Looking for “language exchange” friends!

🇮🇹Hii, I’m an Italian uni student currently graduating in Languages&Literature. 🇮🇹

As you can guess, I love learning new languages but since I already spend all day on grammar textbooks, I wanted to learn sth else in a fun and relaxed way ^-^

I was thinking about exchanging words, sayings, even myths, or whatever we feel like sharing. Ofc there’s no pressure in how much or how often we need to teach/learn, this aren’t college classes hahah

(English would be used to explain words etc, so natives of whatever other language are welcome <3)

(As an italian currently learning spanish they do be pretty similar languages in a lot of ways, i think if they tried talking in the one they know and vaguely understand each other it would be a pretty funny picture)

YOU ARE NOT ANNOYING!! i love when people send me their little thoughts! keeps me motivated :3 i’m also going to replace duolingo with this app called busuu because it’s much more accurate and you get corrections from native speakers!! I’m also doing Rudy because we lacking Rudy content in this house!!!

Maybe it’s later at night and Rudy finally finished up with his work for the day, so he heads to the bedroom. Rudy pauses when he hears a muffled voice that’s definitely not yours—speaking spanish. Rudy’s eyebrows furrow as he quietly enters the bedroom and you’re hunched over a desk in the corner with your phone, a pencil and a spiral notebook, writing something down. You click a button and you murmur “Me llamo [name].” into your phone. A quiet positive ‘ding!’ comes from your phone and Rudy raises his eyebrows. “Oh? What is this?” Rudy can’t help but grin when you turn to him with sparkling yet nervous eyes. Your lip twitches up into a smile. “I.. I want to learn Spanish. Learn the basics and maybe have you or Alejandro teach me the more complex stuff..” You bite your lip for a moment. “I wanted to learn it because of you. I wanna speak to you in Spanish.. for you.”

Rudy’s chest swells as he walks over and wraps his arms around you from behind, pressing a soft kiss to your temple, pride dancing around in his chest. “I’ll help you learn, don’t worry.. I’m glad you’re trying.”

So I don’t speak Italian so for me Carlos speaking Italian just sounds yknow normal, does he have a strong accent? Like with english?

Ciao! Sì, parlo italiano, ma solo un po'. Imparando italiano per tre mesi ora! Anche xlx mix migliore amicx è italianx. Lxi usa -x invece -ə. Grazie mille per usi -ə per me! Anche -o è va bene per me. Mi dispiace se non dico questo molto bene ancora.

I was informed by @no-cinnamon-for-synonym that we two are not the only (quasi) italian speakers in this fandom, and that one of them is even a fellow German-and-italian speaker (like me :D)
