It’s only slightly outdated. Most of the lore is still true! I’ll be making a separate Twitter for it very soon as well. So far Gene Spliced is the only one that I’ll be making into a comic! It’s the one that’s closest to my heart and I’ve been putting a lot of work into it. 🥹♥️ I’ve got the outline for the first issue written so now I’m just sketching out the pages. Putting a samples below! (There’s a two pages between these sequences but I’m omitting cause spoilers lol.) I’ve never made a comic before so it’s also gonna be a learning experience for me. 😭 So happy people enjoy my GS turtles. I truly am.

The Divorce AU is something I’m still developing. It’s just on the back burner. Central idea for them is just Tang Shen is the one who mutated as raised them while Yoshi is the Shredder.

Embrace Legacy literally is just 2003 turtles return and experience IDW canon events. Idk how is to put it. Lawl. You can find more design concept stuff for them here and on my twt under just the #tmnt hashtag, though they’re def easier to find here I’m sure. But again Legacy designs are just rebooted 2k3 and double as my IDW interpretations.

As for my favorite designs- I really adore Legacy Donnie and GS Raph. 💜♥️ I really like how they came out but also the GS turtles all together are just my absolute faves. I love them so much. I’m so happy with all of them.

ALSO MY TENDENCY TO DRAW LEO MAKES ME SICK CAUSE RAPH IS MY FAVE. 😭😭😭 (I love Raph and Leo equally there’s just a lot of evidence against me. ⚰️)

I love Irma! What are your plans with her and how is she connected to the turtles + April? What’s her personal like…

Here's my first draft of GS Irma! 😊 Wanted to make sure you had some kind of visual ref of her.

She's older than April in this iteration. I'd say late 20s early 30s. Initially, she came into StockGen as an intern before working her way up. She served as the main coordinator for the turtles alongside Splinter. April’s arrival kinda eases her out of that position. There are no hard feelings towards April, though. She's thankful to have more backup. Splinter is cute, but he’s not the greatest to work with. She finds the turtles charming, but it's clear that she doesn't like her job, lol. Girl is exhausted. Her goal every day is to just survive and make it home to her romcoms and TV dinner.

Back again with more questions! Hope you dont mind! About the GS! Lads!

What year does this AU take place in? 2012? 2003? Im curious!

Since the brothers have different DNA in them of different species of turtle, is there a difference in like their swimming capabilities? Aka who would be the fastest swimmer? c:

Is there any personal vendetta against GS Splinter and GS Shredder?

Do the turtles care about being heroes, or are they more focused on just surviving for the most part?

I don’t mind at all! I love the questions.

- Current year, but there was a second where I considered it happening in the 90s heheh.

- Yes! Mikey and Raph are the strongest swimmers. But I should also add that Raph chilling at the bottom of the pool. Donnie is horrific at swimming.

- No real vendetta, but there are complicated feelings. Splinter feels very devoted to Shredder despite how he was treated. The poor guy is compartimentalizing.

- Complicated answer...

They are child soldiers that are being led to believe that what they're doing is right.

what types of music do the gene spliced turtles listen to?? or if they don’t listen to much music, what do you think they’d enjoy?

I don’t have immediate answers but I’ve had this vision of April catching them up on music by each decade. Donnie probably likes more experimental sound while Leo prefers stuff more quiet. I can easily see him covering his ears if something is too loud. On the topic of music though!

Nah. They're all pretty much the same age. Sorry if there was any confusion! I had only said I considered Mikey the youngest cause he didn't develop as fast as his brothers did when Stockman was cooking them. It's the reason why he's smaller.

For your GS!AU

i dont think Ive seen this mentioned anywhere but is there going to be a Casey Jones? And if so, how will the turtles have met him?

Are the Kraang going to be a big enemy in the series? Is Leatherhead going to exist?

Despite how serious Leo is, does he end up developing any hobbies that dont include training?

As of right now, Casey isn't present. I think he'll definitely have a place after I get through this first big phase of the story I have planned. Irma is currently the only other major human ally.

The Kraang are also something for the future. I have a big focus on Stockman right now. Shredder is also a huge threat, of course, but I've got a lot planned with Stockman. Other than IDW, I feel like they don't really let his character shine. I hope you guys will enjoy GS!Stockman as much as I do! Bro needs serious therapy.

A version of Leatherhead will exist.

Leo gets really into puzzles and card games. Please play UNO with him. It's his favorite.

First off I wanna say Im absolutely obsessed with your GS AU!! Your art is just so appealing to the eyes! I was curious if you would be willing to give some lore/fun facts on GS!Raph?

Thank you sm!! Glad people enjoy my AU. I love my GS turtles so dearly. 😭❤️ And of course! Here's some more about Raph. 🐢

- Like Leo, he takes training very seriously! He just doesn't always go by the book. He's very easily influenced by his emotions.

- It's very hard for him to relax. He goes stir crazy very easily. He hates silence and cannot sit still. The only place he can rest easy is in the exercise pool. The water is comforting.

- Raph is a destructive stimmer. His room is very torn up because of this. 😭 Do not hand him anything important cause he might break it. Not purposely, he's not very aware when he's picking away at stuff. This habit lessens when he starts getting into botany.

- Picks on Mikey the least. He feels compelled to protect him. (Mikey can take care of himself but he enjoys the attention.) Mikey hates doing vitals so Raph will hold his hand to comfort him.

- As much as he'd hate to admit it, he's very dependent on April. They all are, but without saying too much, it's different for Raph. He butts heads with her a lot, maybe even more than he does with Leo. At the end of the day, it's all love tho.

CAN WE HAVE SOME FUN FACTS ABOUT GENE SPLICED DONNIE

He looks so silly and he deserves more love me thinks :(

Of course!! GS Donnie facts be upon ye!

- He's not a big fan of physical affection. Being poked and prodded at for most of his life definitely played a part in this.

- A little insecure about his tail. He gets embarrassed cause it will wag if he's excited or happy. Raph pulls it and teases him a lot.

- He picks up new skills quickly and is always desperate to learn more! Kinda hard to do that when you spend most of your life in an underground tank. He's got approximate knowledge of many things. Don is definitely a video essay enjoyer. April and Mikey are the only ones that pay any kind of attention to his info dumps.

- Very sticky handed! Anytime they're coming back from a mission Stockman has him shook down for any contraband. Poor thing wants new toys.

- Lack of activities in the Lair makes him partake in a lot of repetitive studies. He's often dismantling and reassembling the few appliances that are available with his own make shift tools.

- Together, he and Mikey are a creatively troublesome duo. Don likes to pick his brother's brain when he's in an idea rut.
