I'm a big fan of Cregan looking like Harwin theories because

1. Hello Jace's daddy issues making him fall for a dude looking like his papa hehehe. Jace looking for his dead father in every man he meets finding only disappointment after disappointment.. and then to find Cregan, to find this wolf born from the same First Men blood as Harwin looking like he could be his twin? Something about Cregan seeing his little brother in Jace and Jace seeing his father in Cregan makes me go feral.

2. It makes Cregan executing Larys so much more poetic. Last thing Larys seeing being a face resembling his older brother who loved him so much.. Harwin who adored Larys, who was so protective and couldn't stand anyone being rude to his little brother, who was perhaps one of the few people who loved Larys genuinely and without prejudice.. only to get burnt alive by him. And it's like Harwin himself is reading out Larys's judgement and Larys doesn't see a wolf, but a ghost that somewhere.. he really missed.

was reading f&b and when i came across the cregan and aegon iii drawing this immediately popped into my head. sorry.

Guys... What if we don't actually get Jacegan canon... Like I've been so used to the idea in my mind but now that the season is getting closer I'm suddenly thinking about how it might not happen at all 😭

I have this headcanon that Cregan didn't give two shits about the Blacks or the Greens or anything like that. He didn't come for that.

He came for little Aegon.

He considered taking little Aegon back to Winterfell with him, and just saying "fuck it" to everything else. Let whoever's left figure out who to stick on the throne, or burn it down for all he cared.

I like to think that that was the oath he made to Jace. Not about fighting for Rhaenyra or even Jace himself. He promised to protect Jace's beloved baby brothers. And at that moment, Viserys was thought dead and little Aegon was all that was left. So he kept that promise. He made sure Aegon was okay and that he would live.

And he did.
