The manga industry, especially JUMP, needs to hurry up and do away with weekly scheduling for mangaka. There needs to better regulations put into place for their health and safety because this is pitiful. Two weeks - monthly updates should’ve already been the standard for the manga industry at this point. These money grabbers will only continue to put the lives of these artists at stake for the sake of capitalism unless some serious changes are implemented.
#it’s just???#at the end of the day all these people want to do is draw and write their stories and share them with the world#why is death from stress the end game for so many of them#this should not be part of the package when finally deciding that this is what you want to do with your life#rambling#I still never got over miura’s passing man#and Togashi is still here but he’s been suffering from the consequences of overwork#it’s just… all so bleak#fans just need to learn to be patient if these changes are ever made and to be respectful#your fav series is not gonna die just because you can’t get it right now#I’m glad that gege does this now like he takes a break every 2-3 chapters and that’s good#this should be normalized

#kingdom hearts 3#kh3#olympus#scenery#my gif#you could tell they wanted to make a good first impression with this world because they went all out#just think about how it used to be nothing but the exterior of the coliseum and the lobby#you can properly explore thebes now even if it is in shambles after the attack#and it's a surprisingly big town#then there's mount olympus and you actually get to climb all the way to the top#the base is so lush with all kinds of flowers and distant waterfalls it's gorgeous#until eventually you reach the rocky and cavernous mountain top during a severe thunderstorm#it feels very bleak and gloomy until you're suddenly greeted by the golden gates leading to the realm of the gods#and wow it's just stunning#really really beautiful world

just. the fact that ghosts is so family oriented it's insane like. the lineage of button house hasn't always been familial so most of the ghosts aren't blood related but family is literally built into the walls and the grounds and.
kitty's family shunned her, abused and manipulated, naive and misunderstanding.
thomas was betrayed by his cousin, the plaque reads "button house" because of the horrible loss of his love, he died alone and a joke.
most of the plague ghosts children died presumably, and the only child ghost we see is jemima.
humphrey was forced to marry someone who didn't love him, tried his best to make her happy and give them both a chance at life, didn't give up on her even when he easily could have turned her in.
fanny's husband killed her out of fear and shame and she kept his secret for so long, reenacting her death every night without rest.
julian was selfish and nearsighted and ruined his chance at a happy family, only realizing everything he could have had once it was already out of reach.
pat's wife cheated on him, he believed his family hated him, made fun of him, didn't respect him, only to find out they've carried on his memory in his absence.
mike's family is dysfunctional and silly and his parents care, too much, and want to do everything they can to help him and make him happy before they can't anymore.
and alison. alison. no mom, no dad, no siblings, brought to button house by an obscure family tie she had no idea existed. and then lucy had the audacity to take advantage of her loneliness, her kindness, her hope. she made alison believe she had found a family member, but wait a second. she's found nine of them.
"im sorry you lost the sister you never had" "youre the sister I never had" like.... they've been family the entire time. they play games together they laugh together they sing together they fight together they grieve together. in persevering, in finding the humanity in supposed monsters, she achieved a family. family family family.

#like as a teenager/young adult/probably through most of the series#i truly don’t think dean actually conceptualized himself as a queer person#it wasn’t that he didn’t notice that he was attracted to men#it was just that even though he knew that was what he was experiencing he refused to let himself think of it in those terms#thinking about kissing boys would be like thinking about getting to attend the same school for an entire year:#dad wouldn’t allow it so therefore it’s impossible and even the act of wanting it would be betraying dad#and so dean calls men buddy and brother and calls himself straight#and only a tiny voice in the very back of his mind even registers it as a lie#HOWEVER because this post is so bleak here’s a reminder that he does make peace with his sexuality eventually!!!#we are three years post-canon he is out to all his loved ones and has gay sex with his husband several times a week!!

i think i wouldn’t hate disco elysium’s collage mode nearly as much if it weren’t for 1) the way that it was marketed in such a tasteless, soulless manner, let alone the fact that it was a last ditch distraction from a dead on its feet studio piloted by dumbass thieving execs and released on the day of the court declaration, and 2) those dumbass fucking stickers
like if it had been included with the base game from the start and had been titled something a bit more tasteful and in-line with how i would have liked the feature to be marketed as— something like “exploration mode”, something that perhaps could only be unlocked after completing the game for the first time, AND didn’t have those stupid as hell visually and tonally incongruent with the artstyle stickers, i would have applauded it as a nice little bonus for being able to study and appreciate the 3d models and environments for reference.

her friend ellen saying, "well, first you have to get a life." tara, pregnant with their christmas gift, saying that life before one grew inside her was "somehow...less, just a prelude," while barren dana cries in the kitchen. Your swsh art always makes me want to replay the game because i love it and its my favorite pokemon game and every time i play another pokemon game i think of it how i miss certain elements from swsh. Then i boot up the game and im once again caught in the 1 hour 40 minutes hand held intro and im like ah- now i remember why i have been playing other pokemon games instead of this one. I'm going to make a series of mods called 'It's Not a Bug, It's a Feature' specifically designed to make Skyrim worse and less playable.
#Children can fly but they cant land#All weapon enchantments have had their values increased to 40000 starting#Surprise! I manually deleted all the facegen data#Actually no not that one scratch that one#I swapped a bunch of models around randomly and renamed every interactive object in the world to random Latin words#Sometimes buckets are secretly dragons#Sometimes dragons are secretly buckets#One that just sets the final boss of bleak falls barrow to essential so you cant progress the game#I deleted the floors in all nord ruins (inspired by a fun mod conflict I had when I first started)#Ulfric Stormcloak follows you everywhere#He's not hostile or anything he's just there#You've seen mods that replace frostbite spiders with nords#now get ready for the mod that replaces nords with frostbite spiders#They are hostile and passive and quest-essential NPCs have also been replaced#The cc fishing but all you pull up are daedric artifacts#Beds can now walk around and may strike up a forced conversation with the player about the last person to sleep on them#(Somehow this was always maven blackbriar. She eats crackers in bed btw)#Also the beds are always hostile after this conversation ends#Getting arrested makes your hands bound like they are in the intro#You have to track down hadvar or ralof to untie you again every time
