I want to brainwash you into loving me forever by @hangmanbradshaw, or IWTBY for short, is a NFL au where Jake is a quarterback for The Giants and Bradley is a restaurant owner. When pics of Jake kissing a man in a club are about to get leaked by a tabloid, jake’s manager, that just so happens to be Mav, talks to the man in the picture, that just so happens to be his godson Bradley, and asks if he would pretend to be Jake’s boyfriend because it would make it easier for him to come out if he’s in a relationship. There’s a lot more to it, the story also deals with homophobia from parents, feelings of not being lovable and found family. It’s soo good and I’ll recommend it to anyone that’s into hangster

Ahhh this is the second request for this fic! Obviously a popular one 🥰 Wow I'd love to see an AU where Mav, Goose and Carole are all together and "grown up" so that's such a fun addition. Also love a fake dating story, who doesn't!

What work are you most proud of (regardless of kudos/hits)? - as you know, i looove fever, i think i will always be proud of fever. and limits, just for how long it is/is going to be/where it's going to go! and just gonna sneak the lil outsider pov cheating fic in here because that one was oddly so satisfying to write and i'm so glad with how it turned out, hah. but for the most: fever!

6. Favorite title you used - hm. when bradley falls in love (goose & carole's version) was probably the quickest i've ever picked a title, otherwise, the pierced nip series title is hilarious to me.

16. What’s your most common “Additional Tags” tag? - Bradley Bradshaw is a Tits Man & Jake "Hangman" Seresin Needs a Hug. do i have a niche?

18. The character that gave you the most trouble writing this year? - hm, maybe goose in the iwtby companion piece -- carole's voice, i found pretty easily, but goose took a little wrangling. plus the pressure of it being a character i don't really write in someone else's universe probably made that a bit more difficult.

2. What’s your total AO3 word count? 75,042 (writing this after seeing yours was humbling)

14. What’s your all time favorite ship? jake/bradley right now! took a fandom break for a long while, but was definitely a deancas girl for a while, also i have read a large chunk of "the man from uncle" illya kuryakin/napoleon solo fic, i'm not sorry.

15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will? ahhh there's a few i am afraid i have preemptively lost steam before even starting but i am not giving up (yet)! there's a reverse-hanahaki-disease jake/bradley that got riffed on discord that i really want to write.

16. What are your writing strengths? idk maybe thought spiraling and angst?

17. What are your writing weaknesses? keeping things short/to the point hahaha

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic? fine with it, but i do judge the google translate options from french when i read it (sorry)

19. First fandom you wrote for? probably supernatural or harry potter, i can't remember

20. Favorite fic you’ve written? fever is definitely my fav, both 'cause it's the first thing i wrote in a long time and kinda dragged me back into fandom, and because i love me some self-deprecating introspective character studies. limits might take this place when i finish it!
