I was just doing a bit of research on the MSPA wiki for a response to a mutual and like, I already can't stand how Andrew Hussie treated Gamzee and Gamzee's fans but

(From the section of Gamzee's page regarding his part in the Candy Epilogue)

After arriving back on Earth C, John opens the fridge gingerly and Gamzee bursts out gasping and sweating. After an extended display of hacking, coughing, and crying, he begins to express his regrets for being a bItCh AsS nAuGhTy MoThErFuCkEr. Calliope comforts him throughout his self-pitying soliloquy, as he recounts his epiphanies about how awfully he had treated his friends, followed by justifications about how his upbringing from his lusus and his place in Alternian society are to blame for putting him on a harmful life path.

I'll say one thing about dredge, no game has as rapidly recontextualized itself in my eyes as when i drove up to what i thought was a shipwreck only for it to come alive as a crab and attempt to smash my ship

I stared at that for a good long while processing

Guys guys guess what!!! I'm still struggling with health issues and writing takes a lot of effort I just don't have the energy for. But some friends decided it could be fun to do a little fanfic/fanart collab. And it's just a silly casual thing so its okay that it will take me a really long time. So im gonna be working on an enby Dazai fic that will get fanart with it!!!! I'm really excited. I hope it turns out good. This will be the first project I'm working on since I went of hiatus and im worried it will escalate my issues again but im going to try anyways. Wish me luck!!!!

ik Doing It Scared is a massive part of helping anxiety and just life in general but I'm still mad about it

Holy shit! I just realized the reason I couldn't fucking see darker art on my phone screen is because I forgot I turned the brightness way down last night and never fixed it. I feel so stupid.

#i can now see the fanart id been looking at without it being mostly shadowed aha #crab says words #i keep my brightness pretty low but i had a headache last night so turned it almost all the way off #it was enough for it to be darker but not super obvious hence the being dumb and not fixing it #anyways i actually came here to talk about how i had a physical therapy appointment but they told me that actually im fine so uh #they recommended seeing neurology for my head issues and maybe pain management and to come back later when i knew more specific stuff #i didnt even know there was a specialized pain management department at the hospital #honestly i think i manage just fine *dramatic flailing that indicates that im both horribly offend and also lying*#anyways yeah still not diagnosed and still in constant pain lets go! i have another appointment next month for something else #its like rheumatology? i dont know what they do aha but apparently i need to see them to get diagnosed?#i am a perfectly mature and functional adult.... (my mother made the appointments and knows the information)#i am absolutely useless :D #and with all that said! sorry i was too lazy to make this two different posts lmao #the pt appointment left me with a horrible headache that i still have so im gonna go cry about it :)

Ahhh! Things are good this Wednesday! I FINALLY got my time off approved for next week (just two days but I've been stressing ab them not approving it and having to dip into my pto time instead of just getting unpaid time off)

AND!!! I can hear one of the crabs moving around in the tank!! They both went down to molt within a week of each other and I thought they both passed away :( fingers crossed that they both come up and that the one and about rn doesn't uh eat the other) but one of them is up and moving under the dirt!!! :D

I can now go back to sleep peacefully and enjoy my day off sgdggdggf

Starting a new oni save that's not a rime colony for the first time in forever and I am in agony how do y'all live like this (shaking and crying as it is forced to enter a mildly warm area for drekos)

#rat rambles #oni posting #also makes guiser taming more annoying but its ok I can manage #my main goal for this playthrough is to make more use of automation and spoms #my last one isnt necessarily being completely abandoned I just wanted to try getting off of rime for a bit #I miss the hypothermia pop ups every five seconds but on the bright side I dont have to worry abt my water supply freezing #Im also trying some other new things and just trying to be more ambitious in general #I managed to force myself to upgrade my bathrooms within the first 50 cycles are you proud of me #I also am making better use of hydro whatever farm plots for my obligatory bristleberry farm #thoroughly enjoying the lessened dupe labor even if it puts a bit more pressure on my initial water supply #I do have a steam vent and a salt water guiser nearby tho so Im not particularly worried #mainly Im just figuring out how I wanna go abt cooling it #my salt water guiser is right by a tundra biome with a cooling machine right inside it so I could attempt to use that #but from my multiple attempts to utilize that thing it's a bit hard to use for liquid cooling #I also think I might build my spom in that same biome so idk #I do have a second tundra biome thats also right next to the saltwater biome but Im trying to preserve it best I can to wildfarm sleet weat #I have also made the laziest drowning chamber I could manage and its called building my hatch ranch over my water tank #plus a critter sensory autosweeper and conveyor loader #it does overkill a lil every time it activates but its ok Im lazy enough to live with it #I also have some pacu and a crab in there so its a whole party in there #this is also going to be my first time having sanishells once I get an egg #not going to properly ranch them tho I kind of just took one to use as a trash can for my early polluted dirt #also Im glad I was able to get onto bristle berries as a primary food source quickly this time around #Im not going to go crazy expanding it for now since I have a couple other crops Im planning on getting going soon as well #mainly lettus and sleet wheat once I find some pips #then I can have early frost burgers if I want. I wont since I havent found any natural gas vents yet but y'know #speaking of oh 4 natural gass vents all near eachother on my last save how I miss you you made power so easy #on the bright side Ill have an oil biome that isn't filled with solid oil this time lol #I should rly make some actual use of oil this time around #hey who knows maybe Ill get far enough to make a sour gas boiler (lying)

honestly i think one of the best examples to how contradictory my preferences can be, one of my favourite foods is sushi despite the fact that i hate most fish.

#shut up danni's talking #the exception is seafood like prawns; crab; octopus; squid; etc #if it's not a typical fish like tuna; salmon etc then i am significantly more likely to enjoy it #so of course when i want sushi i always have to go for the vegetarian options bc even when there's seafood options i like #one of the most popular ingredients in a lot of sushi is avocado which i can't eat bc of texture reasons #sigh i miss the menu of my favourite sushi place pre-covid they had such a wide range of sushi and i went like almost monthly #i then went and spent like £20 on just sushi bc the range was so good which you could pick and choose #now they only have prepicked box sets of which i can only get one :/#they've started to expand the menu again but like. barely.#anyways. i splurged to order from there and got a yakisoba bento and some cucumber hosumaki #that's the only sushi i can order from there now but its still v v good #the yakisoba just as much its been ages since i had it im gonna have to restrain myself to not order it again #its too expensive lmao
