tbh a lot of the hate on Viv is somewhat based on lies
don't get me wrong she has messed up but I've also seen so many lies being spread about this woman it's honestly a bit disturbing
I'd take what people say about her with a grain of salt
and there's nothing wrong about liking a show even if the creator isn't someone you like^^
I've seen a handful of people talk about her on TikTok (which is a TERRIBLE, and I repeat, TERRIBLE source of information outside of maybe one or two cool life hacks or educational videos from certified professionals) so sometimes I'd rely on Twitter for said information. But even then, you don't go around saying "Ah, twitter, my favourite source of information on controversies!" because we ALL know Twitter is filled with unbelievable amounts of hate on Any Topic to Ever Exist! And I am not even exaggerating.
So yes, wholeheartedly, I agree that anything that's said about anyone should be taken with a grain of salt. Anywhere. Because, to be fair, sometimes even with evidence that seems concrete, you can't 100% trust it because there's people out there doing stuff like Forgery 😭 which is honestly horrifying to think about.
So, in conclusion, if you ask me, I think you're 100% allowed to like something without supporting the creator. After all, Viv isn't the only one behind Hazbin Hotel, so when I see posts saying this show in its entirety is mid/bad, it makes me feel so sad for the other good, talented artists who have worked on it :( Plus, I think these people have only seen episode 1, and that's like... the only episode that was written entirely by Viv alone (she is not a very good writer LMAO). I'm sure if you gave it another chance, you'd maybe like it a little more! /nf
Hazbin Hotel isn't everyone's cup of tea, I understand that, and you're allowed to not like something because the creator is not a very good person, but in my personal opinion, separating art from the artist is also an option you could choose, instead of being a hater towards people who genuinely want to enjoy themselves on the internet ^^

thoughts on how oshi no ko has portrayed what happened to hikaru (thus far) and any ideas for what his motives/role in the story is?
Honestly? I think it's doing a pretty good job of portraying it. TW for discussions of childhood sexual abuse below.
When it's first introduced to us that Hikaru was raped by the adult actress, Aqua doesn't have much reaction. On an intellectual level, he gets it, but on an emotional level in terms of what this means for Hikaru, for his development and for his pain, he doesn't get it at all. It's only when we get to Akane's expressed horror ("that's sick!") that we get an actual reaction.
Tumblr media
The previous chapter was honestly acting and a flashback as it actually happened, and I appreciated that they showed it as violent.
Tumblr media
That's something so often missing from stories of older women who rape younger boys (see Mary Kay Letourneau). It's not a love story. He's not lucky. It's violence.
Like, I spoke about this with a friend after the chapter, but the wiki literally says he was "implied to have been raped." Implied? He was ELEVEN.
Tumblr media
I don't think the wiki writers are intentionally being obtuse or dismissive, but there is a subconscious way in which a lot of the world, across cultures, reacts to female predators of young boys in a way that is incongruent with how we react to men who prey on young girls. And to be fair, the latter is a far more prevalent issue but still.
So anyways, I was grateful the final panel of the flashback showed Hikaru being dragged, violently, away from a girl his own age whom he likes by an older woman who won't even introduce his son as his son. Anything Hikaru has, he cannot have.
I've written about Hikaru before, but yeah, he's a scary serial killer at this point who is likely going to target Ruby and/or Kana. He's a final antagonist, obviously, and his past abuses don't excuse him. He's somewhat modeled after Lucifer, and not the Hazbin Hotel version.
But I don't think Aqua's final challenge is stopping Hikaru.
Aqua playing Hikaru in these scenes is challenging him to do what playing Ai has provoked Ruby to do: to empathize and further understand their parents. But, the problem is that Aqua can relate to Hikaru's anger and hatred already.
Again, as I wrote previously, Aqua already is very much like Hikaru (albeit at a far earlier stage): trying to reenact and kill the perceived causes of his trauma and not able to see that he's not going to be happy with such an ending because you can't kill your way to peace.
What Aqua actually needs to do is to come to understand Ai. Ruby, imo, is the one who will come to understand Hikaru, and probably forgive him (not excuse, but this is very likely where it's going).
Ai seemed to, after all. She reached out to Hikaru's proxy (the stalker) and definitely recognized the white roses and knew who had sent him.
Tumblr media
Yet she still reached out to her stalker as a human being and empathized with him after he had stabbed her.
Tumblr media
If it had been Hikaru standing there himself, she would have done the same.
And lest we think this is solely an example of her toxic wanting-to-please-people trait taking control, this was also the moment--the only moment in Ai's life--where she was finally able to express herself without a lie. It can be both an indictment of the entertainment industry prioritizing pleasing others over your own life and pain and Ai's moment of triumph even amidst tragedy.
Tumblr media
Hence again why Aqua's challenge is to understand his mother, not to kill his father as justice for her. He needs to recognize her love for him as her son. She wanted him to live. She wanted him to love. She didn't want him to obsess over her in death.
Tumblr media
Ruby, on the other hand, needs to understand Hikaru... and Aqua. Thus far, while she's had the best growth of everyone in this entire series, she is still idolizing Sensei and Aqua thereby.
Tumblr media
She needs to see him as a person just as Aqua needs to see Ai as a person. Seeing Hikaru's anger and pain and seeing Aqua's go hand in hand for Ruby (again, not a coincidence Aqua is playing young Hikaru in the movie).
As for where Hikaru goes from there, I don't know. He might end his own life like the stalker proxy did, but I think the fact that that's already happened makes it less likely. He might find new life even if like, in prison, or he might die sacrificing himself for his kids. It's too early to make those exact predictions... but I think Ruby understanding him and empathizing is key.

Anyway I think I should watch Hazbin Hotel in Italian because I listened to some of the songs and holy shit what is this level of dubbing and adaptation???????? like?? it's actually really damn good???????? bro i am shook
I thought to translate some parts of my fave songs that made me go 👀 the most lol
(the videos have English subs up to Hell's Greatest Dad if you're interested)
Veleno (Poison)
Questa è la vita che mi piace Un altro amante e tante telecamere E l’illusione di scegliere
Translation:
This is the life I like Another lover and so many cameras And the illusion of choice
The last verse coupled with the visual of the actors hits much harder, IMO. I also like how we already start with Angel's denial that no, really, he loves this life!
Tu sei il mio veleno Dammi il tuo veleno Non posso farne a meno Mi scivola in gola e va giù Veleno, ne sono pieno Anche questa notte per me forse è l’ultima
Translation:
You are my poison Give me your poison I can't give up on it It goes down my throat Poison, I'm full of it This night as well might be the last one for me
In English, Angel is just saying that Valentino feeds him poison and he's addicted to it. In Italian, he's outright asking for it. Also, Angel is afraid every night that he might die for the abuse?????
Mentire è il mio mestiere So sempre quando quel che dico ti piacerà Rinuncio alla mia identità
E l’orgoglio che io ho Fino infondo ingoierò
Translation:
Lying is my job I always know when you'll like what I say I renounce to my identity
And I will swallow My own pride
It's one thing to get good at lying, and another to do it for a living.
Also I prefer the bridge in this version to the English one. We know he's swallowing poison by this point. It's more poignant to add that he's also swallowing his own pride and dignity.
(related to this, during his breakdown with Husk in the hotel, I adore that they translated "Do you know how much I'm worth?" with "Ma lo sai quanto costo?". To be worth in English could also refer to his general status, but in Italian, it can only be intended as his price as a prostitute. Man.)
Muoio, è troppo il veleno Anche se tu mi riempi non sono pieno Del veleno, così mi avveleno Questa notte spero soltanto che sia l’ultima
Translation:
I'm dying, the poison is too much Even if you fill me up I'm not full Of poison, I'm going to get poisoned I only wish this night will be my last one
... do I need to say anything? :( Riccardo Suarez is just. man. He's the perfect counterpart to Blake Roman.
Not much to point out about Fai Schifo, Baby, except that Husk says "Baby, I like you this way" and Angel Dust calls him "love" :) a bit more seriously, "fare schifo" sounds much harsher to me than "you suck", which would be the closer translation - it more literally means "to be disgusting". I really hope the Italian fandom is not as discourse-happy as the English one :^)
(also "passivello da bordello" cracks me up just as much as "power bottom at rock bottom" dhsjfhsdk it literally means "a little bottom from a brothel" but it sounds good 😭)
Il Papà Migliore Dell'Inferno (Hell's Greatest Dad)
Lucifer calls Alastor "sguattero" which is a pretty dispregiative word for "busboy" lmao, more like "scullion".
Chi è che da sempre c'è? Chi da sempre ha fede in te? Chi trasforma tutto in cabaret? L'assistente alla regia? Proprio io, il demone Che ha dato il nome all'Hazbin Hotel Inoltre ti ho sturato la toilette Proprio oggi, grazie tante
Translation:
Who has always been here? Who has always believed in you? Who turns everything into a cabaret? The assistant director? That's right, it's me, the demon Who named the Hazbin Hotel Also I unclogged your toilet Just today, thank you so much
Very interesting that now Alastor's nun cosplay directly refers to his faith in Charlie, and not just his loyalty to the hotel :)
Also nice touch that he once again gives himself credit for the name of the hotel lol, he really hated that Lucifer didn't like it
And personally I love the effect of his voice - it's different from the og dub, and it reminds me of the earliest Disney movies Italian dubs, it's nostalgic <3
Quindi Non Sai (You Didn't Know)
Tutto qui, Sera? Charlie, non esagerare No! Vuoi di più, Sera? Non vedi che un demone può amare? Se è così salvate un'anima Che altrimenti sempre brucerà
Translation:
Is that all, Sera? Charlie, don't go overboard No! Do you want more, Sera? Don't you see that a demon can love? If that's so save a soul That otherwise will burn forever
I just like a lot more how this comes across :) it's more accusatory and also it straight up says that a demon can not only improve, but love.
Another miscellaneous lines that I prefer are "Ora la bimba lo sa!" ("Now the girlie knows!") over "Now the cat's out of the bag", because Lute is an asshole; "È questo quello che mi disgusta!" ("This is what disgusts me!") over "That's what the fuck I've been saying!" because it's a more elegant emphasis; and "Come mai nascondi che tu hai le ali come noi?" ("Why do you hide that you have wings just like us?") because it's more evocative and even more cruel since Vaggie actually got her wings ripped out.
Finale
translation:
I drag here What's left of me But I know that death Wanted me for itself If they think I would die as a hero I'm sorry but they're all lies I only long for my freedom From the contract that distorts my will And when I'll unfold my wings Finally I will bend the world
First of all, Nanni Baldini is slaying just as much as Riccardo Suez in the emotional department bro what is that voice. But most importantly, "From the contract that distorts my will". This is much more poignant than the English version, and it paints Alastor as not only a puppet, but really as if part of him is acting against his own will. man.

Tickle headcanons hazbin hotel bois 🔥🔥
Tumblr media
Angel: 90% ler 10% lee.
Ler:
He's really good at sneaking up on people and even better at tickling due to all the extra hands. get into a tickle fight with this guy and prepare to be wrecked lmao
Lee:
BUT if you're lucky enough, you'll catch him off guard. And then HE'S the one getting wrecked. If he wasn't so sneaky and slick he would be probably the biggest lee in the whole show (imo)
Worst spots would probably be armpits and knees. He just seems like that kinds guy
Alastor: 70% ler 30% lee
Ler:
He's also pretty slick when it comes to tickling people. He doesn't do it often. More when you're visibly annoyed at him. He sees you're annoyed and boom. Tickles. Lots of tickles. He always just sits there silently while tickling you. And when he's getting ready to tickle you he says something like "You're never fully dressed without a smile, dear!"
Lee:
Not actually all that ticklish.. He has a very sensitive neck though. Just one little tickle and you've got him squirming away like a whole worm. He won't actually laugh though. Hed probably try to hide his weakness to tickles by attempting to get his attacker off while struggling not to giggle or squeak. Yet he squeaks. A lot.
Husk: 50% ler 50% lee
Ler:
More of a casual/accidental ler, like you'd be sitting next to him and his wings or his tail would just be brushing against you and he doesn't even knowHDJAJSJWJQODNDOAI
Lee:
Definetly lets out small purrs or meows while laughing from tickles. It's so cute lmao
Kinda just sits there and takes it.
Probably has really ticklish ribs and sides
Sir Pentious: 10% ler 90% lee
Ler:
Also a common accidental ler. But usually of you tell him his tail is tickling you or something he'd usually stop. But if he's feeling mischievous he'd either keep going or give the craziest tickle attack EVER.
Mf will wrap his tail around you and tickle you silly. Actually really fucking good tickling people but doesn't do it often
Lee:
Definitely the type to try and hide the fact that he's ticklish
"W-What? No, I'm not ticklish!"
If his hood was down before you started tickling him Its gonna be out.
Definitely the frantic squirmer type. Practically breakdancing 💀
Also a squealer.
I feel like his tummy and the tip of his tail would be his absolute DEATH spots.
Probably gonna do a part 2

ok I finished Hazbin Hotel S1 and while I think it's a bit uneven in places,
actually, I also think in places, it's really really good?
spoilers below
The plot hook of the dead angel is actually very effective. I'm interested in where that goes and how it affects things. I gotta say the overlords are for sure holding my interest right now; I love a ball of sunshine but I'm looking forward to Charlie becoming a bit more tempered than she currently is, a little more cognizant of the nuance and the real difficulty inherent in helping someone seek redemption.
Alastor is very fun of course. But in the last episode Angel Dust is jumping out as a standout! Ep 4 was very visceral in its presentation of violence and abuse imo and the voice actor absolutely crushed it. I wish the e motional development between Husk and Angel had taken a bit more time to develop and been drawn out over at least two episodes instead of coming a bit out of nowhere in Ep 4, but I found it actually pretty impactful in the space of a single episode regardless of how sudden the development was. Enjoyable, arresting, not bad at all 👍

SPOILER WARNING: Scott Pilgrim Takes Off
So I saw Scott Pilgrim Takes Off, and for once, I think it’s actually an okay anime!
The writing had quite the improvement from the comics and film version (for the most part), and the LGBT+ content within it making a slight improvement when it comes to women especially (I’ll get to that later), though most of the jokes didn’t land as well since it gives off “Hello fellow kids” levels of trying too hard to be quirky and funny simultaneously.
Though most audiences don’t like how they “killed” off Scott, I personally didn’t mind as much since it means having the 7 Evil Exes to be more interesting to watch, (though Ramona is pretty bland in terms of characterization imo). I also enjoy Future Scott since I feel him being written as the man who lost it all should have been how the story started in the comics while showing flashbacks as comic Scott (he could be the unreliable narrator if necessary).
The animation is also pretty good. In terms of character design, I’m still pretty so so about the character designs within the main cast who aren’t antagonists in terms of body diversity; if it weren’t for hair and small facial features like freckles and wrinkles, how many of the characters would you recognize in a silhouette where it hides those features that help tell the difference between characters (similar problem with the main cast of Hazbin Hotel)?
In case of flaws, it’s how they handled Achellian relationships in the anime. For example, having Wallace being the only gay man within the main cast of “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” be written as a homewrecker; it’s like trying to make Valentino the only form of pansexual rep within Hazbin Hotel (thank god Viv didn’t).
Another thing that is a prevalent problem even in the comics and to a lesser extent the film is the constant identity crisis of seemingly still not figuring out the main genres within the anime.
TL;DR: Scott Pilgrim Takes Off is an improvement upon the comics and the film based on said comic series when it comes to sapphic women, how serious topics (I.e. grooming) are covered (somewhat), and art and animation style, however it still has more work to do in terms of LGBT+ rep for men, writing, and committing to the main genres so it doesn’t come off as a bloated mess with inconsistent pacing.

NIFFTY KEEP STABBING ANGELS MY BBY
my thoughts below the cut
so I watched Hazbin Hotel! and I have some thoughts
for the extreme fans and the I see no flaw fans please move on ! don't even read this !! it holds opinions that you won't like so protect your own happiness and move on!!!
okay so, I liked it overall!
Personally I'm not a big fan of the art style but that's just a me thing (this is not critical of the art style it's just not my thing) , so it took me a bit to actually watch it.
The designs are hit and miss for me some are great imo others are mid. (none of em are bad perse tho)
I really like Niffty genuinely one of my favorites!
I like all the personalities the characters and their bonds with eachother are very well written and the music is pretty good.
so now some did not likes...
Some of the designs are just not it especially with the fact that (from what I know) based alot of them off of animals ,I just don't see half of em
yes Angels Dust is clearly a spider and husk a winged cat but ,you cannot tell me that charlie is based on a goat I simply do not see it at all and feel like she couldve used more of those features , same with Vaggie she's supposed to be a moth but it's barely there and that's a shame!
I also found it predictable but that's not always a bad thing not constantly being on the edge of my seat is nice for a change
that's most of it I'd love to see more of this show

Unpopular Opinion #012
tbh I just can’t get into Helluva Boss as much as I am Hazbin Hotel, and I’m kinda concerned that I’m gonna fall out of that one too as the show continues.
The immediate introduction into Helluva included Blitzo saying an r slur, which immediately turned me off. Yes this is Hell and they are bad people and it should show that blah blah blah I know. Doesn’t mean I can’t dislike it anyway.
The only thing wrong with first episode that I can think of rn without re-watching it was how easily Millie got taken out lmao. 😂 So all good there.
I’m neutral on Stolas because cheating on his wife is a dick move, but honestly our tiny impression of Stella is very unfavorable and mildly abusive and I’ve already gone on a rant about that. Honestly I pity him more than anything else? Hope to see more father/daughter bonding. Second episode was pretty good.
And then the third episode and there goes Blitzø’s mouth again rattling off sexist and both slut and sex-worker shaming slurs, none of which is ok imo. Am I surprised? No, this is Hell, it’s expected. Do I dislike it anyway? Sí. Add that up to his behavior on insta which is pretty much just sexually harassing Moxxie? 😬
Yeah, I’m not a fan of Blitzø. And seeing as he’s the main character...
And yes, there was the kidnapping arc in the insta (noncanon as it may be) that showed that he actually is cared for by his coworkers + Loona + Stolas and we’ve gotten some hints at his having a more complex character from his conversations with Robofizz and Loona. But it’s just... too little too late? I’m just so completely disinterested in his character at the moment and thus the majority of the plot. I can’t even be like, ‘well he’s the antagonist -‘ They’re all antagonists, but he’s the one I’m supposed to root for? Hmm.
I’m holding out for some character growth, but this isn’t even a vaguely-redemption related story like Hazbin is. This is The Office meets a telenovela. Which could be fun and interesting, but doesn’t lend me high hopes.
At this point, just give me Moxxie and Millie going on date nights and assasinations with occasional cameos of Loona and Octavia + family.

[Hazbin Hotel Meta] Alastor’s Ethnicity + An Aside on Human!Alastor
Meta time, lovelies~
(reblogs appreciated! ;w; )
So I've seen Al's ethnicity as a subject of discussion on and off between Twitter and Tumblr, and it’s been coming up more frequently. Being the type of individual that I am, I'd like to chime in with some collected thoughts and theory (of which I hope influences further depictions of Human!Alastor, as currently, he is being whitewashed. I don’t mean this to be explicitly aggressive at all, but I’m being straight up). PLEASE attempt to refrain from knee-jerk reactions or going on the defensive; the latter-most part of this post is meant to raise awareness/start level-headed and respectable discussion. We’re all individuals here fully capable of civil discussion, and with, what I’d like to believe, best intentions at heart :)
ALRIGHT, SO:
To begin, we know for a definitive fact that Al isn't wholly white. VivziePop stated this on 'Vivzie Streem- WHATS IN THE BOX -#7' @ 0:09:48, saying that Alastor is actually mixed (as a mixed ethnicity person myself, I gotta say this was pretty exciting to hear!); this was also listed and cited/sourced via Alastor’s Fandom wiki. Beyond this however, she didn't go into any more detail.
Being that Al was born in New Orleans, and looking at the census data for Louisiana from the very late 1890s through about 1900 or so (imo, the most likely years Al was born. I don’t see him being over 35 years of age), the state was nearly split 50/50 white persons and Black persons (of African descent or otherwise; as the Black ethnic group comprises of more than just people of African ancestry). Urban areas (i.e. New Orleans, his city of birth) leaned more white, but still had a sizable Black population (approx. 1/3 of urban populace from the very late 1890s to ~32% in 1900).
Screenshot below for quick reference [1900], can download and zoom (will include link to full census report via comment).
Tumblr media
With this information at hand, it’s easy, entirely reasonable and incredibly likely that Al is half white and half Black. Now, this may very well be the case (and I’d be just as excited if it is), but after a day or so thinking and musing on this theory/likelihood, I came to refine it further. Here, we talk about Alastor having Creole identification.
Now while being Creole (born in Louisiana, which Alastor canonically is) doesn’t inherently denote any certain racial denomination mixed or otherwise, it is not uncommon (to the point of being quite common) to indeed have mixed ethnic  heritage. Creoles commonly hail from European (French and/or Spanish, and then later including Irish, Italian and German) ancestry along with Black (Caribbean and/or African) lineage, though it is not particularly rare either to also/instead have Native American, Dominican, or Cuban blood, as well.
It’s again, reasonably likely, that Alastor is more mixed race than simply biracial, given Louisiana’s lengthy and complex (and sad) history from colonial times throughout the 1900s. However, what I am confident in saying, long as VivziePop aims to be historically accurate and just, Al is almost certainly some mix of Black and European at the very least.
This...makes me smile.  It really does.
The Status of Human!Alastor
As an Afro-Latinx person myself with close European ancestry (great grandfather and great grandmother on my mother’s side hailed from Ireland and Naples, respectively), it’s beyond cool and validating to see mixed PoC representation especially when it comes to peoples’ and regions that had a lot going on colonization/immigration-wise. The stories of mixed-race people are interesting and fraught with their own complex struggles, especially the further back in time you go. This does lead me back to a frustrating point I made earlier though: depictions of Human!Alastor being whitewashed.
With all the white characters and white-passing PoC characters we have in media already...which is most of them, it’s just...disappointing and (to me) well, as I said, frustrating to see folks just straight up ignore non-white-passing skin and/or features...again. I’m mixed and while definitely clockable as such, am not white-passing; and I think for many PoC of any racial/ethnic makeup, it feels good and is beyond appreciated to see yourself represented.
Now, obviously, this doesn’t apply to people who were not aware of Alastor being mixed, but to folks who did know, and decided to further erase PoC as per usual MO for society, that’s an ‘Oof’ feeling moment...
---------------------------------------------------
Again, this isn’t meant to be aggressive at all, I just mean to 1) meta, of course, but also 2) air some grievances/disappointment. I love, like ADORE this community with all my heart and it has been a blessing to my mental health and creativity, but like everyone else, I have thoughts!  And as I’ve happily seen be the case for the most part in this fandom, we can make discussion without getting aggressive or vitriolic ;w;/  (Now if someone comes for you unprovoked and tries to start something off some nonsense, I’m all for being the one to finish it. Don’t ever take any toxic bs from folks, you handle that how you see fit. My 2 cents).
--------------------------------------------------
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR READING ALL OF THIS AND I APPRECIATE YOUR TIME! I truly hope you enjoyed it and can walk away with some cool thoughts to chew on and, hopefully, a new way or two to approach how you view/create content for a character/s. I do these write-ups and metas not only to get my creative juices flowing, but to also get myself thinking critically, and to get others thinking more critically, too~ If they can bring anything at all positive to the community or get healthy discussion going, I feel more than fulfilled. Thanks again for stopping by!

What if tms got picked up to be on television
STORY TIME!!!! TLDR: I didn't answer the question lol i just wrote an essay!!!!
WAY back in 2016, that's what i wanted, then I think after about a few months in, I changed my mind and wanted it to be something SOLEY produced by me. You see, with the old 2016 TMS series and the first 2 pieces of content created for it, (the Pilot and Friends In-Deed), I had not intended to be creating TMS long term, I was just going to do that stuff to help develop the series. (I was really young back then. Thinking back, though the stuff is not that good IMO, I am impressed I was even able to complete projects of that scale.)
But while I was producing the content and getting more attached to the project and its characters, I realized one important thing, something that a lot of people that don't know much about cartoons getting 'picked up' don't know the extent of. You see, usually what happens with this kind of stuff is that they buy the rights to have your cartoon produced, and while you do have a bit of say in what all plays out in the long run, the studio and network executives have the ultimate say because THEY are the ones producing the funding, not you, and in their eyes something specific that they believe will make them more money, they will jump at that oppurtunity. (IE - If they don't like something, anything, they can change it and you have ZERO control over it.) In other words, in production, you 'sell' the idea to the studio. They don't just hand you money and let you go wild.
Around 2017 is when I had this realization, and it completely scared me off from wanting to have help with funding like at all. Especially from a pre-existing studio. All during that time to around present day I would have told you, "Fuck no! I'm not giving away my rights of my baby to any networks! They can pry it from my cold dead hands! >:(!!"
But the way shows are consumed and produced has changed a lot over the course of the past 6 or so years. There are plenty of examples, but keeping it more related on the cartoon side of things, one major example I can give you is Hazbin Hotel. That show is being produced by a studio, yet Vivienne kept full creative control and even is still allowed to produce/sell merch despite the show not being out yet. This is pretty much unheard of. But the fact that it has happened gives me lots of hope for the future of both the animation and entertainment industry respectfully. When I saw that THAT was possible, considering her show is also lore driven and has a completely different vibe than pretty much any pre existing show currently on television, it made me change my perspective.
I'm going to keep doing what I'm doing on YouTube for TMS on my own, and if the right people come along, I will probably cry NGL lol it was always an absolute dream of mine to produce a show professionally, and with the way the industry is changing, I see that what i had always wanted to do is actually an achievable goal that does not leave me with any ounce of unhappiness. I had always believed that I would have to give away my creation with a 50/50 chance that it would go how I wanted. But now I know that what I want to do is possible... And it gives me so much hope.
In conclusion, with the right people on board, I would totally be down for that, and in fact, I now have a slight hope in the back of my mind that it will indeed happen someday in the future. Like I said, I'm just going to continue on how I'm doing on YouTube and such. Perhaps I will change up my production management a bit, but I'm ok where I am now. But to actually answer your question, I would love for that to happen, would literally cry of happiness lol.
