I’m actually so obsessed with Carly and Freddie’s relationship in the icarly reboot

I feel like sitcoms usually lean towards doing more angsty/messy relationships because they seem more entertaining or maybe more interesting to write but I love that icarly is embracing this wholesome/healthy creddie dynamic

It’s so satisfying to see these two characters *finally* get together and (rather than constantly fighting or getting into some never ending cycle of breaking up and getting back together) just being genuinely happy together <3 🥹 We have enough messy/toxic relationships on tv already it’s just so refreshing to see a couple who actually communicate and are just generally in a healthy/happy/adorable relationship

Their whole vibe just screams *best friends who are in love with each other* in the most wholesome way possible and just I love it sm 🥰🥰🥰

the way season 3 of iCarly rev was the best season ever not (just) because of Creddie but bc the comedy and the writing went hard. the jokes were so so good and natural, the emotional scenes were handled so beautifully and so cleverly, the cast across the board were masters with their comedic timing, delivery and sometimes heartbreaking moments—i just can't stop praising this show for all that it is.

I feel like Freddie’s marriages never worked out because his previous wives were never Carly. I don’t think he ever got over Carly and I don’t think he ever will. So it makes sense that his previous marriages failed. Carly is all he ever wanted and I’m so glad he finally has her.

After almost 16 years Creddie is canon😭❣️

I can't control my emotions right now episode 3 of season 3,was just so perfect, from the dialogue to the scenes.

The emotions were so raw, this is the perfect episode in every single way.

I really like the way season 3 is handling their relationship, while it was clear Freddie did reciprocate Carly's feelings in the first episode he didn't breakup up with Pearl because of that and urged them to figure out what they mean to eachother now that they've become adults and where their friendship stands and while Carly was saddened by it she accepted it.

It goes to show that no matter what happens and even if their romantic relationship doesn't work out, they'd still always be eachothers best friend, they've been a constant in each other's lives and that will never change regardless.

Imagine waking up one day and seeing your childhood ship becoming canon?

I wrote about this in my review, BUT

That rare tender scene from “iWanna Stay With Spencer,” where Spencer tells Carly and Granddad Shay that he kept Carly’s inhaler since her last asthma attack, is a standout scene from the OG show.

Miranda Cosgrove, Jerry Trainor, and the writers top that in iCarly’s Season 3 finale.

Carly and Spencer’s dynamic has been one of the best aspects to watch evolve on the Paramount+ show.

Like, Trainor really knocked the wind out of me with his tonal shift here. I, like Carly, wasn’t ready. They do such great work together, and I don’t think enough people are acknowledging that.
