one of those time travel AUs where Vader goes back into his body as Anakin before he fell to the dark side and fixes everything. Palpatine is dead, the Jedi are alive, and everyone's happy. He never found out who Luke's twin sister was, but that's fine because this time around he'll get to know both of them from birth. The twins are born and Padmé says she wants to name their daughter Leia! :) And Anakin thinks, Hmm. Looking back I can see that Princess Leia was a good person, and we were only enemies because I went and became a Sith. Okay we can name our daughter Leia :)
Years pass and Leia starts growing older. The Organas adopt a completely different girl. Anakin's looking at his daughter like no, it can't be. No way. Do NOT tell me that Princess Leia was Luke's twin all along, but time keeps passing and it becomes increasingly apparent that this is indeed the case, and now he's having a Crisis
something narratively delicious about ketheric being a rejected and failed father, gortash being a rejected son failed by his parents and durge and orin being children terrified of failing their father and his rejection that inevitably will follow
like gale made the lovely sky for tav. he would try and replicate the sun for astarion. besides being hard at work with trying to secure him a way to see the sun again, gale would most definitely try and replicate a sunrise for astarion.
All the people who go Martin is a sweetheart and could do no wrong? What are you seeing that I'm not? Because I think you are doing Martin, his character development, and the struggles he went through dirty. After all come season 5 he hated almost everyone around him except for Jon. He wanted to kill people and enact revenge. Martin, whether he realized it or not, was willing to manipulate Jon as well. Martin is a great character not because he's relatable or never actually hurt others or is sweet but because he shows how easy it is to fall back into a cycle of abuse if you're not careful. Because Martin *had* stopped the cycle of abuse. He did not guilt trip or hurt others like his mother did to him but after the traumas of all the seasons before Martin snapped in his own way in season 5. That's what makes him human. That's why out of all the other assistant he also dies. Martin represents all the negative feelings one has towards themselves. That's why his sacrifice is so important at the end of the podcast. Because the new world is supposed to be a better place without these negative feelings.
It's interesting to watch throughout the podcast as while Martin externalizes his feelings more Jon internalizes them more. It's part of the reason they are drawn to eachother. TMA is also all about choice and in the end Martin chose Jon. Jon chose the betterment of the world. Basira chose to finally leave Daisy behind. Georgie finally chose to get involved. Melanie chose herself and to let go of her anger. That's why Basira, Georgie, and Melanie survive out of everyone else. They saw their flaws and tried to change themselves. Now that doesn't mean I agree with them but they all chose to be better. When did Jon, Martin, or Tim ever do that? (Sasha and Daisy are their own outliers and rabbit holes)
Now don't get me wrong I still love all these characters. I've never related to someone more than I relate to Martin and I absolutely adore Jon and Tim. But a major point in TMA is that there is no good guy. There is only making the best choice with what you know and have at your disposal.
THIS IS ALL MY OPINION PLEASE DON'T ATTACK ME. However discussion and reblogs are always welcome!!!
For some reason, i perfectly picture Akechi, with a warm cup of coffee, and the old jazz songs that he likes in the background, reminiscing of Akiren when "I wish you love" starts to play
Then, maybe it was Akiren who made the coffee, and enters the room just to leave a kiss in his cheek
Or maybe he tried his best to recreate the old taste that he has long not tasted, while he gets lost in mind
haha! i lied. i got one more image up my sleeve! (only because i just finished it lol)(uploads gonna be slower now...)
this is a concept for an 50s AU, cause ever since eckcro mentioned the 50s symbolism and references within the movie, i've been thinking about it kinda nonstop. i'll probably elaborate on my ideas later, if you want me to (just kidding i'll probably do it anyways)
this one took FOREVER... i am never doing backgrounds again UGH
Bored, so send me skeletons and I'll rank their smooch-ability
0 is not at all smoochable, and 12 is the most smoochable ever, with each of the individual criteria being worth 2 points. There will be a little wiggle room sometimes for some skeletons if it feels fitting, but eh. We'll cross that bridge when we get to it
I'll be giving points based on:
How dangerous is their mouth? (Sharp/jagged teeth/fangs mean less points)
Would they bite? How aggressive are they? (The more aggressive and dangerous they are, the less points they receive)
Are there any health hazards to the smoocher, like anything that could hurt them or make them sick?
