I had to block some accouns here cause they think they can promote open AI with ship art....that is so messed up. They are insulting every artist's hard work and insulting fandoms.
I am mad that some people are acting without shame cause they think our fanarts, our fics, our creations mean nothing.
Our creations were all made with love, with this generosity of sharing and with this wish of connecting with other fans. Open AI is a slap on every creative's face.
Fuck people who disrespect our crafts. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Minkowski would be so intense about introducing Eiffel and Hera and Lovelace to any of her loved ones back on Earth. She makes the crew sit through a PowerPoint presentation on suitable topics of conversation to discuss with her mother. She gives Dominik a folder of detailed guidance about how to interact with Hera because he's never met an AI before. She asks Eiffel several days beforehand if he has decided what he's going to wear to meet her family, as though Eiffel has ever in his life put thought into an outfit more than 30 seconds before getting dressed.
She tries to control every parameter of the interaction in a way that actually makes it more uncomfortable for everyone involved. She spends the entire time sitting right on the edge of her chair, looking anxiously between each of these people she cares about, trying to tell whether they are getting on, and attempting to communicate with them individually through urgent expressions.
And of course it doesn't work. Eiffel puts his foot in his mouth. Dominik is confused and curious about all the wrong things. Minkowski dares to leave the room for a few minutes and when she comes back, her mother is showing the crew her baby photos, and Minkowski knows she'll never live this down.

Can I take a wild swing at your Childhood friends AU?
I've had a few people reach out and ask if they can write stuff about that AU (or just straight up say they're going to take it without asking, haha..) so I'm gonna answer this one publicly as a blanket answer that's basically "yes"!
I don't own the concept of a childhood friends AU and I'm sure I'm not the first person to think about Usopp & Sanji meeting when they were young, so already I don't feel right telling people they can't take inspo from my AU. And also, I'd love to read more people's takes and interpretations on this AU and sanuso in general!
Sometimes I can be precious about my concepts in case I'd like to work them into my own comics/stories but I think this one is fair game! If you take direct inspiration from my work in your fic then I would appreciate credit/a link back, but like I said, I can't really claim ownership over such a broad concept.
Let me know if you publish it though so I can read it!

Are there any Professor Snart fics out there? The thought came to me and now I'm lying on the floor trying to get my brain to reboot.
Think about it. The gossip surrounding the hot new English professor. The casual but professional outfits. The captivating lectures. The charming smiles. The corny jokes. The starry-eyed students. The never-ending string of faculty friends and students visiting when he's in his office. The abundance of award-winning books he's written (James Patterson who?). The Dean is ready to offer him tenure if Len agrees to add another class or two to his roster because they have so many students begging to be in his class. He goes to his students' poetry slams to encourage them and has a writing workshop for inspiring authors. He sponsored a scholarship in his name for LGBTQ+ students. He volunteers to help with the theater department. Not long after he's hired, Professor Leonard Snart seems to be the only thing anyone wants to talk about at Central City University.

Even when the Prime Defenders don't trust themselves, they know they can and WILL trust the others. They prove it over and over again.
William didn't trust his morality or his ability to do good. He only saw "evil" death powers, and didn't believe that he could do anything right, with either his powers or his own internal compass. But he ALWAYS trusted Vyncent and Dakota. Even when the three of them had differing morals, even when Dakota and Vyncent went through periods of time when they had to relearn their abilities. He had total faith that the two of them would be able to do the right thing.
Vyncent didn't trust his sense of self or purpose in a world so different from his own. He had to constantly weigh what he had known in his home up against nebulous, shifting ideas of legality and morality that he didn't ever have a full grasp of; and on top of that he had to decide who HE was, separate of his home and his connection with the Greats. However, he always leaned on his connection with William and Dakota for purpose. He helped them with their problems, stood with them on what they believed in, and formed his identity as he came into himself on Prime around his friendship with the two of them.
Dakota doesn't trust himself to not lose anymore. He couldn't save Ashe, he couldn't save Tide, he couldn't save the girl who fell. But in spite of that, he trusts that William and Vyncent won't put him through that again. That they'll be a team and share the weight. That the two of them can hold their own, and he doesn't have to always protect them. And on top of that, he trusts that they'll continue to stay with him and share with him, so that he isn't ever powerless to save them if the worst happens.
Like yeah their trust is tested. Oh so many times. But despite it they still trust each other more than ANYTHING. They care about each other and would give the world for each other. God I love prime defenders

Dealing with Demodogs
written for @steddiemicrofic's December prompt - ‘pine’
also works for today's prompt for @steddieholidaydrabbles - 'Royalty AU'

“Dustin, I though you said you knew the way?” Steve could hear the unfamiliar voice carry through the pines surrounding his home.
Dustin’s voice he knew. “It’s your kingdom, Eddie, shouldn’t you know every place and resident?”
“I’m sorry, did you just suggest that anyone could know everything about the Enchanted Forest?”
Steve’s eyebrows rose, not at the realization that King Eadwine of all people was apparently searching him out, but that Dustin, usually so intelligent, would make such a basic mistake. He may not have been from here originally, but Dustin was usually more knowledgeable.
In any case, he apparently had royalty approaching, so he might as well meet them at the door - if only because it made him look all knowing. Especially because Dustin hadn’t quite figured out his little trick.
He heard their arguing quiet as he put the kettle on and opened the door just before they could knock. “Come in, I’ve just started tea.”
When the duo just stared at him for a moment, a small smirk found its way onto his face. “Unless I am wrong and you weren’t here to ask for my help?”
That seemed to shake both of them from their shock. “Tea sounds wonderful.” King Eadwine accepted, following him inside. He shooed two of his cats off the table so they could sit.
“So, what seems to be the problem?” He asked. “Unless the problem is Dustin, in which case I can’t help you, Your Majesty.”
“Hey!” Dustin objected, but the King grinned, clearly familiar with the younger man’s quirks.
“Please, call me Eddie.”
“Steve.”
“I wish it were as simple as Dustin’s ego, but alas, I am here to request your help on a slightly more serious matter. There have been reports of strange creatures along the Southern border. Dustin said you had helped him with something similar in the past - four legged with no eyes or fur and their head opens like a flower full of teeth?”
Steve frowned, knowing exactly what Eddie was referring to.
“Demodogs. How many?” He mourned the loss of the lighter atmosphere, but shifted easily into crisis mode, already thinking about logistics.
“There have been 5 sightings, though only three seen together at a time. We can’t be completely sure, of course, but it does seem to be a fairly small group of them.” Eddie explained, before Dustin jumped in.
“Max and Lucas went ahead to get more information, but you were the one who actually dealt with them last time. And you know how we only thought there was one but it ended up being a whole pack. I don’t think the situation is the same, but better safe than sorry, right?”
Steve remembered the entire experience far too clearly. So much for an easy favor. He sighed, getting up. He waved Eddie and Dustin off. “Finish your tea. I’ll get my bat and a few other things. I’ll have to let Nancy and Robin know I’m gone as well. The sooner we leave, the sooner its done.”
