also ok maybe had a weird little freak moment yesterday :/ i was with lydia and needed to eat my godawful shitass sushi before going to the library so anyway who do i spot but the roommate with some random guy naturally and im like lydia pause i need to be a stalker but so casually for just like a sec. (this is in a downstairs like cafe/hallway/elevators area) so i stall and then we go to check for a free room to sit in and when there r ppl in it we just go back near the cafe area and theyre over in this little. alcove. of a sitting area. lounging. and im so normal and rlly naturally glanced over a couple times hoping to god the guy didnt see me cause luckily roommate was faced away. anyway. but lydias screenaging it up so im just sitting there awkwardly. and i have to walk past them at one point to get soy sauce to drown the sushi in and maybe that made me look like a weird little stalker too. well again this is if the guy even knows who i am and prob not so whatever its like fine. but like yeah and then i def saw them getting up and then on the elevator to leave so i think my skittish little creature tendencies scared off the vibe from across the room even... and i didnt just wave like a normal person bc i wasnt sure they saw me but we've spotted each other at much greater distances there's simply no way. i was treating them like what the kids call an 'opp' kinda... me when im an anxious little beast...

#its crazy how much easier it is to do things when youre not completely miserable lol #this past week has been weird bc ive felt really really good and like normal in a way thats kinds unfathomable #im hoping its the medication but my mood was already on an upward tilt and i was told it would take like 6 weeks for the meds to work #property but like ive been sleeping way more than usual. and by that i literally just mean 8hrs a night lol which is weird for me #like that never ever ever happens multiple days in a row. so idk. when i feel better it makes the 0cd way easier to manage as well #and im just generally not as anxious. on the more worrisome side i kinda just give less of a fuck so like i have an exam im not ready for #Tuesday and im just kinda like hm fuck that lol. ill go thru lil fluctuations of having a lot of energy too #like: i could run around in circles rn. i dont have to but i could. like yesterday i was out with friends and i was like bouncing up and #down while standing and rocking from side to side while sitting. which i kinda do anyway while in crowds but it was more to expend energy #last night i also got like 5hrs of sleep. so like maaaaybe ive been on the bleeding edge of mood elevation but for the most part it just #feels good and not destructive. like if i felt like this all the time that would b fantastic. its like oh so this is y ppl dont long to b #put out of their misery lol. depression? who? i dont kno her. sounds fake. but as soon as i fucking say that ill b fucking slapped back #down to earth. ugh. annoying. no emotional object permanence. i hope its the meds. if this is the person i am under layers of misery then #that is fucking so insane. we shall see. im curious to hear what the psychiatrist thinks of my brain when i follow up with her #i gave her my full dys1exia assessment which gives a pretty good picture of how my head functions. oh fuck i bet i would do waaaayyy better #on thise test if i took it in this state of mind. but anyway she has that on top of like 3 assessment sheets i filled out #dispite everything i still want someone to categorize me into a discreet box. tell me doc. am i really bip0lar? really really?#ur sure??? like 1000% sure bc my brain wont let me accept that unless its beyond a reasonable doubt. i just doesn't seem that serious.#i mean. it is but like ya kno. its not that bad. ay. this glob of mush behind my eyes runs me in circles #but for now thats ok bc i feel like i could run up a mountain or punch someone in the face lol #unrelated

wait hold on now I am genuinely curious: Why is D-Sides your favourite Gorillaz album? I never vibed with it myself so I am interested in hearing what you like about it that I'm missing out on.

so, i haven't listened to Gorillaz in a long while, nor do i tend to listen to music that actively these days, but i re-listened to the entire album, side 1 and side 2, to try and come up with a reason why i like it so much. i do want to preface and say, yeah, the album (side 1 atleast) is very "plain", there's not a whole lot going on, nor are there any guest artists on any of the songs.

but in listening to the album again, a few things kinda appear in my brain regarding the album. one is that it brings back a set of memories of taking trips to and from Ohio to live with my mother and step-father during a few breaks between high school, and how a lot of the songs in the album i remember heavily listening to while trying to sleep in the back of their car (i'm 6'2", and sleeping horizontally in the back of a moderately small car was. not great). i had the main 6 albums before Humanz installed to my kindle, since Humanz hadn't come out yet as these trips were between... 2014 and 2016. i mainly remember hearing D-Sides the most i feel on those trips, whether it be intentional, or my sleep patterns would have me looping back around to D-Sides... that or i mostly started with D-Sides at the beginning of those trips.

another thing i'm kinda thinking about after having re-listened to the album is how much side 1 kinda reminds me of Boe, in terms of the vibes; there's a lot of somber vibes i get from some songs that fits well for him (Hong Kong and Spitting Out the Demons both being notable songs that remind me of Boe himself, and also of those long trips). side 2 on the other hand, it's remixes remind me a lot of the Sims 2, specifically the console version, as i associate a lot of Sims 2 with it's console selection of music... which is mostly a more heavy focus on the electronic tracks from the PC version; a lot of the remixes feel like something i could hear playing on the radio while i'm controlling my sim around and doing tasks.

last thing, maybe, is that i never hear folks refer to D-Sides as one of their favourites, so maybe that's why i have it as mine. out of respect perhaps.

For all my mutuals who got out of For Honor while they still could I'm envious of you bc rn the balancing is in a state in which Tiandi (agile, dodge-focused vanguard with a relatively smallish sword by this game's standards) does roughly same amount of damage per hit as Highlander (one of the slowest characters in the game, who wields the biggest, heaviest weapon of the entire cast)

#Highlander's offensive stance lights do less damage than Tiandi's neutral ones #Tiandi's top heavy does literally 3 less damage #than Highlander's oversized claymore slamming all its weight down on you #Tiandi's chain heavies do literally 1 point less damage #than Highlander #who's supposed to be a ''Slow But Big Damage'' character #vs Tiandi who is not only considerably faster but also has more health #and like #a move speed that doesn't make you feel like a snail with a sword #and that dodge move with a ridiculous amount of i-frames #and undodgeables #and can actually get a heavy off a guardbreak #and is just generally faster tbh #the absolute state of For Honor's balancing #it sure is something rn lmao #and don't even get me started on the other vanguards compared to HL dude #It's the same with any of them I think #Except warmonger I think #who's damage is bizarrely low compared to the other vanguards #I GUESS it's offset by the bleed but it was the same before she had the bleed so idk man #it's such an ordeal #Pun's text Posts

i'm dropping a list of some of my muses bedroom preferences. if you wanna tl;dr; it they're all switches with subtle roles they fall more familiar to. MINORS DNI.

ikki: top / dominant is the life he has led in his years of experience, many girls like the idea of him being absolutely obsessed but the reality is he's the type of character who has a massive praise k*nk, you tell him he's beautiful and show it with your actions he'll be literal putty in your hands. he'd be an insanely good service top and i don't want to hear anyone saying no.

sawa: top / ? now like, hear me out when i say top because ultimately sawa is the type to want to treat her partner to the world. even if she was to bottom, she would be the one to sing their absolute praises and just wish to give them all the love in the world. she's extremely affectionate, and won't let anyone leave having had a bad time.

shin: bottom / submissive in a sense, especially in his relationship. he's into the idea of being treated a whole damn lot after everything that has happened in his life. he has tried both being a top and more dominant, and he enjoys it when he does, but there's something extra perfect at being able to let himself go at that point, too.

toma: top / dominant. the thing is he's not rough at all, and if his partner expressed interest in exploring the other way round, he'd find himself too besotted to even think about saying no. he really enjoys it, as long as he can have his one by his side.

kei: is either a top / dominant or power bottom, because kei bottoming for someone means he'll be a massive pain and probably manage to manipulate some control back before the situation go out of hand. despite his usual easygoing nature, in bed he can certainly be the type to have a stern voice. he's pretty commanding, likewise.

yuzuru: moooost likely a top, but works super well into bottoming for the ones he grows to love and care for. as an officer, a lot of his relationships allow him to revel in his need for control, but in other parts of life, when he gives such a wide part of himself away, he could very easily give way to the object of his affection.

kageyuki: ???? - all his sexual experiences have been the typical affairs that have had him in a top role, and only at 29 years old, when he discovers his freedom, does he come to terms with an experience outside of that. he's open because he is so open to exploring everything new with his partner, in a much more explicit role too. if they want him to do one thing, he will. he's awfully unfair to his partner, because his observations will ensure he knows their weakness either way, but at the same time leaves his own so open for the new pleasure too.

aiji: top, for definite, but definitely falls into the whole service / submissive top role when in the right situation. he's a little inexperienced in what people can do while making love, but he finds himself willing to learn and perhaps even find out, given the circumstances he is taught them.

lucifer: top / dominant / sadistic for the most of his relationships, despite his attitude at some points, he ends up relishing in what may be having control over another persons pleasure and pain in particular. despite this, makes an amazingly great power bottom, and is happy to let his partner take the reigns to completely bottom if they so dare. behind asmodeus, along with satan, he is definitely one of the most experimental / lustful demons i have.

mammon: service top or dominant top. cooould bottom if he knew it would make his partner happy, because he'd give up the pride for that. his partner is his treasure, and he refuses to have them treated in any other manner. he pampers his partners, he will turn them into pillow princess'. man will devote himself to them if you let him. at the same time, treat him well and they will get a completely welcomed but new side of him all together ...

satan: usually dominant / top but actually part times very frequently in being the bottom only when he feels like being an absolute menace to his partner. also after asmodeus is one of the most experimental / lustful demons i have. whereas lucifer will drop it into private, formal conversations, he will be the one texting or telling them in public, running a hand across their thigh under the table until they come undone in his hands. it's up to you if you want to take it further, or give him a run for his money for such actions in the night.

asmo. switch. asmo is simply just dtf. he wants to explore every possible position with his partner, and them enjoying it is his favourite place.

beel: service! top! loving and cherishing your partner? he's so big into telling you how amazing they are for him, how much it means to have them by his side. he's playful enough to let you take the reins, and find the enjoyment of being taught just how to make the one who means the most to him feel just right. after enough experience, he'll be sure to do it all by himself as he tells them they can let themselves go for him.

belphie: power bottom / bottom, but has a sadistic enough streak that he will play the dominant role for his partner once he has enough energy for it. his dream role would be to be someones pillow princess, but also he's aware that sometimes a partner won't know exactly what he needs, and sometimes he has a streak bold enough to let him wish to push further. if his partner was looking to explore any further but was worried about physical consequences, he's more than up for exploring in dreamscapes with them instead.

diavolo: dominant! ... unless with the right person, then diavolo is definitely a strong bottom too. he likes to explore new things with his partners and therefore finds it such a fun time to learn about human customs and all the things he can do with them in the long run. he's got a slight masochistic streak, and good puppy-eyes to boot ... it makes it difficult for him not to explore both sides of the relationship when he can, too.

barbatos: dominant, mainly power bottom. from what canon has shown us he has a masochistic streak, and he likes to give his partners a belief that they do have a sense of control over him before that perfect butler persona breaks and he shows them the truth. honestly, though, part of him would enjoy letting go and letting someone serve him without instructions, just once ... but he has to lead to that, and have a relationship deep enough so that they can share that trust.

simeon: power bottom or dominant top again, but slips into the other role easier than my other muses would. simeon likes surprising his partner the most, and letting them see a side of an angel they wouldn't expect at all. he can't help it, really, he enjoys it a lot.

solomon: dominant / top. it's what he's known his entire life, but is the worst tease about it the entire time. he will always tease his partner in public and act innocent the entire time it happens, before whispering something in their ear to get them riled up. despite popular belief, however, solomon is close to his demons - many of whom he's held fwb dynamics with and has explored a rather submissive side to. he does enjoy it, on occasion, and will be happy to follow if his partner so wishes.

thirteen: similar to eriko. she screams topping unless the person she is with she completely trusts.

raphael: exploring, actually. he's unsure the more he considers it.

liliana: bottom! ... in some routes she leans more into a rather power bottom type dynamic but at the same time i think she finds herself happier this way? there's always something appreciative about being treated like this.

dante: top / dominant. a very traditional gentlemans gentleman, he knows no different and understands its the position that he will uphold his entire life ... not that he doesn't enjoy it, of course, he has a streak of his own that he likes to keep behind somewhat closed doors. but given the right partner, and situation, his mind might slip to trying something else, too.

nicola: top / dominant ... but partakes a lot in being a service top / will let the occasional partner top him entirely. it's all about playing a game to nicola, much rather freer than his own cousin is, because when he loves someone, it's all about the keeping them by his side. he likes to pamper, and be pampered, in ways both he and the one he loves may not expect in the long run.

oliver: power bottom / bottom. i don't take constructive criticism, his job and boss are incredibly stressful and this man deserves to be pampered, to have something done for him when in the bedroom.

gilbert: dominant / top or a service top. he could bottom, on rare occasion where he gets drunk, but he's a pamperer by nature ... one of the ones who just wants his partner to feel good, to pamper and to spoil them. as long as theres a blush on their cheeks, a smile on their face and hes achieved the highest respect. he's happy.

yang: top. the only muse of mine i can't imagine a bottom under any circumstance rip.
