#jason: is this retribution for all of my actions?

Did I read stranger things asks ?
Ok it just popped in my mind :
What about some angst with Jason nabing Eddie’s SO to ask them where he is, he and his bunch of jokes just “take them for a ride” and ask questions on where Eddie “the freak” munson is, probably with baseball bats (“I’m more a basketball man, but today I’ll do an exeption.”) and obviously Jason never planned to let them go (“he took my girlfriend, I’ll do the same”)
Idk if it’s a good idea, but looks like it fits on your blog, so maybe? (Please )
muhahaha I love this I love it so much. I've opted for she/her pronouns but i would be more than happy to do another gn or amab one!!
Hunt the freak
Tumblr media
It had been days, and Eddie hadn't called... He always called. It had gotten to the point where y/n would sit by the phone and wait for something, anything to let her know that he was still out there. That he hadn't forgotten about her. Most importantly that he was safe.
Another morning had gone by with no calls at all, the fact her boyfriend had up and left without giving her so much as an inkling of where he was headed or where to find him was really beginning to weigh on y/n. So much so that the firm rapping on her front door was met with unmatched excitement. Unfortunately for her, it was not her boyfriend on the other side of the door, but Jason Carver. A very disheveled looking Jason nonetheless, backed up by a crowd of other Hawkins basketball stars. He greeted her with a sly smile on his lips, looking at her expectantly "Hey there, we need to ask you a few questions. You're that freak's girlfriend right? We got the right house?" A flash of cold rand down her body and she lunged to shut the door, frightened almost to death of being hurt.
He didn't take kindly to having the door shut in his face, or at least an attempt at that being made. To his fatigued, grief stricken mind that action insinuated she was hiding something. Keeping secrets. He couldn't afford to have people keeping secrets, especially after what happened to his Chrissy. Maybe he was bitter, maybe. But he wanted retribution. Answers. In that moment more than ever, Jason Carver felt very badly done to; unable to wrap his head around why this had happened. Why him of all people? Why Chrissy? Why did she have to die? Why did that freak get to keep living? Why wasn't he grieving? Why would God let that vessel of Satan escape? Why? Why? Why?
Jason launched himself forwards, pushing the door back open, eyes narrowed. He didn't hesitate to snatch y/n out of her house by the arm, his fingers digging into her arm hard enough to leave bruises. "Now you're gonna come with us, and you're gonna tell us where that fucking freak is" he snarled, his hot breath dancing on her skin "we're going to sit down and you're gonna fucking talk... no harm done" . It was a hassle to keep her breathing steady when she was surrounded by teenage boys wielding baseball bats. "Don't you think I'd be with him right now if I knew where he was? I'm just as in the dark about it as you guys are" she bleated, panic rushing down her spine in quick, rattling chills. Making her hair stand on end and her heard quicken its pace. If she wasn't careful they would beat her to death. That seemed clear to her. "I promise you, I don't know where he is. He hasn't called me in days."
This was not the answer that blonde Sherlock Holmes was looking for, obviously too desperate for closure to pay attention to laws anymore "Take her for a ride" he hissed, releasing y/n's arm, giving her a shove over to one of his goons "I'm gonna take a look around". Jason seemed pretty nonchalant about committing two felonies in a row, so too did his goons that stepped forward and grabbed her arms restraining her almost as if she was being arrested. Pinning her so that she couldn't squirm. Even if she did manage to get out, the way they were brandishing those bats made it pretty apparent that they were not opposed to using them.
From his position on her doorstep, Jason turned to smile at y/n, at her face twisted in fear and resentment "What? He took my girlfriend, I'm taking his... it's only fair right?"
It didn't take long for them to shove her into the beat up truck they were patrolling Hawkins in, they sort of left her in the back with Lucas, a young man she recognised from Hellfire. He looked at her sympathetically but it was apparent he did not feel safe defying them any more than she did. Clearly, Chrissy's disappearance and unfortunate demise had unlocked something awful in Jason. A mass hysteria swept over Hawkins overnight as the community searched frantically for Eddie, pitchforks and torches raised high.
Hunting the freak.
Defying all rationality for a scapegoat.
Humans do funny things for closure. For answers to unsolvable questions. For opportunities to ease their aching hearts and fretting minds. Anything to help them sleep at night. Sometimes going to incredible lengths to achieve this, closure. This peace of mind.
It appeared to y/n in this moment that Jason Carver's funny thing was taking an innocent teenager away from home and keeping her hostage, for retribution. Retribution for a crime that Edward Munson had absolutely no capacity to carry out whatsoever.
She had no idea where they were taking her, or what sort of plan they had for her on arrival. But y/n was certain that they had no intention of letting her go. Not until they had gotten their shrewd idea of justice on Eddie. It appeared they did not have any sort of capacity for rationality, not now. Maybe it was never truly there to begin with. From the looks of it, they were bloodthirsty. An eye for an eye was the mindset.
They were going to kill her fucking boyfriend.
And there was nothing she could do about it.

Trigger Warning: Implied suicide attempt I'm finally finished! This is the remake that I was talking about 10 days ago; it took a few days, but I'm done.
The reason for the redraw is because I stopped liking the outfit he was presented with originally, but loved the punk clothes people drew him in so I did my version, that and I wanted to touch up the scene a little by drawing it digitally. I will however keep the original version for historical purposes: Link
Anyways, as mentioned in the original drawing: The story here takes place in Mid-December 1987.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Medea King and her now ex-boyfriend Jason Lennon had a very nasty breakup because of the latter's actions, which resulted in her loosing self-control and beating him to an inch of his life with [Flogging Molly], he survived but had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries.
The resulting fallout caused Medea to get exiled from America and had to be sent to live with her maternal Grandparents in Cork, Ireland to protect her from the media and Jason's family. Losing her childhood sweetheart and chances of ever getting a degree in Archaeology had sent Medea into a very bitter depression.
2 weeks later, it was nighttime, and Medea runs off to Blarney Castle to be alone, there she contemplated on throwing herself off the castle roof.
When she tried to climb the walls though, she heard a voice behind her asking why she's doing something so reckless, that's where DIO makes the scene. Thrown off by his beautiful appearance at first, she wanted nothing to do with him. That's when DIO seized the moment to use his manipulation tactics on her:
He presented her a crystal ball and he activates it using [The Passion], the crystal ball showcases her childhood and love life, all the while he tells her how he understood her pain and suffering, going on about how he had a brother he loved dearly before he "betrayed" him in the past and how it took him years to recover from the trauma.
This caused Medea to breakdown crying, she mourns how she had loved Jason with all her heart and how she had poured her heart to him only for him to reject it for his greed, she also mentioned it was thanks to him that her life and reputation is basically ruined because she cannot become an archaeologist or return to America without facing retribution, and doesn't know what to do with her life now.
Now that he has her wrapped around his finger, he "comforts" her and tells her not to cry anymore, he promises her that her suffering will end if she chooses to join him and give her Stand more power in hopes of ruining Jason's life like how he ruined hers.
Finally, after thinking long and hard about this, she accepts his proposal.
Batfam in Hogwarts houses
Because I couldn't resist.
HOWEVER this is also keeping in mind that a) your choices matter in House Selection and b) you choose/receive your house at 11 gosh darn years old.
So that said...
Alfred: Gryffindor. After a youth of crazy shenanigans he took in his boss's/friends' emo child. Insane.
Bruce: Slytherin. My emo 11 year old is already planning to eradicate all crime in the city as a secret ninja
Dick: Hufflepuff. My traumatized adopted child has already lost one family, attempted murder in retribution, and in the process gained a new family
Babs: Ravenclaw. Possibly the most normal child on the list at age 11, considering working in a library some day
Jason: Gryffindor. My wild boy is literally stealing tires from the local hero/cryptid. I believe his fanon love for books does not outweigh his natural flair for daring and dramatic actions
Cass: Hufflepuff. My very traumatized 11 year old is being raised by Cain, probably yet to kill someone and realize how wrong it is. Unquestioning loyalty has been drilled in from birth
Tim: Slytherin. He skips school but sneaks out for pictures of his heroes. His parents are shrewd business people that he wants desperately to impress
Steph: Gryffindor. She's raised in a poor home with a (Ravenclaw) dad who's in and out of jail and a beaten down (Hufflepuff) mom who won't leave him. She's already sick of his crap and secretly a Robin fan.
Duke: Ravenclaw. The other contender for most normal childhood. By all accounts a notably great student in school before his parents were attacked
Damian: Slytherin. Raised in a violent cult and taught to keep all emotions locked inside, escaped to find his father was also a Slytherin who valued cunning and creativity
Hey! I've seen every live action adaptation official adaptation of resident evil! Here are my thoughts! (warning: SPOILERS!)
Resident Evil: Cool and slick. Kinda a let down that Rain died, but her death was effective. If you watched this, and only this, you can see it as a tie in to the games and a nice standalone feature. Weird that the dog scene in this is better than the Netflix one.
Resident Evil Apocalypse: Fun, if the characters are flat and one note. Milla Jovovich (Alice) and Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine) own in their action scenes. Could have sprung for CGI for Nemisis in the close range fight - made it more believable.
Resident Evil Extinction: Mad max rip off with character's somehow flatter than the previous installment. Clair Redfield was played well by Ali Larter, but her character had nothing but "leader of the caravan" - needed more characterization. The oil rig set piece was alright, but kinda a low point of the series.
Resident Evil Afterlife: Damn cool first and last action scene. Wentworth Miller was a great Chris Redfield, but Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker was the MVP - so over the top, and loving every second of it. Boris Kodjoe as Luther Wes had great charisma as well. The middle of the movie is kinda standard zombie movie and not that interesting - could have been better, but otherwise okay. This movie's title should have been Afterlife - given how it's after the extinction - the next one should have been called rebirth. Hindsight is 2020.
Resident Evil Retribution: Best installment, in my opinion. The underground water base gave a variety of locations, the monsters were varied and gave room from several set pieces. Say what you want about Johann Urb as Leon, Kevin Duran as Benny, and Li BingBing as Ada, but all three had good chemistry with each other - not a lot of substance, but DAMN, did they have style. Michelle Rodriguez was underutilized - should have had an OG version of Rain come back as a clone and survive to the final film - that would have been cool. Ending shot mirror's the first movie's ending shot x10 setting up for an epic conclusion.
Resident Evil - The Final Chapter: WE WE'RE ROBBED! Why did they go back to the Extinction ascetic and skip the much more interesting looking Washington DC battle (and not to mention kill several characters) for a run down retread of the first movie?! Even if you just wanted to do that, why is Clair and Alice the only characters at the end?! Yes, Jason Issacs is a great actor and it was cool you brought him back, but it required the lore to bend over backwards to fit him in. I'm not saying it super bad - some action sequences are very cool - just disappointing.
Resident Evil - Welcome to Racoon City: And I thought the last installment sucked! Bad fight choreography and filming, bland characterization (oh, Albert, what did they do to you? A misunderstood "not" bad guy that doesn't even do anything noteworthy? And Jill was turned into a weeping willow? Leon as the comic relief?), not scary (somehow, the Licker from the first Resident Evil was better then what showed up here). How do we beat the final boss? Oh, I just so happened to find a rocket launcher - LUCKY US! Just...bad. And also kills any straightforward adaption.
Resident Evil - Netflix live action series: In attempting to create something unique, they ended up presenting a boring YA novel mashed with a disappointing apocalypse (STOP IT WITH THE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE IN THESE MOVIES! IT WORKED IN THE ORIGINAL INSTALLMENTS, BUT NO MORE! IT BACKS THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE INTO A CORNER BECAUSE YOU CAN NEVER PULL BACK THE APOCALYPSE!) The lead constantly makes dumb decisions and survives not by skill or smarts, but by luck. Giant centipede attack? Survives because of random survivors. Surrounded by Zombies? Survives because a car just so happens to be swinging by. Only have a chainsaw against an oncoming horde of zombies? That sounds cool - no wait, the chainsaw breaks down - awe. WAIT! She's been saying she is smart - write her a way out of this that requires her to think! She can see an grenade that didn't pop off - she positions it at the door, fires her last few rounds on it's hinges, it falls and explodes - sending the door upward and breaking the granite above her and sending down an avalanche against them....or you can have her throw it and then stand up when it doesn't explode and have the door falling down thing be dumb luck. UGH! And the set pieces just do not have any good conclusion. Giant centipede - the centerpiece of the first trailer - killed by a dozen bullets from offscreen characters. Literally no problem to put down - SO BORING! Interesting set up - good actors (Lance Reddick rocks and the rest of the actors and actresses do well - but MAN should he have been playing the real Wesker - his one scene as OG wesker was SO FUN AND THE BEST Live Action adaptation of the character - but NOPE! Let's have him play a dad and an out their guy - cheat the fans even more), disastrous execution. FYI - somehow WTRC is more boring than this, but there are just so much wrong with this instalment. PLEASE give the franchise back to PS Anderson and Milla Jovovich - the OG series wasn't all winners, but they were better than this and WTRC!
Trigger Warning: Implied suicide attempt I came up with a scenario on how my Jojo OC Medea King meets DIO and gets tempted by him... I mean, what do you expect? He does this every time there's a Stand user nearby. This took me all day and night to come up with this so forgive me if this is late. Anyways, The story here takes place in December 1987, a year before the events of Stardust Crusaders.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Medea King and her now ex-boyfriend Jason Lennon had a very nasty breakup because of the latter's actions, which resulted in her loosing self-control and beating him to an inch of his life with her Stand Flogging Molly(which at the time she believed was a Irish faerie and didn't have a name), he survived but had to be taken to the hospital for his injuries.
The resulting fallout caused Medea to get expelled from her dream collage and had to be sent to live with her maternal Grandparents in Cork, Ireland to protect her from the media and Jason's family. Losing her childhood sweetheart and chances of ever getting a degree in Archaeology had sent Medea into a very bitter depression. 2 weeks later, it was nighttime and Medea runs off to Blarney Castle to be alone, there she contemplated on throwing herself off the castle roof much to Flogging Molly's horror.
When she tried to climb the walls though, she finds herself back on the castle roof, she tried again only to end up back on the roof again, this surprised her and her Stand greatly when she heard a voice behind her asking why is she doing something so reckless, that's where DIO makes the scene. Thrown off by his beautiful appearance at first, she asks if he's going to kill her, he refuses, saying that she had a wonderful gift that she should share with him and that killing her would be a waste.
Medea tells him to screw off and that she just wants to be left alone, he steps forward instead and she tries punching him, only for him to "disappear" and whisper behind her, this went on for a minute before Flogging Molly starts punching out in frustration, he catches that fist and tells her that he's amused but her Stand could've done better. She asks what a Stand was and he reveals Flogging Molly's real identity of being one and how it came to be, as well as there being more Stand users in the world besides both of them.
He promises to show her his Stand if she agreed to join him on his conquests, she refuses to be apart of his plans, especially because he's a guy. He asks if it was because of her fallout with Jason, this surprised her because she never told him her ex's name and asks how he knew... That's when DIO seized the moment to use his manipulation tactics on her: He tells her that he's been watching her ever since she first arrived in Ireland and knew of her past before presenting her a crystal ball, she takes the ball and he activates it using "the Passion".
The crystal ball showcases her childhood and love life, all the while he tells her how he understood her pain and suffering, going on about how he had a brother he loved dearly before he "betrayed" him in the past and how it took him years to recover from the trauma(yes, he respects Jonathan as an equal, but is still willing to paint him as the bad guy). This caused Medea to breakdown crying, she mourns how she had loved Jason with all her heart and how she had poured her heart to him only for him to reject it for his greed, she also mentioned it was thanks to him that her life and reputation is basically ruined because she cannot become an archaeologist or return to America without facing retribution, and doesn't know what to do with her life now.
Now that he has her wrapped around his finger, he "comforts" her and tells her not to cry anymore, he promises her that her suffering will end if she chooses to join him and give her Stand more power in hopes of ruining Jason's life like how he ruined hers. Finally, after thinking long and hard about this, she accepts his proposal. Satisfied, he gives her an envelope with the name "DIO" on it, he tells her that he can't get her over to Egypt since they can't be seen together, she's going to have to make her way over.
She asks if he's going to protect her from retribution if anyone from America found out about her, he promises before leaving into the darkness. After she returned to her Grandparent's home, she looks inside the envelope to see what's inside, it contains the following: 1 set of instructions on how to reach him 1 plane ticket to Cairo, Egypt 1 map of Cairo with his home marked on it 2 photos, one of his mansion and one of his gatekeeper Pet Shop 1 Tarot card, representing "The World" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
