#p4 #p4g #persona 4 #persona 4 golden #hanamura yosuke #yosuke hanamura #im so so so so weak for this scene because it's really... yosuke stepping up to fill in for yu in yu's absence #teddie's the one that jumpstarts it when he says he wants to visit nanako but yosuke makes the connection immediately #and doesn't let it become a missed opportunity and his actions became so crucial in this scene #he understood the gravity of the situation and starts reaching out to everyone else #also when yu is down for the count kanji is yosuke's first point of contact #listen LISTEN the yosuke kanji friendship is so dear to my heart #yosuke called kanji first and then naoto second even though naoto is supposed to be the “sensible” one #but its also about the way he delegates - he trusts kanji to storm the police station with him while getting naoto to check on nanako #and having naoto disseminate information to the rest of the team #and it's actually so clever because naoto may be known by the police #kanji is more intimidating and yosuke understood that speed and force was more crucial here #but naoto's level headedness made him a better candidate for checking in on nanako #because if nanako had disappeared then naoto as a detectice would be the first on scene as well as being the best in assessing the situation #intuitively i would have thought to being naoto to the station #but this was actually way better #chewing glass like yosuke being yu's second in command really isnt just some kind of throwaway line like he really gets it #he knows how to strategise and he knows the strengths of his friends the way yu does and how to best get them going #and also how yosuke's directions go more or less unquestioned? especially in this time of crisis? when yu isn't around?#the team doesn't splinter off and quabble amongst themselves they paid attention to yosuke and listened to him!!!#because they trust him like how they trust yu!!!!#AAAAAAAAAAAH #yosuke oh yosuke yosuke truly my beloved #he's good with his queue

here's everything that could've been for the costume design contest:

other design thoughts:

i originally wanted to create something for laphlaes,, but i was having too many difficulties so i ended up switching over to lairei instead (sorry grandpa)

the overall idea of having something fancy & elegant stayed the same,, but the only major thing that changed was the character i was drawing for

lairei's look is centered around the idea of a fancy night out,, with outfit elements showing similarities to her base design

base design similarities i wanted were styled hair, necklaces, a large fur collar of some kind (in this case a shawl), a long dress, thigh slits, a relatively open back, and a deeply cut neckline

i'd say the main inspo from her other looks would be her "midnight edition" look,, with the same overall fanciness but More Casual and Less Elaborate??

i was tempted to give her a dark red lip to match her darker eyeshadow but i'm not too fond of how that might match her other elements so i settled for a soft pink

#if u r curious abt following the saga that is my life:#i did finally accept an official offer from a school this afternoon. which is a huge relief and really exciting #and for once i think i did something that will b good for me in mind and body lol bc i think i could b happy with any of the places i #applied to but this program is most geared to my interests and its in a place where i think i can have fun due to the accessibility #of nature and the mountains haha. like at rutgers i think i could have got a good education and had a lot of opportunities but i think it #would have crushed my soul a lil bc it would b more high pressure and in the city. ya kno? so i hopefully i dont regret the choice lol #i still have to wait on the offical acceptance stuff but now at least i can allow myself to get excited abt the potential project and start #researching. which i mean ill have 5yrs of a phd for that but idk im excited and my life feels so empty and meaningless rn ive gotta take #the excitement where i can haha #anyway housing is gonna b a bitch bc there arent a lot of places available in grad student price ranges in the city to the point where they #said so in the official offer rip. and i have to decide when im leaving the southwest bc i could stay til August or leave in july and take #like a whole almost 2 months to just not b doing anything for a sec. and my dad was like !!! u could go to the crazy state parks #or drive out to the pacific northwest! and that would b amazing but also that sounds so scary to do on my own lol #like i dont wanna b missing and murdered as a youngish non guy traveling alone #but i could do it if i tried im sure. anyway i just wanted to let yall kno #bc im so doom and gloom on here all the time but a transition period is looming so im only stuck here for a few more months #and hopefully itll b a page turn into a happier place haha #watch out yellowstone cyanobacteria. im coming for u >:-]#knock on wood. ya kno. just in case #hhhh at least i can breathe a lil better now i have a direction #unrelated
