Im really really hoping the theory about Wille having a birthday in s3 are true because i want Simon to give him a gift SO BADLY. I want it to be something sweet and whimsical and soft bc Wille deserves whimsy in his life. Even if it is a gag gift that Wille actually ends up keeping. I really want the stuffed animal frog like i mentioned in my unhinged s3 list bc its the opposite of the snow globe with the hard (now jagged) edges. Like a soft stuffed frog (no crown) it would be so cute :(((((( But really Simon giving Wille any kind of sweet simple gift would be so cute to me.

Lav's All-smiles Problem-solving Roooooundtable ch108 edition!
Welcome, welcome! To Lav's BSD ch108 discussion! Delivered to you via my funky dove Eliott, acting as my mystic messenger. These are random thoughts I had after reading this brilliant chapter, which, writing-wise, made the best possible use of Fedya's character, expanding it even more without even betraying his backstory. Maybe a backstory isn't needed after all, just look at how much FUN he is right now. I am in BLISS
Putting aside the fact that he is literally carrying the plot at this point, come sit with me, I make you a delicious Chinese black tea with rose petals and casually share my thoughts. Hello there, dearest Kat, yes, "where is Lav when you need her?", I am here, I offer you a hug, and to all my friends here who share the sentiment, I hug you too.
A. Before you say ANYTHING about "oh but? maybe Fedya is telling the half-truth? or a half-lie? what if his ability really is the evil one?", my brothers and sisters in Christ, listen to yourself. This man functions almost on a meta-level of character consciousness: he changed his facial expression and aura so convincingly, his tone, his speech, his posture, even the shade of his eyes, fooling not only Sigma, but the readers as well. We are used to characters changing the shade of their eyes when they change mental states or have certain (new) decisions in mind, we as a community are so used to this, all it took was one panel from the Conjurer doing this trick for so many of us to actually believe him and start, yet again, to spiral down the "what if he is good but his ability is evil? what if he is two entities? what if?" rollercoaster. This is so amusing to me, and in a meta-sense must be amusing to Fedya too. While speculation can bloom again based on this, I wouldn't be putting too much effort into reading into his lines here. I take it as a trick. It worked splendidly, almost like it attacked the fandom's major concerns and theories about his character and weaponized them against everyone. That's a meta-kind of tomfoolery. Trolling, if you will. I LOVE that Asagiri made him bamboozle every reader like this. His character so far goes into the best direction, it cultivates and expands his traits and skills in the best way. But let's pretend Fedya really is telling a half-truth there, which is there being an opposition between him and his ability. I talked about this in my essay (see pinned post), there really seems to be a divergence at the core of his character, but it manifests subtly, not like what we saw in ch108. Then again, not even on that can we arrive at any conclusive statements, because if we remember that, of course, "crime and punishment are close friends", it could well be that he and his ability are partners, and you bet I imagine they would BOTH indulge in peak tomfoolery like this together, if that meant one of them switching in and the other out for a sec. Remember, dear souls: aside from his "higher mission", abstract as it still is lore-wise, Fedya's keyword is "fun" or "entertainment", repeatedly. And oh he himself is even more fun now~
B. if Fedya would have wanted to mortally wound Sigma, he'd have chosen a more suitable place to stab him; it looks like a abdominal, lower quadrant, lateral stab, a deliberate choice, I would say, that technically avoids critical, most vascular organs (kidney and spleen for example) and main veins/arteries. I am no doctor, but from what I gathered, Sigma won't bleed out fast at all, and if untreated might get a deadly infection in a longer time (not counting the possibility of septic shock if we assume the knife penetrated and heavily opened an intestine). Sigma needs a medic asap (our queen Yosano when?), but will likely be conscious and quite able to move around and whatnot. Like I argued in my essay, Fedya most likely does not want to kill Sigma, or anybody for that matter, because keeping everyone alive to fulfill various roles and see how their will tosses them in all kinds of directions is more fun for him, more entertaining, but also more useful. He is a long-term strategist, like Dazai. "Our beloved monsters" ❤
C. Fedya evidently exerts some serious mental torment on Sigma, by making him stand by his choices, his will, just like he always desired. The flip side is that Fedya takes his time, or should I say gifts Sigma his time, in which he teaches him the full lesson of what Sigma wants. The responsibility that comes with acting on your own, the terror of facing the consequences when choosing on your own: right now, to Sigma, this freedom is terror. But Fedya is never a one-dimensional character. It's most probable he calculated and devised strategies for both possibilities (a. Sigma with rekindled determination touches him; b. Sigma backpedals on what he decided and does not touch him). The irony is that both scenarios are an affirmation of Sigma's will, because, while the first decision can be seen like foolish bravery, the second one can also be seen as wise self-preservation, if the circumstances so demand it. BSD is not a black-and-white series, diving head-first into danger is not its definition of bravery or heroism. BSD was always about measured decisions, ones the characters take upon themselves willingly. It may be time Sigma does that too, in his own way, and Fedya wants to see that. Why? Well, my guess is because it's fascinating to watch humans grow, and Fedya lives for the entertainment that comes with it. It is actually more interesting if we remember his line from ch42 (“People can be so simple… They truly believe they are thinking for themselves. (…) They don’t want to think they’re being led by the nose”): the pattern is, Fedya puts others under harsh circumstances, and then, under pressure, lets go of them, waiting for their free decision, the true test and expression of their hearts, so to say (which could make a superb discussion if we make a parallel between Kunikida and Sigma, since essentially what happened to Kunikida is happening now to Sigma, except Kunikida did indeed break down, but thanks to healthy support from his comrades he slowly regained his sense of self, and stronger than ever at that time, however… Sigma is alone, isn't he? but what if he needs to be in order to finally get a hold of his own self?). Anyway, how much of that expression is free, or how much is guided or manipulated, is a debate in itself, since it implies relating the freedom to the individual vs relating the freedom to the external factors and possibilites.
D. I do need to underline, just like Fedya also underlined it: Sigma already made his decision, right there when he still tried to get the gun before getting kicked in the face. Fedya moved on to the next step: testing how strong Sigma's will is when an actual chance to act appears. Sigma already accepted the physical pain, but how will he face the mental anguish? That is more Fedya's territory, a "specialist" of breaking people by simply knowing them thoroughly and choosing the right words. But now we gained new info: even in close combat, apparently, Fedya is not to be underestimated. That was a rather strong kick, anyway. But more importantly, he completely turned the tables in a situation where he would be in a total disadvantage. * chef's kiss * that was very bungou stray dogs of him.

i hope you don’t leave!! ❤️ but also your opinions about eddie are so completely valid and i agree that they handled him and his relationship with both buck and tommy so weirdly in this. both eddie’s actions/words and buck’s actions towards eddie felt so ooc and although i’m happy about bi buck, i’m not happy that they basically fucked over eddie’s character and development to elevate buck and fuckass tommy
I need to see how Eddie is gonna be acting next week to make any decisions, but preach. I don't understand the purpose of the focus on Eddie if the point was to make it about Tommy. Unless they were like "were gonna bring the buddie people and give them half of what they want and maybe they'll shut up if we push Eddie to the side" which would be weird because Eddie is very much a main character where Tommy isn't. I'm confused to where this is going ngl

Summary: Adam has never felt the way he feels when he’s with you.
Warnings: none ! just a lotta fluff on fluff on fluff hehe hence the cheesy title. There aren’t really spoilers i think unless you count the location maybe? Idk it’s pretty general imo

He was built like a man — perfect in every way with his chiseled body & god-like strength — but he had the innocence of a child. And y/n loved that about him. He was the purest person she knew, embracing every new experience & every new discovery with such wonder. And she loved that she got to share so many firsts with him.
Y/n always smiled to herself when she remembered the first time he told her he had feelings for her. Or tried to, at least.
They were sitting in silence on a roof in Knowhere, people-watching. They’d come there every afternoon since meeting after the defeat of the High Evolutionary. Having lived in Knowhere with the Guardians before the attack (his attack, ironically), y/n knew all the spots for when you needed a moment alone, & when they’d met, she could tell he was someone who needed that space to just be.
So she introduced him to her spot, & they’d been coming ever since. But Nebula had needed their help with a few tasks that afternoon, so their daily retreat was pushed later into the evening. By this time, the community was out in the streets, dancing & playing & having fun. Music & laughter filled the air, & the faint scent of liquor presented itself as everyone began to drink the night away. It was getting late & y/n was getting tired, so she scooted closed & rested her head on his shoulder.
Y/n felt him tense at the initial contact, before quickly relaxing and melting into it, laying his head on hers. After a couple minutes he spoke.
“Y/n, I… feel something.. when I’m with you.”
She looked up at him without moving from her position, raising an eyebrow in confusion. “Hm?”
“Something.. warm. Tingly? I-I don’t really- how do I- it’s hard to explain…”
Y/n giggled at his flustered attempt to explain himself.
Adam sighed & tried again. “I.. care about you. A lot. But it’s different from the way I cared about my mother. Or Blurp. Like, I want to be with Blurp all the time & hug him & cuddle him, and I want to do the same with you, but in a different way. But I can’t explainhowit’sdifferentitjustknowthatits-”
“Adam!” y/n said with a laugh, stopping his rambling. She lifted her head from its resting place to look at him, amused. “Slow down!”
“See! When you smile at me like that I feel it!”
Y/n bit her lip to restrain the smile spreading across her face, her brows furrowed in thought.
“Can I try something?” She asked. Adam nodded.
“Do you feel it when I do this?” Y/n gently brushed a lock of hair away from his face. He nodded again, slower.
“What about.. this?” Y/n brought her hand down to his shoulder & dragged it down slowly to rest on his chest. She felt his heartbeat quicken.
“I feel it more now.”
Using her other hand, she grabbed his arm to raise it between them, and then placed her hand on his, gently interlacing their fingers. “This?”
His heartbeat quickened again and he nodded. A curious smile spread over his lips.
“I feel it right in my stomach.. almost like it’s.. like it’s fluttering. Like-”
“Butterflies.” Y/n said, finishing his sentence.
Adam nodded again, excitedly, like she’d just solved a puzzle he’d been stuck on for days. “Like butterflies!”
Y/n leaned in closer, resting their intertwined hands in his lap. “Adam, you like me,” she said with a teasing smile on her lips.
“Well yeah, you know I like you. I like most people. Except the ones I need to fight, which used to be you & our friends but now I like you guys.”
She chuckled and pressed her head against the nook of his neck, back resting on his chest, pulling his arm around her, fingers still locked together.
“No, Adam. I mean you like like me. Like, romantically.” She tapped his torso with her free hand. “That’s why you feel all warm and gooey inside when you’re with me, or when I touch you. You having feelings for me. Romantic feelings.”
“Romantic…,” he whispered to himself, then paused shortly. “Do you like me too? In the romantic way?”
Y/n felt his chest tense as his breathing hitched, anticipating her answer. He may not understand his feelings yet, but he knew he wanted her to feel the same way. She squeezed his hand softly in reassurance.
“Mhmm. I like you a lot.”
He eased beneath her & then was quiet for a moment, as if deep in thought, processing the new feeling he had just discovered.
Then he held her tighter, and she felt him smile as she melted into his embrace.
“I like liking you. It feels nice.”

"Xiao is what??" "HE'S MISSING! FOR LIKE 2 WEEKS Oh god Mr. Zhongli is really worried..." One of Xiao's friends, Indarias happen to knock on your door asking if you ever see Xiao, she claimed that Xiao has been missing for 2 weeks.
"Well i haven't seen him.. maybe ask Mr. Zhongli for more information?" She thanked you for the idea. Closing the door you filled Kuni and Xiao's food container before going to your room to watch something from your phone
As you were lying down, you couldn't help but feel bothered that rhe fact your old friend Xiao has been missing for 2 weeks straight, the same day the new cat was delivered to you. Sitting up from your bed you ran your fingers at your hair, messing it up with a groan "ugh... Im probably just having crazy theories.." you tried to take the news you heard from Indarias but you have a feeling that there is something really wrong to your kittens.
Locking the door of your room, you made sure everything is sealed before rummaging in your drawers, taking out a marker and push aside the huge board. "Now where do i start.."
Looking over at your calendar you remembered you marked the day you found Kuni and Xiao, starting at Kuni a red mark was spotted at "December 27..." You immediately wrote it on the board and opening your phone and scroll back to the day when Childe Called you that something is wrong about Kuni "January 6... that time Childe called me while i was out with my gfs" writing the date down again you recalled Childe's words.
You don't understand exactly but as you rephrase it again you finally understood now. "He said 'your cat is a human'" you couldn't help but doubt him, he's full of jokes so maybe he's joking around? You're not sure, "god i can't do this alone if i don't have much information.." staring at the board with dates written on it, you could only call one person for help, Hu tao.
Dialing Hu tao's number which she immediately answered "Yes [Name]? Need something?" You gulped nervously and ler out a exhale "heya Hu tao.. i was wondering, the last time we have a sleep over, while i was out of the store... Did something crazy happen?" You heard Hu tao let our a 'oh' You were somewhere when Childe called you that Kuni is a human, but you can't believe it still thats why you're here, asking your friends about it.
"Well there is something crazy happen when you were out... But were not sure if its the right time to tell you" 'we?' you thought but at the same time you felt a little hurr that they know something that you dont "well can you-" "also why did you ask? You usually ignore these things... Unless you have something in your mind?"
"Well.. i really can't tell you for now, but back to the topic what happened that time i was out?" "Hold up im sorry [Name]! I gotta go sleep, ill tell you tomorrow!" feeling disappointed you bid your goodnight to your friend, hell you didn't even realize what time it is. "I feel helpless... Who should i ask.. i can't wait till morning" you knew that if you wait till morning for answers you will forget things easily "i should call Ayaka or Yoimiya... But they're probably asleep too.." you were so close to loosing hope. But not until you remember you have cctv cameras around your house.
Immediately going to open your computer you played the cctv footage at the day January 6 and the time Childe was in your house to babysit.
You watch closely through your monitor and noticed that Childe was clinging on the door for no reason, and a little silhouette of a man (yk the reference) but you knew that there are no one inside the house aside Childe.. and thats all inside the footage, scrolling up to the footage at the day January 15, the day of the sleepover. This time you payed attention to Kuni, and the time has come when Yoimiya and the others arrived and after some silly things, you saw yourself getting out of the house. And all of the sudden there's another silhouette but as you were about to find your answers the whole video turned black, leaving you speechless. "What the fuck is going on while i was out..." Deciding to close the computer you were about to give up again but you suddenly remembered the person you accidentally bumped with.
"He shares same hair color as Kuni.. but some people in the world also have that hair color... And those eyes.." Groaning again you sat on your table and to draw the man's face and rematch it with Kuni's picture
"They both share same features... But someone out there can have features as him, but why is it so close as Kunis..." And then it clicked you
"Could it be...
him...?"

i use tags a lot. instead of writing things in captions like a normal person (it just makes sense to me this way idk !)
beggin on my knees to use tone tags when interacting with me when needed cause i tend to not understand sarcasm through text </3 (i try to use them in my text posts/tags always)

im 28, but i sometimes say im thirty as a vague response because its easier and faster to say (or safer to say to strangers)

for context, keita/raze (he/him) is my irl partner. he's been a simp for alucard (castlevania) longer than i've begun simping for strahd. i only discovered this years into the relationship when we watched castlevania (where i expected to be a bigger simp for castlevania), and instead HE made high pitch simping noises as alucard appeared on the screen and i was like -sus eyes- wait a GOSH DARN MINUTE-. also, keita has a thing for necks. i shrugged it off when he first told me, but years later i started simping for strahd and now i look back at that moment like 'hm. odd.-'. anyways, i mostly started dating him because he sounds like a kermit the frog southern guy who goes 'howdy howdy' and he says 'i should be golden' unironically and i think thats pretty funny

Let’s keep this simple – be nice, be respectful.
I work full time and on a weird schedule, thus I will be online at odd hours and be offline for days/weeks at a time.
The speed of my replies varies as a result.
I’m 21+ and will not follow back muns under 18.
I also will not follow any non-roleplay blogs.
This blog is NOT SPOILER FREE.
I don’t always send in passwords, but I will always read your rules.
I keep my formatting to a minimum with bolded speech and small text. If I notice that the other mun is not using small text, text will not be resized.
Given how HSR is still releasing, I will tag posts regarding the newest story driven quest with “HSR spoilers” for approximately two (2) weeks after release. After, I will sparingly tag depending on the severity of the spoiler. Read mores will be used when appropriate.
I don’t mind following duplicates of my muse. However, I do realize that some may not be comfortable and thus will refrain from following unless you act first.
Also as this website is shifting towards this, I use beta editor for all my posts.
