Inutile dirlo…Aveva ragione Lucio Dalla.
E’ sempre stato avanti con i tempi, specie nei testi delle sue canzoni.
Da giorni mi ritorna nelle orecchie questa canzone e così, senza troppi fronzoli, decido di riproporvela all’ascolto e all’esame.

In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, here's Lily's full formation overhead!
I really wanted to show the full variation in color and wing structure of the group. The wing shape is all based on different birds as that was the easiest way for me to visualize different skills between each dragon breed.
Would love to draw more of the middleweights and lightweights! I wasn't able to give them much detail here.

Yeah, the timeline is strange but the thing that confuses me most about it is Wu's age. During the first Serpentine war Wu looks young. And then hands of time says that shortly after that Krux and Acronix betrayed the elemental alliance. But that was apparently only fourty years ago- if Wu is like at least a thousand years old, why'd he only age so much in the last four decades?? Did time stop for him for like a few hundred years and prevented his body from aging or what the heck was going on???
Wait, no- I just realized that in a flashback at some point I remember seeing when Garmadon turns.. well, fully evil and falls into the underworld after trying to steal the golden weapons, Wu is still young. And I assume that that event was a rather recent one since Garmadon had been stuck in the Underworld all that time. So- he (Garmadon) must've been with Misako and at least expecting Lloyd, whether he was aware of it or not- ..so Wu aged multiple decades within, probably, not even a single decade??? Now I'm even more confused. "There's something I haven't told you." *Reveals backstory of a villain that has to do with him.* BRO HOW ABOUT YOU REVEAL HOW THE FUCK YOU AGED LIKE THAT?!
I should stop thinking about this, it'll just give me another headache and I frankly care more about figuring things for some au's out that this man's life. Tbh, I'm not sure if the ninja should even see him as a trustworthy person if he keeps so many secrets and only tells them about it when it's too late.

Dragons
I painted 8 dragon figurines to look like characters from Naomi Noviks Temeraire series!
It is done, my final goal of having Lily’s formation as figurines has been completed. Originally this obsession started with Iskierka so she will be here as a bonus to the formation.
Each dragon has its own post with more pictures in detail.
For those wondering what minatures I based the characters on, here is them from left to right:
Immortalis: “Young Bronze Dragon” by Wizkids - Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures
Maximus: “Krondys, Son of Dracothion” by Warhammer - Age of Sigmar
Nitidus: “Young Red Dragon” by Wizkids - Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures
Dulcia: “Young Green Dragon” by Wizkids - Nolzur’s Marvelous Miniatures
Messoria: “Young Bronze Dragon” by Wizkids - Attack Wing
Lily: “Ancient White Dragon” by Lord of the Print
Iskierka: “Young Red Dragon” by Lord of the Print
Temeraire: “Gold Dragon” by MiniMonsterMayhem
I am aware that the sizes of the dragons do not match their sizes from the book perfectly. Maximus does have the biggest body, and Lily does have the longest wings though. However the light-weights Dulcia and Nitidus are more middle-weights in this case.
To get a better picture of how Lily’s formation would look like I placed them in the described order on a rug:
I am so very happy I could finish this massive project and want to thank everyone who helped me plan out the designs, especially my friends from the Temeraire Discord.
This won’t be the end for me completely, since I do wish to paint at least Lien, but for now I will stop and enjoy the view of those I have on my shelf.
It also makes me happy to see that I am not the only one taking joy in seeing my Temeraire figurines, which made the effort behind this much more worth it.

So Augustine Little right. Immortalis right.
I've always though that Immortalis was an inherited dragon, as in Little wasn't his original captain, and now I'm curious if that's actually the case or if I just made that up because I was so sure of it but I can't find anything saying that is the case. Granted, I can't really find anything saying the opposite either, so.
