i'm in the middle of painting my bedroom, which is going Eh bc i want a very specific colour, but the lightbulb colour + basement darkness has made this an annoying trial and error in paint matching. however, i discovered only now in my life that plain ol' black + regular old yellow makes green.

i didn't know that??? i feel like... i shoudl've known that. was i not taught this when i was 8 or something?? it's making me feel 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ that i didn't know? it makes such a good green too

i hate this bc i feel like it was something that—now that i'm looking at it swatched out—i'm like "duh yeah, that's obvious, you knew that." but i just spent 4 days in a paint-fume-fuelled mania mixing greens, yellows, blues, reds, coppers, whites, blacks, etc to find a Perfect Green, and she was there in 2 colours all along...

i haven't read the mp100 manga but i really enjoy seeing people share panels from it because the english translation they come with gives off the vibe of like. the amateur fan translations where all the emotions are ramped up 100% and curse words are the bread and butter every other text bubble. my japanese isn't very good so i can't confirm if dimple actually casually calls reigen "son of a bitch" or if tome tells mob to "not start talking shit" but god i really hope they do

Just rewatched 04x01 and started thinking a lot of interesting things.

Castiel left a mark on Dean when he saved him from hell.

Wouldn't it be amazing if demons left a mark on Sam when they resurrected him?

Dean would go crazy. He was the one who saved Sam. He sold his soul for Sam. How dare a demon leave a mark on Sam? Sam, his life, his soul, everything belongs to Dean.

On the other hand, it's also interesting how the situations were similar (a demon ripped Sam out of heaven and an angel ripped Dean out of hell), but the angels mark Dean's body and soul, while the demons don't have to fight so hard and don't leave a mark on the ones they revive.

Demons want to keep the souls in hell more than anything (they are demons, after all), but angels don't care enough to fight for the souls in heaven.

alvar is such a mysterious character, and i wish we knew more about him and his relationships. 

i wish we knew more about his connections with various neverseen members and the role(s) he played in his time working with them. i wish we knew which ones he hated, which ones were strictly business partners, which ones were like family. fintan was a father to him and he was a bi disaster for ruy. i’m not taking criticism at this time.

i wish we had canon confirmation on whether or not he was actually cheating on his 3 girlfriends mentioned in book 1, or if they were polyamorous and he was just rolling along with whatever people assumed since it was easier than explaining and fighting. 

i wish we knew more about the little moments he shared with biana, the only other vacker outcast, the only vacker that really got him. (was he the one that got her into bramble? how often did they play base quest together? did she try to give fitz and keefe makeovers when they were younger because alvar had, and surely they would too? did they half-jokingly trade fashion advice? did he go take her out to do the things he wished their parents had done with him? etc.) 

i wish we knew more about his relationship with fitz before he found out alvar was a traitor. (it’s mentioned that fitz is a huge cuddler in neverseen, when he volunteers [volunteers!] to sleep with alvar [when they’re trying to figure out rooming again since there’s another member now]. did fitz used to sleep with alvar when he was younger frequently, or was it an opportunity he grabbed onto when it showed up every now and then? also in book 4, fitz’s favorite place he wanted to go to [during cognate training] was ravagog. did it have to do with how alvar spent a lot of time there? fitz also had a habit of picking up souvenirs in the forbidden cities - did he pick it up from alvar? did alvar ever bring souvenirs for him and biana when he came to everglen? etc.)

i wish we knew more about the specifics of how he went from being an avid neverseen member to not wanting anything to do with the war at all. i wish we knew if he regreted betraying his siblings, at least a little bit. i just. i wish we knew more.
