Imagine PK suffering because being forced into a backseat means he has a first row view of how much Hollow is hurt by having to fight him, a father who raised them to be sacrificed and who killed all their siblings (save for Hornet but considering that PK has failed to deal with Radiance, he probably considers himself having killed her as well in a sense).

If Ghost somehow appeared in the picture Pale King would be so relieved because Ghost surely wouldn't give a flying scarab ball if PK survives or not. At least here things make perfect sense and are not painful (aside from the fact it is a discarded child Pale King had left to die but figures).

yeah this was the main draw of this au to me HAHAHA putting pk through More misery! radi using pks likeness to fuck with hollow knowing they wont lay a finger on them if they think pkradi/false king has even a slither of pale king left in there. so like theres a conflict in pk between "do i just shut up and let radi do her thing and potentially get hollow killed" or "do i try to intervene which will cause hollow to hesitate against her and also get them killed" pain!
