PLUS...BLOCKBUSTERS_HANA YORI DANGO

A shout out to one of my favorite stories from Yoko Kamio (MANGA/ANIME)

Several countries have brought there own version of this story. I'm sure fans have their favorites. But I have an appreciation for all these actors and their version of DOMYOUJI TSUKUBA. So here they are..

Number 1: Made into a movie in Japan in 1995, this version isn't as popular. It did not follow the full story of the trials and tribulations gone through by Domyoji & Makino. But it had its own charm. Domyoji Tsukuba was played by SHOSUKE TANIHARA

Number 2: The first series in live action went to Taiwan. In 2001 it went from Hana Yori Dango to Meteor Garden. It was followed by a sequel Meteor Garden 2 after Meteor Rain. Domyouji Tsukuba name was changed to Daoming Si and Taiwanese dynamo JERRY YAN step into this iconic role.

Number 3: Japan decided to step back into the game with a series version that blew the 1995 movie out of the water. Back to the original name HANA YORI DANGO (aka BOYS OVER FLOWERS) it was 2005. A sequel in 2007 called HANA YORI DANGO RETURNS and a final movie in 2008. Domyouji Tsukuba was played by multi-talented JUN MATSUMOTO.

Number 4: Then it was SOUTH KOREA next. BOYS OVER FLOWERS came out in 2009. Domyouji Tsukuba became GU JUN-PYO. And was played by popular South Korean actor LEE MIN-HO.

Number 5: Another Remake with a much milder story but still damn good IMO. Once again the name changed to Meteor Garden as China did a remake of the Taiwanese version. And of course Domyouji Tsukuba became Daoming Si again. And newbie actor DYLAN WANG took on the role. And he was A M A Z I N G!!

In conclusion this is an iconic story and will probably will continue to be remade with a new name for Domyouji and his lady love Makino and the rest of the F4. But no matter what I will always have an appreciation for the characters. I may not like every version but I won't slam it. I just won't watch it.

For fans who choose to diminish these men and their outstanding performance by saying BEST ADAPTATION YET for their favorite is ridiculous. One is not better than the other. They are all BEST ADAPTATIONS. Each actor brought their best. And should be applauded. Each version should appreciated.

So to all the men here that played DOMYOUJI or DAOMING SI or GU JUN-PYO. YOU DID MARVELOUSLY ALL OF YOU.

METEOR GARDEN (2018 CHINESE ADAPTATION)

Here towards the end, though I still liked this show it took a detour from dramatic to dramatic stupidity. But Dylan Wang and Shen Yue shined as actors.

Daoming Feng had her son locked in his room to keep him away from Shancai and for him to be forced to marry Xiouzi. This was because Daoming Group was in major financial trouble and they needed a personal merger to fix the problems.

Daoming Si refused to eat or drink anything. F4 and Xiouxi came to Shancai begging her to talk sense into Si. So she did. She lied about not loving him. He knew she was lying and told her to remember everything they'd been through.

Shancai then walked in front the Daoming mansion and stood in one spot also refusing food and water.

Now any sane person knows if you don't have at minimum decent nourishment your body will not function properly. Daoming was lying on a comfortable bed. Shancai was on her feet with no food, water, bathroom or shower for days presumably while a stubborn Daoming Feng sat inside her house not giving a damn about Shancai or her own son's suffering. All to save Daoming Group. (And her daughter Zhaung said she was a great business woman)

Yes, I will always love this series but at this point one has to admit it got really unbelievable. But Kudos to Dylan Wang and Shen Yue for selling it.

"She's mine " huaze lei x reader

Imagine you as huaze lei's girlfriend that comes back from Paris France and daoming si fell in love with you.

Author pov: in this jing already moved on as well as lei and ah si and shancai are not dating yet. And the reader is a famous model

Huaze lei's POV :

I was very excited because my lovely girlfriend is coming back from her fashion week suddenly Ximen called out to me

"hey lei whats up with you you've been smiling like 1 hour already " he said.

I did not realize i was smiling

That was then i got a notification

I opened my phone and smiled even more

You: hey my sweets

Lei: hello darling , what time will you be back home?

You: i just landed

Lei : oh im at school when will you be coming?

You : hehehe did you really miss me that much my sweet leilei

I smile at that comment and replied

Lei: haha maybe but dont act like you dont miss me to

You : hehe i did not say nor act like i did not miss you

Lei: hehe

You : hehe ok i have to go now ill see you soon my love

You: love you 💖

Lei : ill be looking forward to it as well darling and i love you too

Third person POV :

The four ( ah si , Ximen , Meizuo and shancai ) looked at lei very confuse to why is he smiling . They never seen him this happy

Dong shancai POV :

I was hanging out with the F4 when suddenly i saw lei smiling

i never seen him smiling this much?

I thought and when Ximen ask lei why he was smiling he then got a notification i think? Then he smiled even more

The others looked at eachother confuse and i do the same

Then we heard Qing he yelled

" guys you theres a new student you have to take a look at this"

Y/n Pov :

I was outside the school in my outfit

I am so excited to see leilei again. i walk inside and then all eyes on me now as i walk a crowd started to surround me asking me questions

Daoming si POV :

We where walking following shancai and Qing he

I hate it when they are together

That was then we saw a crowd walking backwards towards us

The we saw a beautiful girl

"wow who's that " said Meizou

"she looks hot " said Ximen

"she's so pretty" said Qing he

While i just stared at her in awe she even tho i cant see properly due to the crowd but i saw her eyes its so beautiful .

No wait i like shancai damn ah si stop thinking about that

My thoughts were interrupted by a yell

"LEILEI"

I saw the girl ran towards lei and hugged him

Everyone gasp at her movement

Then lei just hugged her back and kissed her forehead

Wth is happening

Dong shancai POV:

I saw the incident in front of me and i can feel a pit of jealously and anger started to rise

Who is this girl?

Why is she hugging him?

What is her relationship with him?

I have a million questions in my mind right now

that was then Ximen said

" you know her lei?"

Huaze lei Pov:

When y/n ran to hugged me i was so happy that she is back and i kissed her forehead

Until Ximen interrupted i groan while y/n just giggled which made me smile

god i love her so much

" i missed you so much leilei " she said while smiling

"i missed you to y/n" i replied as i was to hugged again but got interrupted again

"lei you did not answer my question " Ximen said and i replied

"everyone this is my girlfriend Y/n L/n " And everyone was so shocked and i heard them whispering things like

"Omg thats his girlfriend"

"He is so lucky shes so prettty ''

Re-Watching Gilmore Girls season 1 episode 21…. Max really sent A Thousand yellow daisies to her work!!

This reminds me of watching Meteor Garden episode 45… Daoming Si sent 520 Roses to Dong Shancai Cute part she counts them and 1 is missing.. he delivers it personally 🥰

I’m tad jealous now…. I mean I’ve never been given such a grand jester….

Ok so newsflash for the next person I date….. I’m now expecting something different as a grand jester if you expect me to believe that you love me AS I am NOT a flower kind of girl but I doubt I can take you seriously if you don’t….

So a few hints ~ I like chocolate, coffee, bbq chips, and …well I’m sure you get the picture but remember it should be about I say at least 100 of something ~ 😉

Meteor Garden I saw the trailer for this, and since I loved the South-Korean version from 2009 (Boys over Flowers) I wanted to give it a try, even though there are 49 episodes! I enjoyed it, even though it was a little bit long, and there are bits I think could have been skipped, but hey. There are some differences from the version I like the most, still it is a good run. I like the actors and they bring in some fun moments and even though there are quite many people to keep track of, they all have their moments. Title: Meteor Garden / Liúxīng Huāyuán Director: Lin Helong Watched language: Chinese Genre: Romantic comedy Network: Hunan Televison / Netflix Episodes: 49 (on Netflix) Release year: 2018 Synopsis: The story centers around an ordinary girl, Dong Shancai, who is accepted into the most prestigious university in the country, Ming De University. Shancai is a girl from a family that barely makes ends meet. Due to the nature of her personality, she immediately clashes with F4, an elite clique composed of the four most popular boys in the institution, especially its spoiled, rich and arrogant leader - Daoming Si. Gradually, Daoming Si falls deeply in love with Shancai, only to realize that she is in love with one of his best friends, Huaze Lei. Eventually, the four boys begin to acknowledge Shancai's unyielding personality that is like her namesake: a weed that can never be brought down. Shancai begins to see the good in the boys, paving the way for friendships and an eventual romance. However, Daoming Si's mother strongly disapproves of Shancai due to her social status and family background, thus the former doing all things in order to break Shancai and Daoming Si's relationship.

I'm currently looking for a 18+ partner to create a 1x1 MxF romantic/dramatic/hurt-comfort/whump RP for the Thai drama F4 Thailand, or for any of the Boys Over Flowers series of adaptations, with me.

Here is a general plot synopsis for anyone who is interested (this applies to all shows mentioned below, and details may differ between adaptations):

Makino Tsukushi is the only poor student at Eitoku Gakuen, the school of the ridiculously rich and privileged that is ruled by Flower 4 or F4, a group of four boys who come from extremely powerful families: Domyouji Tsukasa, the leader and heir of the Domyouji World Finance Group; Hanazawa Rui, the introverted son of a large company; Nishikado Sojiro, a player who is the heir of a tea ceremony school; and Mimasaka Akira, a madam killer with ties to the underground. If a student gets on the F4's bad side, he/she gets a red notice and is bullied and driven out of school.

Makino hopes to pass her days quietly-- without drawing any attention to herself-- but one day, she stands up to Domyouji in defense of her friend. The next day, Makino gets the dreaded red notice. Even though she is harassed, Makino decides to keep going to school because she is a "tough weed". She declares war right back on the F4. Her resolve gets the attention of her crush Hanazawa Rui and oddly enough, rouses romantic feelings in her worst enemy, Domyouji Tsukasa.

We can follow the plot from the shows themselves, or branch out in AUs and our own ideas of how the story should go... I'm open to new possibilities~! I would love to craft a story together with my partner.

METEOR GARDEN (2018 CHINESE ADAPTATION)

Good girl Shancai (SHEN YUE) couldn't leave her friend lost in a blizzard so she had to go looking, completely unaware that some mean girls lied to her. She was caught in the storm basically prepared to die when the man that loves her came to her aid.

Daoming Si (DYLAN WANG) found Shancai near death and jump into action. Warming her up in the cabin by stripping down and cuddling they were awaken when two Canadians entered the cabin.

Daoming Si and Shancai get dressed and he gallantly carries her on his back to his luxurious home. Can't deny Daoming Si went about it in the wrong way often times but he definitely loved a girl called Dong Shancai.
