THE MR. FUSSY A BITCH MASTERPOST

I essentially remade the Mr. Rude apologism masterpost but with Mr. Fussy this time, in an attempt to see whether my newfound disliking of Mr. Fussy is justified or not. I've watched every single Mr. Fussy segment and determined whether he's an asshole or not, simple as that.

Season 1

Mr. Fussy is in 42 episodes in Season 1.

In 8 of these episodes does he do something wrong.

Season 2

Mr. Fussy is in 39 episodes in Season 2.

In 9 of these episodes does he do something wrong.

Conclusions

In total, Mr. Fussy did something wrong in 17 out of the 81 segments he's in, which is 20%. Counting the 7 I was unsure about, that's 23/81. 28%. Welp, that means I proved my point in doing this in the first place, I guess! It's official! Based off of my own data, Mr. Fussy is technically a bigger asshole than Mr. Rude!

Am I gonna do every single character? Probably.

Flying - He doesn't do anything wrong, he just wants to know if the pillow's clean. Even if he's a bit of a dick about it. Mr. Grumpy's the one who . yknow. kidnapped Mr. Bounce

Music - MR FUSSY A BITCH! He unfairly blamed Mr. Rude when Miss Naughty's the one who ruined the first performance :(

Physical - He doesn't do anything wrong, he was just judging the physical performance in his first bit and just participating in the relay race in his second bit

Farm - He doesn't do anything wrong he just got yeeted lmao

Lake - He doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Scatterbrain is just a moron

Beach - He doesn't do anything wrong, he just got justifiably mad at Mr. Scatterbrain for being a moron

Booboos - He doesn't do anything wrong, he just helped out Mr. Nervous with his splinter

Mall - He doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Messy is just gross

Camping - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! Why the fuck did you invite Miss Chatterbox if you wanted silence, you fuck? She legit just wanted to tell him that she saw the bird :(

Science - Mr. Fussy a bitch to the frogs smh

Paint - He doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Messy just isn't very considerate :(

Jobs - He doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Tickle a dumbass

Chores - he doesn't do anything wrong he's just like that

Snow - he doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Messy's just not very considerate

Food - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He's mean to Mr. Messy :(

Wildlife - he doesn't do anything wrong, cause he didn't mean to call Mr. Messy a repulsive animal

Restaurants - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! I don't wanna rewatch this one it makes me sad :(

Bugs - he's barely in it and he loses his fucking moustache what the fuck

Circus - hes kinda mean to everyone but not enough for me to count it

Cars - I DONT EVEN KNOW MAN HE'S NOT REALLY BAD HE'S JUST FUCKING STUPID

Canned Goods - he's barely in it and just kinda. exists

Ships - he barely even does anything in the bit he has

Cooking - he doesn't do anything wrong ig

Collecting - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He stole Mr. Messy's shoes and then destroyed his stuff cause he thought it was gross :(

Heatwave - he doesn't do anything wrong mr messy is just mr messy

Sleep - he doesn't do anything wrong

Carwash - I cant say for sure, I refuse to watch this segment again

Sightseeing - he doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Messy is just nasty. He's kind of a dick to him though

The Dark - I really don't know on this one. He's kinda mean throughout it but not enough to count but also i kinda wanna count it?? cause hes mean to mr messy a lot??? its weird, he also didnt let mr messy back into his house when he was scared :(

Parade - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He made fun of both Mr. Rude and Mr. Messy's floats and made up a rule specifically against Mr. Messy which is super fucked up man

SEASON 2

Picnics - He doesn't do anything wrong, Mr. Stubborn is just laughably stupid

Driving - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He didn't want to help Miss Chatterbox and Mr. Tickle, and even tried to ignore Miss Scary and Mr. Quiet rather than help them :(

Outer Space - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He asks Miss Scary and Miss Naughty "what's wrong with them" when they were just having fun, and doesn't believe them when the real aliens show up :(

Clean Teeth - does this even count as him being an asshole? like yeah he freaks out on Mr. Rude but he's kinda justified in doing it?? this shouldnt count as him being an asshole but I like mr. rude so. yeah, i'm biased. im not counting this one as mr fussy a bitch but im not giving it a yellow. like, he also calls him disgusting and is a dick the entire time but he's in the right so . ???????? he also calls mr messy gross at the end what am i supposed to do here

Airports - hes a bit of a dick but yeah he was gonna miss his flight thats justified

Shoes - he doesn't do anything wrong he's just trying his best

Arts and Crafts - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He's mean to Mr. Strong and Mr. Messy, and even calls Mr. Messy's art junk :(

Game Shows - he doesn't do anything wrong, he even makes Mr. Happy a quilt :) Mr. Stubborn is just a fucking moron NEVERMIND MR FUSSY STOLE THE FUCKING QUILT BACK???? RUDE

Garages - he's actually really really nice in this bit!! :D he let Mr. Messy keep his bike in his garage and put off mopping his floor to hang out with Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small :)

Eyeglasses - he's barely in it and is fine ig

Toys - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! oh my fucking god he was doing so good and then right at the end he had to go and be a sore loser, call Mr. Messy disgusting, etc. fucker

Hats - he does nothing wrong, he just wants a hat

Robots - he just lost his bread man

Parties - another gay icon segment! hes pretty poggrs

Up and Down - hes barely in it and hes good

Dining Out - hes fine ig? kind of a dick but not especially so

Goo - Miss Naughty you fucking bitch fucjk you fucky ou fuck you! FUCK YOU!!!!

Trains and Planes - he's kind of dickish but otherwise fine

Lunch - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! For one, why the fuck did you invite Mr. Messy if you didn't want "messiness" at your pristine fucking picnic, why the fuck did you invite Miss Chatterbox if you didn't want her talking, etc, but he's also very ignorant of Mr. Quiet's warnings of the bear ):(

Machines - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU BUY MR. MESSY A MACHINE THAT CLEANS HIS HOUSE??? AGAINST HIS WISHES??? AND HE FUCKING SPECIFICALLY ASKS TO GET IT OUT BUT YOU DONT FUCKING LISTEN AND PROCEED TO CRITICISE HIM??? IT'S HIS FUCKING SPACE, FOR ONE, AND YOU KNOW CLEANLINESS MAKES HIM UNCOMFORTABLE! YOU FUCK! im so fucking mad

Birds - he doesn't do anything wrong he gets fucking yeeted

Bath and Bubbles - this is the only Mr. Fussy bit where he's actually happy at the end and yknow what? boyboss moment

Sand and Surf - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! I know this is a trend but yes, he's a dick to Mr. Quiet and ignores everything he says.

Parks - MR. FUSSY A BITCH! He spends the entire segment bullying Mr. Messy and I am tired of it

Travel - hes kinda dickish the entire time but mmmmmyeah

Bad Weather - i didnt want to watch this one again cause it sucks, i'm assuming he's fine

If you've read to the bottom, then I'm sure you're actually interested in what I have to say about him/the other mr men and little misses. Because I'm definitely going to be doing more of these, please acknowledge going forward that I am one, singular teenager. A teenager susceptible to my own bias, especially when it comes to some of the "negative" characters. Don't take my percentages and data too seriously, as it's all technically based off of my opinions of each segment. Ok bye bye Mr. Noisy's next

1. What’s their full name? Why was that chosen? Does it mean anything?

Nik’s full name is Nikolas Isaac Arwaine

Nikolas means ‘victory of the people’ Isaac means ‘laughter’ and Arwaine, I took the Celtic god of the dead Arwan and added a few letters :)

It was chosen bec when i orginally was writing him, he was inspired by Nikolai Lant/sov in Grisha.

3. Did they have a good childhood? What are fond memories they have of it? What’s a bad memory?

Nik had,,, an interesting childhood. HIs father wasn’t,,, outwardly abusive, perse. But he did lock his kids in places to get out (he broke nates hand bec nate wouldnt stop drawing). His mom taught him how to lie and his parents gave him whatever he wanted besides the one thing he Really wanted

He has fond memories of Adrien and his ohter brothers taking him to the ocean. He had fond memories of hanging out with Nate in Nates studio. One of his fave memories is Nate putting face paint on his face when he was a lil birb

A bad memory he has is getting so afraid of not being able to get out of a room, he threw himself into a panic attack and he was shaking and crying so hard that his dad was so damn disappointed in him that he didnt talk to Nik for a Long Time

5. Do they have any siblings? What’s their names? What is their relationship with them? Has their relationship changed since they were kids to adults?

he had Three (3) sibs. Blake, Adrien and Nate.

He has a fairly easy going relationship with Blake and Nate. Tho he butts heads with Adrien a Lot. Blake and Nate’s relationship with Nik is kinda the same growing up, tho his and Adrien’s change. Nik used to idolize Adrien, now they just fight all the time

7. Did they have lots of friends as a child? Did they keep any of their childhood friends into adulthood?

Nik,,, had more superficial friends than Friend Friends. People liked his money and his influence more than they liked him. Tho he is a very infectious person, so he probably does have friends, theyre just awful people who are flighty when things go Wrong

9. Do animals like them? Do they get on well with animals?

y’know I think Nik does like animals!! he likes all kinds of animals and would like a pet snake or spider but IM NOT GIVING HIM EITHER. He tries to pet Bay’s pet kitten but she claws the hell out of him :(

11. Do they have any special diet requirements? Are they a vegetarian? Vegan? Have any allergies?the main requirement that Nik has is that he doesn’t like his food touching. He doesnt mind mixing his foods, like hot dogs and mac and cheese, but he doesn’t like them touching. He is also allergic to strawberries ;-;

Nik is actually very good at cooking!! Most of the time he hates it unless hes making something Big or baking something with Cameron, who stress bakes. Cameron secretly likes his cooking but he wont admit it

oh hell yeah!! Nik loves taking nudes pictures and sending them to cameron. His cell phone (if he had one) would be full of random pics of people and of places. MUCH PICTURES OF THE OCEAN. He has a bunch saved on his phone and he has some in photo albums and such

mmmm i think nonfiction would bore him, especially for industrial revolution area. I think he would actually really like scyfi and action. Absolutely would love anything that was just fast and action packed. he would fucking LOVE deadpool

Nik absolUTELY has a temper. Its quick, its hot and he often makes an ass of himself. He’s not patient. He has,,, some patience, I guess. Where it counts. But it’s nowhere near as long as Nate’s.

When he loses his temper people get wounded or just DEAD. or he just makes an ass out of himself and has to apologize

Nik has a somewhat good memory. HIs long term memory is much better tho. He’s much more visual and is better with faces.

NIk has the most juvinle sense of humor lol. But he also has a really fucking dark sense of humor when it calls for it. If someone is bleeding out, and they deserved it, hed laugh

Nik,,, doesn’t really get sad. He gets pissed. He tries hiding his tears, and he tries to not cry. He shoves negative emotions down so much (which is actually why hes such an angry dude :/)

WHen he does break down and cry Cam,,, tries to be comforting with him. They can get surprisingly soft

mmmm it would depend on the fear. Like if it was as Genuine fear (like his is) he wouldn’t tease them. But like,,, if it was something stupid hed absoluTELY tease them for it. He would get kinda protective about it, and would tell whoever it was bothering them to fuck off and leave them alone

Nik,,,, is not fond of reading. He is Dyslexic and he doesn’t like sitting still or being forced to focus. Tho,,, i think he might read, depending on what he was reading.

A lot of people see him as a lost cause, as some druggie who is going nowhere other than down. Some think that he’s just,,, lost. HIs dad sees him as his Son who just needs tough love and the right pressure to Honor His Family

Nik,,, sees himself as a hot guy, whos shallow and with money. People dont like him, they like his money and what he can do for them.

mmmmmm Nik doesn’t like many formal occassions. He thinks theyre boring and people are fake as fuck. He Hates black tie wear and he only agrees to wear a tie if Cam uses it on him later ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

he hates chit chat but he does fucking love gossip. He’ll find a couple of people to hang out with and get the Dish

his lighter. Its a flip lighter with engravings on it, that Nate got him. He uses it when he gets anxious. That,,, is actually the reason Nate got it for him, tho Nate did not say that.

1. When, where, and how did you meet?We met on tumblrdotcom on August 6th (babe, is it the 6th?) I sent her a message and complimented her blog, she then followed me, and I sent her another message apologizing for all the One Direction because I thought she was cooler than me. Then basically we started talking a lot/daily and here we are!

2. What did you first notice about each other?I’m gonna be real honest, i thirst followed my girlfriend, and thought she was hot. Also I liked how she thought about things, felt like I really connected with her personal posts on here. But like, I thought she was hot y’all.

3. Who first asked the other out?She asked me out officially, but I was the one to admit I had feelings for her first. (with prompting from Sammy) Which I did when she was sleeping and then I didn’t sleep because i was panicking that I sent it in a text.

4. Where was your first date?Babe, real question, what do we count as a date? Are we talking Skyping? Are we talking when you took me out to dinner when I visited?

5. Who was first to verbally say “I love you”?Morgannnn, because I had basically told her before we were even together that I’d be scared to say it first ever again after a previous relationship. Which she said on October 7th btws.

6. How did your first kiss happen? Who initiated it?Ummmm our first kiss was in her car in the airport parking lot, Morgan asked so I think that means she initiated it :)

9. What made you realize you were in love with her?It’s sounds silly to say you ‘just know’ but I guess I just kind of knew. It was just this very intense connection and very safe feeling, it was different than how I’d ever felt towards a person. Like realizing this was the person I wanted to see everyday, and share everything with, and really couldn’t picture not having in my life. I don’t know if there was an exact moment, at least for me.

10. Where you friends before you became a couple?Yes, though we’d only been friends for like a month before feelings got admitted. But we talked a lot/shared a ton before we got together.

Why do you dislike them? I'm not going to type out the ship name because I don't want this to appear in their tags, but i'm talking about the first one you mentioned

(Since i got 3 different asks referring to this, i’m gonna answer to this one hoping it satisfies curiosities. lmao. .. Also, im answering to this particular one because the other two included the ship name and i dont want this post to end up in their tag. Qr/ow/in shippers, pls dont read this ! - i 100% respect you all. but you probably wont like or care about my opinion. And also im not looking for any form of debate/argument, i swear lol. I hate drama and I probably wont ever talk about this topic ever again after this post. As a massive Renora shipper, i know that i really hate reading posts (even respectful ones) that say negative things about my OTP lol. it really makes me bummed. So, i dont want anyone to feel bummed over reading my silly opinion on this ship.. my opinion doesnt matter.)

I just.. :P idk. its more like.. many little reasons put together, rather than one big obvious “NO”, ya know what i mean? The biggest reason the ship makes me cringe is because of how .. almost gross Qrow behaves towards her? Teasing her, messing with her, how she is obviously v tired of his shit because its not the first time she has dealt with him like this. i think he even kinda gets her into trouble at one point… but i dont remember that episode too well. i could be wrong on that last bit. ehim just not a fan of the whole “guys pick on girls because they like them!” perspective. I mean, get it. Some people like that in ships. They like that about this duo. I just… i don’t. i’ve been on the teased end before, and i found it kinda.. embarrassing? demeaning? to be honest i just wasnt comfortable with it. Some personalities like the teasing. Some dont.. and idk, I dont see Winter as someone who would be comfortable with being messed with in the way that Qrow has messed with her. Maybe another girl (or guy). Maybe another personality. i dunno lol. but Winter specifically doesn’t give me the vibe as someone who likes such behavior. On top of it all, he’s pretty much a 40 year old drunk … and considering how it’s evident that Winter’s mother is also an alcoholic, I just… gosh.. no thank. its kinda.. nooooooo ? ? idk ,,, Winter could just go back home if she wanted to deal with a drunk adult or something??

i guess the “possible age difference” is a thing that turns me off a bit too. a lot of people pass it off and headcanon Winter as like 25-30 and Qrow as like 35 or something lmao but i just … ehh, no. in the Schnee family portrait, Winter doesn’t even look five years older than Weiss. and even if Winter is 5 years older than Weiss.. that would put her at like, 22/23? which is ……. my age.

and Qrow is definitely about 40. (17 starting at Beacon, 21 from graduating Beacon, I assume there might have at least been a year or two before Yang was born? so like…. 22+17= 39…. and now with the vol4 time skip. 40, ig ?)

I know you are supposted to get one in your askbox. but guess what. i dont give a shit, and i’m bored as fuck so i did them all. my memory is shit atm so i dont remember some answers to some of these. and my grammar is shit but do with it what you want. g’night ya’ll ~

Clint Capela’s improvement is the key to the Rockets’ long-term future

And we saw some of that in Capela’s amazing performance to close out the Cavaliers.

For as often as the Houston Rockets are breaking three-point records, Clint Capela stands out in an unusual way: he’s the only player on the team who hasn’t made a triple in his NBA career. (Zhou Qi doesn’t count, since he’ll make one soon.)

That’s not to say every player on Houston’s roster is a shooter, but nearly all of them do. Capela, instead, is a throwback to the old-school centers that used to run the league. He’ll block shots, set screens, crash the lane, and dive for alley oops. It’s almost refreshing to see a player accept those parameters.

It’s especially refreshing in Houston, where a good team was hamstrung by Dwight Howard’s insistence on being a player who he isn’t — namely, an old school post threat, something he has long aspired to be and can’t lived up to anymore. When the Rockets let Howard loose, they pinned their hope on his replacement, Capela. Those were high hopes for a player who had only appeared in 89 games for his career.

But Capela is validating the Rockets now, no more so than Thursday’s game against the Cavaliers. Cleveland had lost six of its last nine games coming in, but they were pushing to beat Houston on the road. With 1:39 left in the game, they only trailed by a point.

Once, James Harden missed a game-clinching shot ... and there was an offensive rebound. Twice, Harden missed another potential game-clincher — and Capela was there. He laid it in. It was a four-point game with less than 11 seconds left.

LeBron James went for the quick two on the other end. Once again, Capela:

He finished with 19 points, 13 rebounds, and five blocks on 7-of-9 shooting. Amazingly, that only took him 24 minutes.

Capela is an underrated part of Houston’s success story

Something that stood out to me last season when I visited the Rockets for a week was a Mike D’Antoni quote:

“Capela is the player I get mad at the most,” he said.

D’Antoni quickly clarified that he didn’t mean that negatively. No, it’s that Houston sees so much potential in the 6’10 center, still only 23 years old. The Rockets are a team that’s built to win now, but Capela is a building block that could last well beyond this iteration of the roster. They ask a lot out of him, and its his internal development that could spur him to even greater heights.

Capela barely averaging more minutes than he did last season — 24.2 per game — which undersells just how good his per game stats are. He’s averaging 12.7 points, 10.6 rebounds, 1.6 blocks, and 68.5 percent shooting from the field, all career highs. Consider his per-36 minute stats, though: 18.9 points, 15.8 rebounds, and 2.4 blocks. Those stats, if they were reality, would likely earn him an All-Star berth.

But those numbers don’t mean nearly as much for Capela as the minutes do. Last year, D’Antoni would substitute Capela when he started looking tired, and this year seems to be the same.

As D’Antoni told reporters at the end of last season: “If I’m Clint Capela, yeah, I played 24 minutes last year, I need to get that up to 30. What I give can’t fall off, I need to keep not getting tired. I think it’s a matter of getting older, stronger, getting to a man’s body, so I’m looking forward to him progressing whether it’s up to 26 this year or up to 30. He determines that.”

There will always be 15 minutes for Nene off the bench when he plays, which is what the veteran is averaging so far this year, but that doesn’t exclude more minutes for Capela. He has to prove he can play more without losing effectiveness.

Still, that shouldn’t undersell what Capela actually brings to the team. In the short spurts that he plays, no one on the Rockets may be more impactful.

“To me, it’s just a matter of time,” D’Antoni told ESPN. “I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t become, if not the best center in the league, one of the best. I’ll be shocked.”

Capela is still learning this sport

ESPN’s Tim MacMahon profiled Capela on Thursday, about how he grew up in Switzerland and how his mother tearfully sent him to a home for underprivileged boys when he was young. Eventually, through his brother, he found basketball. As MacMahon writes:

When Capela first picked up a basketball, he was a long, lanky 13-year-old soccer player who knew next to nothing about the game. After he left the group home, his brother urged Capela to join him playing basketball at a local park.

Capela has improved a free throw stroke that was embarrassing when he first entered the league. (He missed the first 15 free throw attempts of his career!) He has bettered his body, packing in 240 pounds into his frame. Last spring when I visited, Capela had a conversation with a teammate about how he wanted to eventually shoot threes. He’s not rushing that process, though. There’s still much for him to learn that comes natural to his position, after all.

Capela will keep learning, and his growth is enormous for Houston. With a front office led by Daryl Morey, there are always ways to improve a roster, but Capela represents the foremost internal way that the team could get better. They will have to re-sign him this summer, but with restricted free agency rights and the sky-high view of him that they already have, that should be considered a lock.

The Rockets are expected Chris Paul back in the next week or so, and Capela knows what that means.

More lobs, more minutes, more improvement. That’s what the Rockets expect from Capela, and it’s what Capela believes he can deliver them. He hasn’t shown a reason to doubt him yet.
