no one in any other media will ever be able to soulmate as hard as blake and yang soulmate. eyes the colours of each others souls. blake choosing yang as her partner despite the fact that the last time they talked yang called her "a lost cause". the shared trauma. the implication that in their past lives they were a faunus princess and a human prince that killed themselves bc they couldn't be in love romeo and juliet style. the way blake tossed a bottle cap into the ocean from menagerie and it washed up on the beach in patch perfectly for yang. the way their fighting styles compliment eachother perfectly. the way yang's semblance absorbs damage but blake's dodges it. did i mention eyes the colours of each others souls.
