Y nuestros hijos...
—Espera, espera, ¿nuestros hijos?

Tourney day in King's Landing is...something
Aemond: if I could have the blessing of the beautiful, stunning Lord of the Tides; Prince Lucerys, then surely winning this tourney will be of little challenge.
Lucerys, blushing: oh, perhaps I could spare a blessing...
Cregan: Your blessing for this tourney, Prince Jacaerys, will allow me to defeat any foe that comes my way. If you would grant me it, I will win this tourney with no problem.
Jacaerys, giggling: Of course, my good lord...win the tourney for me.
Daeron: Granting me your blessing for this tourney would be the highest of honors, Prince Joffrey. With your word, I will win this tournament in your name.
Joffrey: You don't need my blessing to win. I didn't raise no bitch. Get out there and kick ass WITHOUT my blessing, it ain't gonna help you win.
Daeron: some motivation would be nice 💀

Chapter Thirteen- I'll Be a Better Man Jace witnesses a mostly normal family dinner among the Greens. Aegon and Abby choose each other.
“They cheered for us!” Daeron exclaimed. “Tessarion flew across Highgarden and everyone cheered to see us. And I got to see Garmund - he’s a page for Lord Tyrell now, and they left a few days after us. We took the Mander up and I saw Lord Fossoway at Cider Hall, and then Bitterbridge and we got off at Tumbleton and Aemond! We saw Vhagar! She was flying over the Kingswood. ‘Twas brilliant! She scared half the guards with us, since the only dragon they’d ever seen was Tessarion.” The exuberance of his younger brother brought a hint of a smile across Aemond’s scowling face, and his violet gaze shifted from where he watched Jace and Baela to look down the table, leaning closer towards Abrogail who was smiling indulgently as she soaked her bread in the soup. “Did you? She quite enjoys it out there, and roosts in the cliffs. Perhaps she thought Tessarion was a screeching swan.” Helaena giggled and Daeron sputtered in indignation at the tease. Even Otto Hightower looked amused, a strange fondness in his expression while the king was content to enjoy his course, humming occasionally and giving a hint of a smile before drawing Lord Otto into conversation about the Westerlands and the Ironborn. It struck him as odd. Had he not missed Daeron? Was he not interested in the journey from one coast of their land to the other? And all the boy had seen? Daeron was talking about the small villages along the Mander, and how Ser Gwayne had explained the river villages were similar to those of the Riverlands themselves.

Hi. I've been into fandom for over a decade now and I have just started to feel comfortable and confident to comment on amazingly talented author and artist work but I also just started to try to write my own. It's new and scary but if anyone has any tips, tricks, advice, or even has the time to maybe beta read so stuff that would be great,
Sincerely signed a 22 years old trying to make friends on the Internet
P.S. if it wasn't obvious for the fact I said 22 years old please child don't interact

Good Luck Egg Chapter One: Welcome Egg
Tumblr media
Summary: Jace Targaryen was one of the eldest siblings of his two mothers and when he found out they would be having yet another child he was both excited and nervous. His baby brother, Egg, would have to navigate life through their crazy family so as any good brother would do he started creating video diaries to give him advice for the future.
Chapter Summary: When his mother goes into labor early Jace struggles to wrangle all his siblings together to get to the hospital and meet their little brother
Pairing: Alicent Hightower x Rhaenyra Targaryen, Jace Velaryon x Sara Snow, Cregan Stark x Helaena Targaryen
Warning: some language
Words: 5,262
A/N: This is high-key written like a sitcom and is Jace-centric (since he's Teddy in this fic), also muña means mother in High Valyrian
The house was mostly quiet for once. The only sound came from the TV, a humming signaled the beginning of the theme song. Rhaenyra turned up the volume enthusiastically. She glanced down at her bowl of strawberry ice and frowned. Taking the whipped cream topping in hand she added more until it was a mountain that buried the ice cream, only then was she satisfied. She took a spoonful and smiled.
Rhaenyra never felt fully comfortable when she was in her final trimester of pregnancy even when she had done it several times. However, to her, the best thing about being pregnant was that she could eat anything without her wife bringing up how “unhealthy” it was. She could say it was cravings and her wife moved on.
The screen lit up with the colors of her favorite fantasy series. Without hesitation, she took another spoonful. A sharp pain came from her abdomen.
“Ow”, she huffed. Her eyes went to her stomach. “All your brothers were easy, why aren’t you?”
She swallowed the ice cream and turned back to her TV. Her favorite family drama show was on. She had yet to catch up to the current season like her son had but with the rest of the kids out of the house, she could watch her show without having to worry about them walking into the awkward parts.
Another pain came from her abdomen. She gripped the remote tightly. She winced. Slowly, Rhaenyra turned off the TV and put down her plate. She could barely adjust to sitting on her own couch. Every time she would end up rolling. Gods she forgot how much she hated this feeling.
“Alicent”, Rhaenyra called.
The sound of boots clicking in the kitchen got her attention and before long, her wife walked into the living room.
“What is it?” Alicent asked.
“I’m going into labor”, Rhaenyra sighed.
Alicent’s eyes popped open. “What?! But you’re not due yet!”
“Well take that up with him.” Rhaenyra gestured at her stomach. “Unfortunately, I’m running on his time, not the doctor’s or mine apparently.”
Alicent scanned the couch for her purse. “Okay, okay”, panic edged in her voice. “A bit of a hiccup but it's fine.”
Alicent grabbed the purse which was thrown lazily on the floor. “Okay, I have our stuff here. Do you want me to bring you a robe and slippers?”
Rhaenyra bit in inside of her cheek as another round of pain resurfaced. “We don’t have time for that, my love.”
Alicent helped Rhaenyra to her feet. Rhaenyra threw on her sweater and casually walked toward the door with an anxious Alicent behind her.
Rhaenyra looked over her shoulder and then smirked. “Ready for baby number eight?”
Alicent was practically shaking. “Gods no, but let’s do this.”
—---------------------------
Jace wanted to throw his controller on the couch. He had lost another video game match with Cregan. His best friend was smiling but he was not. How after so many times playing had he not improved at all? He thought at least with the new combo he had, he thought he could get one victory over Cregan but nothing.
He rolled his eyes at the TV. “This is rigged.”
Cregan threw back his head and laughed. “Keep telling yourself that.”
“This is your game and console. I wouldn’t be surprised if you had done something.”
“I only play games, Jace, I’m not a tech wizard that’s your brother.”
“I bet he did help you.”
A ring broke through the conversation. Cregan picked up his phone but saw his screen was pitch black.
“Jace, I think it’s yours.”
Jace shuffled through his pocket and pulled out his phone. The word ‘Mom’ lit up the phone. He answered.
His face scrunched a bit in confusion. “Mom, what’s up?”
“Um”, he could hear the nervousness in his mom’s voice. “Your mother went into labor early.”
Jace sat up on the couch. “But I thought the baby wasn’t coming for a least like two weeks. Is Muña okay?”
“Yes. Yes. Your mother is okay.”
A scream came from the background. “Alicent, can you drive any fucking slower?!”
“I’m talking to Jace”, his mom said.
“Watch the road!”, his muña yelled.
“I’m trying to”, his mom responded in the calmest voice she could muster.
“You’re on your way to the hospital, right?” Jace asked.
“Yes, we are. Jace, I’m so sorry to ask this but can you please bring your siblings here? I can’t leave your mother alone.”
Jace nodded. “Yeah, of course. I’ll get bring them over as soon as possible.”
“Thank you, darling,” his mom said. With that, she hung up.
Jace had wanted to record a film from their short film, but it seemed that would have to wait. He turned toward his friend. “Cregan, I need to borrow your car, it’s for an emergency.”
Cregan sat up. “I heard everything your mom was screaming, let’s go.”
“Believe it or not that’s her calm.”
Cregan threw the car keys at Jace, who caught them with one hand. They got into the car and Jace turned on the engine. He glanced between himself and his friend at their uniforms, it was for their film, but he didn’t have time to change. Whatever.
“Do you know where you’re going?” Cregan asked.
Jace nodded. “Yup, theater rehearsal.”
The younger teen was practically speeding until they got to the parking lot of their local high school. It was a weekend so few cars were in the lot when Jace pulled into an empty space. He turned off the car and ran toward the auditorium, with Cregan close behind. The two opened the doors to the building. Inside were other teenagers dressed in costumes reading over a script. Jace scanned the group assembled.
“See 'em?” Cregan asked.
“No.”
Jace opened the doors to the stage. On top of the stage, he saw a couple rehearsing some overly dramatic monologue while staring into each other’s eyes. Behind them was a group of teenagers dressed as fairies with cheap plastic wings. In the corner of the stage, she saw a girl with light hair dressed as a tree.
“Helaena,” Jace called out.
The couple stopped monologuing. The guy looked annoyed. “I thought we locked that door.”
Jace smiled awkwardly. “Sorry to interrupt, family emergency.”
Helaena in her tree costume made her way down to the stairs. The closer she got the more Jace was struggling to not laugh at his sister’s odd costume. She looked as if she could barely move with her arms stuck at her sides where the trunk of the tree was.
“Jace, I’m at rehearsal”, Helaena reprimanded softly.
“I know. I know but it’s muña. She went into labor.”
Helaena’s eyes widened. “But I thought she wasn’t due yet.”
“She isn’t but the baby calling the shots here.”
Helaena nodded. “Okay, let me get out of this stupid costume. They can find another tree in the meantime.”
Jace helped Helaena unzip the back and she tossed off the tree costume. Underneath her costume though was a camo jumpsuit, supposedly to match the tree. Jace didn’t bother to bring this up. They raced back to the car. Jace jumped into the driver’s seat but found that Cregan was no longer in his passenger’s seat. The rearview mirror showed he was now in the backseat with his sister. Jace shook his head.
“Hel, do you know where everything else is?”
“Aegon and Daeron are at Ben Blackwood’s party”, Helaena admitted.
“Ben Blackwood is having a party today?” Jace asked.
“Yes, they didn’t want to tell mom and muña. You have to keep it a secret”, Helaena demanded.
“Fine. Fine.” Jace then groaned. “Crap. How are we going to find his house?”
Cregan leaned close to Jace. “He lives in Ravenhall.”
“How do you know that?” Jace inquired.
Cregan glanced to see if Helaena wasn’t paying attention. “I used to date his sister, Aly.”
Jace’s face scrunched together. “You’ve never brought this up.”
“It was a long time ago.”
Jace sighed then started the car and pulled out of the parking space. As he began driving, he saw Cregan lean closer to Helaena in the rearview mirror.
Cregan swallowed nervously. “So, are you a big theater person?”
“I like it, so I guess.”
“Cool. Um, what play were you doing?”
“A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, Helaena replied.
“Oh really? My teacher made me read that book for literature. It’s got a lot of freaky magic and stuff.”
Helaena smiled. “I know, right? I think that’s why I like it so much; it stands out from Shakespeare’s other work.”
Cregan smiled. “Yeah, it's awesome.”
Jace wished he could be anywhere else than inside this car and being forced to live through this conversation.
The neighborhood of Ravenhall was luckily close to where the school was. The security guard at the gate was nice and let them in once Jace said they were going to the Blackwood’s. The man asked if they were Brackens and Jace said no. He was confused about what was going on between the Brackens and Blackwoods but that was not the main objective. As Jace got closer to the house, he could see cars surrounding the house. The music from the backyard was playing loud enough that he could hear it from the front.
“You’d think for a house party, they’d be more lowkey about it.”
Helaena pointed at the fence, suddenly. “Look the gate is open.”
Jace nodded. “Come on let’s these two.”
The three of them slipped through the half-closed gate. When Helaena told him it was a party, Jace had not expected this. There was a bounce house beside the pool where children around the age of ten were playing. A clown was face painting a little kid, while another clown made balloon animals. A pile of presents was in the corner next to a large table with an ocean cake. A banner above spelled out ‘Happy Birthday Sam!’ in big blue bubble letters.
Jace stared at the scene before him. “Cregan?”
“Yeah?”
“This is the Blackwood house, right?”
“I swear it is.”
“Helaena?” Jace asked.
“I swear they said they were going to Ben Blackwood’s party”, Helaena replied.
“This is a kid’s party”, Jace pointed out.
“Um, Jace.” Cregan nudged his rib.
Jace turned and saw Aegon and Daeron sitting in beach chairs beside the pool. Their legs were sprawled out as they laid back on the chairs, juices in hand. Without a word, Jace walked over to them. His older brother, Aegon was quick to notice him.
“Hey, you were invited too?” Aegon asked.
Jace looked down at his two brothers. Both of them were wearing Hawaiian shirts with cargo pants and straw hats. Their accessories consisted of flip-flops, sunglasses, and a capri-sun in hand. Aegon even had sunscreen on his nose.
Jace sighed. “I don’t have the time to ask you why right, just know you need to come with us.”
“They’re cutting the cake soon, though”, Aegon complained.
“Muña’s having the baby”, Jace said.
Aegon sat up. “Wait, how?”
“I’ll explain in the car.”
The group hastily left through the open gate and shuffled back into Cregan’s car. Jace started the ignition and then turned back to the backseat.
“Okay, where’s Aemond?”
“At a friend’s house”, Daeron mentioned.
“Can you be more specific?” Jace asked.
“That girl he hangs out with, Alys Rivers,” Daeron added.
“Alright we need to hurry, mom and muña should have gotten to the hospital by now.” Jace began speeding down the road. His eyes occasionally went back to the mirror. He caught a look at Aegon and Daeron’s clothing again.
Jace cleared his throat. “So, are you guys going to explain why you were at a ten-year-old’s birthday party?”
Daeron chuckled while looking at Aegon. “This should be good. Go on tell him.”
Aegon buried his face behind his hands. “So, I heard a rumor that Ben Blackwood was going to have a party this weekend and Blackwood is one of the most popular guys at school…”
Jace asked. “And?”
“When we were in class, I commented that it sounded cool and that I could help out. He invited me and told me to bring my little brother so he could have fun too. I brought Daeron with me to the Hawaiian pool party he told me about. Turns out it's a party for his little brother, Samwell and when he told me to bring my little brother, he meant to bring Joffrey 'cause they go to the same school.”
Jace bit his hand to hold back a laugh. Unfortunately, a snort escaped.
Aegon rolled his eyes. “Yeah. Yeah. Real funny. Laugh it up.”
Daeron suddenly stood up from his seat. “Wait Jace, that’s her neighborhood, you’re passing by it!”
“Shit!” Jace gripped the wheel and abruptly turned it without warning.
Daeron who was standing, hit his head against the roof of the car. Aegon crashed into Daeron’s chest and then Helaena fell against Cregan. He immediately heard sounds of pain form the backseat. Jace was sure whatever he pulled was illegal, but he frankly didn’t care. However, he didn’t hear the end of it from his siblings until they arrived at the front door of Alys’ apartment.
Jace knocked on the front door, impatiently.
The person who answered was just as irritated as him. A guy wearing a long green cloak and riding boots glared at him. “What do you want?”
“Is Aemond here?” Jace almost growled.
The guy sneered. “We’re in the middle of something.”
Cregan stepped in front of Jace. “Let me handle this.”
The Stark was much taller than Jace despite the fact he was only a year older. His gray eyes bore down at the guy. “Either get Aemond or move out of the way.”
The guy was shaking when he turned over his shoulder. “Aemond.”
Aemond came around the corner. “Has the food arrived? Shall we finally feast?”
His older brother’s face fell when he saw them. Jace stared wide-eyed. Whatever annoyance he felt before was gone. His brother wore a long wig with an eye patch covering his right eye. He was wearing black pants, a black leather tunic, and a black leather trench coat. By his side was a fake sword attached to a belt. Aegon was the first to say something.
“Is that a wig?” He asked while slowly raising his phone to take a picture.
Aemond looked horrified. “What are you doing here?”
“Muña’s going into labor”, Jace explained.
Aemond stepped forward. “Now? Is she alright? Did mom get her to the hospital?”
“Yes, and we need to go”, Jace expressed.
Aemond nodded. “Okay.”
“But my Prince, we need you for the campaign”, the guy said.
Aegon was trying to keep in his laughter. “Prince?”
Aemond sighed. “Sorry, family emergency comes first.”
Jace knew they didn’t have time to continue this argument and closed the door on the guy.
“Car, now”, he directed his siblings.
They didn’t need to be told twice. Aemond rushed to the passenger’s side while everyone else went to the backseat again.
Jace took one look at his older brother. “Before we leave…a campaign?”
“And cosplay?” Daeron asked from behind.
“It’s not cosplay, it’s for an original character”, Aemond explained.
“So, an OC?” Daeron asked.
Aegon furrowed his brows. “How do you know what that is?”
Daeron crossed his arms. “No reason.”
“Is that from the fantasy show you and Muña watch?” Helaena asked with a smile.
Aemond avoided looking at them. “Yes.”
Jace smiled. “Hey, at least you’re hanging with friends.”
Aegon leaned back in his seat. “Yeah, wait till we tell mom and muña when we get to the hospital now that everyone’s here.”
Aemond glanced back at the mirror to take in those present. Then he looked at Jace. Slowly, Jace’s brown eyes widened.
“Oh my god, we’re still missing Luke and Joffrey!” Jace yelled.
Aemond stared in disbelief. “I thought you already got them.”
“Obviously not! Do you see them in the trunk?”
Aegon actually turned back to look inside the trunk. “Yup not there.”
Cregan looked at the Targaryen. “You thought I would put them in the trunk?”
“I mean saves space. Also, Luke deserves it depending on the day, especially when he’s always messing with the neighbor.”
Jace straightened up. “Wait. Wait. Say that again.”
“He’s always messing with the neighbor?”
Jace started the car. “I know where Luke is.”
“Terrorizing Ms. Velaryon, no doubt”, Aemond sighed.
Jace made it quickly to the house. He refused to get out of the car and Aemond opted to be the one to knock on the front door. From what Jace could see from across the street, their neighbor, Ms. Velaryon answered the door. Her usual scowl was on her features when she opened the door. Aemond said something before she went back inside though curiously left the door open. Not even a minute went by when she came out dragging Luke by the collar of his shirt. His younger brother had a smirk on the entire time as she seemed to complain to Aemond about Luke. Eventually, she closed the door and Aemond walked with Luke back to the car.
Jace lowered his window as they approached. “Do I even want to know?”
Aemond tilted his head. “Apparently, he broke in through her cat’s door and tried to ‘prank’ her by putting blue hair dye in one of her hats.”
Jace shifted to his younger brother. “Luke?”
“She said blue is her favorite color, I don’t see the problem.”
Jace looked at Aemond who was back inside the car. “He didn’t dye her hair, right?”
Aemond looked over his shoulder. “No. Ask him what happened instead.”
Jace turned at Luke. For the most part, his brother looked fine. His shirt was a bit wrinkled from where Ms. Velaryon grabbed his collar. However, his shoes were fine as was his baseball cap. Jace’s eyes narrowed. Luke’s curls weren’t sticking out of the cap. He couldn’t see his brother’s hair at all. It was all tucked inside.
“Luke, the cap.”
Slowly, his brother reached for the cap and took it off, revealing a head full of blue hair.
Aemond sighed. “Yup.”
“I might have mixed up the hats I was supposed to dye”, Luke elaborated.
Jace could only stare. A moment passed before he turned back to the road and shifted the gears into drive.
“Where’s Joff?” was all he felt like asking anymore.
“Mom mentioned that he was at a field day event”, Luke answered.
Jace picked up his phone and began to call someone as they made their way to the park where Joffrey was having his field day. As they approached the park, Jace saw the crowd gathered. He stepped out of the car and ran toward the group. The children were wearing different colors from their respective teams. Joffrey was sitting on a bench with a teenage girl beside him. His brother was wearing a jersey with the name Targaryen on it. However, dirt had gotten on the jersey, his shorts, shoes, and somehow his face.
Jace smiled at the girl. “Hey, thanks for helping me get Joffrey.”
The girl smiled in return. “You don’t have to worry about it, I didn’t mind especially with Rickon participating in this too.”
Jace glanced at her shirt. Team Stark was written in silver letters.
“You guys winning?”
“Well, sort of.”
“What do you mean? You’re always good at sports.”
“Sadly, the sign-up age was from seven to ten, so I missed the mark”, she joked. “Instead, I’m on water bottle and moral support duty.”
Jace chuckled. “Maybe next time I can come and be the moral support of the moral support?”
He wanted to smack himself. God that sounded so stupid.
She leaned close and gave him Joffrey’s backpack. For a second, their fingers touched. “Definitely would like the support next time.”
Jace nodded while he tried to ignore his heart beating in his ears. “Yeah, of course, I’ll see you soon, Sara.”
Sara gave a smile. “See you soon, Jace.”
Jace watched as she walked away by the time she left his sight, Jace realized Joffrey was halfway to the car. He rushed after his brother. Once he got into the car, Jace mentally counted the people inside the car. He had managed to get the last of his siblings. Now, they could go meet up with their mothers.
The hospital was busy when they got there. Jace, his siblings, and Cregan passed by dozens of patients in the waiting room. He walked up to the nurse in the front.
“We’re here to visit, Rhaenyra Targaryen. She’s having a baby”, Jace explained.
The nurse glanced at the seven other people who he was with. “Sorry, I can’t allow that many people inside of the room while she’s in labor.”
“But we’re her kids”, Jace insisted.
This time the nurse’s eyes bulged, and she again glanced at the large group. Jace recognized the surprise in her eyes. He was used to it, being in a big family and such. Now his muña was going to have an eighth.
“I’m sorry I still can’t allow all of you inside during the labor.”
“What about like two of us?” He asked.
“Okay but only two.”
Jace turned back to his siblings. “Guys I’m going to check up on Muña and Mom, Aemond are you going too?”
Aemond glanced at Joffrey who was standing in front of the vending machine. “Yeah, someone just keep an eye on him.”
Jace and Aemond went down the hallway and found the room fairly quickly. Jace opened the door. His muña was lying on a bed while wearing a hospital gown and his mom was sitting in a chair beside her. Upon hearing the door creak open they both turned to him and Aemond. His muña gave him her usual bright wide smile.
“Jace. Aemond. You’re both here.” She reached out her arms.
Jace hugged her followed by Aemond. His mom stood from her chair then captured both of them in a hug.
“Oh Gods, I’m so glad you made it. Are the rest of your siblings here too?” His mom asked.
“They’re in the waiting room”, Aemond said.
His muña rubbed her belly. “That’s good. That’s good.”
“How’s everything been?” Jace inquired.
“Um”, his mom fidgeted with her nail.
Jace’s stomach dropped. That was never a good sign.
“The doctor is running late”, his mom explained.
“What do you mean running late?” Jace asked. “I’ve been running around trying to get everyone here, if anything I should be considered running late. How is he running late?”
“There was an accident on the highway and he’s stuck in traffic”, his muña expressed wearily.
“Wait but if he’s not here what happens?” Aemond asked.
“The nurses will have to help”, his muña said.
Jace scoffed. “So, the guy who we’ve been seeing for nine months for this exact delivery isn’t even here?”
“Jace, it's fine I’ve done this before. You have one example here and the others in the waiting room. I’ll be fine.”
She winced for a moment. “Just wait outside, don’t worry about me.”
Jace begrudgingly went outside and Aemond closed the door behind them. When they walked back into the waiting room, Jace excused himself and went outside toward the vending machine. Outside was fairly empty. Jace wanted to hit the machine, shake it, anything. He couldn’t just stand there and be useless when something bad might happen to his muña.
He wanted the machine to just swallow his dollar and give nothing back. He wanted a reason to take out his anger on the machine. That didn’t happen. The machine dropped a bag of candy. Jace roughly pulled it out.
“Didn’t know you were that serious about candy.”
Jace turned around to see Cregan had followed him.
“Shouldn’t you be in the waiting room?” Jace asked.
“Shouldn’t you? It’s your family.”
Jace looked away. “I just needed a minute.”
“Something happen?”
“You shouldn’t worry about it. I already dragged you into enough as is.”
“Okay, first of all, drop the bullshit, Jace. I let you take my car and went to go with you. I wasn’t dragged into anything. Call me crazy but I like hanging out with you and your family. And also, as your future brother-in-law-”
Jace scoffed.
Cregan looked offended but only cleared his throat. “I repeat as your future brother-in-law, your family is going to be my family too, so they concern me too.”
Jace shook his head with an amused smile. “Right your future mother-in-laws.”
“Exactly. So, what’s up?”
Jace shifted his gaze. “The doctor’s running late.”
“How late?”
“Might not get here in time late.”
“Crap. Okay. Okay. What’s his name?”
“Dr. Gerardys. Why?”
“Jace, just let me handle it,” Cregan assured.
Jace made a face. “What are you going to do?”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“Everything you say makes me even more worried.”
Cregan put his hand on Jace’s shoulder. “Jace, for once let me help you.”
“Fine just don’t do anything like…illegal.”
“Says the one that made an illegal U-turn earlier.”
“That was a different scenario.”
Cregan rolled his eyes. “Sure.” His gray eyes shifted. “In the meantime, you might want to talk to Joff.”
“Why?”
Cregan gestured over past the vending machine. Joffrey sat alone in a seat, staring at his lap.
Jace nodded at Cregan. The two parted before Jace approached Joffrey. He sat beside his youngest sibling. Joff wouldn’t look at anything beside his lap, tough.
“Hey, what are you doing here by yourself?” Jace asked gently. “Everyone else is inside the waiting room.”
Joffrey kept his arms crossed. “Waiting for the baby, I know”, he said bitterly.
Jace immediately knew what was wrong. “You’re upset about the baby.”
“Why did Muña and Mom have another baby? We were just fine before. Now when they have a baby, they’ll only pay attention to him. Everyone else is always busy. Aegon likes to go out with his ‘cool’ friends, Helaena comes home late from her play stuff, Aemond tells me I wouldn’t understand his shows, Daeron does his martial arts and soccer every day, Luke is always planning some prank on Ms. Velaryon, and you’re out with Cregan making your films. With the baby, you’ll forget about me even more than you already do.”
Jace faced his brother. “Joff, that isn’t true. Look, if I’m being honest, I was caught off guard by the baby too. However, even if I’m a bit nervous, I know that I’ll love him just like I love you.”
Joffrey continued to pout.
“We don’t forget you, Joff. We just have our own things sometimes and can get caught up in them. But you’re still our little brother.”
“You won’t forget about me?”
“Never.”
“Even if I got third place in the field day today?”
“Hey, third place out of twenty isn’t bad.”
Joff finally smiled. “I won at tug of war with my team.”
“You did?”
“Yeah, I accidentally threw dirt at someone on the other team.”
Jace’s face scrunched together. “How do you accidentally throw dirt?”
“I mean I said it was an accident.”
Jace stared at his brother. “An accident?”
“Yeah. I also accidentally stepped on someone else’s foot.”
“I’m starting to think these aren’t accidents.”
Joffrey giggled. Jace just ruffled his dirty hair.
“Want to go back inside the waiting room?” Jace asked.
Joff nodded.
When they walked back to the waiting room, Jace sat next to Helaena while Joffrey rested his head on his shoulder. Eventually, Cregan came back inside from wherever he was and sat on the other side of Helaena. They waited in the office for fifteen minutes before the door to the waiting was slammed open. A man in a white lab coat hastily ran down the halls. Jace sat up. It was Dr. Gerardys.
Jace turned toward his brother, Aemond. “He’s here.”
Aemond sighed. “Thank the Gods.”
Jace leaned back into his chair. The stress left his body when he allowed himself to relax his muscles. Half an hour went by when a nurse called their last name. Jace gently awoke Joffrey, who had fallen asleep.
Helaena took Joffrey by the hand and walked ahead toward the hospital room. Aemond followed behind with Aegon and Daeron, whose flip-flops squeaked against the white glossy tiles. Luke walked just ahead of Jace and Cregan.
“I’m surprised the doctor got here so fast”, Jace commented to himself.
“A little bit of persuading helps move things along”, Cregan mused.
Jace turned to his best friend and narrowed his eyes. “What did you do?”
“A little bit of persuading.”
“What did you do? And should I be concerned that it was illegal?”
“I just grabbed his business card at the front desk and gave him a call.”
“What did you say on the call?”
“I may have said something along the lines of a car accident being the least of his concerns if he’s late.”
“You didn’t. Cregan, you didn’t.”
“Motivation helps.”
Jace rubbed his temple. “Oh, my Gods.”
“Jace, hurry”, Helaena called.
They shuffled inside the hospital room. His mom was sitting beside the bed with a smile on her features. She gestured for them to get close. His muña was sweaty with her hair slightly tied as she held a bundle in her arms. Her eyes gleamed when she saw them enter the room.
“Kids, come over here”, she beckoned. “Come meet your baby brother.”
They approached her side. Jace smiled when he saw him. The blue blanket did little to hide his face. His tiny cheeks were red and round. His eyes were closed shut as he slept. His fingers were wrapped around his muña’s gown. Small strands of light hair were on the top of his head.
“Do you have a name for him?” Jace asked softly.
“We were actually talking about that”, his mom replied.
His muña scoffed playfully. “We can think about that later, let’s get a picture of the whole family.”
His mom scanned the room. “Oh, Gods where did I put that camera?”
Cregan grabbed the camera from a seat. “I got it.”
His muña smiled gently. “Cregan, would it be alright if you took a picture?”
Cregan smiled. “Got you, Mrs. T.”
All of his siblings stood on both sides of his muña as she and his mom presented the baby in her arms.
Cregan grinned. “Say cheese.”
Jace smiled with his family. A flash went off.
“You guys look great”, Cregan commented as he looked at the photo.
The door creaked as a nurse came in. Jace watched the color slowly drain from her face as she saw them. Jace looked back at his family. He had nearly forgotten Aegon and Daeron’s beach attire, Aemond’s eye patch, Helaena’s camo jumpsuit, Luke’s blue hair, Joffrey’s dirtied appearance, and his and Cregan’s shirts from their film.
“Hi”, his mom greeted the nurse. “Would it be alright if you took a picture of all of us?” She looked at his friend. “Cregan, get in the photo.”
“Yes, ma’am.” Cregan rushed to take a spot by their side.
The nurse took the camera. Her face looked less than impressed with the family.
Joffrey was looking down at their news addition when he out loud he said, “He kind of looks like an egg. That’s what I’m going to call him, Egg.”
Jace gave an amused smile as the camera flashed.
The nurse sighed. “Good luck Egg, you’re going to need it.”

I stumbled upon a post here saying Joff is Jacegan’s son, and I also know about a fic where Viserys is Lucemond’s love child, which make me think. A lot. How about a modern au where Joff is Jace and Cregan’s son, Aegon the younger is Rhaenyra and Daemon’s son where Viserys Jr is Luke and Aemond’s son. I am messing up some age gap here.
Please don’t take this too seriously. It’s just a quick crack post!
When Joffrey was born
Jace 20
Cregan 21
Luke 18
Aemond 23
Daeron 13
Jace gave birth to Joff when he was 20. It was totally unexpected, truly, he didn’t even realize he was pregnant until like 4 months in. He was still trying to figure out who he really wanted, Cregan or Sara. (It is Cregan. It is Cregan from the start. Even Sara knows it, if her speech at Jace and Cregan’s wedding is anything to go by.) Jace panicked all through his pregnancy, thinking himself a failure to be knocked up while still in college. He ceased that line of thought the moment he got little Joff in his arms. All is well after that. (Or maybe not, because Jace worked nonstop after Joff’s birth, trying to make up for all the missing school work and graduate in time. Cregan had to feed him real food. Humans can’t survive solely on energy drinks, obviously. One would expect someone smart as Jace, a leading debater at the school debate team, should know better. But alas. Fortunately Cregan was there to help, and he had no intention of ever leaving Jace’s side.)
Luke beats his big brother’s record by giving birth at 18. (19, Luke agues, his water broke when celebrating his 19th nameday, so technically he was 19 when Viserys Jr was born.) Unlike Jace, his pregnancy was a carefully constructed plan to baby trap Aemond. And it worked. Luke is very proud of himself. Aemond can play hard to get for all he likes, but Luke knows his scaring uncle has feelings for him. Or else who would stare at someone like Aemond does every time their extended family is forced to get together? When Luke learned Aemond would go to Citadel School of Business for a master’s degree next year, he knew he had to act quickly. He pulled some strings (black mailed Aegon, to be precise) to get Aemond’s schedule and successfully stumbled upon a drunk Aemond outside a shady bar. The rest is history. (Luke shared his pregnancy with his mother Rhaenyra, who was expecting her first child with her uncle Daemon. They made so many uncle fucking jokes that Jace had to flee the room out of sheer terror. Luke laughed until Aemond picked him up from the sofa to go get a scheduled ultrasound. Aegon the younger was born 3 months prior to Viserys Jr.)
Joffrey always feels like a big brother to Aegon the younger and Viserys Jr growing up, although he is only one year older than them. He takes after Jace, apparently, to care for the little ones, but he also inherited Cregan’s protectiveness toward his family. So when he sees Aegon and Viserys being bullied by some shitface, he rushes to their rescue. Joff took several punches, sure, but he also kicked one of the bullies on the balls. (Cregan is so proud. Jace, not so much at first, but after he learns Joff only gets in a fight to protect Aegon and Viserys, he gets Joff a Switch as reward.) Joff is at least a head shorter than the bullies, so he slowly loses his ground and is about to be shoved into a stinking pond when his knight in shining armor arrives. Daeron is on his way back from tennis training when he saves Joff from drowning in a stinking pond worse than the sewers. Joff spits out disgusting water and kicks Daeron on the shin. To his credit, Joff doesn’t need protection, he can fucking defend himself thank you very much. (Language! Jace shouts.) Years later, when Daeron nervously asks Joff to go on a date with him, Joff barely spares him a glance as he says yes. Daeron is more nervous than he goes to a Grand Slam Final. He can’t be blamed. He’s asking his great-nephew (Oh god that sounds wrong) 13 years his junior to go on a date with him.
Later at a family dinner
Cregan: Look I will allow you to date my son only if you get your tennis player buddies to sign the autograph- (Jace throwing him death glare) Never. I mean I will never let you defile my precious little Joffrey.
Daeron: Come to think of it, I am only 13 years older than Joff while uncle Daemon is like 16 years older than Rhaenyra. No offense, uncle Daemon.
Daemon (sipping wine, looking smug): None taken, kid.
Luke: I know I am not the best person to say this-
Aemond: You are not.
Luke: Shut up.
Aemond: Make me.
Rhaenyra (ignoring the gross sound of kissing in the background): Joff, dear, just remember to use protection. I have some condoms in my drawer that you may like. I believe they are coke flavor.
Jace: MUM!
Daeron: Thank you sister, but I don't think it will be necessary. I won’t even hold Joff’s hands until his 16th nameday.
Jace: YOU WANT TO HOLD MY SON’S HANDS???
Luke (finally breaks the kiss but still sits on Aemond’s lap): Now I feel like we are not the sickest couple in this family anymore.
Aemond: I can be sick.
Jace: THIS IS NOT A COMPETITION!!
Joff (stealing Daeron’s desert while frantically poking at his Switch. Damn that dragon is hard to defeat)

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Multiple Main Pairings!

Spoilers ~ Tons!!
Masterpost ~ Here.
Beta Read/Edited ~ No (No Beta Lmao)
Word Count ~ 2k Words.
Chp Summary ~ Alicent tries to eat lemon cakes on her own to quell her sadness after speaking to her father. Vhagarhā Qo, who perfers oranges, is a child unlike any other the Queen has ever met, but she reminds Alicent of all her children; as if she mourns the idea of who they were and cannot fathom who they are now.
Chp 3 ~ Sweet Orange Tart, Sour Lemon Cake, Bitter Apple Turnover
Alicent had grown to enjoy the smell of lemon cake in her youth.
Now looking down at the sweet treat displayed on top of the serving table, Alicent breathed in the sweet citrus smell and refrained from gagging.
It was too sweet, not enough lemon present; the recipe had changed. Alicent favored granny smith apple turnovers, the bitter apple pleasant to her taste buds.
What followed in the wake of lemon cake at the red keep was what she really enjoyed.
The smell of wooden fire and sweet lemon followed the air wherever Rhaenyra Targaryen walked. None knew that the Princess had a breeze of brimstone on her skin after a day of dragon riding.
Alicent knew as the Princess curled under her arm and in her lap when they were frolicking kids in the Keep.
Meeting Rhaenyra had been the downfall of Alicent's life.
The Princess had involved her deeper into politics by proxy of her company, and Alicent resented the fact the Princess betrayed her trust.
That is why they do not speak, that is why Rhaenyra left Kings Landing to live at Dragonstone with her cowardly ways.
Picking up a lemon cake, she placed it over a small glass serving plate and bit in.
The crunch of the candied lemon on top invited her with a sweet tang; the sweetness being followed by an even sweeter soft cake that had icing dribbled on top.
The lemon cake was sweet by itself naturally. Alicent realized what was off, the candied lemon was too thick with melted sugar and it was canceling the natural sourness.
“They are quite sweet aren't they, Queen Alicent?” Alicent whirls around, her plate still in hand and lemon cake shifting with the haste of Alicent's movements.
The newcomer had a sweet bell-like voice that reminded Alicent of Helaena when she was younger.
The shy kindness is all Aemond – before the incident however. Alicent clears her head of the thoughts.
The Queen's hazel-green eyes first catch the ginger-orange of the girl's hair.
The boldly colored hair is thick like a Velaryon's. The Queen can tell despite the corkscrew curls being slicked back into a neat bun at the back of the girl's head.
Curls spill outside the bun elegantly as there are autumn-colored faux flower hairpins inside of her tresses.
The next thing the Queen notices is an expensive-looking gold circlet that wraps around the child's head.
The design is simple with a small gemstone that rests in the middle of the child's forehead.
A sign of royalty.
Alicent squints her eyes at the gem, the pink teardrop shaped stone glittering in the sunlight.
“Yes, Indeed. And you might be?” Alicent places her plate down on a space the serving table has.
She clasps her hands in front of herself as she takes in the child's brightly colored gown, trying to associate her with a region.
“Princess Vhagarhā Qo, of The Sweet Lotus Vale in Jhala,” The girl bows her head and curtseys to the Queen.
Alicent curtseys back out of respect.
She swallows a bit of her pride.
Alicent Hightower studied like no other within the Keep, always staying up to read her books and retain knowledge.
Alicent shakes away a memory of a blonde that comes to her mind, and covers it up with a tilt of her head.
She'd never heard of the Summers Isles before.
Alicent licks the bottom of her lip quickly as she attempts to store away and make note of the exotic name.
It sounded traditionally Valerian, with a twist of words at the end.
The girl's accent sounded like liquid amber; smooth and sweet as the common tongue escaped her mouth.
“If it pleases you Queen Alicent; you may call me Vhae Summers,” The girl's teeth are an unnaturally blinding white, the viper notices.
Without changing the expression on her face, she scrutinizes the child under her harsh gaze.
The child seemed unnaturally pure, like soft fallen snow that hadn't been stepped on.
Her marmalade colored dress was one of fall, with different brightly colored leaves and flowers stitched into the fine fabric.
Small fake flowers, made up of a sheer material alicent didn't recognize, started from the left side of where her ribs sat to make a sleeve.
The other sleeve was the same way with the sheer fake orange flowers covering her arms but it started from behind her on her back.
The Summers Isle had an elevated taste for fashion beyond anything Alicent had seen or studied.
The child looked truly regal as she stood covered up enough for the fall breeze.
Large golden hooped earrings, thick bangles, chunky rings with colorful gemstones, a gold necklace filled with different cut gems.
Whoever the child was, she came from money beyond Oldtown or the Lannisters.
Alicent quits her staring as she notices the child fiddling with her fingers.
Alicent blinks, rubbing her hands down the sides of her gown.
“Would you like to join me by the weirwood, Princess?” Her hands ball tightly into fists, the words escape her mouth faster than she can think.
She imagined repeating those words to one with silver-white gold hair and deep lilac eyes.
The child has light brown skin, a smooth nutty color with speckles of teak that splattered across her face and hands.
Another happy reaction is pulled from her heart-shaped face, displaying the pink of her gums and joyous smile on her thick lips.
“Of course! I would love to!” The girl's gown flows against the gentle breeze of autumn as she moves to link arms with Alicent.
Alicent blinks again in surprise at the gesture.
She can see a pair of knights at their station start to move before she lifts a hand to beckon them away.
The woman of forty and three shivers at the childish affection, unused to another person initiating wholesome skinship.
Vhae's dress is a long one, the expensive cotton garment brushes the floor with a gentle sway, breathable and moveable.
Swallowing a sigh of anxiousness, Alicent decides to speak first but rethinks her words before she speaks them.
“So Queen Alicent, anything exciting going on in King's Landing this month?” The child's other hand goes to grasp Alicent's hand, free of wounded flesh and cuticles nicely manicured by a servant.
The Summer child's nails are covered in nail varnish, a lively pink, with delicate leaf detailing in multiple different colors.
Alicent thinks to ask the girl of her home country, their fashions quite different from Westeros.
At the darker girl's question, Alicent's mind drifts to the battle of succession that will be held in court soon.
“Well, there is court being held in five days' time. And of course, the ladies of the realm are planning a charity event that will take place here on the twelfth moon,” Alicent's tone is a bore as she recites over the larger events outside of her small council activities.
“Oh, court? How exactly is your court held here? In my country, court is held with the Ladies of Judgement,” Alicent's eyebrows raise as she takes in women having a station of absolute power for themselves.
Clearing her throat she responds to the question diligently, “Here court is held in the Red Keep when lords in higher power petition it so. The King will usually handle such matters but the King is feeling unwell at the moment.”
The girl hums and the pair stop in front of the carved face weirwood.
Breaking away from the Queen's hold that seemingly tightened through their walk, she lifts a hand to the face of the tree hesitantly.
Alicent sees a past memory of Rhaenyra, white long hair staring back at her as she traced the face of the sacred Weirwood.
A flock of servants break her out of her trance as they pass under the open walkway of the gardens.
They bow respectfully with straight faces and go rigid when she lifts her hand for them to stay.
Vhagarhā is circling around the thick white tree, hand tracing the thick bark of the red leafed tree.
The girl has that wide smile again that makes the Green Queen reluctantly grin.
“Fetch us a spread for a picnic,” The Queen demands. She gives the servants a small quirk of a smile as she watches the girl no older than ten and five.
Turning back to the child, she lays backwards with her entire body laying on the lush padded grass. She has no care about her delicate dress getting dirty with Earth.
It reminds her of the young Princess, she reminds her of the young Princess.
Carefree and wild, taking to life like a duck in water or a dragon to fire.
Alicent represses a grimace to give the child a small tight-lipped smile.
Alicents nails start to dig into the flesh of her palms, indenting crescent moons into soft skin.
A hand pulls her out of her thoughts, and she retracts her nails from her flesh.
The Summers Isle child is marveling at the leaves as if it was the first time she's seen them before.
Only then does Alicent notice it.
She casts a glance at the child's eyes and catches a glimpse of purple.
Vhagarhā looks up at Alicent, her irises shining a pale lilac purple, almost white as if she were blind.
Near the child's pupils, a molten orange color swirls against her slitted purple, similar to a beasts.
Alicents eyes go wide, and she squeezes the foreign girl's hand in a panic; accidentally catching her attention.
“Oh, I do hope you guys have orange tarts! They are one of my favorite pastries,” She remarks with a questioning look on her face.
Rocking forward on the tips of her heels excitedly, she averts her gaze to the plethora of servants who lay out a picnic sheet and baskets of food.
The Green Queen goes steady, fear ebbing away from her as she analyzes the child's features once more.
Copper-orange hair with strings of white diamond laced between the curls, a trait of Old Valarian blood.
A button nose, small, but ethnic like a Velaryon's.
Her skin is a shade lighter than Laenors, a red undertone to the brown skin and freckles spread out all over her face.
A oval heart shaped face, similar to a celtigar, but with more fat on her cheeks rather than sharp and hollow.
Lilac swirling eyes with hints of coral and slitted pupils similar to a – Dragon.
Alicent knew nothing of the Summers Isles – but this child was special.
Vhagarhā didn't resemble Rhaenyra, she even didn't look like any Valyrian Alicent had ever seen.
Vhagarhā Qo is positively a stunning child.
One with features she cannot match to any region but of Old Valerian blood beyond the Targaryens.
Alicent wants to rip her hand away, and walk back to her solar but – Vhagarhā gives her a smile that brightens up the Keep, despite the sun out in full effect.
Vhagarhā is not Rhaenyra or one of her brood, she's a foreign child for the Sevens sake.
Vhagarhā was unnaturally stunning, but didnt have the sharp features of a Targaryen besides her eyes.
She was soft, pure.
Even with the eyes of a Dragon hidden within her pupils, her eyes were wide and inviting.
Alicent thought that she would always resent the classic aristocratic look of a Targaryen.
The purple eyes, and majestically stunning features beyond human understanding.
She thought she hated them, but that hate melted into sorrow when she saw her children's faces.
The child's soft way of speaking reminds her of Aemond as a child – sweet and kind before he lost his eye.
Her smile reminds Alicent of Aegon's previous sunny spirit before he drowned in his cups.
Her fascination is a mirror of Helaena as she discovers a new insect; before her nightmares and flinching away.
Alicent cannot even try and sic a trait of Daeron onto the child; she hardly remembers his face before he was whisked away from her to Oldtown.
Alicent didn't know this, but she needed someone to just be around. She was lonely even in the presence of her children – regardless If she made them turn out mad.
She didn't think so though, she was just ensuring their safety.
Any thought of that white haired lier makes Alicents stomach turn sick and her heart pound ferociously.
For the first time in many years, Alicent smiles, huffing out a laugh, “Of course sweetling, we have plenty.”

wip lucemond concept art + composition check based on Oskar Schindler’s The Germanic Warrior With [Roman] Helmet (1902) painting. Lucerys is kneeling. Aemond’s eyepatch (not shown) is supposed to be wrapped around his left forearm.
Tumblr media
“aemond cradles lucerys’ face in his hands and it feels gentler than he would have expected, gentler than he deserves. the pad of his finger thumbs over his lower lip and lucerys has never felt more breakable than in this moment. hands, lucerys thinks. they’re unbearable, powerful things. aemond knows this too, can feel it as he holds him. let go, says his eyes. aemond laughs. oh, silly boy. never.”

Thinking more about Jace & Daeron…. They were supposed to be different from the rest of their family…yet they ended up following their family’s example anyways.
From the moment of their birth, efforts were made to foster a positive relationship between the two boys. All so they could grow to be as close as brothers. In their lessons, at the training yard, at feasts and tourneys, they would always have to be together, by royal command. But it’s not enough, not when the lines have already been drawn between their families. The toxic influence of the Green vs Black factions left no room for love to exist there.
“It all goes back and back,” Tyrion thought, “to our mothers and fathers and theirs before them. We are puppets dancing on the strings of those who came before us, and one day our own children will take up our strings and dance in our steads.”

Hello! Can I request a yandere!Daeron the Daring x older!female!reader imagine? (because Alicent's sons love MILFs))) He has always been quiet, in the shadow of his older brothers, but he is still a dragon that could be angered🔥 so he fell in love with a caring reader. He thinks that the reader already loves him, but in reality his feelings are unrequited. And he is also jealous of the girl for the Velaryon brothers, because the reader's family adhered to the side of the blacks, and she knows the Velaryon boys from childhood, she was the ladies-in-waiting to Rhaenyra. (And maybe Jace even has feelings for her) I will be very grateful to you if you write on this request (sorry, my English is very bad)
your english was really good don't worry!!! also i kind of..... had so much fun with this.
Tumblr media
Daeron wasn't particularly fond of his half-sister or his bastard nephews. As the youngest Targaryen boy, he was easily hidden in the shadows of his brothers, not that his father had time for anyone who wasn't rhaenyra. So, when he took notice of you after you had been kind to him. he made sure to watch more.
You were his sister's lady-in-waiting. You didn't have a husband despite being past the marrying age. You were devoted to serving rhaenyra and supporting her. Your kindness knew no bounds. You were equally kind to everyone but you didn't help everyone pick out books. you were being extra kind to him. Did you think him worthy of your kindness?
That thought made his heart beat faster.
If he was jealous of his bastard nephews before, it only got worse when you were brought into the picture. It evolved into an incident where daeron, in a blind jealousy, ordered the cooks to put something jace was allergic to into jace's food. No one ever found out it was him but it gave him a sick sense of satisfaction.
He had been so sad to see you leave to dragonstone with his half-sister and her bastard sons and not long after he left to oldtown. He found himself sending you letters. Thanking you for your kindness, telling you how much he missed you.
His joy only increased once you responded and thus your correspondence began. You must love him, what other reason could there be to respond to his letters and tell him that you missed him as well. that you were sad you didn't get to say goodbye.
His fantasies only got worse. he thought about how you tasted, how your lips would feel, how red you would turn at the sight of him.
He made sure to mature himself for you. So, he could become your husband one day.
So, why was that fucking bastard boy clinging to you? Why were you not with him instead?
"My prince, Your mother must be worried about you. Off you go." You urged the young prince gently only making him hold you tighter before kissing your cheek and heading off.
You startled as Daeron called your name with happiness in his tone. His joy came back as your eyes brightened.
"My prince, you have returned." You greeted, bowing your head at him in respect.
Yes, he did return. For you.
Even if it takes everything, he'll beg his mother to let him marry you. Rhaenyra shouldn't mind losing a lady-in-waiting. You will be his. His wife.

“Jace's uncle, Prince Daeron Targaryen, was born soon afterwards. Trying to prevent any enmity (as existed between Rhaenyra & Alicent), Viserys ordered that Jacaerys and Daeron share a wet nurse until they were weaned, hoping that them being milk brothers would make a difference.”

how i think modern!aemond looks like
note: english is not my first language, im from brasil i speak pt br português brasileiro and im using the translator sometimes, sorry for my mistakes
lets goooo 😋
first off all, his family would remain a monarchy, maybe like danish royalty (i read somewhere that the Danish royals have more political power than the British royals or something like that, and i honestly cant think the Targaryens giving up any power that they could have) and here we DONT have incest (at least not the ones that would be shocking in our current society)!!!! read my thoughts below:
viserys didnt die yet and still being the king
daemon is viserys cousin so she can marry daemon with "no problem" and shes the heir of the iron throne
the line of succession to the throne would be: rhaenyra, jacaerys, lucerys, joffrey, aegon and viserys (idk whos the eldest), aegon, helaena, aemond and finally daeron
he knows he wont be king unless some catastrophe happens and kills his whole family but still a little bit jealous
aemond takes advantage of being the 9th in the line of succession, since he has very "few" spotlight on him, so he can live a normal life like all of us mere mortals
uses his prince title when needs something (that includes the girls 🤭)
think im done about the political part of his family so lets move on to physical appearance and hc about him and his relationship with family
aemond doesnt have long hair like in hotd, his hair is more like tom or billy (personally billy is my favourite)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
ewan smile is so pretty i cant 😭
def wear an eye patch bc dont have one eye, obviously he dont lost his eye on a fight about claiming a dragon, but maybe he fell on a shard of glass or lucerys pushed him into a sharp rock which caused the scar and pierce his eye (my poor boy 😓)
ATHLETIC BOY!!!!! im talking about both body and style, ewan practically only wears adidas and aemond being a mama's boy, coming from two rich families buys everything that is adidas clothing
and you guys see ewan in world on fire and his new photoshoot like bro his muscles are heavenly 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 (só uma chance ewan, pfv 😭
Tumblr media
aemond smokes A LOT, i mean aegon get drunk every week (if he doesnt do it every day 🤷🏻) and helaena has her bugs collection, so why he cant do something he likes and help him to destress?
for a 100% sure hes alicents favorite boy and daerons favorite brother
daeron probably just thinks his brother is the best in the world, the bravest, the most beautiful and everything a child can think of their big brother (he also thinks the scar on aemonds eye is really cool and when he was a child, like 4 years, he took one of his eye patches and put it to look like aemond
and about alicent, just look at their hair in hotd, those are the most hydrated hair of the entire series!!! ok joke, aemond was a quiet child, never gave her much trouble and was the first child she could call "her own child"
aegon would be to the realm if something happened to rhaenyra before she sire heirs and we all know how his temper is ☠️
helaena in my hc is autistic, some autistic people dont like other people touching them and helaena would be one these
as a child, she would reject alicents hugs and affections, in addition to being very difficult to communicate with her
contrary to all that, aemond was a perfect child, he would be glued to alicent 24/7, wanting her hugs, kisses and affection, his mothers affection.
she was his confidant when he was suffering and crying, she helped him with the school activities that he had difficulty, she was the one who stayed by his side in the hospital when he lost his eye
and aemond returned all the love his mother gave to him taking care of her and being the best at everything he did, just to make her proud of him
its aemond whos sitting next to alicent when she cries worried about being attracted to women and wipe her tears, she feels guilty for doing something that is said to be "wrong" in her religion (alicent para meninas, rhaenyra is her girlfriend canon
now leaving the sad mood aside lets go to more aemond's hc + dating hc
vhagar is aemonds lizard and she has a HUGE terrarium in his room with everything and more a lizard needs.
he is studying politics, international relations, history or philosophy in college
probably his girlfriend (me and you obvious) would be on one of these classes too or something like that
the BEST boyfriend ever, he is super respectful and treats his girlfriend like the princess she will be in the future when they get married
romantic dates would be to fancy places that nobles frequent, like operas and ballet but aemond would also take you to a museum, library, dinner at a super expensive restaurant you like and of course, skiing in the swiss alps
if you like a sport or did one, he would be super supportive and take you to every competition you wanted to see/gonna compete in
aemond would spoil you no matter if you have money or not
have you seen a prada bag online? it will be in your hands the next morning
did you make a comment of a swarovski necklace you saw at the mall? he bought the necklace and one more set of jewelry
are you undecided whether to buy a Chanel or Dior perfume? no problem, the two perfumes will be on your table when you get home
aemond would be very insecure about his scar and eye, and really wouldnt think himself worthy of you
but you are here with him to tell him how important he is to you, how handsome he is and how much you love him, when he heard you say that, all his insecurities would go away
and he absolutely LOVES that you touch his hair, massage, wash his hair and make mini braids on it
anything you do he loves 💗

Agony & Amor Chapter 1
Based off a University prompt- Harry Potter AU
Rhaena was conflicted about going back to Hogwarts. She sat on the train ride to the castle awaiting what she felt like was the peak of her anxiety. Or it could be the start of a great rekindling.
This would be her 3rd year and the previous two were just decent enough. It wasn’t the amazing experience she thought it would be based off the bragging and stories she’d heard from her older cousins. The sorting hat barely touched her head when it immediately sorted her into House Hufflepuff.
She knew the stigma associated with the house and knew what the consequences were. She should have known something like that was coming based off her life’s track record so far. The unwritten rule in their world being that only outcast and rejects were placed there. Hufflepuff was the house known for taking in students that didn’t qualify for the more prominent houses.
The whispers came because Rhaena, a Targaryen, didn’t make it into Gryffindor or Slytherin. Being one of the last remaining pure-blooded families, they were known for their success and dominated both athletically and academically. The family was extremely competitive and congratulated the kids on their house acceptance. All except Rhaena who received nods and forced smiles when they heard what house she was placed in.
Daeron was in the same year as her. He opted out of being an athlete and instead excelled with his intelligence, other students bowing to him since he started selling the answers to quizzes. He made it into Gryffindor and now spent most of his time with Jace and Baela.
Those two had also been more fortunate than Rhaena. They were one year older than her and became the crème de la crème of Gryffindor. It was even worse that she nearly failed her Intro to Valyrian class, having been the only one of her siblings to not learn the language in her youth.
Baela and Jace got their wands at an early age and were star athletes in Quidditch. Jace even won awards for some of his achievements and started "helping” Baela with her wand abilities. Rhaena noticed though, most of this tutoring of his actually turned out to be them making out in the corner of the common rooms.
Rhaena was glad for them. Despite everything they had been through, they were both resilient and happy. Jace had always been there for them when the girls lost their mother Laena. He had lost both his parents and brothers in attacks by the dark lord himself. Rumors still circled that Jace wasn’t actually pureblood like his stepsisters since he lacked their notorious silver hair.
Rhaena felt as if her other disappointments weren’t enough, she’d been cursed with a gentle temperament. She knew her father had hoped she’d be more like her mother and her sister. Baela was bold. Always speaking up for herself. Just like Jace, she never avoided a challenge.
They had practically raised themselves the past couple years, all 3 of them in the huge manor with servants and the occasional pop in from the girls’ father. The wizarding world branded him The Rouge Auror. He was always working, infamous, and took his job a little too seriously even surpassing Mad-Eye Moody. He was either killing dark wizards or treating them so brutally they tried to file complaints with the Ministry once they got into Azkaban.
Every now and then he would take leave and go to Hogwarts to watch the games, glad that his kids were winning. He never cheered though, and instead watched with a smug face. Rhaena assumed it was because he was in Slytherin while attending school and was too proud to cheer for Gryffindor. She wasn’t sure whether to cheer or mimic his casualness when he sat beside her.
Speaking of Slytherin, Rhaena suddenly found herself trying not to think of HIM. The boy who she thought of as her ‘beloved’ cousin. Aemond was the only family member of their generation to make it into Slytherin. He was proud of himself, proud being an understatement as she remembered him boasting about it during the summer before Jace and Baela went to school.
They had a precarious relationship. They had grown up close, closer than anyone in their family and they were the only kids without wands. While Aegon was blowing things up and the other kids were practicing with their wands, those two spent their time distracting themselves. Anything that could take their minds off of feeling left out, but they never wanted to acknowledge that. Reading history books in the library, sneaking away to try out new candy shops in Hogsmeade, and laying under the covers telling scary stories.
When Aegon used his wand to turn Aemond’s hair a neon orange, Rhaena had comforted him in his humiliation and begged a giggling Baela to change his hair back. When Rhaena got left behind while her siblings accompanied her father on his work assignments, Aemond would come over to the manor and spend the day with her. They would laugh reading the angry letters her grandparents were sending her father. Apparently, they disapproved of his parenting style.
She never saw it coming, but all good things came to an end.
They started to grow apart when the older boy had gone to Hogwarts before her and finally gotten his wand. She thought it wouldn’t be a big deal, the little distance between them. Since his father was a governor at the Ministry he couldn’t stay away forever. She wrote letters to him and as his school year went on, she received less and less responding owls.
Eventually, he came back for the summer very different from the sometimes solemn and silly boy she could be herself with. He had grown a little in height and his hair was now shoulder length. But the change that really shocked Rhaena was his demeanor towards her. He was colder and business like, as if talking to this younger child without a wand was beneath him. From then on, he started to spend more time with his own siblings instead of her and eventually, they stopped talking all together.
It was made even worse when one Christmas ended with her father and his mother having a shouting match and hurling insults at each other. The words “whore” and “cunt” echoed through the walls. Their separation growing larger every time Jace and Aegon got into a fight with each other.
Rhaena didn’t know what to do with her new loneliness. She should have known of course, eventually they would grow up. He was growing into the perfect Targaryen man, and she was still just the wandless girl. Of course, he started ignoring her at family events. She wouldn't dare go to Baela’s chambers to bother her, afraid of walking in on her and Jace again. Daeron was the same age, but he had a habit of disappearing for long periods of time. Rhaena decided it was best to continue doing what she had gotten used to doing, exist quietly and not upset the order the things.
She occasionally thought about how she must have been a dark wizard in her past life, and this isolation was her god’s punishment.
Aemond was so brilliant in his studies that he was known as the best potion maker, even writing instructions that were more accurate than his own textbooks. He was an amazing Quidditch player and not surprising to anyone, the wizarding world both fell in love and became slightly terrified of him. Rhaena had heard the recently graduated Aegon tell stories of him being cheered on by classmates when he performed spells with his Defense Against the Dark Arts professor Cole.
Eventually, he had been invited to be a student teacher at Ilvermorny to help their failing students and he was finally returning home after 2 years. Rhaena wanted to be either nervous or excited, but she reminded herself to stay calm. She could finally reunite with her only close friend and she wanted to get back what they had. She loved her entire family and knew how blessed she was to have her siblings so close in age. For her though, with Aemond it was different.
This would be his last year, so she had to make the most of it.
After school, he’ll probably be busy doing adult things and won't have time for me.
Rhaena thought hard, listing everything she’d done to prepare herself. She had her wand for 2 years now and tried to learn new spells all summer to impress him. She closed her eyes and giggled to herself that she’s supposed to be doing all of this for her professors, not for Aemond.
They could attend games together. They could finally show each other tricks they picked up over the years. She could sneak him into the girl's bathroom and introduce him to the weird ghost. She couldn’t wait to tell him all about the moment she finally got her wand from Ollivander’s.
Baela noticed her sister sitting with her eyes closed when she approached.
“Rhaena, the train stopped come on.” Baela stood with her minimalist single pastel green suitcase.
Here we go, Rhaena thought to herself as she started shrinking inward internally.
She didn’t realize how she was barely breathing while rambling with her anticipations. She took a deep breathe, grabbed her bags, and slinked off the train.
