OOOOOH ANON!!!! i am so in love with this ask!!!!! this hurts!!! the answer is YES, ABSOLUTELY! honestly, if touya were to dish out this extreme, sadistic punishment to reader only to discover that she was actually innocent this entire time, he’d probably cry. he’d feel fucking awful. this would be one of those rare, seldom moments were he’d genuinely feel bad + remorseful for his actions. touya will often punish her for bullshit reasons purely to exert power n control over her (tho to him, he can almost always ‘justify’ these, and we see this clearly exhibited throughout the series), but if he had seriously and sincerely mistaken her for committing some sort of severe offence, he would spend a very, very long time making it up to her, and it’s definitely a mistake he’d be absolutely certain to never make again (aka he’d meticulously check to ensure she truly had committed an offence before ever punishing her again).

there rhyming poem done and dusted a single word over one syllable and it took me 7 seconds. it's a stupid poem but guess what it's still a poem. anyone can write fucking rhymed and metered poetry and it's insulting 2 me that people are still up free verse's ass when rhyming is so much fun and artificial restrictions that you choose for yourself can sometimes make creativity bloom so much more effectively than if you're only ever doing notes app poetry and calling it good. try doing a rhyme sometime or searching out different poetry forms. for gods sakes. can we be done with instapoetry yet are we over it can we move on can we have a new thing

Omg hi!!!! And thank you yes I am!!!! It’s kind of bittersweet bc I do like japan but I’m excited to start the next chapter of my life. It’s so wild to me I only have 5 weeks of work left and then 2 weeks of messing around and then I’m home!!! Also we’re twins I also do one minute planks as part of my PT routine but I only do three sets lol. I do b putting weights on my back tho to up the ante/save time ig lol

Consistency is the secret sauce!!!! Which is why I’ve been doing my PT routine for like 2 hours/week every week since January since it’s the only thing that lets me run back to back 40-50 mile weeks without getting injured whew. And the volume is continuing to increase up into October so I can’t afford to fall behind. Strength is the backbone of all running.

omfg the logistics of s.t.a.r.s. makes me sick. like there is absolutely no need for them to work for 24 hours 7 days a week for what they are. in my mind it would be that alpha have the day shift and bravo have the night one but even then like. it makes no sense. because they would be 12 hour shifts... every day... that's. no.

if things are not in the place they belong WE DO NOT KNOW THEY STILL EXIST because IT IS IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND THEM (this is not your home bookshelf where you just scan until you find what you’re looking for, scanning these shelves takes LITERAL DAYS and a TEAM OF PEOPLE and is a major housekeeping effort)

please just put books you’re not taking home on one of the labeled carts, or say ‘we’re not taking these’ and leave them at the front, or pile them up somewhere for us to find later, or LITERALLY ANYTHING other than allowing a 5-year-old to just fling them willy-nilly onto shelves

Before he met Circe, there was just one other time where Roman fell in love. It was with his father’s suits, how extravagant each of them were and how he found them so much more appealing than the dresses and other feminine outfits his parents made him wear as a child. He despised them all, feeling as though he were shrouded in a skin that wasn’t his own so at times he would sneak into his father’s walk-in closet and ‘borrow’ an old suit he was sure the man wouldn’t miss, just for a little while until he felt like himself. He got away with this for a couple of years, dressing in secret until his mother dropped by unexpectedly one day, shrieking like a demon possessed upon catching her child dressed in one of her husband’s old outfits instead of the high-end dresses intended for his use.

it is so weird having a job that i don’t like...hate? or even actively dislike on some level? i am just so used to at least dreading that moment when i need to walk out the door and head to work but i actually kind of like my new job and there’s not really an aspect that i dread or hate so it’s just...throwing me off. like the person who manages scheduling asked me if i could cover an extra half-shift this friday and my immediate reaction was not an internal ‘fuck no.’ and i went home and thought about it and ended up texting her that i will take that shift actually. and i don’t even regret it because the job doesn’t make me hate being there. and it’s not even like a ‘dream career’ job or those things people actively aspire to do or whatever. i’m running machines in the basement of an embroidery shop. i get paid $13 an hour, no benefits. 15 minute lunch break, i’m on my feet for basically the whole 7-8 hours barring my break. but...i don’t have to deal with customers, and the boss and supervisors aren’t jerks and my coworkers are chill and my job expectations are clear and i actually like working with the machines and it’s kind of satisfying to fill orders or fix a problem on my own. we’ve even got two shop cats down there, and sometimes someone brings in snacks to share. it’s actually a nice place to work and it’s throwing me off my game a bit.
