I was rewatching some of the og iCarly on Netflix recently and just got to iOMG- and I still think the Sam/Freddie kiss at the end was so out of nowhere and unnecessary (so was that whole arch but I digress)
Like the whole episode prior to that end scene is Carly and Freddie flirting and running around together scheming to set her up with another guy they think she’s into- and then we’re supposed to think Freddie’s into sam all of the sudden?? (Like he doesn’t even kiss her back smh)
I mean I have to admit a+ on the shock factor/cliff hanger of it all but the fact that it didn’t make any sense for the characters still outweighs that for me
Like imagine if they’d used that episode to actually give Sam a functional relationship and keep brad around for a little longer- they could’ve even made it into a creddie thing (maybe Carly and Freddie are scheming to get Sam and brad together and somehow end up alone together/something happens between them idk something cute like that) like let’s be real that episode would’ve worked way better as a lead up to a creddie kiss or something happening than a random seddie kiss lol
Anyway end of my little rant (btw fanfic writers feel free to jump onto my little train of thought here lol)

I don't think I'll ever forgive the iCarly reboot for making Creddie canon again. I've said it before and I'll say it a million times more: You don't date your best friends ex and you don't date your ex's best friend. Sam herself said that Freddie was the only guy she's ever loved. Sam asked Freddie to have dinner with her after he got out of the hospital in Sam & Cat.
Now, idk, I haven't watched since the Webicon episode, maybe Carly called Sam and asked for her blessing first. But in what world would Sam ever be genuinely happy with her ex boyfriend dating her best friend, the girl he had a crush on forever but seemingly got over. Carly had her chance to go after Freddie between iSaved Your Life and iOMG, and she didn't. Freddie could've told her if he still had feelings for Carly, and he didn't.
I get it. Jeanette is never, ever coming back to iCarly and Seddie would never happen onscreen again. Totally fine. But that doesn't mean her character is erased. Freddie is allowed and encouraged to move on, BUT NOT WITH CARLY. Any other person in the world would be fine, but not Sam's best friend since second grade.

kazutora was tired of this fight already, he wasn't even mad that you started it he just wanted it to stop
he doesn't even remember why it strated, you just were tired and had a bad day at work
he sigh, trying to reach for your hand "y/n please-" he says but you remove your hand from his grip harshly and he flinch
you freeze while he kept walking away from you, you could see that he was breathing heavily
he sat on the floor, not looking at you anymore, hiding his head in his arms
you still weren't moving, until you heard him cry
"iomg tora i'm so sorry if you thought i was gonna hurt you, i would never" you say, your voice law and calm, not wanting to make him panic
you walk to him slowly crouching down nexr to him still not touching
"do you want me to leave you alone?" you ask, he looks up at you, panicking and shaking his head "okay, i'm not leaving, i'm staying with you"
you look at his shake hands in his hair and you felt sorry for him
he already talked about his father and how he was with him and you were feeling sad that he still felt unsafe about that moment of his life
"can i touch you?" you ask, you saw him think for a second before he nod and you put your arms around him stroking his back "just know that never, i'll hurt you and that you, you're safe with me, you can cry and pour your heart out i'll still stay here with you, your feelings are valid babe" you say
you felt him cry on your shoulder as he hol onto you
after that you apologized for the fight and for everything you stayed on the floor, trying to calm him down as best as you could

Im roasting a chicken rn umm its organic obviously i brined in dill and lemonnn wtaerrrrr and then i seasoned with celtic salt pepper and some little bit of cayenne iomg i stuffed with onion carrot leek lemon garlic thyme rosemary omg i put butter+oliveoil and put some garlic salt and i put in oven….. wanna go to the beach rn with my uggs. My mom is in hospital rn but i showed her some uggs i wantedand she said oh i had those i didnt know u liked them and i was like wattt ofc i likes them idk why she wouldnt give them to me but maybe she just forgot so i just looked a little bit in the hallway cabinet and i found some longer black uggs with the tag on it!! And it said it was from austrailia so i love that alot. Also found shorter brown uggs which are like a darker brown and they are so adorable im so happy i found them.

Avatar: The Last Airbender! when i was like 9 or 10 nickelodeon had a page dedicated to fanfic on their official website and that was my first intro to fanfic
What was the first story you ever wrote (even if it was never posted) and what made you decide to write it?
iirc it was an icarly fanfic seddie was my ultimate otp and after the infamous iomg episode i wrote some fanfics based on that ep. basically just what would happen next type situations i was 13 so you can imagine the quality of those lmao
What’s a piece of advice you would give to your younger fic-writing self?
just keep writing. don't worry about what other people think (i know it's hard, it's still hard for present me) but you're writing stuff because you like it and that's all that matters. no one is gonna write those daydreams for you so you gotta do it
What’s an early fandom interaction that stuck with you (be it a nice comment, a friend you made, a fic that got a lot of feedback etc.)?
omg the day i saw @mallpretzles rec Clandestine Meetings just out of the blue made my fucking day. i was smiling like ear to ear when i saw them make that post welcoming me to the fanfic community for schitt's creek. and then made it even better when they asked to beta one of my fics (it's coming soon after i promise!)

First Fic: Patrick definitely wasn’t thinking about getting to look in those brown eyes everyday when he stepped foot on set. Or the fact that those same brown eyes made his stomach get butterflies everytime they crinkle up in amusement or even sometimes displeasure at things Patrick says or does
Newer Fic: It wasn’t until later, when David is doing a tree walk for Patrick that he figures it out. Patrick kisses him because he likes kissing David. No deception, no motive.
