The Inverne G脿idh incident" could be, with a few tiny changes, an episode of Love, Death & Robots. Blur Studio hit me up!

Title challenge: Starlight
Kiyan is lost in his own mind, fighting the demon that lives in his body, running from it, trying to take back control. He sees and hears so many awful things; not death, just the killing - slow and bloody and awful. And he sees the stars - a memory of them; he's on the water and the stars are bright and beautiful above him. He hears someone tell him they'll guide him home and he's sure they're right, if only he can hold on to the vision of them long enough.

Okay this is tough, but I gotta say Isu拧ena Kalju啪a is one of my all time favourite characterisations of the bard. Competent, assassin Jaskier - so fucking good.

And @tumbleweedtech for running a server full of great ideas and good friends. I don't spend a lot of time in fandom spaces anymore, but they both make me feel welcome <3

You're a little shit (ilu) because you know i was running with these titles for Witcher fics.
But to be a little shit myself, I'm going to shift it to CR.
I'll go with Fjord and Jester.
Maybe Fjord's POV, after they've been at sea for awhile, post campaign. The honeymoon stage of traveling alone together has worn off- it's not shiny new romance anymore, but there's so much joy to be hand, so many memories together. She's effervescent- there's no boredom when she's around.
Just him thinking of the promises they've made to each other- in word, in touch, in emotion, maybe he's finally thinking of putting a ring on it- because they've been through so much, together.
She grew up. She grew older. They grew apart, and then together, and then they settled into this life like tumbleweeds. There's no calm roots- they're bounding joyfully through the world, the only stability they truly have is each other - and they run, and run, and run and he realizes one day they're not running from. They're not running to.
They're just. Running, reckless, together.
And he wants it for the rest of their lives.

Summary:
It was three minutes until Lambert鈥檚 break, on day five of one of the most hellish weeks of the year. Black Friday weekend was the absolute fucking worst, and Lambert couldn鈥檛 wait for his day off.
